Can’t download any playgrounds.... or anything elseWhen downloading content, the circle completes, but the icon stays greyed out with the stop square in the centre, and anything you press will restart it from scratch. Because I just re-downloaded the App, I can’t do anything at all with it until this is fixed with an update. Please?.Version: 2.1

Slow, used to be greatNo idea what you have done here but the recent versions have got slower and slower to compile the given instructions and have byte show what he’s going to do. This means kids loose interest if it’s not near instant feedback. I think you need to take a look at getting this back to compile and play within a couple of seconds..Version: 3.4

BugDoesnt let you run the code sometimes even when there are no mistakes.Version: 1.5

Come on Apple…There are more bugs in this app than in my 9-year-old’s code. Almost 50% of the time, the code says there was a problem and it has to “start over.” At least this is giving my boys a good practical lesson in the value of writing good unit and integration tests..Version: 4.1

Only iPads compatible with ARKit?Swift Playgrounds is actually a great app. But since the iOS 11 update it would appear that only those iPads which support ARKit will now be able to use it. That means that a perfectly good and very educational tool is now denied to those with even slightly older iPads. Mistake?.Version: 1.6

To other developers:This app is VERY far from providing a feature complete IDE experience. You’ll immediately miss the following: - auto formatting - multi line cursors - good file management - clear ui - lack of auto appearing (hover) documentation I appreciate the effort Apple, but this is lacking. If you want me to develop for your platform, please improve the experience. If you want to be productive, it would be better to buy a MacBook and use Xcode..Version: 4.0.1

Boring don’t waste your timeWaste waste waste.Version: 3.4.1

Worst appThis is so boring.Version: 3.3.1

Keep crashingI tried to use Swift Playgrounds for 3 years in my classroom. Every year, the same problems: crash, very slow to load, you need to download the whole lesson when you don’t use it for a week... Very frustrating. When it works, it’s a beautiful app. However, I think Apple put too much work on the animations and not enough time on correcting the bug. What about something not too fancy but very efficient like Grasshopper?.Version: 3.4

UmmWell it’s kinda good for beginners, but its kinda hard for me,as a beginner, I personally think that swift is hard to learn from..Version: 4.0

Annyoing unfinished and just badThis app crashes almost every time i use it its like apple didn't care what they were making and just didn't bother to finish it. Its so badly made you may just not use it at all.Version: 2.2

It could be so much moreThis app is a tease. It’s gives you an idea of what you could do if they gave you real software with real modern IDE capabilities and didn’t cripple you. For the love of all that is holy, just give us a real IDE, which handles various languages, and stop crippling designers and developers. If you let us build it, they will come, and then you would have even more market share..Version: 4.2.1

BadBad bad very bad.Version: 3.4.1

Stacy from FacebookSo bad app has hate crimes in it and is very offensive to the Facebook community. It is also very laggy and has so many advertisements I almost broke my phone in anger. Fix this app and remove the hate crimes.Version: 4.0.1

Very DissapointedIt has some good features. Namely, it has a variety of lessons that build on each other in a coherent way, and the lessons are both challenging and engaging. However the app itself is buggy as all hell, to the point that the apps bugs mess up your own code. I’m almost finished ‘Learn To Code 1’ and have come across 4 or 5 challenges now where the game simply does not run the code I have written. An algorithm in one level does a certain string of functions in a certain way, and when you use it in another level it doesn’t. For example the command “if blocked on the right, move forward. If not blocked on the right, turn right.” Means that if you cannot turn right, you should go forward until you can. And in one level that is exactly what it does. In the following level, however? You spin on the spot endlessly..Version: 3.3

Great potential but so slow! This has serious potential, but it runs so slowly on my iPad Air. This drove me to frustration when going through the examples. So I can only imagine that children would get bored quickly..Version: 1.6.1

Nothing worksThis is utter trash nothing works it’s always laggy honestly absolute trash why do schools make us use this.Version: 3.4.1

2022 and still buggyWhen it works it’s entertaining but it’s still buggy..Version: 4.0.2

Useless to learn and useless to make appWhy is this exist? Just bring a simpler version of XCode to iPad. To make apps for iPad, you need an expensive mac. I don’t want a desktop computer..Version: 3.4.1

