✓ OkaySeems a little primitive and the format is a little unusual to use. The actual graphic/background is a little distracting also, however the reader seems okay. Difficult to say how accurate it is but for a free app, it seems to fit the intended purpose..Corie from QLD, AUS.Version: 5.9

✓ Magnets: toys are funMy husband works with REAL EMF emitters due to his job: Tower operations. He has to wear a high tech meter which is much like a voltmeter. You wouldn’t use your phone to test if there was a live wire in your house to not electrocute yourself while installing a new outlet or light switch because 1) it’s impossible 2) not it’s purpose. This is a novelty app, a toy, and so I’ll give it a better than 1 star rating for functionality of the app, not its intention just development function, it works and doesn’t crash. But as for what it claims it does, it does not. Don’t pay for this. Play with it, test it, but remember it’s a toy. If you did spend money, I am sorry, it’s akin to paying for your coffee three times: first when you buy it, second when you tip too high for it. Your phone can not detect EMF. Period. A brand new magnet, out the package not near or having ever touched an electrical device emitted very high. A second magnet, same. My clock: nothing. My Fitbit: nothing. My stove: Nothing! A fridge magnet, omg dangerous. A flat quarter sized magnet for my clipboard: dangerously high. And only when I touch it to the phone. If you want a real monitor if you are truly concerned about EMF and your health, please do yourself a favor and put your money towards a real meter. ✓ It’s easySo far the is functional and very easy to use and there is easy to find information included in the app about EMF. I myself have been dealing with some very serious issues due to EMF exposure and hope this program can help me begin to find a solution. The dangers from EMF are very real and very scary. ✓ Technically it does work.It measures in micro Tesla, witch is 0.0001 of a mg and up to 3mg is “”normal”” so ur not really gonna detect much with this but it does work and give me different read out for the plugs, tv, microwave, ect. ✓ Worst app that I have ever gotten!!!Maybe the thing works, maybe it doesn't! How would I know since there are no instructions. It keeps alerting me of a high reading, which was taken 3 weeks ago, even after I have tried to "reset values" numerous times. The values DO NOT reset, no matter how many times you tell it to! Worse still, it will not record new values (I am assuming the memory bank is too short to add more, but it won't erase, or write over old values). Speaking of values, the clock/time is completely illogical; date format is fine. I have never seen that time format used in America (12.7... what does that mean 12:42?; it was only a few minutes after 12, well before 12:42). I am assuming it is a foreign format. ✓ Unreliable False ReadingsThis app is not effective nor accurate in detecting EMF. When placing your device against any steel object the needle went off the scale and the alarm sounded. As I found out when I placed my device against a disused galvanised gas pipe. Immediately alarmed that the gas pipeline may have been live I tested it with a calibrated voltmeter to earth. The test voltage was zero (0) volts. Upon this discovery I decided to set up a control test with a small steel cage outside away from any electrical interference. Testing the area around the cage, the readings were around 0.7, when I placed my device on the steel cage the readings immediately went off the scale again. This in an untrustworthy app and I would not rely on it to take accurate EMF reading..FuzzygazVersion: 4.3

✓ Not sure of the measurementsI tried to compare the measurements on a mobile phone while all radio signals where turned on like 4G, wifi, bluetooth and in between live call and tried it again while phone was in flight mode. The result was disappointing. In both cases the measurements where very high around 20-30μ. There was no difference or drop of the emf when the phone was in flight mode as it was expected. ✓ The upgrade is a lieI do like this app because it’s consistent with its readings. But that’s about it to like about it. There’s no other options or settings with using the meter. I bought the upgrade and it does come with ad free unlimited EMF reading time but it doesn’t alert you when you are around high exposure unless the app is open. The way they explained the upgrade is that you can be alerted when you are walking around high exposure. But why TF am I gonna be walking around everywhere with the app open? That’s stupid. If I have the app open I don’t need to be alerted cuz I can see it on the MF screen. So what’s the point of being alerted if I have the open? But there’s no way to adjust the alerts. Even with the sound option turned on, it doesn’t beep or notify you without the app being open. In fact, the add-on wasn’t presented to me until after the app was fully downloaded..Nevertheless, I tried to use the app prior to purchasing it - I got the same levels on everything I tested (which I’m unsure if it was even a valid test, as it only lasted mere seconds before an ad interrupted & took over the entire screen).. ✓ Great but a time waster thanks to adsThis works wonderfully and deserves 5 stars, but because this app has also been purposely made to be such an annoying time-waster while trying to use it even for a short time (constant ads and a 10-12 second limit on taking a reading...with yet another ad after every reading!), I'm not going to reward you with money. This app functions great otherwise. Aren't the constant ads enough, without the time limit? It's like having to pay customer service before they'll care just a little bit. ✓ UselessTried various devices and could not get much sense out of it. When I tried to measure microwave oven the meter got totally confused and jittering between high and low values. When I put it close to my laptop the value was lower than in the middle of the room. When I put it close to the mobile phone it goes down to a very low value and it is difficult to find the “right” distance to measure the higher value. ✓ Worst hall effect sensor appFree version limits out at 1uT, only 5 seconds of measurement at a time. Cannot detect 60hz fluctuations in mains voltage lines, no option to export data, horrendous UI. Searching “sensors” on the app store gives a number of more useful (free) apps that will get you access to the raw data from your phone’s hall effect sensors without trying to sell you the tinfoil hat gospel. The only way **household** emf can harm you is by causing an electrical fire through either a frayed wire that arcs, or a coiled power cable/extension cord that heats up through an inductive load. A more useful hall effect sensor app could point you in the direction of diagnosing this by sticking your phone near your circuit breaker and turning circuits and appliances off 1 by 1 and looking at the logs.
