Anyway overall I think it’s a great app for selling art, and I enjoy the features on the app, I can track how many orders I got this month and compare it to last month and such so that's handy! ✓ Calling the creative collective, scrap Shopify!This is by far the best shopping platform I’ve used for commerce without the expense of website upkeep, domain rental and server hosting costs etc. I’ve done it every way and found Etsy selling to be the most effective. When I get to the post office, I have all the info I need on my phone to send my customer packages. I can update listings, upload photos & check my stock. ✓ Easy to use but improvement neededIt’s easy to use and figure out compared to other apps for selling. However, when you try to remove an item for example from pattern options on a listing you no longer have in stock it just freezes and kicks you out of the app. I’m then having issues because I wish to remove older photos of items I’ve no longer got in stock and cannot do this because of not being able to remove the listing option as it then tells you there’s a photo missing (I link the options with photos) otherwise, great app but this really needs fixing ! :).Version: 3.53
✓ Orders not appearing on open orders listI do love Etsy, and it has changed the way I do business. BUT recently orders coming in from customers have not been going on my ‘open orders’ list. This means after fulfilling my order, I cannot mark the order as dispatched, so presumably will not paid for the order I have found that if I delete the app, and re download, that the order now appears in ‘ open order’ so I can proceed as normal. I am also able to print directly from the app for customer receipts and invoices meaning i keep a track of orders quicker than if i had to log in all the time to my laptop. ✓ One-stop seller app for EtsyThis is a great app, and I wouldn’t be without it. I can do everything on this app; in fact I rarely use my laptop to work on my shop. I like the way that the app team continue to innovate and add new features, without getting rid of the old ones. So for instance the most useful recent feature has been that you can now pay your shop bill using the app. There is a lot of innovation going on, sometimes things don’t work so well, but it does seem that the developers are fairly responsive to comments and queries and if something doesn’t work very well it is adjusted or fixed. ✓ Genuinely surprised about the low reviewsI never shopped on Etsy or ever opened one. But I really want to do selling and make a side income. I down loaded both apps the Etsy & Etsy seller. Upon listing as a seller the very next day I had someone purchase & it’s been going pretty well so far. I haven’t had a problem selling & printing labels & talking to buyers. Everything has been going very smoothly. Payments are weekly. Sales & ads work well. Overall very happy. Side note: IF You’re someone that’s REALLY wants to try to do selling/ make passive income, and have no experience / nervous to do it at first (like me) I recommend you just go for it and learn a long the way it might be one of your best decisions. My one main criticism of the app is that although you can complete full listings from your phone, you still can’t upload video. I end up sending customers videos who request them of large items as it’s just too problematic to take quality videos on your phone, download to laptop and then upload. The majority of features are available on the app, only a few need the laptop or desktop site. ✓ Awesome for Sellers!It’s missing some things you need to do on the desktop or safari version, but it’s awesome!!! I love the stats, views, faves, it shows. I also like that it gives you tips and tricks to build your Etsy business. It’s really cool that they are making sure that your business thrives in as many ways as possible. It has some glitches on the phone- like the “variations.” If you “copy” an item for making a similar listing pastor, it is hard to change the variations without the app freezing. So the only way I have found around that without losing all my work on the listing is making sure I complete all of the other information on the new listing (that I copied) and “saving it as a draft.” Then I go back into that listing and delete that old variation and create a new variation, just a heads up..Version: 3.53

I created my shop in the 2020 lockdown and it gave me something to look forward to and pass the days as I was made furlough. It helped me create a little more income as well as keep me mentally stable 😅 My main annoyance is when you create a listing, if you accidentally swipe down, it’ll disappear and you’ll have to start again. It’s just a little blip but rather annoying when you’ve nearly finished the listing! And secondary (although I know this isn’t related to the app) I wish the seller fees would decrease again. I pretty much run my entire furniture business from my iPhone and I only occasionally have to use my laptop with updating one or two features which don’t show on the phone. My phone is always in my pocket so I have instant access to my customer queries, right in my workshop, which results in more sales. Etsy is a brilliant platform to sell on as far as I’m concerned and unlike other selling platforms, they do not charge extortionate fees. They also offer excellent reporting and statistics showing traffic flow and where my views & my customers are coming from. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks Etsy! ✓ Digital Artist CreativesI’ve been a Etsy Seller for a few months now. It’s a great place to start if you’re creative or crafty. I believe it makes it simple for my customers to order. Whether you’re selling digitals, prints, and other handmade things. I 5 out of 5 recommend Etsy. The only thing I can think of they could improve on is the shipping section for people who create things digitally, like myself. When I finish a digital drawing for someone I have to go through the process as if I’m shipping a actual item. And on the customers end I hate for them to receive notifications about the order being shipped etc. Kinda annoying but I’m still learning just a heads up for digital art creators..Version: 3.53