Frick meNo.Version: 3.3.1

Fun but Could be better.. esp for compete beginners! This app is a great concept.. but it needs to decide if it is a true keyword entry set up... as per the still brilliant ZX Spectrum language... or if they want you to type the commands in with all the fiddly little parentheses in the right places... which on a touchscreen system with no mouse is extra, extra tedious.... especially when you are nesting commands. In fact it is now well over 30 years since basic programming was successfully introduced to the masses and I am really surprised how poor the interface for this supposed 'state of the art high level?' language really is. Developers... can we have an 'if else' keyword entry please as per the other commands... I presume it is due to a bug that it does not appear in the keyword list... People having to learn this with no previous experience are going to give up when they have to type this command in and cannot figure out why it will not run as they have a { missing or positioned in the wrong nesting context. This impediment to easy learning is very very poor for a supposed modern high level language. However I am hoping we will finally get to the point where I can actually do some useful programming with it... all in all 7/10 when it could so easily have been a 9..Version: 2.1

Could be betterTrying to manipulate text within this app is extremely frustrating. Also, I’m stuck in arrays and the hints aren’t working, so where do I go for help? Once you get to arrays you are left to fend for your self, need more instruction instead being left to try things till something works..Version: 2.2

Stupid appWorst app ever needs to learn how to use common sense.Version: 3.2

BruhWhen can I make minecraft mods???.Version: 4.0.1

Drains batteryCharged iPad to 100% this morning.... 5 minutes in and my iPad is already 86%. My battery is draining way too fast because of this app, yet I need to use it for class. It’ll probably die by the time the class is finished!!! Fix this..Version: 3.0

No floating virtual keyboardSubject says it all. It is not possible to use the floating keyboard option on the iPad with Swift Playgrounds. Why?.Version: 4.3.1

Incredibly demotivating to young codersI wanted to get my daughter started with programming and this was billed as the perfect environment for that. Unfortunately the implementation doesn’t follow through and choices to push newer versions of Swift and runtime environments that iPads can’t handle ruin the experience and turned my children off from technology. How do I explain to my children that the built-in samples are not only unbearably slow on our iPad Pro, that they don’t even run and trying to open them spawns dialog boxes suggesting they’ve done something wrong and need to “start over”? My kids have learned not that programming is fun, but that it’s so hard and broken that even the company that has full stack control of the hardware and software standard can’t get them to work together. If you’re going to create a programming environment for kids, spend less time on creating cute character variations and more building a bulletproof framework that is responsive and predictable with a high degree of reactive experiences. We don’t need the latest version of Swift with all the warts, we need a simple subset of the language that is minimal enough to run properly on any kind of device kids can get their hands on..Version: 4.1

Endless Crashes and Can’t Work with Magic KeyboardNot bad coding learning app but there are too many crashes while using it on iPad. And what’s worse is that after upgrading my iPad Pro to iPadOS 15.1, Swift Playgrounds is unable to work with magic keyboard. I just cannot input words through magic keyboard while using this app..Version: 3.4.1

Pages consistently crashIt doesn’t give me much confidence in the Swift language or cocoa touch in general to see the app from the creators of that language constantly crashing. If I’m going to spend my time learning a language and building applications in it, but there is consistent instability running simple commands are the long term prospects really all there?.Version: 3.4

Gli-glitchyThe app has a well thought out game but has failed to make it practical. The game is glitching at the moment and is currently not letting me move. Reading many other reviews, people have the same issue..Version: 3.4.1

Good for children - Awful for AdultsThe app development section is horrendous, you can’t make a login page or anything of substance. It’s used as justification by apple to not give us Xcode on the iPad. The App preview won’t publish anything over 100 lines and crashes with a 5 second update time out, which you can’t change the settings for. Utterly useless for most people..Version: 4.1

