Ads went up from being 10s or less to 30s.. whilst you are forced to watch them the game is already running in the background and once ads finish you find your aircraft well off route and often about to crash on ground! Clearly one should not expect much for free and the main purpose of free app is to advertise product to be then sold. ✓ ADS OVERRIDING GAMEPLAYIdiot developers placed an ad over the top of game when it first starts to play. You can hear the aircraft flying in the background as well as any sound effects but you have an ad showing on your screen. By the time you watch the ad for the set amount of time and the game appears, you are desperately going into damage control to get the aircraft back on course in what limited time you have left to complete the level. I don’t know of this is a money grabbing exercise to make people purchase the game without ads or just a simple update glitch. Either way... 1 Star..Version: 3.6.7

✓ Great app, too expensiveThis is a really great app. It's well detailed and the instructions are easy enough to follow for the most part. There are some features that are not intuitive in any way. For example starting a session. Once one figures out how to begin though, it's fun enough to play. But then....... this game will put you into the poor house. It keeps bleeding money from the user for every little thing. The only time it doesn't bleed money from the user is in regards to sharing purchases across devices. (This is probably a programming error and will be removed via the next update, I shouldn't have mentioned it). In conclusion this is a fun game, realistic game play and is easy to use. ✓ Not worth the time!These “games” are nothing more than a breeding ground for more advertisement. Before you can play them to see if you like them you’re forced into an ad for another game. In many cases you spend more time in and out of an ad than the time spent learning the game, unless of course you buy it before you know if you even like it. If you’re gonna throw an ad in the mix, how bout doing it after you’ve played it, at least give us the respect of doing that. ✓ It’s pretty goodIt’s a good game overall and I’ve seen other people say the controls are kinda wacky, and they are but you’ll get the hang of them. The part I don’t like is how once you do the tutorial and all the missions there is nothing else to do other than land the plane in the same spot because you have to buy a bunch of stuff with real money if you say want more levels, more planes, and more difficulties. ✓ Read this before you playThis is a pay to play title. The players they want are wallet warriors. This game would be fun if they make so you can work towards upgrades to the next plane and not buy every plane individually or pay to have an open world. You pay to have more than one emergency plus you are constantly bombarded with commercials at the beginning of the flight so if your not on the ground you crash. This would be a fun game if there were an upgrade system, a way to make in game money. Sure you can have premium planes, but for goodness sakes don't charge people for every blessed thing. ✓ Where are all the airplanes???When I complete challenges, it keeps telling me that I have one airplanes, but then when I try to go look for them they’re all still locked, And when I hit the unlock button I still end up having to pay for them what is the point of winning airplanes if you still have to pay to unlock them regardless? That to me is bogus, however the fun that I get from the challenges is still pretty good, but I want to try different planes out and I don’t think it’s cool that you are stuck with one plane throughout the entire game if you don’t want to pay to unlock others they should at least give you another plane for free here and there.Version: 3.4.3

✓ Poor controls, ads cover ongoing contentWhen restarting anything from a crash screen, or starting a ‘land now’ game, a 5-10 second ad will show up whilst the plane is still flying, completely out of your control. It’s as if the game forgets all calibration and I usually end up at around 1240 feet on a nosedive, after doing a 180 from where I want to be. It’s an absolute paywall to remove ads & be able to actually have fun with it. Radar issues also affect the overall handling of the plane, which sometimes even is written as ‘RADAR ALARM’ yet appears more like a rudder issue..Version: 3.7.7

