Stepz - Step Counter & Tracker for Positive User Reviews

Take that first stepThis app is really very useful and easy to use. As the title implies it counts your steps and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that others do which makes it so easy to use. You can read how many steps you’ve taken on a day, week, month and even year. It also has cute goals that you can aim for such as distances to cities that your steps will have covered. Highly recommended..Version: 3.11.9

One of the best app step counterBest app using from last 3 years and amazing dashboard. It has Nice dashboard, graphs lots of other stuff. Best display. Best app till now on iphone..Version: 4.8.0

It’s pretty good.Totally synced with my iPhone and Apple ID account to retrieve all old health/steps stats that were recorded from multiple previous iPhones. Very happy with the free version, the ads aren’t overly annoying..Version: 4.8.0

Tellement utileCette application m’aide avec ce suivi chaque journée.Version: 4.4.2

Great app with a great upgradeI’ve been very pleased with this app and, since the upgrade, enjoy it even more. I bought the pro version , before the upgrade. I needed advice about the subscription and the developer got back to me very quickly and sorted my issue. I was very impressed by their efficiency. I was also pleased that all my previous data was transferred to this app with no problems.Version: 3.0.16

Perfect! This app will never leave my phone!.Version: 4.2.8

Love it ....It gives u motivation. I have Multiple sclerosis. And find it hard to have the get up and go . But when. I c my daily steps it gives me the motivation to do more . My balance is bad on right side have to use a stick , now and then. Bur when I sometimes c how many I have done . I’m so proud of my self. I highly recommend this app easy enough to use 5 out of 5 for it ..Version: 3.11.3

Useful Health ToolThis is by far the best step app I have used. The results are easy to read and fully customisable to highlight what is important to you. A nice feature is that the step length can either be set automatically based on your height or manually if you measure it yourself. Also you can set yourself a manual daily target or have it automatically set for you. I love this app..Version: 3.4.0

❤️ itGreat app works well You can import your stats from your phone as the newer phones have this health app that I didn't know that I had was a nice surprise to have these stats highly recommended If you carry your phone in your hand or bag it still works. Great app..Version: 3.6.2

The best appDownload it 🤩.Version: 3.9.0

ReviewThis app is great. I’m very happy to have it and it helps me keep my activity up on a daily basis..Version: 4.4.0

Realistic & Favourite appThis app has never failed me... Where a lot of activity apps rely on mobile data this has never let me down.. Whilst walking in remote rural locations with difficult mobile signals this still captures data. I’ve used the app for just over four years & the development has all been a positive. I’ve tried others & run them parallel but they have all been deleted 👍🏻.Version: 3.5.1

Good for the soul.At the present I’m fare from my goal. Using STEPZ I’m sure without a doubt I will get back to my walking three miles a day. I had pneumonia and I’m recovering and that takes a lot out of you. But! I am not going to let that stop me from getting back to my 3 mile day walk. I am so happy to discover STEPZ. By the way, I’m 80 yrs. young. People always think I’m in my 50,s...60’s...I have been weight 🏋️‍♀️lifting Most of my life. After having pneumonia I have been able to do very little but now I am getting back into it and like I said, using STEPZ on my iPhone is a real encouragement to help me get this body back in shape. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿.Version: 3.11.6

Disappointed With UpdatesWhen the Stepz App was “updated” I lost data during the conversion. Now my Stepz App and Apple Health App are not synchronized (steps and mileage are different). Got the updated Stepz version, and I like the enhancements. Information is easy to use and readily available. However, the new version still doesn’t sync with Apple Health. I’m still enjoying the Stepz App. I’m still not sure which App is correct Stepz or Apple Health. I wish both had the same number of steps and miles. Trying to determine why I have 4,300 steps getting out of the bed this morning. I rebooted my app to reset it but it didn’t. Trying to determine my next action. Update on this app. It’s been very good since my last review. This app continues to provide good about my daily steps..Version: 4.5.0

Simple, accurateWhat more could you want? *** Update to the Update: I decided the benefits outweigh the downsides. I now have a premium (no ad) account and am back to loving it. The cost isn’t bad, but the need for it is irritating. *Update: I’ve had to lower my rating. Ever since the ads started, they completely take over and make it almost impossible to actually get to the actual app. The ads even have fake closing X that take you to the apps website so you have to go through the whole process again. It’s too bad, because this was a nice, simple, app to keep track of steps..Version: 4.2.0

TaskmasterAccurate, instructive and motivating. Thanks..Version: 4.2.8

Helpful AppThis is a great way to keep track of your casual walking. There is no need for an additional watch. I just use it when I carry my cellphone. I have used it for several years now..Version: 4.2.2

4 1/2 yearsMy steps data on this app is over four years. That's how long I've been using it. Over 4 million steps in a year. It’s either I’m stuck with the app or it’s really good. I’m happy with its development for that period of time. 4 1/2 years. Still going. 👍.Version: 3.5.1