TrashWon't let me do it.Version: 3.3

Ok | Reset :(I clicked on reset.Version: 3.2

Not for DevelopersAs a learning tool, this is a great app to learn the basics of Swift and app development. However, with Apple touting Playgrounds as a way for developers to “…develop iPhone and iPad apps on iPad”, this app leaves a lot to be desired. It can create the most basic of SwiftUI apps, if you try hard enough. But… it’s missing so much to be even a somewhat viable IDE - there’s no CoreData out of the box (you can get it to work, but it’s nasty), no CloudKit, no WidgetKit, and more than half the other capabilities are missing from Playgrounds that exist in core iOS development in Xcode. I want to love this app as a developer, but I can’t. I can only use it to play in a sandbox to test things out. Please either add more Xcode capability or bring a basic version of Xcode to iPadOS for us developers to be able actually make quality apps that have useful capabilities!.Version: 4.3

Such buggy appDoesn’t work most of time. Disappointed at Apple. Get some real developers to the job..Version: 3.1

Needs a decent keyboard with navigation keysThis is a bit like playing a very frustrating video game. You click on something to edit it and you just don’t know what will happen. Using it with the iPad on-screen keyboard is virtually impossible because of the lack of editing keys. When is Apple going to realise that gestured are just rubbish? Some arrow keys and a proper undo button would make a big difference. Swift itself is already bloated and inconsistent. The strong typing is a complete pain, and I’m surprised it is implemented in such an obnoxious way in what is supposed to be a modern language. The error messages are often terse and cryptic, and, on the whole, it feels like Apple have dropped the ball with this supposedly “modern” language and development environment. It’s actually the early 1990’s all over again but with more bloat, fuzzier concepts, and less fun. Look at the wonderful past innovations like HyperCard and HyperTalk, and then look at this pain-fest. We really have gone backwards in so many ways. I have been a professional programmer since the 1980’s and I never for a minute thought I would be using dross like this in 2023..Version: 4.2.1

Not workingWas good before it broke.Version: 2.0

NOT WORKINGIt was great when it worked but since iOS 11 it stopped working for my iPad Air 2.Version: 2.0

Shame. This could be a good app if it works. Always bugs and crashes. Apple going the way of untrustworthy..Version: 3.0

It crashesIt crashes every time it’s so bad and it doesn’t let you write the code this is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen it would be a good app if it didn’t have this much crashes!.Version: 3.2

Stopped working at 1112 topics learnt and got to grips of the basics. Then iOS 11 happened and the app has stopped working completely. Avoid upgrading if you like using playgrounds..Version: 2.0

App has so much potential but I have to “start over” all the timeThe app certainly is good as it offers a clear and simple explanation of terms and the activities are good to learn, specially if you have no experience. However, I had to “Start over” on every new activity as it appears constantly an error message. Unfortunately, after reaching the second part of the Playground 1 (using functions), the same error message appears but it does not get solved after start over, so it rendered completely unusable that tutorial..Version: 4.0.1

Takes for ever to downloadI have my iPad Air 2 with iOS 11.1.2 and the playgrounds take for ever to load!.Version: 1.6.1

For some reason I have an error I have to delete one of these “}” but it does not let meRead the top.Version: 3.4.1

Slooooow! This would potentially be great for my 10 year old but it’s so slow (on an iPad Air) that it’s unusable..Version: 3.1

Local save gets deletedI can’t quite understand why my local project keeps getting deleted and I end up having to find an internet connection to continue working on it. I’m not always near an internet connection. I’ve been unable to work on my project on occasion while off the grid because for some reason my local copy gets deleted..Version: 3.4.1

Worst app everIt keeps reloading and won’t let me get past the first stage.Version: 3.3

Not WorkingI used to be addicted to this game on my iPad Pro 10.5” but recently since the update, I can’t download anymore Playgrounds, so I would give 5 stars if it worked, but, since it doesn’t work its not 5 stars..Version: 1.6.1

I doesn’t workSo I basically download it the get something off it. It works fine for the first day and then it stops working on the second day. It is horrible..Version: 3.1

Worked fine before iOS 11Found this a useful app for learning swift coding - but since iOS 11 update it no longer works and I get a screen full of error messages - no other app I use has ever done this ... not a great advert for the controlled Apple ecosystem approach..Version: 1.6.1

Like most of apples stuff, this app is a jokeCan’t open a playgroundbook file downloaded off the app itself.Version: 4.2.1

