✓ Better than Excel?TL;DR: Excel is the same app as this. Save your money. 3 years since v5 release with no user guide. I’m a newly returning table top gamer after decades of inactivity. I had been introduced to a different application during my first session. That application really helped but I wanted something a little more full featured. I really hoped this was is it. It’s not. Even after downloading the templates it’s still a lot of manual entry and data manipulation. Hoping this was just an error on my part I tried to find the user guide. The side said it was coming soon for v5 so I looked at v4 user guide. Which was no help. Decided to check app version history to see when v5 came out... over 3 years ago. It’s been 3 years and no user guide on how to use the application. At $8 a pop a user guide release within 3 months of a major version release should be expected at a near minimum. This isn’t some freebie app where you get what you can since it’s free..Version: 5.8.3
✓ MehThe app is ok if you want to write a generic space marine army list say, but if you want to write a specific space wolves one there is no way to just include units for just space wolves armies and no way to include frost weapons for squad sergeants and the like. Not really worth the asking price to be honest. Unless some can tell me I’m doing it all wrong get battle scribe.Version: 5.5.3
✓ LearningFiguring it out. Make sure you download every section for your game system. That enables the lists to populate. Don’t just grab the top headline thinking it includes everything else..Version: 5.8.8
✓ Really disappointedDownloaded this app to use for Necromunda and it is not intuitive or user friendly at all. There is also no user guide available which is also incredibly frustrating and lazy for a product that requires an up front fee. A serious waste of money!!!.Version: 5.8.5

✓ Too slow to updateI would give this more stars... I love the interface. It’s user friendly and the ability to easily edit it is awesome. However it’s updates are soooooooo far behind, I’m wondering if they are even working on it anymore. The space marine codex came out last fall and as of this they have not updated it to include it. It is about 6-8 months behind in updates. I prefer Quartermaster to BattleScribe but, if I can’t use it the point is moot. Very disappointed for the money I paid for it..Version: 5.8.5
✓ Useful app but needs workSince updating to the new version I was disappointed at how often the app crashes. It has also deleted army lists that contained parentheses in the list name. Finally the app just flat out tells you that list publication is not supported yet. Seriously? I paid for an app that has less functionality than the old version? This app as it stands now is not good but could be good if the bugs and missing features are addressed..Version: 5.1.6
✓ DowngradeSo we abandoned the old quartermaster for quartermaster 5, and all that really seems to have changed is that we can no longer edit army templates. What a waste of time..Version: 5.0.2
✓ Nice app but missing HH dataFor being paid, I was hoping all HH data would be readily available,but it seems the exemplary and legacy units have yet to be added. Once these are added app rating would be a 4 or 5..Version: 5.8.9
✓ Very Unhappy With Version 6Editing and creating lists is now an absolute chore, either I need a tutorial video on how to use this version or simple list creation tools, like copying an entire list to edit and rename, are impossible now. Printing off an army list used to be great, the army list was beautiful and had as much detail as the list creator wanted to program in. Now the army lists are plain and may as well be a plain Word document. If there isn’t an option to go back to Version 5 I am probably dropping this app altogether..Version: 6.0.5
✓ Recent update has problemsI love(d) this app, but with the most recent update, I’m not able to download any system or faction templates. I just keep getting an “import failed” error message..Version: 5.8.1
✓ MehNot a fan. Doesn’t separate legion specific items, just throws it all together. Bugged out on me and left me with no faction data. Only thing I can say is they did get the HH 2.0 data up quickly..Version: 5.8.9
✓ BugsLots of bugs from wrong points to not being able to add more than 1x weapon to combi- bolters, weird tick instead of 1x heavy flamer but it's charging for 5, and a few others. I'm guessing the data is new and input roughly and not debugged. Other than these the app is fantastic I will update my review once the Horus Heresy 2nd Ed is updated to fix errors.Version: 5.8.9
✓ BummerI bought this app more than a year ago, I was excited to see that it was in the App Store because I loved the first quarter master app so much. After downloading this app I realized that it is almost no different than the previous quartermaster app that I have downloaded. It was five dollars for an app that was barely different and the only way that it was different, is in some slight asked that exchanges. The makers of this app should add some really neat features that are different or more then the last app to keep us users suggesting this at our gaming clubs. So disappointing….Version: 5.0
✓ Previous version was better!The previous version was far better, lesser bugs etc Mistaking my added Horus Heresy twice on the template and now I have two versions which is annoying. A lot of user interface has devolved and harder to use. Previously it was easier to delete units by swiping and duplicating by holding on but these useful features were removed. This version is definitely not an upgrade, I'd even pay to have the old one up on the store again.Version: 5.0

✓ Price does not match the productI honestly want my money back. The product seems nice. I feel it has a lot to offer but I genuinely do not like the app or the way it flows. It does not offer as much as I would expect for the price, and the list building is uncomfortable and fidgety. It doesn’t tell you enough information and doesn’t offer enough..Version: 5.8.5
✓ So...Why the heck did you move away from the old interface? I L O V E D the way the old quartermaster worked, very easy to understand and use. This completely new system was not at all needed and now I have to scroll through everything just to add a fast attack, as opposed to before where I just clicked on fast attack and all the options were right there. No idea how to do formations, yet again the last version of this app made it very easy. Also how do I even delete old lists? H I G L Y disappointed in this new app, but hey you guys got my money right? Why would you care..Version: 5.1.3