Lots of features packed in and easy to useI’ve been using Stepz for about four months now and have found it to be perfect for my needs. It is recommended for iPhones and matches in with their health features. It is accurate and whilst I loved my smart watch it was not reliable at all, finally giving up and breaking down 6 months into a 12 month guarantee. I had several issues with it losing its data too. So I’m staying with Stepz and very satisfied with its performance ♥️.Version: 3.0.29

Great appHi peeps, Your app is helping to keep my fitness (and my sanity) during our second 4 week total lockdown in New Zealand. Thank you!.Version: 4.2.7

Very usefulI like this, as much as anything because it seems to be much more accurate and reliable than the default one. It updates almost in real time and was only four different when I counted several hundred steps. The Apple one not only almost always shows fewer steps than this one but the calculated distance is significantly less, often by as much as a third. I like being able to input my measured step length as well rather than having it estimated completely wrongly. All in all, I’m glad I found this one and am grateful to the developers who have done an excellent job..Version: 4.3.1

More help than I thought it would be.I really really love your app it helps me to know how many steps I’ve taken and the doctor likes to make sure I get at least 10,000 steps a day. Now for weight loss I am right now going for 15,000 steps a day. This app tells me how close I am getting or if I’m getting there or not, but I’m not gonna reset my goal for 15,000 steps a day, I’ll leave it at 10,000 steps a day, because that’s what the doctor requires. I am 67 years old with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Over the past (3) years since I started walking my lungs have gotten about 9% improvement overall. Better than the Dr. and myself thought it would be, and I can breathe much easier. For this I thank you very much for your app..Version: 3.11.9

Love this app!!I absolutely love this app!! I was given an Apple Watch series 3 for Christmas 2017, and I use the Stepz app everyday. It is extremely accurate & I enjoy the reminders & encouragement this app gives throughout the day to help me meet my daily fitness goals. This app is very easy to use and I love the graphs & different colors that make it easy to see my weekly & monthly progress. The integration with the Apple Health app is also a nice touch and makes it easy for me to share my progress with my friends & family who are keeping me accountable for my fitness goals. And you can’t beat the price...FREE!!...and there are no annoying advertisements either. I highly recommend this app as a necessity for anyone who wants an accurate record of their daily “Stepz” and fitness goals😀.Version: 2.3.1

Back to its bestHaving previously been critical of the widget changing to a pro feature and the amount of full screen apps the developer seems to have listened to feedback and acted upon this. The widget is back as a free feature and full screen ads seem lesser (some ads are fine, they have to make money I realise). Huge respect to the developer for listening to customers, far more inclined to go pro now! This app has returned to being the best activity tracking app on the App Store!.Version: 3.6.2

Try g tag tag Tu tryS can can xxz.Version: 4.2.8

Accurate and very easy to useVery accessible format. You can adjust your target steps, step length etc to make it as accurate as possible. Average data is also very easy to see. You can trick it (i.e. by shaking the phone) but it isn't fooled by bumps in train journeys etc, so I have found it to be accurate. I would take the calories burnt with a pinch of salt; this varies with your weight, the weight of what you are carrying, the terrain you are walking over and so on..Version: 2.2.1

What lovely little app!Easy to use, simple to set-up & fun to use. Set the front screen to show what's important to you. Use it while your away on your holiday, because chance are, you'll walk far more than you do at home! You might even be surprised to just how far you've actually walked!! You can set your own target for the day. This is a great little app, give it a try..Version: 4.7.0

AmazingLike the update, looks awesome now.Version: 4.3.3

StepzIt easy to use,I liked it.It does for me .And I enjoying using it,it keep me up to date with the app.Version: 3.11.6

It’s goodFound the app to be easy to read and accurate it’s helping me with my fitness level so I’d recommend it to anyone..Version: 3.11.10

Much easier than apple oneI thought with my new phone that the apple app was so complicated to understand let alone use I just gave up. My sumsung one was brilliant but this comes a close second and it is simple and easy. I would recommend it. I can see my step which is great and the calorie count is brilliant dear I say, it reminds you that you need to work harder to clear the debt of a small biscuit. Nevertheless, the down side is the old app use to allow you to change your stride which it doesn’t do now, which is a real negative for me. I guess it’s on the pay for version..Version: 4.6.0

AmazingI love this app it’s just that there’s one problem every time I turn my phone off the app just stops working so I never know how many steps I have done. Also I go to school and I’m not allowed my phone anywhere other than the class room turned off so I don’t know how many I have done in a day and I get why you can’t tell without the phone being with you but you should be able too. Thank you for taking your time to read this..Version: 2.4.1

Good but get rid of audio addsThe app is really good and appreciate the work you put into it we can put up with the visual adds but as soon audio adds come on we switch it off and start using the Apple app.Version: 3.11.9

Issues following latest updatePre the latest update , on average 10,000 steps was 4.9 mile and approx 480 calories however now as an example for today’s current position I’ve done 16,000 steps showing 6.1 miles and just 488 calories. So the issue is how the miles and calories are being incorrectly calculated against the number of steps which appear to be correct. Also on my history , example for 2018 it’s now been reduced by 300 miles..Version: 3.0.16