IPhone Support???Great app but where’s the iPhone support? Or even just Plus models! But seriously it need iPhone Support!.Version: 3.0

Mostly Awesome!Loving it except for the while loop bug where the AND OR logic is around the wrong way so you have to use && to get the || logic to work! Pls fix <3.Version: 1.5

Third party playgrounds are goneEven though the teacher and students’ guide uses Meebot, it no longer shows in the playgrounds app..Version: 4.0.2

Fun, but impossible to understandThis app is slow, and is really complicated. I think that we should make it easier to understand because it is impossible to understand the codes. It is complicated and tricky. Please make some tutorials about coding in this app. This is why I gave it 2 stars..Version: 2.2

Server Lag Makes App UnusableThe app however great it might be is unusable because of excessive delays after you ask it to run your commands..Version: 1.6.1

Take up so much storageI deleted this app because it was take up some much storage and I have deleted it and it still take up storage!!.Version: 2.2

It takes too long for commands“Commands don’t show up quickly enough ...so the coding turns into a video game.and there’s no way to easily correct mistakes-you need to explain it better..Version: 3.0

IOS 11.0Ever since the ios 11.0 the app hasn’t been working at all on my ipad air 2 so i’m giving it a 1 star for apple not caring if it even works so this is just unexceptionable since apple wouldn’t fix a problem that they created on a app they created!!!.Version: 2.1

Great place to startThis is an excellent place for people who have little or no experience programming to give it a try. It’s also a great introduction to Swift, no surprise there. My one complaint is that there is no simple way to keep the lessons synced between two devices. I know I can airdrop them between my iPad and desktop macs but that creates a duplicate lesson each time. How hard would it be to simply store the programs in my iCloud account and load them from there?.Version: 3.3

Good but slow and buggyCould be great but there is a lot of waiting and crashes right now. Still enjoying the lessons though..Version: 2.2

IRip.Version: 3.0

GarbageDownload, install, run. Yup, okay so far. Find a course and download it? Brilliant, you have a star. Tap on the recently downloaded course, we get... a spinner. Spin. Spin. Spin. Spin. Well, you get one star for effort. As an example of how to display images and spinners, this app is exemplary. Of actually being able to do anything else, despite deleting and reinstalling several times, utter garbage..Version: 2.0

Tf is this? This app keeps crashing! I’m a Grade 7 student and my teacher want us to use this for coding. It keeps glitching it has a freaking bug! Do not download it’s not worth it.Version: 3.4.1

No GoodWho wrote this app needs to learn how to use coding. Go so far now won't load 'composing a new behaviour'. This is rubbish..Version: 1.6

Why?I was kinda exited to learn to code, NOPE! What can you expect don’t work too good to be true..Version: 3.3.1

Needs to be Faster, and get better at loading content. This app is really great, but the only thing I ask is that it gets updated to load faster. Sometimes the visuals don’t even load, so I am unable to work at solving puzzles. This is a HUGE issue. If you cannot see what you are supposed to solve, how can you even solve it? The entire app would be a 5/5 stars if everything loaded properly..Version: 2.2

BugsI hope developers see this hi guys this is a great app but some times it has some very annoying bugs dedicated keyboards doesn’t work after few minutes and one of the times when i was solving generalizing a function one of the floors or locks keep being upper than another i mean yellow floors upper than purples and i spent like 1 hour solving that and after I copied full solution from hints character goes into floor like what? I relaunched and problem fixed but I didn’t know there is a problem cause it looked normal since we don’t have real xcode on ipad at least please solve some problems thanks.Version: 4.0.2

Does not loadThis is the worst app I have ever used. It is supposed to be for my learning purposes but I haven’t learnt anything because this app does not let me load it. Now I am going to fail my test and not get anywhere in this class because this app won’t work properly..Version: 3.2