✓ Spoilt by far too many adsThis is a fantastic simulator but the game is spoilt by far too many ads. They even play over the game play making it fairly unplayable. I understand the need for ads to raise revenue but when you are spending longer watching ads than evaluating the game something is very wrong. You can pay to remove them but the over-zealous nature doesn’t fill me with confidence which is a shame as I feel this could have been a very enjoyable game..Version: 3.6.2
✓ Nice sim but poor physicsThe game play is nice, its fast and smooth but on landing the physics are not even close to realistic, how can you stay in the air when you drop below the g/s with full power and it climbs like you have the speed brakes on. The real weather come on 20,000 ft and always 7kts winds from the same direction, you cant even trust what the winds will be on landing its never right. Make an option to turn off crash detection on flight sim mode, you go off the runway because of poor rudder sensitivity and it blows up and add more airports you dont even have PAJN in Alaska only 2 thats far from a flight sim. The sound loop is god awful listening to that for an hour is enough to drive you insane, and no small propeller airplanes, all their is are the multi jet engine and 4 or more props, not real challenging landing those in a strong crosswind, and thats only when you set the weather manually. The worst thing is doing any quick scenario landings it puts you in spot mode and takes 2 clicks of the camera to switch it back to something more appropriate and thats valuable seconds wasted messing around with the views..Version: 3.5.0

✓ Long Time Customer but DisappointedI first tried Extreme Landings in 2014 shortly after its initial release and loved it. Couple months later I bought the Flight Sim mode and loved it even more. However I'm very disappointed that every single plane addition since has been a "paid" for plane... it would be incentivizing to add some free planes for those of use who have bought stuff in the app as well as other Rortos sims. Aside from that the sim itself functions great and it's a great mobile sim for aviation enthusiasts..Version: 3.4.3

✓ Thoughts of customer serviceLove flight sim games and would have to say this is one of the better sims. The graphics, sounds, controls, and dynamics are on par with a very good flight sim. The only issues I have with this are the repatriation of the game it’s self there only 5 errors and are mostly easily to fly out off. My biggest issue is customer support. I played this game about 6 months ago until i found a bug on the leer jet, the level was unpassable so I took a break. About a week ago I redownloaded it and found I lost not only my progress but also all my add on’s. Upon contacting customer support I keep getting a generic message telling me the same message with no real solution. Reset my iTunes account which I’m confused by do to all my other games operating correctly. So do to there crap customer support one star. ✓ Don’t get unless you’re ready to payI had this game a few years ago and it was amazing you got the simulator and a lot of diffrent levels for free and you got every plane for free But now you have to pay for everything. It was almost impossible to get a perfect, especially for the 5th mission, it spawned me right above the airport. How am I supposed to get that. Ok first it takes over 2 minutes to get lined up, second when I tried to abort the landing the moment I rotated the nose the plane fell apart. Rortos I play A.C and it is so much better. Also what is up with the camera? I thought I was at least 20 feet from the ground when I touched down. ✓ Ridiculously difficultThe career part is excellent, totally recommend this game, however, challenges 1, landing 5, REALLY‽ I am at 30K feet, airport is 5nm away, and I need to land in 2 MINUTES? That is far too difficult. Even with stall and drop it took like 5 minutes. If a challenge completely impossible is in Challenges 1, then I dread to think what 2 and 3 have. Seriously. 30,000 FEET? But when you have an ad after every landing and right as you enter the next flight it makes the game unplayable!!! I have literally crash 9 or 10 times while waiting for the ad to finish. Why would you start the flight before the ad clears???? So you hope your holding the phone at the right angle or that you didn’t over shoot the run way by 10 miles before the ad ends and takes you to the game. This also includes the microtransactions that are always in your face. Really though, it's okay to play the free version. Wait hold up, it's okay to play the free version AWAY from your parents. If you don't remove advertisements, you’re gonna see some weird advertising that is beyond kid-friendly. It ranges from anime girlfriends to those weird episode advertisements that show inappropriate LGBTQ relationships. This is mainly focused on the advertising, please be careful who you sponsor. ✓ Great game with some helpThis game is really good but the app keeps crashing and returning to home screen, this for me is a serious issue and needs to be fixed. Regular updates including bug fixes might help. This most likely will not happen to everyone and this might even only happen to me, but this is a real inconvenience that’s is stopping me from playing this game and that’s a real bummer as I see a big potential in this being an amazing simulator. ✓ Good game but still haven’t adapted to later iPhonesI have had this game for a few years and really enjoyed it for realism but changed to iPhone XR about a year and a bit ago and the game still hasn’t changed UI layout to adapt to the ‘new’ (if it’s still classed as new) layout. Until this changes I recommend that play the game if you have iPhone pre iPhone X series otherwise you can’t play properly. You can hear the plane flying in the background while you have to watch an ad. Your plane winds up crashing because you can’t control it because you’re stuck in an ad. ✓ Wacky Controls..I didnt get to see much of the game but judging from the first mission in “Career”, the games graphics looked pretty good..! As soon as I was given my controls everything went wrong. The only way to move is to tilt your phone and I just dont understand why you cant change any controls except “sensitivity”. To see more people playing your game you need to have a variety of comtrols, constantly on games im seeing “lack of controls” or “needs better controls” and this game is no different. A good alternative control would be a joystick, just a circle on the left or bottom middle of the screen with a smaller circle that you touch. Add sensitivity to that too and the controls go like this (depends on inverted but in this case for simplicity, no.) touch and hold joystick; pull up for plane pullling up, down (etc.), left, rotate plane and right, rotate plane. ✓ Unlocking featuresHi Rortos, This is one of my favourite and best flying games BUT, I wish there was some sort of unlocking system that would require you to complete a lot of objectives or you could buy stuff through money earner in the game by completing missions or by purchasing that in game money with real money as most of us are looking for excellent and awesome flight simulators but most of the features are unfortunately paid and way too expensive for their features and so have to be reduced or have a complete change in how you get stuff. Otherwise this is the best and I like the scenarios but hate the giant list of purchases. AT LEAST MAKE SOME PLANES AND SCENARIOS UNLOCKABLE AND LEAVE THE REST PAID..Version: 3.5.0

