✓ Issue with new iphone and Google DriveI will change the review if this issue is addressed. The support email does not work so I must write here. Mp3 Audiobook Player Pro on new generation iphones lost functionality with Google Drive when you click + then Import, there is no option to find Google Drive anymore. ✓ A disappointmentI bought this from the watch app store assuming you could upload audiobooks to the watch itself. It turns out the watch app simply controls the audio book on your phone. This is nothing that audible or any other mp3 player does. The UI is pretty standard but it does get the job done, unfortunately not the job I would have liked..Version: 1.65

However the lock screen widget just doesn’t work and for me the Apple Watch app needs to be able to play audiobooks independently from the IPhone app(like iBookplayer) rather than just be a remote control Not far from being a great Audiobook player though.Version: 1.158
✓ My GoTo MP3 PlayerL've used dozens upon dozens of MP3 players, but none as nice as this one. It's quick and easy to drag-and-drop MP3 files and folders. I use the player for audiobooks, but also for foreign language lessons. You can speed up or slow down the audio with no loss of sound quality. you can jump forward or back or pause the playback. I also have files of environmental sounds I play at night to help me fall asleep. I have extensive music files I like to listen to. It's easy to toggle back and forth between files. The player remembers your place so you don't have to. I use both the free version and the paid version. Since discovering these fine players, I've never had any need (or desire) to use any others. UPDATE... The 2019 update adds an equalizer, but seriously degrades the audio quality when you change the playback speed. I am just sick about this. The developers wrecked a really nice app..Version: 1.106
✓ MP3 Audiobook Player ProJust purchased this audiobook player, sounds ok but needs better functionality and most importantly, better way to order books. My audiobooks are numbered then the title of the audiobook. This app gets it wrong so audiobook 1152 is placed before 136 and or say 1500 is placed before 161, don’t get it I have tried all the options to get it to order the books correctly, nothing works. Giving it a two star rating because of that. I have over 180GB of audiobooks, need them to display properly..Version: 1.78
✓ Great for phone, not for Apple watchThis app works beautifully on my iPhone, that I will say. However, the description says it also works on the Apple watch, and it does, if you consider being able to start and stop the audio from the watch as counting. This only works when you are also in range of your phone. Audiobooks are not stored on the watch the way books are stored with the Audible app. One of the primary motivators for buying this app was so I could go for a walk or run without my phone, and I cannot do that with this app. Please update the app so it is useful in this way!.Version: 1.111
✓ Seriously, who thought up a “Ding-Dong” and the end of sleep timer???Ok, I’m using audiobooks as an aid to nod off in the night. This worked fine for me until some m*ron thought up to place a “Ding-Dong” door bell-like sound just before the end of the sleep timer. Wakes me right up every time! Seriously, do we really have to explain the reason why you don’t put an alarm sound - or any sound at all, don’t get any weird ideas here - at the end of a SLEEP timer?.Version: 1.69
✓ It’s s inconsistentI’ve been using this for years and randomly it will jump around from one track to another and refuse to go back where I left off. This makes listening to books on it impossible. ✓ Auto playback position does not workI upgraded from the free to the pro version because they claim "Automatically saves the current playback position for all audiobooks." When this didn't work I contacted the developer who replied: "Application is oriented to listen audiobooks, and saves the last position in solid audiobook. To remember some positions in different audiofiles - you need to use bookmarks, if you need." Duh! I could use bookmarks in the free version! Frankly, I see ABSOLUTELY no difference between the free and the pro version. So, think twice before you pay for this upgrade..Version: 1.61

✓ Bare minimum, feels abandonedIt feels like The developer abandoned the app as very basic features are missing, eg. filters (e.g. read/unread). Deleting books takes ages, importing from cloud is clunky and rarely works as expected. The app is slow as if it was streaming, but it has access to all the files locally. Also missing the option to continue to next book after one is finished. Will revise , when the app gets some love from the developer (and please get a graphic designer with some taste)..Version: 1.111
✓ Needs an updateThis app has functioned great for years. But I recently got AirPod Pros and when Siri reads a notification this app doesn’t pause. It just gets quiet and I miss out on the book and my notification. This app is acting like it’s a music player, not a book player. ✓ Good functionality with a critical flawThis is so far the best audiobook player I’ve been able to find for iOS. Some of the major bugs have been worked out over the last couple of years. That said one critical bug remains, namely that if the app closes as a result of iOS running out of RAM, while the app sits in the background, the app loses the playback location, and upon reboot will start the audiobook over again. This is really annoying, when you are playing a single 30 hour mp3 file, and have no idea where within it you left off. If this bug is fixed, I’d increase my review to 5 stars..Version: 1.119

✓ What happened how can you ruin such a simple thing.I have been using this app for years and it was working fine. It was not fancy but worked and remembered where I left last. In last week or so every time I close the app next time book restarts, so I thought no biggie I can just bookmark before I turn the app off and even that won't work because bookmarks are not skipping to where I added them instead they show it processing and then nothing happens. I have to manually drag to last audio location. It is not hell adjacent for me. How to fix it?.Version: 1.107
✓ Download from Dropbox stuck at 50%I bought the app for the great reviews. However I was extremely disappointed that 1) it doesn’t allow me to import multiple mp3s for the same book (different chapters), and 2) it says that I can zip all the mp3s for the problem in #1, but I can’t finish downloading a mere 150MB zip from Dropbox to the app. It’s stuck at about 50% forever.
