✓ Please ReadI know I’m here way after this game came out but I want to say something to everyone looking at the reviews if considering purchasing this game. ONE, the controls are NOT as hard to use as everyone says and you can change them in the settings. TWO, I have completed the whole game, IT IS POSSIBLE TO BEAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE LEVELS you just have to spend a while on them (it took me over 15 minutes to get through certain levels) THREE, once you beat all the levels you can go back on hardcore mode (THE GAME IS NOT OVER) This game is one of the best games on my device ♥️.Version: 1.0.8

✓ Refreshing PlatformerBeautiful world maps and interesting storyline. Loved and loved love this game. It is extremely difficult to get all 3 stars per level which would take a lot of practice and time to get the remaining two which sets a time limit and asks for no deaths, but for those challengers out there that’s for you. They even have a hardcore mode after completing the game which I will not be doing lol. Worth the money nonetheless. Very thoughtful puzzles that I enjoyed. Please add more games like this. I also recommend Brothers, tale of two sons. Is very good different gameplay but good story driven game. I believe the next game on my list is Oddmar, I think it is called. ✓ AmazingOk let's get this straight as a rule I don't pay for many apps, the last platformer I paid for was Sonic the hedgehog which I love but today I decided to get this. And I am glad I did it's got some very good and clever level design, the graphics are some of the best I have seen on the pad and move so smoothly, the parallax scrolling gives a real sense of depth to the levels. The controls , I have only used the default, take a little bit of getting used to but after a while you start to get used to them and then when you die ,and you will die, you know it's due to an error by yourself and not because of the controls. At 99p it's well worth it I have already played it far longer than 99p would give you in the arcade. Basically just get it and you will soon realise why it's been getting such good reviews..Version: 1.0.6

✓ Great App however keeps crashing ..I first saw this app in the Editors choice section. Noticing the app price was a little steep, I checked the reviews and based on the highly positive feedback, I decided to give it a go. The game itself is excellent. Highly entertaining, it has excellent graphics, a variety of different levels to get through and requires a fair amount of logical thinking in order to work out how to get through each level. I would have given it 5 stars however on reaching Act 3 I am finding the app is regularly crashing and kicking me out. I haven't been able to progress past this stage which is frustrating. Fingers crossed there will be an update to resolve this problem, although judging by the reviews it seems that I am currently in the minority as I cannot see other reported crashing faults..Version: 1.0.2

Although I bought this game as soon as I saw it on the App Store a month or so ago out of curiosity, I didn't play it until a week ago; mostly because I've been playing Papers, Please and Titanfall constantly on my PC... I kind of regret not playing this straight away as it was certainly not what I was expecting, I was thinking it was going to be some half-assed platformer but it certainly is something unique in its own way in my opinion. This leads you though a variety of landscapes making it more challenging as you move on. Leo goes on to discover that there is more to life than his fortune. Even when you finish it you can still go on to do the bonus levels, find the hidden cogs and have a crack at hardcore mode. This game is truly amazing. ✓ ExquisiteI bought Leo's Fortune after seeing it on Editor's picks and reading a few reviews. Normally I download games and don't play them after a few goes but this one is different; it's magic! The graphics are beautiful, so crisp. Sound is equally excellent, Leo sounds a little eastern European. He's quite adorable as he's just a green ball of fuzz. He can expand to about twice the size though to help solve puzzles and glide. Controls are very fluid. Traditional on screen buttons can be selected from the options menu or just use the touch screen (screen is divided into 2 by an invisible line and you control with both thumbs). I do like the controls but if you have larger thumbs you may prefer the traditional control. Levels get harder quite quickly and you'll enjoy working out how to complete the puzzles. Gorgeous game and one of the best purchases I've made to date..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Fan-f'n-tastic!To be honest, when I first started playing this game I was a bit disappointed. I had been waiting to download this game for a while and my hopes were very high. So.... when I finally shelled out $6 for the game and immediately started playing I was really not happy. It had great graphics, ambience and controls but the levels were monotonous and not challenging. It felt like all I was doing was following the coins through a few loops and dodging some spikes and gears etc...... However, that all began to change on the last level of the first act and has done nothing but improve ever since. The game play is superb, the challenges/puzzles are no longer obvious and there are more of them. Simply put the "feel" of the game it's-self has greatly changed for the better. This has to be one of the best IOS games I have ever played. I would put it on par with - or perhaps even slightly better than - chronology TCE. They are both awesome but with some major differences in game play ~ but Leo's Fortune went that extra mile with the final levels and the moralistic story line..Version: 1.0.6

✓ Mechanics errorsLove the game but there are some things to be fixed. Sometimes the mechanics just flat out do not work. For instance, on level 10, there is a part where you drop down into a spinning spiked wheel and have to inflate to avoid being impaled. However, whenever I move to inflate, instead of slowing Leo down, it speeds him up sending him crashing right into the spiked wheel, causing death and making it impossible to move past this part let alone complete the level. In the previous level, level 9, there was a similar problem. You would inflate Leo and float him over 4 spiked branches. Despite being inflated Leo would sink down to the ground and inevitably crash into the spikes, since you can’t get him back up from the ground. At no point was he deflated. Still inflated, just sunk to the ground because the mechanics would not work correctly. Please fix these errors..Version: 1.0.14

One small thing that might stop you from getting this game is the slight lack of levels. There are 20 not-too-long levels, which turns out as about 6 hours of gameplay. But, to get 4 bonus levels unlocked, you have to get 3 stars on 4 regular levels, which can be tricky. And, to unlock hardcore mode, you have to get 3 stars on every level, which can be very tricky. So, if you end up doing that, too, it ends up as about 24 hours of gameplay, which is pretty good. Overall, great game with 6-24 hours of gameplay..Version: 1.0.7

✓ A Bug and Use Button ControlsThere is a bug in iOS 16.7.5 where Leo will sometimes inflate while tapping anywhere on the screen, and at other times he takes a long time to deflate after releasing the button. I got halfway thru the game and decided to try the button controls instead of the touch controls, having had frustration with the touch controls. The missions come in perfect bite size chunks that can be completed in 3-5 minutes which is well suited to mobile gaming.