SlowGreat idea but the app is super slow and buggy :-(.Version: 3.1

No youNo you.Version: 3.4

Absolutely horribleI am using this app for an online class, and everything from the way it explains things, to the frustratingly slow typing system, to the completely broken suggestion system, are inexcusably broken and make using this app an absolute chore. I didn’t know how you could mess up programming this badly, but somehow they managed to. 1 out of 5 stars. *Update* They fixed the issue with the text suggestions disappearing after you do anything. However, the somehow managed to make the app now completely unusable, as it now runs at less than 1 frame per second. What is happening. I am baffled this is developed by Apple..Version: 3.3

Fails to build default appThe ide is lacking some fairly basic testing for release. you can install the app, start a default app which fails to build due to an installation issue. developers at apple need to work on their release testing.Version: 4.0

So slow and didn’t save your progressI really wish to love this app, because I love the concept, but omg, it’s so slow and didn’t save your progress, so what’s the point then? Total garbage 😭.Version: 3.0

No longer worksMine was working perfectly up until yesterday. It crashed and now won't let me go on to my playground, tap it and then dreaded spinner appears and just won't load. Tried resetting all of the playgrounds and deleted and reinstalled the app, but no use. Such a shame, I was really enjoying it up until then..Version: 2.0

Not working anymore! Please fix this known bug!.Version: 2.1

Failed to downloadJust got an iPad Pro one of the reasons was to try out this app as well as other things but every time I try and download any of the lessons they just come back with failed to download try again. It’s been doing this for days now so it’s not like something is down. It’s just not letting me get anything..Version: 1.6.1

OuchSo many bugs. I was really enjoying this app learning to code but now the latest update is bugged right out! I don’t even know where to start, I’m running the latest iOS on the new 2018 iPad Pro. Come on Apple......Version: 3.0

Thought this was brilliant when it worksI was using this one day with no problems at all and the next I can’t see the picture I was doing coding for.Version: 3.4.1

WHY!?YOU DID A NEW UPDATE AND YOU DID NOT FIX THE BUGS!? Apple, next time make the app BETTER not worse! I cannot run my code and I cannot move on to the others because I can’t pass!! PATHETIC.Version: 4.0

Doesn’t connectGood for learning how to program but the main reason I downloaded this was because I wanted to program my Sphero R2D2 droid....but it won’t connect....even with the droid plugged in and my tablet held right next to it. Similar apps connect immediately so why won’t this one?.Version: 2.1

It’s good but….Every time I go back to use it, there’s an up arrow in the right hand upper corner. I click on that and nothing happens. Sometimes I can open the app and sometimes I can’t. A couple of days ago it asked me to update to version 5.4. When I did, I had to start from scratch! Nothing I had done before was still there! (I skipped through what I had done and continued from there. ) Today, the arrow appeared again and NOTHING happened when I tried to download. I had to delete it. However the only version listed in the App Store is 4. What’s up with that?.Version: 4.0

Very buggy to the point of I can’t load.Using an iPad Air but had to install twice to even get a dash board. Now it takes 2-3 minutes to load the first lesson. Horribly slow..Version: 3.2

Latest version is buggy. Keeps downloading over and over.Though the apps/code don’t seem to crash anymore. The apps in playground keep downloading over and over again each time Playground is opened. It is as if the apps are all auto deleted each time one exits Playground. What was once a fantastic system for kids to learn coding is failing due to poor version update quality management. Fix it, and it will be five stars. Otherwise, failure..Version: 2.2

No longer works on iPad AirAs above.Version: 2.2

Can't handle enum and dictionary printingCan't handle printing a dictionary with enum key values.Version: 1.5

Cant import xcode project and build itThat’s it, apple being apple..Version: 4.3.1

AwfulThis app just waste my time.. didn’t explain nothing at the beginning and ask to do impossible things for people how don’t know nothing... this is the way to learn? Luckly if free....Version: 3.4

Not worth it. Total garbage!Crashes, crashes, crashes,....Version: 3.2

Comparatively poor interfaceThis does work (slowly for a compiled language) on ipad but it has a poor interface compared with pythonista. Swift playgrounds editor is a nuisance the way it selects whole keywords when you intended to select between characters. Very limited info about file system. On pythonista you can select between characters and edit properly, the text of a program is well formatted and in a good font, you also have a repl, which is very useful. The files are visible and can be located. pythonista is much more sophisticated than swift playgrounds on the ipad..Version: 4.1