ReviewGreat app.Version: 4.3.3

👍🏼😃👌🏽Great App easy to read.Version: 3.6.2

Good but flawedI use the app most days to check progress towards weekly/monthly goals. On the whole it does a good job. There is one very annoying bug that on Saturday seems to remove all the Friday step data from the weekly monthly and yearly totals. It corrects itself by Sunday but for one day out of seven you are left in the dark as to how close you are to reaching your goals. Adverts sometimes make the app hang or sometimes it just hangs for no apparent reason. Your steps are still being counted in the background but will not increase in real time until you restart the app..Version: 3.11.7

Best step tracker I’ve used but a bit buggyThe upgrade delivered on 31st May 19 has a much better user interface than the previous update. However, nearly every day I need to reboot my iphone8 to get the app to reflect the previous day’s total into the totals for week, month or year or get the total columns to reflect the right colour - often showing totals in green when they should be amber. For instance today my totals for week & month respectively are 22k & 76k against target of 30k & 80k but columns are green instead of amber. In settings I have my daily target set at 10,000 steps. Rebooting my phone always corrects the bug so it’s just a bit annoying but nonetheless prevents me giving it 5 stars - I’d definitely miss having the app as I measure my progress several times a day and apart from the problem of it updating correctly overnight I enjoy using it,.Version: 3.11.10

Awesome! Simple and free...As above.Version: 4.2.0

StepdadMKSteps take the Guess Work out of Walking and really helps me to stay motivated.....Thankyou Love checking in everyday. Keeps me motivated MK.Version: 4.2.9

Subscription price wrongGuys, $2.79 per week is just too much. You will get many more people signing up if you drop the price. How much you may ask? I think $0.99 per week will get you a lot of traffic. Yani Doganoglu.Version: 4.3.1

Time zone issuesThe most current update has been a disappointment (I gave 5 stars to the previous version). Inaccuracy is a major concern - for example: traveling to the east coast, where it is 2 hours later than where I live, the app will duplicate the steps I had in the original time zone (thereby doubling my steps)but parking them 2 hours later. Example, if I had walked 3450 steps at 1:00 pm in Colorado, and then flew to New Hampshire where it’s two hours later - the app would then duplicate my 3450 steps at 3:00. This happens consistently wherever I travel. Local issues abound as well. Unexplained increases in my daily steps will happen in clusters - where I have walked 7k on Tuesday, 6k on Wednesday, and 8k on Thursday - but two days later all three of those totals suddenly are well above 10k each..Version: 3.5.2

Does the jobA good basic step counter app..Version: 1.4

Starting to use this againHey, Even though I stopped counting my steps, my app didn’t! So when I cracked 2500 steps today, I was able to look back and see that the last time I did that was Feb 23rd. The app is also able to encourage me by showing me my long term achievements. I’ve had it about 5 years (and MyStep before then) so it shows me that I’ve walked over 1m steps in total, had the rare 10,000 step day, and walked the entire coastline of Ireland. It also tells me I’d better remember my phone the next time I go on a walk (not always a given!) There are just a few drawbacks with this app. My biggest (okay, only) critique is that the navigation doesn’t make sense to me and it’s not easy to change my goal. Even though I’ve had it for so long, I still have to click several times to get to a place where it will change. Although that could be a connection issue? In which case I wish it would change right away and then update when there is connection. Either way, I can’t figure out how to change my goal today. But overall, great app..Version: 3.11.2

Useful if You are not too particular about dataStepz Is quite helpful as a motivational tool to move more. I particularly like that not only does it count steps but it counts how much of your day you are active. It’s not great that it overestimates one’s mileage by 20 to 25%, but it still useful as a relative comparison to what one has done before. My main problem with it is that it cannot distinguish between my physical movement and when I am driving my bobcat on my farm or using mass transit systems like the Paris metro, New York subway, or London underground. This problem really skews the validity of the data and ones over all records.u.Version: 3.5.1

Credit where it’s dueUpdated review, June 2019: The developer has gone a very long way to addressing all of the points below. While the app is still not as good as version 2, version 4 is a remarkable improvement over the last few months. Usability and readability are very much improved, and I can now safely say that I will give this app another chance. Load time is still slow and it doesn’t auto-update as well as other similar apps. I rated version 2 as 5 stars, version 3 as 1 star and I’m happy to give this a cautious 4 star rating for now. Prev review, March 2019: The Feb 2019 updates (and, yes, I am now on the 3.1.4 version) has removed everything that was good. The design choices have made the app unusable while in motion—tiny thin white fonts on pastel backgrounds can’t be read at a glance—and the single graph format which told you steps and distance within the current hour and let you pick a header with your most useful other stats has gone in favour of 10 separate pastel graphs which provide no additional insight. Import/export functions have been removed. Weekly averages have been removed. It crashes constantly. When it doesn’t crash, it overestimates the number of steps I’ve taken and gives me credit for moving while the phone is sitting on my desk. Removing stride length has made a mockery of distance calculations. Using GPS, I walked 2km this morning. The app thinks I’ve travelled 3.2km. Truly an appalling backwards step..Version: 3.3.1

