✓ Could be less grindy and controls need work on iPadEnjoying blowing things up on the high seas. Visually it's great. But for a $3 app the gameplay is a bit too grindy to be temped with IAP by the 2nd mission. The game is way too repetitive to be this IAP laden. This game was designed to be supported through IAP. Don't no why I had to pay or it. I trusted that KiwiNinja knew why Bloons was a success, disappointed. I'll keep giving it a go though. Controls need a joystick. On the iPad it's too difficult to steer while shooting. You hand is constantly blocking something. Anyways it appears that IAP is just too temping for too many developers these days. I wish developers who knew how to put an addictive and fun game would just once release an IAP free version..Version: 1.0

✓ An incredible disappointmentA navy RTS game? Awesome! Or...it should've been. Missions don't have much variety, earning resources is at a snail's pace (classic IAP pay-to-upgrade model), NO AUDIO, and, oh yeah, this offline game needs a network connection to do practically anything other than grind away. Had real potential and a great shipbuilding model, but squandered all of it. Might've been a great game. As it is, it's a $3 example of an app to avoid. Giving it a D- is the most charitable thing I can do; it didn't earn an F, but it sure didn't do much to earn any better..Version: 1.0

✓ Decent idea but very limitedGame has a great foundation, especially if you like naval warfare. Build up a fleet of ships you get to customize with various hulls, a plethora of weapons and components as well as with modules and skill points you get as you level up. You can also send ships on missions to earn resources while you don't pilot themselves. Sadly they put a lot of effort into the foundation but apparently very little into gameplay. Piloting your ship and taking out ships/bases/aircraft is fun the first dozen times. But then you realize you gotta grind the same noob levels 100 more times to buy that next hull, or 1000 more times to level up enough to unlock another level you can grind some more on. They did add random boss encounters and "elite" versions of same levels you can play thru but rewards are still pretty pitiful. All in all with more things to do it'd be great, but the content isn't there now and if you do spend money to buy better stuff fast you quickly find its pointless because you still don't have anything to do with it.Version: 1.0
✓ Don't purchase!Don't purchase the In App Purchases. They screw you. I purchased the Bulwark battle cruiser for $6.99 and I'm sitting here looking at ship PIECES. You are given $500,000 in the deal but it costs $750,000 to build the hull and then each bridge costs $250,000 to build. That doesn't include the other included pieces. If I spend real money to buy a battleship I shouldn't have to sit here looking at ship pieces. I'm negative $750,000 and I don't have it so I can't do anything. It's ridiculous. I won't ever purchase anything from Ninja Kiwi ever again..Version: 1.0
✓ Paid for some micro transactions to TOFTTLevel locked stages force a huge grind, only 3 levels available for the first few hours of gameplay. Lack of distinct weapon styles make weapon types within the same category limited (eg. Gatling gun, different Gatling gun builds only offer different dps).Version: 1.0

✓ Cool, but...A little screwed up, since it takes 1-3 missions to get enough parts/materials for making components. LOVE the wide selection of bridges, ships, and turrets. Also a little bit too much sci-fi for warships still on the sea, lol. Also doesn't deserve to cost $2.99, should be $1.99 or less. Hint to all new players, start off as Destroyer..Version: 1.0
✓ Was it worth it?This game, AT FIRST, was beautiful. I loved it and played it for an hour and enjoyed every last second. BUT, we have one tiny issue. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PROGRESS WITH OUT PAYING. ( well not impossible but very difficult ) A.K.A folks, A pay to play game that is pay to win. If this sounds unattractive to you, don't buy it.