BoringThis is just bad and boring-.Version: 3.4.1

I would give it zero stars if I could. This app sucks. The only reason I still have it is for school. You can’t do a single level without having the game delete everything you’ve done. If you’re a teacher, stick with scratch or simply java learner..Version: 3.3

No sound?No sound seriously..Version: 2.1

It’s a game to learn coding.but with the amount of bugs That this game has it dosent seem do its job vary well because to teach coding you have to be good at coding.Version: 3.3.1

IOS 11Completely stuffed in iOS 11.Version: 1.6.1

No longer works on iPad AirDespite what the App Store claims, Playgrounds no longer works on iPad Air. This is a shame, because it was a great educational tool a year or so ago prior to being crippled by updates..Version: 3.0

Waste of time. Too complexNo suitability ratings for ages. Don’t know where to start. UX is just awful!.Version: 2.2

So badDoesn’t load or work don’t get this.Version: 3.4.1

Good app but needs lots of workSwift Playground is a good idea, and is one of if not, the only app of its kind out there. It teaches coding in a fun way that is a challenge for all ages, while I definitely retain almost all of the information it provides, in my mind. However the Swift Playground very buggy even on my iPad which was new 6 months ago, and it can also be very slow to react to my code and even mess it up when it is completely correct. If these changes were made and problems fixed, I would be glad to give it 5 Stars..Version: 3.4

Worst app that I ever play:(.Version: 3.0

Trouble with versions. As you probably know, Swift’s an AMAZING way to learn coding, even with learning difficulties. It’s even recognised and used by my school for their technology and coding classes. However, a fair few of the programs are stuck on Version 5.3, as opposed to the later versions. Can you *please* remedy this (and no, I cannot just “update to the latest version”, this review wouldn’t exist otherwise) and port them to the latest versions?.Version: 4.2.1

Improvements on general useIt needs a couple of typing updates. For example the cursor 😫 I should be able to drag the cursor like I do in most of my iPhone apps, to where ever I want. I have fat fingers on the iPad. So it’s cool I can record a video but why would I if I can’t even drag the cursor correctly 🤔 I think the developers should focus on the more general and simple coding aspects of the app vs making something super fancy. Go back to the basics!.Version: 3.4

Amazing, but editing is the worstIt’s the full swift language, plus great graphics libs. If you have to go back and edit things, you might lose your mind. It tries to be “helpful” and select things when you are trying to put the cursor in a particular place. If you want to rewrite a line by adding parentheses here or there, you’ll get a pair, like it or not, and when you go to select the closing one, it’ll get rid of the pair. Just placing the cursor where you want it is hard because the slightest twitch and it on the next line, or up one, or it’s selected a whole expression. And you can’t see the cursor under your finger, nor can you use the keyboard as a trackpad. Why can’t I use the keyboard as a trackpad??? Everything else can, Apple..Version: 3.4.1

Holy crap! How can an app made by Apple for Apple be so buggy??? This app is supposed to teach us how to code and it's coded like sh.... Pathetic!!!.Version: 2.2

Freezes and CrashesWith the most recent update and the 4.0 versions I cannot even begin a playground. The app freezes up when I try to open a playground and then crashes after. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same outcome. Oh and then I tried to send them a bug report and that isn’t working either currently. When the app worked it was absolutely great as it was a step by step tutorial for coding. Likely better than an “coding for dummies” you will find. Help me out Apple! iOS 11, 12.9” iPad Pro.Version: 1.6.1

Ok...This game is fine but it takes way too long to enter a code and stuff but or else it’s great! If you fix the bugs and please make it go faster then ♡♡♡.Version: 3.1

Can be BuggyIt’s tough to learn if it crashes. Usually able to solve the problems but the animation, although helpful, can slow the process. Sometimes the actions don’t match commands and the dude kind of hops around the page..Version: 3.0

Slow AFSo Bloody Slow!! Renders the game impossible to play or use.Version: 3.1

Bad applicationToo much time and a lot of bug..Version: 3.2

CrashCrash app by starting every code.Version: 4.2

Does not work on 1yr old iPadAfter latest update (11/18), app no longer works. Just get blank viewer screen..Version: 2.2