Great app!Does what it says, nice graphics to view your progress.Version: 2.0

Great but very expensive for family useI have been using Stepz for over a year. It’s better than the iPhone app. It wasn’t expensive as a one-off purchase and had family sharing. When my wife bought her iPhone 11 she tried it and now I’m being billed $3.49 per week. It’s not worth nearly $160 per year..Version: 3.9.0

Great app for casual goal setting and analysisThis app is super helpful in keeping track of my steps across multiple years and phones.Version: 4.2.5

Colin MacGrawExcellent. Love using it. Find it much more reliable and stable compared to other devices on the market. I continue to use it with great success . Its currently helping me lose weight ..Version: 3.11.7

Accumulating totals? What has happened to the former accumulating totals that we use to have? We are told to wait basically all day whilst you collect the information which we more often than not receive until next morning. Yesterday day, for example, I did over 9,300 but did not know until this morning. If I had known last evening I would have completed the rest to reach my goal of 10,000. Please advise what has gone wrong? Patrick It is an excellent facility which I’m only sorry to have switch off when I’m charging my iPhone so I lose recording steps during that time. I have to make sure that I get don’t overcharge it and ruin that battery. Thank you all! Patrick This excellent facility keeps me on my toes even while shielding as I’m over 82 years old. I do more than the recorded daily total when charging my iPhone which is not obviously included. I really don’t know how to overcome this omission. Dear All I have nothing to add to what is already an excellent service. I cannot think of anything to suggest an improvement. Please keep it up and improve where you think fit. By the way, thank you! Patrick I love it. I cannot think of anything to add or suggest to improve what is already excellent. Just keep going as took are. Patrick.Version: 4.8.0

Why?Why does this app tell me I’ve reached my daily step goal first thing in the morning when my feet have hardly touched the floor? Also when I’ve been sitting on the couch for a length of time? Weird..Version: 4.2.7

Easy and friendlyNever a problem. Virtually set and forget and it is always there when desired..Version: 3.11.12

App is great againI gave the app a low rating some time back when they took away the option to set your own stride length. I’m glad to see that problem has been fixed and the app is at easy five stars. Thank you!.Version: 3.11.6

Excellent! This app has encouraged me to walk more. It is very easy and fun to use. I like all the milestones it tracks and the weekly averages help keep me focused. Wish the app is able to calculate cycling distance.Version: 4.4.2

Best app usedTried many but Stepz seems the most reliable and accurate steps app I have found. Love all the other values too like height and energy and my friends have changed to it..Version: 2.2.1

AmazingA must have app. No more driving when I can walk. Always striving to reach my next goal. This is a fun and useful app. I would not be without it. It is keeping me fit and saving me on fuel costs. Highly recommend this app but it would be good if you remove the weekly average out of the top right hand corner it is annoying and could be hidden somewhere It detracts from the beauty of the app.Version: 3.5.0

PerfectThis great little app is perfect for my needs. I like that it's not linked to go a. Another one I tried was logging my driving too!!!.Version: 2.2.1

A nice little appGives you a good idea of where your targets should be step wise, and useful for those with a specific target for fitness..Version: 4.1.0

Ver Good But It Could Be GreatUse this every day to track my steps, I think it’s basically accurate and the display is nice 2 frustrations. One, traveling across time zones completely screws it up, for some reason it ends up significantly inflating the steps on every day I’m gone. This problem did not exist until the last update. Two, this could be so much better with better fun features, ie if it rewarded streaks of hitting your goal or tracked the date and number of times you hit a particular big day line 25,000 or enabled you to compete with other anonymous users in your area..Version: 3.7.0

Works without thinking about itFour stars! (Five is reserved for the app which predicts the winning lottery number.) Following a recent heart attack I now monitor a number of health-related metrics routinely: weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, percent oxygen saturation, heart rate, EKG, … in addition to nutrition information. I wear my Apple Watch pretty much non-stop, except when charging. I don’t consciously keep track of my activity. I like that the watch app detects and asks whether I want to record activity as an outdoor walk, which often it is. Later, the data collected syncs with my phone and is aggregated with the other health data that I consciously track, for subsequent analysis..Version: 4.4.2

Not working properlyHi I have just been for along walk and the step counter had not been near enough accurate. Should read at least 5.000 steps only reading about 2.400. How do I get it back on track.Version: 3.7.0

User friendlyLove this app. It is so easy to set up your information and choose a goal. Easy to see progress and seems accurate..Version: 2.2.1

