Whist – Tinnitus Relief for Negative User Reviews

BugAppears this app has a bug that randomly turns the sound off. Only way to get it working was to hard reset my phone. I’ve refunded my purchase..Version: 1.5

Good app, needs bugs fixed!I really like this app as it provides the best masking available. Unfortunately it's has a bug where you must "force close" the app and restart it to play audio if you stop using the app..Version: 1.3.0

Doesn't work w/wireless earphones, Air Pods, etcThis seemed like a great app and based on the reviews I went ahead and got the paid version. However, it only works if you plug in wired earbuds. I don't see anywhere in the description that it will not work with Bluetooth, ie Air Pods, etc. Doesn't make sense why it wouldn't.. Would like a refund. I gave it 2 stars only because it looks like a good UI. Tried it with my wired earbuds and the app worked nicely, but still couldn't find the frequency of my tinnitus. ( I have been able to in the past with an old app).Version: 1.5

A rather inconvenient truth...(Saturday, August 12, 2017) If you use this with another app, this cuts the sound after a while, and you have to delete and reinstall it. So I took away one star......... (Friday, August 11, 2017) The sliding adjusters for noise, tone, seconds on/off, volume, etc., are too coarse. I find I must go back and forth several times before I get the level I want for the parameter I am trying to change. There needs to be an update with sliders that don't jump so much in value with each millimeter of movement. Also, I sometimes get no sound from the app after I sign back into my iPod. I use the app for a while, but if I have to stop for a while, I press "stop", and then the power button at the top of my iPod, to put it to sleep. After signing back in, I go back into the app, press "play", but don't get any sound. Sometimes it takes several minutes to be able to get the sound back, but I don't know what I have done to make that happen. I just fiddle around and wait for a while. And it would be really nice to be able to use the tone and the noise simultaneously. Nearly worth the $2 - 3 I have paid, and you would pay, for it..Version: 1.3.0

Add Ability to Manually Set FrequencyHasn’t worked for me..Version: 1.3.0

Want a refundI tried the lite version and it works fine. Bought the premium version and it doesn't play through earphones on iphone5. No support..Version: 1.3.0

Does nothing to helpI thought this app was to help control and rid my ringing in the ears. All it did was mimic the sound. Not sure why the Doc recommended to try it..Version: 1.2.6

JCPlease fix the bug. I need to restart my phone to be able to use the app every time when closing the program. Otherwise it is a good app..Version: 1.4.0

Nice app but buggyI use the app frequently- however the settings are not saved - often no sound at start up . Used to reset in tutorial but now I just delete the app and reinstall paid version.Version: 1.5

Is helpful for reliefIve found this app to be helpful for training me to ignore my tinnitus. I find fine tuning of the noise and frequency to be difficult- the addition of bump buttons for finer tuning would be helpful..Version: 1.3.0

Don't bother spending the moneyI'm at a point where I would try anything, and this is the worst $2 spent. There is no explanation, you can get free apps for the same function.Version: 1.0.0

BluetoothDoes this app work wit Bluetooth headphones?.Version: 1.5

DeafHorrible.Version: 1.2.6

Didn’t workLiterally heard zero sounds with this app. Removed by headphones and plugged back in... I’m not HoH or deaf... there was literally no sound..Version: 1.5

Does not workSorry but this is not the answer to your Tinnitus problem!.Version: 1.2.6

App crashes very oftenAs a matter if fact, it’s not working at all as we speak..Version: 1.5

Pasted from your clipboard on load!!!!! PRIVACY BEWAREWhen you open the app with new iOS it automatically pastes your clipboard to Whist! Did this asap, what if I'm using my password manager right before this?! This app has no business pasting from the clipboard..Version: 1.5
