✓ Bland, Boring, and RepetitiveDesert Golfing: Desert Golfing is bland, boring, and repetitive. Many people admire the app for it's simpleness, but I find it annoying when an app lacks so many features that even the simplest of apps have. There is very little satisfaction when completing levels, and because you can't even tell how many levels there are, you don't feel like you are progressing through the game. Each level is practically the same, with no major or challenging obstacles. I got to level 100 before quitting. I definitely don't recommend this game, especially at the price of $2.00..DiverseCriticVersion: 1.12

After reading the below review I thought something happened at hole 100, perhaps you restart and try and beat your score? Nope, nothing. Just hole after hole. ✓ Simple design mostly well executedI love the design. The mechanics are easy and intuitive. The only design aesthetic I’d like to see changed would be the addition of more water hazards or rocks. I saw one rock and maybe 10 water hazards in 1600 holes. Even some cactus or other hazards would add to the design. However, I deleted the game at hole 1600 when I was at 35 (THIRTY FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!) shots to get the ball into the hole with no end in sight. Prior to this stupid hole I was averaging well under 3 shots per hole. The fact that there is NO ability to skip something that is so frustratingly difficult means that I’d rather give up than keep trying. If there was a way to earn skips with a stroke penalty if you make x holes in one in a row or if there was an upper limit to the strokes before it just moved you to the next hole then I’d still be playing. It's got 3D graphics, actual music, a selection of clubs, wind, different characters and each hole has an actual par!!! I can't even share my birdie with my golf friends on Facebook. ✓ Simple, Minimalist, BoringThere's really not much to say about this game as it's the same thing over and over again for hundreds of levels. The ball moves slow, but the gameplay gets repetitive fast. Maybe if things went quicker or if there was a retry button it could be more enjoyable to progress through the levels, but when you hit a shot the ball travels through the air at a speed akin to a sloth on opium. The most frustrating thing is having to wait thirty seconds to watch a ball saunter through the air when you know it's not going to go in. ✓ Terrible controls; simplistic Angry Birds ripoffGame could be entertaining if the controls were functional. It automatically launches the ball if your finger is too close to the edge, and it always starts you too close to the edge. You can only launch at steep angles on the first strike and most of the time you can’t control the launch because of the auto launch bug. It’s just a mess.