Great job!Since I started using your app I’ve lost the weight I was trying too lose. I was at almost 200 pounds and I set my mind too get down too my BMI of 165. I accomplished that goal in April when my doctor saw I was at 160. I told him I wanted too get now too 145 and he said no. He told me I was at my ideal weight. I still watch how many steps I walk every day with your app and at least I know I can keep track as too maintain a somewhat consistent schedule even though I still want too lose more weight. I like too challenge myself too walk those extra steps. I look at the app everyday and try too set goals too beat my previous steps from the day before. Now that I’m at my ideal weight at least I know I can stay persistent by keeping track of how many miles I’ve walked in one days time by looking at the app. Each day, marks a new beginning, a new challenge of trying too always do better too stay healthy. Don’t ever give up having this app. I don’t want too be buying a pedometer too wear on my belt..Version: 4.2.5

I. Love. This. App!!Fantastic tool that helps you think about activity level. Please, please, please add a note option on days so we can note what the circumstances were that influenced the outcome..Version: 2.4.1

Good but occasional odd countingI enjoy using many aspects of the app - step counter, activity time, following the “achievements”, and find it is generally accurate, however, I have noticed that on occasion the steps counted increases a day or two later for the preceding few days. I am not sure if this relates to a day when I have done significantly more than my usual numbers of steps. This is disappointing as it inflates what I have done after the event. Otherwise I find the app helpful, easy to use and enjoyable. Particularly the most recent upgrade. Thank you.Version: 3.6.0

JeffGreat app, easy to use.Version: 2.4.1

Pretty GoodIt keeps track of my steps. The new updates is nice. I like it when companies update and freshen up the UI. This app has bugs though. Sometimes the colors are wrong. If I reach my daily goal, sometimes the goal bar will still be orange or even red. I have to shutdown the app and restart it to get it correct. Another even worse bug is when traveling across time zones, such as in a flight from one end of the country to another. On these days of travel, I will get doubled entries on the time graph, and my daily step count is doubled - so strange. On a recent trip, it doubled my step going out, and on the day of my trip back, the steps were doubled again. And now those bogus days with the doubled steps are forever in the history..Version: 3.3.0

StepzI find this app very helpful. It keeps me motivated to walk and then walk some more.Version: 4.6.0

IssueHi, I’m been using this app for many years - I find it the best and easiest to use - I would have nearly 5 yrs of data I have recommended the app to many friends However on 22nd March 2020 just as the pandemic was taking hold around the world a glitch occurred - today date after many many attempts to reinstall - restore my purchase & data No success I’ve lost all my badges awards and daily records & data Is there anything to restore my history Regards Gary.Version: 3.11.10

AwesomeBeen using this app for years now never had any problems ! I am using it to hit my goals for weight lose in the exercise / walking that I am doing. It’s nice and easy to use and you get little medals along the way saying how far you’ve walked in total and to what country you’d have walked to in that distance which is pretty cool ! Defiantly recommend for anyone who wants to track there walking in distance and amount of steps taken daily.Version: 3.11.12

MotivatingThanks.Version: 3.11.3

Excellent app. For steps countedI find Stepz to be excellent for counting the number of steps I walk each 24 hours. I love being able to see several days at a glance and a complete history whenever you want can be looked at. There are other functions that I don't use as much but I got this app to primarily count my daily steps. I wish I could say that it is accurate in converting steps to miles or Kilometers but I am not sure it is any more or less accurate than any of the apps for that. I love the interface and this is my app of choice..Version: 4.7.0

Slouch, couch grouch! With L4/L5,L5/S1,S1/S2 & S2/S3 wasted; my back is pretty much history. However, lounging around in bed or the couch all day, has lead to some severe muscle atrophication. I need to build it up, with regular exercise/walking. This app is the duck’s guts, PROVIDED your phone is switched on. Otherwise it won’t record Jack. Also it won’t allow targets less than 3,000steps to be set. I’m lucky to get that distance in three days. Great app, minor quirks. Fix ‘em and it’ll be FANTASTIC!.Version: 2.4.1

I guess it’s fun but it could be betterFirst of all, Stepz is certainly not a bad app. I love how to is so useful when I want to manage my calories and steps without a watch on me. But the only thing I would love to change is that I don’t have to be a pro to use the widget on my home screen. That would be wayyyy more helpful. Anyways great app and I recommend it!.Version: 3.8.0

My trackingActually I didn’t realize that my wife had put Stepz on my phone until one day I was strolling through it and saw the icon. I clicked on it and saw that it had been keeping up a log on me. Every since that moment I have been motivated to challenge myself to do more. I truly love this app. Dr. M Michael B McGuire a loyal user of Stepz Since I’m using Stepz now I’m more motivated to do more walking. I’m an 100% Disabled Vetnam Veteran and a few years ago I couldn’t even walk. Now I’m able too walk I’ve been loosing weight. I was 376 pounds now I am 298. Stepz is motivation for me to reach my goal of 200 pounds. Everyone needs the Stepz App . Dr. M Michael B McGuire a loyal user of Stepz.Version: 4.2.7

