What is XtraMath? Description of XtraMath 1447 chars
XtraMath is a math fact fluency program that helps students increase their math fluency and recall in order to succeed in fractions, decimals, and other higher-level math concepts. XtraMath student activities are simple and straightforward and take about 10 minutes each day. The program uses sophisticated methods to present your child with the right problem at the right time to maximize the effectiveness of practice. Students earn a certificate of achievement when they complete an operation as well as receive trophy awards as they hit program milestones.
You will receive a weekly progress report via e-mail. The report shows how well your child knows their math facts and the progress they are making toward mastery. More detailed reports can be accessed via the web at any time. Additionally, there is a user guide you can download that will walk you through the program and the reports.

XtraMath Pros
✓ Great way to track multiple childrenWe love this simple straight-forward approach to math facts! I have a kindergartner, 1st grader, 4th grader, and 5th grader. They logon everyday for about 7-10 minutes for practice. As soon as they master one level, they move to the next. I can easily login and see if they have done their work and monitor their progress. My kids like that they can get on the app and get it done quickly. Now that we have been actively using the app for a month I’m seeing their school work improve and their simple mistakes decrease. I can’t believe the app was only $5. I wish they had an one for sight words!.Version: 3.20.29
✓ A great toolMy daughters teacher started the class on this program pre pandemic. She has continued with it in the days since the school closures were announced. It is a quick 5 minutes per day that she does without complaint, the results for her are fantastic. There were some minor grumblings at the start, but now she can see the improvements and sets new goals for herself (I got x right without a mistake etc.) Thanks for the app!.Version: 3.23.56
✓ XtraMath Positive ReviewsXtraMath Cons
✗ Horrible approach to learning mathXtramath is an abysmal stress bomb of an app that seems to serve a primary purpose of discouraging a genuine appreciation for math. I initially thought the horrid reviews must be from parents who never challenge their kids, and that my high-performing math loving competitive child would appreciate this app. NO. I was completely wrong. My child hates it and this was the first time in his youthful education that I’ve heard him literally say, “Dad, I hate this. This app stresses me out. I don’t want to do math because of it”. I was shocked and did my best to encourage him to press on. My wife is an engineer and my background is econ / finance. Point being is we understand the mission critical role math plays in long-term success. However Xrtramath offers a short path to discouraging a sincere interest in the subject. We will be reverting to flash cards regardless of how much the school may encourage the use of this waste-of-money app as the last thing I want is for my child to lose interest in math..Version: 3.22.41
✗ Worst app everIt’s so stupid don’t use it.Version: 20.0.0