Crashes constantlyI am on a brand new iPadPro 2021 with a brand new Magic Keyboard. The Swift Playgrounds app renders both completely unusable. Keyboard input from the Magic Keyboard suddenly is no longer recognized and I have to switch tu the virtual keyboard by unhooking the ipad from the magic keyboard. 9 out of 10 times opening the app the app crashes. Just as often the app can’t open the playgrounds and if -after having to close and reopen the app over and over again- it finally achieves that simple tasks all my progress is gone and I have to start from scratch. Useless as is, needs to be updated and the bugs need fixing. If Apple is able to accomplish that it might become a useful app. Right now it is not. -10 stars until then..Version: 4.0

Worst app everAlways has bugs and always has a bad connexion and I always have to restart. I recommend you not downloading this app. If there was an option to have 0 stars i would put that. It’s also not fun..Version: 3.3

HorribleIf you cant get a level for 4 hours it still won’t help you get the answer..Version: 2.2

It wouldn’t workIt’s a great app but sometimes it glitches or crashes or just doesn’t work and won’t let me do anything.Version: 3.3.1

Battery hogUseful for teaching coding, but an absolute batter hog of an app. Drains juice in the background like you wouldn't believe and I have background refresh turned off too!.Version: 1.5

Ironically probably the buggiest app I’ve ever usedThis app has so many glitches in it that it’s barely usable. It’s a real pity because it will confuse so many starting out through no fault of their own. It’s really horribly bad throwing errors or doing things that aren’t visible after editing and having to force close the app and try to manually get back to the right spot again in the app..Version: 3.0

Crashes all the time…… IPad Pro IOS 15…. frustrating and disappointing in equal measure….Version: 3.4.1

Good but slowFor anyone who has an old/iPad mini 3/4 I don’t recommend it. It’s super useful to learn, but then it’s really slow. It takes TWO MINUTES for the animation to start. I feel that that really derives the user from what they want to do. So please fix this since I want to learn. For anyone who has an old device, please don’t bother. But overall, a good app and idea. The graphics are great and cute. You learn so much..Version: 3.4

Battery drainer, but decent programming intro teaching toolThis app really drains the battery fast. What and how it teaches seems to be pretty decent and someone should be able to learn the basics. However, as others have pointed out, it can be sluggish (even on a newer ipad pro) and the using the keyboard and shortcut bar is tricky and can be frustrating. (I find typing and text editing ios generally frustrating anyway, it seems to presume where you need an insertion point rather than putting it where your finger is.).Version: 3.0

“Else if”I love how this app teaches. I am stuck though, and I have no other way, I’ve seen, to contact this specific developer than rating. So hopefully I get a response. Its the beginners chapter. Its when you start using “Else if.” Its not on my bottom bar to select. I have “if” but not “else” or “else if” I also can’t type it. I am stuck. PLEEEEase help. This would be a 5 star if I could keep going!.Version: 4.1

One problemI like the game a lot like all the characters and stuff but it’s annoying because you have to use your internet to download load the game then download levels to actually play the game.Version: 3.2

Frustrating as a voice over user.I use to be able to practice coding with this app. However, after a few months of not practicing, I started again only to find that when I move my finger around the screen, everything is announced, except the grid. I get the beginning explanation for the grid, but can’t navigate around the grid like I use to be able to. I’ve tried every combination of gesture I can think of, but voiceover won’t focus on the grid..Version: 3.4.1

Not Working on Ipad AirWith latest update(s), app is not working well. No animations, unable to run code on iPad Air (which is supported)..Version: 1.6.1

Good but crashesGreat idea and really fun to learn, however it keeps crashing with a loud noise starting over the speakers or the screen goes blue. This may be due to iOS 11 as I have had other crashes. This is a brand new iPad mini 128gb so won’t be the hardware etc..Version: 1.6

App is very nice for testing basic ideasThis app is awesome for testing simple ideas and animations in SwiftUI, even for professional developers. The caveat is that it tends to be buggy when showing view previews and it takes too long to get the updated version of Swift! When will it support the newest Swift version and features??.Version: 4.3.1