Just the job.I love this App. Does everything I need to track my steps, miles walked and calories. Also keeps records to check progress. Even paid 99p to get rid of the ads which I would not normally do but I am impressed with simplicity of this app. Only wish it was possible to check heart rate but not possible with an iPhone, cannot wrap around my wrist I am afraid..Version: 2.2.1

Definitely would recommendAwesome app and really useful. Would really recommend for anyone wanting to know about their daily record..Version: 3.8.3

Got you up walking and kept you going dailySimple App yet it keeps you up to walk more and you will wanted to. Great App..Version: 4.3.0

DanielAwesome App😊😊.Version: 3.11.12

Practically perfectI really love this app and have used it for a few years now. It’s easy to use and pretty accurate - and as a free app it does all the basics . Three months ago I’d have given it 5* review but recently I’ve noticed more ads popping up with increasing regularity ; this bugs me. And as I don’t carry my phone with me everywhere I sometimes feel a bit cheated by my step count at the end of the day. It’d be great on a watch but I don’t have one of those... If a technophobe like me can use it anybody can ..Version: 3.7.0

StepsVery good Very good 😌 !!!.Version: 4.4.0

ThanksLove it use it every day.Version: 4.4.2

A definite advantageI love this app. I use it all the time and think it’s terrific because you don’t need to turn it on - it’s always running in the background..Version: 3.10.1

Much better than FitbitIf all you need is to count steps and calories, this serves the purpose quite well. My Fitbit is gathering dust in the drawer..Version: 2.2.1

I love this appHave been using the app for 5 years and get great satisfaction and motivation from it. Being a guy my phone stays in my pocket so I get full advantage. Only negative is when we go overseas the app gets a little crazy but simply fixed by reimporting from the I phone health data..Version: 3.6.2

New phoneI have been using stepz for a while now. I recently upgraded my phone. I reinstalled the stepz app to find no sign in option. Or maybe I overlooked it. Idk. Went threw the steps to get to a part that says I have to pay. What!!! I just want to sign in get my progress from my old phone and be done. Using this app was helpful in tracking my progress daily. But I guess that instead of using this app I’m gonna move on to another. Sometimes things are better left unchanged. Why can’t things be easy. 😩 The only reason I’m giving you 4⭐️ is because of how useful this app use to be. Now it’s a 1 ⭐️ nobody wants to pay for something they’ve been getting for free. Plus the issues stated above. So bye bye stepz..Version: 3.0.29

Love it because it is so accurateThanks.Version: 3.11.7

Good Tech . . .The ability of this step app to record steps, distance, and calories burned is impressive. Daily accrual of distance soon paints a picture of walking/hiking habits and can work as incentive to increase frequency and intensity of efforts. The UI is frustrating occasionally when you go to check status or progress on an effort and somehow you’ve changed to some accrued miles—over days, months, or year—mode. I still dont know how to change back to daily mode, which is frustrating. Default mode Return should be the most prominent button/toggle..Version: 3.11.12

TiareLove it.Version: 3.11.12

Review on free week love it and use it dailyLove this App, keeps me motivated to walk and to try to out do the previous weeks and days.Version: 4.5.0

ThanksEvery day I try to gain my goal with the help of stepz. جزا کُمُ اللّٰہ تعا لیٰ واحسن الچزاء Thanks. Stepz.Version: 4.2.5

Great little appI’ve been using this step counter app for a year and a half. I got it to help build my stamina and motivation during a campaign to improve my health (and my dog’s). It helped me go from a slow, reluctant drag around the block to multiple avid daily walks, from one block to five miles. I even hit several seven mile days! I lost twenty pounds , and the dog lost a few too. One month ago I received a total knee replacement. The strength and muscles I gained using this app allowed me to face rehabilitation with determination and quick recovery. If you couple this app with a good dog and an audio book you will be on track to develop a fitness routine that will improve your life..Version: 3.11.12

Excellent accompagnateurMerci.Version: 4.6.0

Very encouraging and .I love it. Thanks I am 83years old. I’ve been doing it for years, maybe a bit slower, It encourages me to reach my goal not that I always do but thanks to your people. It keeps me going. 👍👍.Version: 4.7.0

BertrandTrès bien.Version: 4.6.0

It’s okI like this app but steps are not accurate. I’ve just woken up and I went to sleep before midnight (and before my step count restarted) and it says I’ve done 20 steps already lol. Im not sure how it compares to other similar apps which is why I’ve given it a 4-star as I have no other issues with it..Version: 3.11.12

StepzLove this app really helps keep track of how much activity your doing..Version: 4.2.0

Excellent for tracking progressData is kept so that one can keep track of the progress being made.Version: 4.5.0

Why is the health step count different to the Stepz step count? The Apple Watch activity app step count, the Health app step count and the Stepz step count are all different. Should I really do 500 more steps to reach my goal on Stepz or be satisfied by exceeding it on the Apple Watch activity app?.Version: 2.4.1