✓ Some serious bugsThis game has some serious issues. First, the gameplay is fantastic. Only a few tries in and I’m hooked. However, there are some major glitches between trials and the advertisements. Half the time I’ll be watching an advertisement come back to gameplay and I’ve crashed?!? It’s like the system doesn’t realize I’m not in game play. So, then I have to watch another advertisement!!!! It’s very frustrating. I’m fine with ads. I’m fine with watching ads. ✓ To much transactions!“Extreme landings”, In general is a great game, It mechanics are great, it textures are ok, and it tutorial is pretty good. However something that really can upset a lot of players, is it’s pay to win features, such as having to buy more game modes, buying more planes, or even having to buy more game packs, to continue enjoying the experience. All of these pay to win features can really trigger people and can even make people quit the game. One example would be If someone finishes the Free game mode then they would have to pay to continue playing more game modes. Another example is if someone wants to get another airplane, they would have to buy It. Overall If i were to build this game, I would make it so all game modes are free, and that as you progress further into the game, you could unlock some planes for free..Version: 3.7.8
✓ YOU CANT LAND PROPERLYWhen trying to flare (pulling back on the stick around 30-20 ft above ground for the back tires to touch down first) you go to land at the back wheels touchdown BUT they then begin to glitch shooting the aircraft back up. The reason why is because the back wheels are all one thing so when you touch down the wheels won’t naturally go down. Also there is a lack of airport detail such as taxiways. If you could earn money in the missions then that money you earned could pay for the other planes it is a way to get more people to play the game instead of people being mad and deleting it and writing terrible reviews and leaving terrible ratings on it because this is a terrible rating for a terrible game. ✓ Awesome game! But..This is a great game for new pilots to experience the fear and nerve racking-ness of extreme landing situations. It comes loaded with so much content and a lot to play around with. The only problem though with the content specifically the planes/locations is that the plane and location packs that are available to buy are absurdly overpriced in my opinion. But, my biggest problem with this game is that I feel that the difficulty doesn't slowly gain harder, but rather tends to randomly get very difficult out of nowhere. Now, I'm not SUPER experienced with this game like other people, but in my opinion, that is a pretty bad quality in this game. Otherwise, it's great!.Version: 3.5.0