Sometimes customers can be a bit of a pain where they have received their parcel and say they haven’t and also try to complain so I give them a refund.. ✓ A few thingsOverall, a very handy little app. But.. I used to post shop updates all the time, but then suddenly the option has disappeared. It was very convenient and a perfect way to reach out to existing and potential customers..but for the life of me, this function cannot be found anymore. Sometimes, the ‘visitor’ count I am not sure if I can rely on, because it sounds a little off and cannot be tracked/explained. I would also like to be able to have a ‘partial refund’ option available on the app, and not just the desktop site. Not that I have a lot of refunds to make, my shop doesn’t offer them in the first place, just happens sometimes that some of the shipping cost needs to be refunded back to the customer. Also, the billing-I can always pay the fees other ways, but would be helpful to have it at the touch of a button on Sell on Etsy. Would be convenient to have it all in one place. ✓ Powerful app if you use it correctlyI use this app all day ever day and have found it to be a “must have” on all devices. I primarily use it to get quick access to shop data - essentially all the data you can see on a browser around site traffic, orders, marketing campaigns, etc...very helpful if you want a quick snapshot of open orders, number of conversations, traffic for the day, etc. I’ve also used it to modify listing titles, tags, descriptions, prices, promoted bids, etc. That said, if you’re going to be building out new listings or modifying shipping profiles I would recommend sticking with your PC - I don’t think this app is built to help you truly design/build your your shop and listings, but it’s a great supplement to your browser tools. The app also has nice notifications for new orders, shop favorites, conversations, etc. Great widget for immediate access to data, which i’m addicted to. Two items on my wishlist for the app... 1) I would like to have different notification sounds for conversations vs. shop favorites and listing favorites - right now I they all default to one notification sound. 2) once or twice a week my widget will stop working and tell me to “sign in” despite me being signed into the app, or signing out/back in. Only solution I have found is to delete the app and re-download from app store - a bit of a pain. Not sure why this is happening? Thanks Etsy!.Version: 3.10

✓ Useful!The app isn’t perfect. Often my daily stats fluctuate up and down, so that’s not overly reliable. However, being able to pay bills, have an instant notification when someone buys from me, messages me or favourites an item is super useful and helps me keep on top of things. You can still do shop updates, its just hidden away a bit in the menu. The only improvement I would like to see is being able to print off the order page with the coupon from the app - currently all I can print is the “receipt” which isn’t the same. ✓ Great app but could use some tweakingAs a small business owner I can appreciate the simplicity of this app, it’s made keeping track of orders and making new listings very easy, however I have found it a bit frustrating when creating a new listing I will review photos and whatnot then out of habit, swipe down when I’m done viewing photos, the issue however in this case is that nothing is automatically saved and will take me back to my active listings, when I go back into my listing I had been working on I have found that all my progress has been deleted and not saved whatsoever which can be very upsetting especially when I had committed 20 minutes to writing a description + decided on pricings etc. I really do enjoy this app and this is the only issue I’ve had so to have it fixed in one way or another would be amazing!.Version: 4.2.2

✓ Happy SellerI have no problems on selling with ETSY, i just wished there was a telephone number we could call rather then talking to a bot who does not understand. I also would like to point out to Etsy stop pushing for having to buy their postage labels. Etsy gets a discount from Royal Mail in the UK. Unfortunately when going to the postoffice we still have to pay the extra or original price for them to take it over the counter and give us proof of postage. Etsy needs to make sure that all buyers have a registered address from the country they order. I have had to cancel out three order as the had UK postage on the ticket but wanted it shipped to the USA. How is this possible. I would like to down load the new app unfortunately its in portrait on my IPAD only. I need it in Landscape so i can use my QWERTY keyboard. Something you may want to look in as I am not the only one who has this or other Similar problems. Other then that I am happy to continue selling on etsy. ✓ Happy sellerEtsy wants you to succeed. There’s so many resources available and they will nudge you in the right direction to get more sales and to bring customers your way. I’ve been running my small business off of Etsy since 2018 and every year my business grows more and more, something I can easily see with the stats available right at the front of this app. I can organize my orders, message customers, and read reviews perfectly with this. For the first few months I used to just go off of emails. The emails I receive are still important (especially the ones alerting me that I’ve made a sell), but downloading this app has made everything much easier for me. If it weren’t for Etsy I don’t think I would have ever started my business, let alone be as successful as I feel I have been. This app is extremely user friendly, if you’re just starting you can take it at your own pace. There’s so many handy dandy features. For example, you can set your shop in a temporary vacation mode for when you’re out of town or unable to do orders.