StepsI recommend this app, I found with my morning run it gives me the correct steps counting recommended to all user..Version: 3.11.2

StepsI appreciate your app I use it every day. Thank you.Version: 4.2.8

B baI am so grateful to count my steps after breaking my knees. Stepz is a part of my recovery!.Version: 4.2.5

Great appLove this app as it helps me to know how I’m doing with exercise. I have a disability and can’t walk far so this apps makes me Walk a little further during the day than I usually do..Version: 2.3

Favorite so farI wanted a simple app that tracked my steps, that was really all I wanted. I found that most of the apps are way more complicated than they needed to be and I found myself saying “I don’t have time for all of this.....” Stepz is exactly what I was looking for. It tracks my Stepz and it’s a very simple layout , I don’t find myself searching on the screen for “steps” or “tracker”..... the information is there and and there isn’t unnecessary complications involved that get me more frustrated than anything ...... so with no issues and the fact that I am satisfied with the content , I have no reason to go looking any further .... it’s perfect for me.Version: 2.3.1

Больше всего пользуюсьПросто и круто. Ничего лишнего. Все что нужно знать. У меня стоит около 10 приложений такого рода. А выбрал и пользуюсь только двумя - это,- одно из них.Version: 4.2.8

StepzI have tried several systems most of which are a bit complex to understand (I guess designed for athletes )or don’t quite show what I need which in my case is simply distance traveled Stepz is easy to understand keeps a continuous record and clearly shows daily statistics One thing I would like to see is a way of zeroing distance from a given point say 1st jan each year then showing total distance Anyway I really like Stepz so thanks to you for putting the effort in to develop it.Version: 3.4.0

One of my all time favoritesI love this app. It keeps me on track to achieve my daily walking goals. If I get to the end of the day and I’m short of my goal, I’m highly motivated to get in the remainder of my steps. I find it to be accurate and the color coding makes it easy to tell where I am in reaching my goal even if I’m not wearing my reading glasses. And I appreciate the fact that I can look at daily, monthly and yearly cumulative steps. I like setting new and higher goals and sharing my progress with other walkers in my family. I have a fit bit but I find that I don’t like it as much as this app. And don’t use the fit bit nearly as much as I use thus app. I never leave to go walking without it. Thanks so much for designing this app..Version: 3.11.5

Love thisMotivational.Version: 3.11.5

FANTASTIC APP!!!Downloaded this on my girly holiday to Barcelona and we managed to do a minimum of 10,000 steps each day! We even did 28k steps on one of the days :D The app is very motivating and exactly what we needed whilst we were away. It even got to the point where we went for an evening walk when we had 8.5k steps, just so we were able to get the extra 1.5k steps before midnight haha. I would HIGHLY recommend!.Version: 2.2.1

VvxxZ.Version: 3.11.5

StepzThe app is fun to use. It took me a while to discover the weekly, monthly and yearly totals. It’s great to have the comparisons..Version: 4.4.0

This app is great. 🤙🚶‍♀️Does exactly what it proclaims. Allows for me to keep an eye on the family steps, as well as myself. Only thing I would also like is for the automatic step target to be able to calculate over 10,000, as many of my friends, including myself walk double this a day. Would be great if it could keep pushing the limits. Maybe next update, please. 👏🙏.Version: 2.3.1

Accuracy and easy StepzezExcellent Ap I check several times to see how far from my goal during day. Very accurate as well as I check how much distance walked versus record. Have got it loaded both on Phone and watch.Version: 3.11.9

Really Good overall.Nice and simple to use. On flat ground, accurate, (if not, you can adjust the measurement of your step) but looses accuracy on rough ground - coastal walks etc. When taking shorter steps & elevation is involved. I'm not sure how that could be measured though. It would be nice if the time you started walking was recorded in quarter hour sections, rather than on the hour only. Overall though, good app. 😎.Version: 2.2.1

WorthyHelps me to achieve my daily step goals.Version: 4.2.8

NDI’ve been using this app on my iPhone since 2014, at that time, I wasn’t aware of any other app which counted my steps while walking and I was very happy with “stepz”, however with time I received an Apple Watch from my dad and I had now access to other apps too, yet I still check my “Stepz” before checking other apps and it’s become even more precise than before, so thank you to the developers, whom I don’t know who they are and keep up with your wonderful work 🍀🍀🍀.Version: 4.7.1

Great but could be betterWorks great. Would be better if workouts could be trimmed if you forget to stop the recording..Version: 4.3.1

Happy walkerHi team, I’ve been enjoying your app since I think 2015 and always feel better for the exercise and even better to have a measuring tool that I don’t have to stop and start every time I want to use it. How it splits into day, week, month and years is a feature I rate very much too. It (Stepz) encourages me to get my walking boots on when I don’t always feel like it. I hope to enjoy your App for many more years and would like to thank the whole team for all your time and effort to make Stepz one of my favourite apps. Thank you all, Lydia.Version: 3.11.8

