✓ Why..This app was cool until one of the latest updates, where everything including the volume booster function, needed a subscription to use it. Originally it was free, but now the app is useless. It’s specifically called a volume booster, so why make it part of a subscription?! I rate this app 1 star. If at least the volume booster isn’t part of a subscription, I’ll change my review. ✓ MisleadingThe app says you can boost your volume from your music, well you can sorta. You can boost your volume in your phone and it sounds perfectly fine but as soon as you are connected to any Bluetooth speaker or in your car the sound is completely distorted and crackles like a speaker is blown. The bass booster is also extremely distorted. Wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone that’s going to use it for Bluetooth speakers or in their car..Version: 2.3.1
✓ Not working right nowIve enjoyed the app for the most part, but occasionally it wont let me play music at all and just show a slash through the play button. my phones internet connection doesn't seem to be the issue since. can use every other feature that utilizes an internet connection. When I subscribed I turned on the bass boost and volume booster. I tried to listen to my songs and absolutely nothing changed. It turns out all of my songs could not be altered in any way. ✓ Worked fine for free trial.Did the trial and then paid for 3 months. Once I paid for the subscription I was no longer able to access the premium features. It’s currently alternating between telling me that I don’t have a valid subscription and that I don’t need to another trial as I already have a 3 month subscription. ✓ Terrible billing modelAfter the free trial when you’d be expecting a monthly charge at 5.99, which is still ridiculous for the functionality, it’s actually weekly. I’ve never seen something default to a weekly subscription. The monetization model feels very… Scam-esque. Gives me the hidden fee-bie jeebies. It does make your music louder and that’s about the only praise I can give this, everything else is pretty scummy. There’s better options for cheaper (and some that are free). ✓ Was good, don’t think it’s really good anymoreI have been using this app for the past 3 or 4 years now, and have loved it. However, now I will be uninstalling it. I usually don’t upgrade my apps especially if they’re working fine, so why I chose to upgrade this one I have no idea and honestly I’m quite mad at myself. I understand that the developers want to get paid for their work but $15 a month is just absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind if it was a $15 one time payment or even if it was a cheaper 3 or 4$ monthly subscription, but not $15 a month. Prior to updating, you used to be able to use the bass booster and the volume booster for free while the other remaining services you needed the subscription for. That was fine for me because I only ever wanted to use the Volume Booster. However, they have now made it that in order to use the Volume Booster you need to pay for the monthly subscription, sooo long story short the app is basically useless to me now. It’s quite upsetting because I would say that this is one of the best volume boosters that I’ve used. If you’re willing to pay the $15 a month it’s a pretty decent app but I still think that’s a high price to pay for this app and not worth it..Version: 2.5.5