ExcellentThis is a great app and I check it every day. My only issue now is they’ve stopped displaying the full amount of steps year to date which is annoying as I set a yearly goal and it means I have to add up each month instead of just having it shown to me. What’s most annoying is this is only a recent change and wasn’t that way a month ago Update: now it does show steps year to date and I have 0 issues with this app.Version: 3.11.10

High motivation toolI ‘m a 71 year old woman who has two bad knees and who finds it difficult to walk. I was also fearful of walking outside and roaming too far from my home. I recently started using the step tracker and have found it to be a wonderful motivational tool. I started by walking around the inside of my house before I ventured outside, but to my surprise, I’m almost up to walking 3 miles theses days. Now instead of obsessing about eating junk food in the evening, I obsess about making or exceeding my steps each day. I love the app and check it numerous times during the day. I highly recommend it to everyone but especially to older adults who need motivation to move more..Version: 3.11.6

What I neededGot Apple Watch but seemed complicated and really just wanted to make sure doing enough steps. Found it counts steps really accurately- as far as can tell - although shows more than is shown on my iPhone Apple Watch. Think it is because Watch measures exercise as well whereas stepz just shows my steps (which is all I am doing anyway) so faster steps taken as exercise by Watch. It is encouraging and definitely taking stairs and walking that little bit further so I beat my goals. 😊.Version: 2.2.1

ReviewAbsolugte shambles after using happily for4+ years ... ghgrrrr Now fixed ... thanks for assistance.Version: 3.7.0

Great AppLove the app, gives me plenty of motivation to stay fit. One improvement that would great is under Achievements section on Steps per Day is to display the number of times you have achieved say 20K steps..Version: 2.2.1

Stepz App is life changer !I had been looking around at the various Fitness Trackers but didn’t want to wear some ugly, complicated device! My brother recommended The Stepz App. Wow! What a life changer for me. When I installed it , It came up with historical data going back weeks showing the steps I’ve done each day. What a shock! Basically it showed that I was sitting on my backside all day! Not anymore! Since I’ve installed the App I’ve set my self goals to achieve each day . I can’t recommend this App highly enough. Oh , and it’s free! Fantastic 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️😊👍.Version: 2.4.1

Good app but the steps are increased for no reason when I change time zones.I like that the app works away in background, I don’t need to switch it on or off so I never miss steps. I’d like to see a location facility that maps my route and allows me to name where I am taking my walk. I don’t understand why the steps that I’ve taken in the previous week are increased whenever I move time zone. It means o can’t look back accurately at my holiday steps which are always my personal bests. Anything I can do to prevent that please? Thanks..Version: 3.11.8

Easy to UseEasy to use and understand. Good historical view for monitoring trends with lifestyle changes Needs kJ option for energy and not just Calories. A display that averages hour the same hour of the day across walking history to see time of day trends. Something similar for days of the week would be cool too..Version: 4.2.1

Great app for anyone walkingThis app is really good for giving you stats without you having to think about it. Good for motivation as well.Version: 4.3.3

StepzGreat for keeping track of your activity through each week.Version: 4.2.4

StepzWonderful app. 😃 Keeps me up to date in doing at least 10k stepz each day & gives me current & historic info on total steps, kilometres walked & calories used for each week, month & year. .... fantastic to use & certainly highly recommend. 👍.Version: 4.2.1

Happy enough!Does exactly what I need it to do! Have enjoyed being able to track just how many steps I take in a day, such a small thing is taken for granted!.Version: 2.3.1

I’m hooked!I’m an old timer who didn’t get my first smart phone until 2017. I downloaded this app soon after because I walk everywhere I go and didn’t know Apple health tracked my steps. I’m glad I was ignorant because I really like this app. Although health has some useful info, this is my go to. A favorite feature is the color bars on each hour, which brings me to my suggestion for an improvement. It took me awhile to figure out that I’d get the green after I did 1/24th of my goal total. It seems it would make more sense if it was 1/16th instead of 1/24th, since we can’t earn steps while we’re sleeping. It would be great if that were an option. Thanks.Version: 3.11.12

Stepz you can count onLove my Fitbit surge but too many bracelets on my arms. I have a Apple Watch and want to move away from the Surge. I have been looking for apps that provide me with the info I need. Stepz provide me with the info I want. Uses Health Apple app for syncing steps to the app. It has various info you can display about your stepz, how many more steps to meet your goal, calories burned, average steps over time. Long story short get this application if you want to count your steps then this is the one. One option is to see your steps without opening the app, shows steps much like unopened mail on the top right of the application icon. You can also use the watch dock so you can have your steps easily seen. Update: nice if Apple Watch could show your Stepz progress on the face of the watch..Version: 3.5.3

Very helpfulStepz has helped me become more conscious of what walking I do and how little that is at times. It enabled me to set small goals and become gradually more active. And it also when I was not well as this makes me walk less.Version: 4.6.0

Works well - widget very handyGood app - graphs and history very good.Version: 2.0
