✓ It’s a life choiceNot since football manager in the early naughties have I been so involved in a game. I’ve been playing for approx 1 year now a during that time I can’t remember a day when I have not spent at least some time on it. It is a daily challenge with much to aim for and aspire to. You can spend a fortune if you wanted to but can also progress with little or nothing paid into it. Having said that there are ‘offers’ occasionally offered but more often than not are ridiculously expensive so not worth purchasing. But overall a fantastic game..Version: 1.30.0

✓ AmazingIt is currently the best city building game on the market. Keep it up and update sometimes. I would like to see more options of alliance managing and improved battle system. Now it is basically sending malee as a decoy and put a lot of ranged units to cover them. There is bug with a quest to collect everyday reward, it doesn't get completed. When you attack someone and connection fails, game automatically count battle as a lose. The only issue is that if you are in a slow net connection, after a fight at times it gives a reload sign and you do not get and of your rewards plus it takes away all the troops you used in the fight so you need to train a new set (very annoying). ✓ DoTThis is actually a really good game and is actually free to play and level up etc. If I was going to reference it against anything else, I would say it is a slightly more progressive clash of clash game, but has a fair amount of more features like lots of titans etc. To be honest, if you don’t have patience for progression, you can pay money to progress further, but where is the real challenge if you are not struggling a little and trying your best to earn. The only issue I have found so far is that a number of players complain about the land repossession feature of the game, but it’s a combat feature and they need to accept it..Version: 1.29

✓ Really good, but needs more PvPThe game itself is already really great as it is. The gameplay is very tactical and makes you think, the titan concept is quite unique and fun, and although you get bombarded with advertisements to buy gems and premium items, you don’t need to buy them to succeed in the game as long as you know the game mechanics and you are able to apply both basic and advanced tactics. This game really is the thinking man’s action game. My one complaint (and the reason why this is 4 stars instead of 5) is because there is very little PvP. Although you do attack many people’s castles, the defenders of the castles are computer-led, rather than player-led. I have been talking about this issue with some of my friends on the game, and we have a few suggestions to the game developers on how to make the game incorporate more PvP. Our first idea is to incorporate team invasions, where more than one player fights more than one player on the same battlefield, and the commanders of each team must work together in order to achieve victory. Another idea we came up with are tournaments, both individual and team tournaments (using the team invasion idea that I have previously outlined), where there are brackets of single elimination battles, and the top 4 commanders/teams get rewards..Version: 1.21.1

The game will not react to your touch, cannot touch buildings or collect any resources and I have to close the game and restart it to fix the glitch. ✓ Great game but the bugs need to be fixedI love this game but there are a few things that I would change first of all they change the events so quickly you can barely get to the third tier. Secondly the bugs are terrible like I tell my guy to attack but he runs over to a area without anyone and does the attack animation. And lastly I feel at though the servers with the new event is very buggy as every time I play I get a notice that the server’s connection isn’t good but this only happens with this new event. Over all I feel this is a great game but they need to focus on the bugs a little bit more. Also I hate it when I tell my archers or bombers to run but they just try to go to melee it’s made me lose a couple of times can you take that feature out. ✓ Awesome GameThis game takes the best of base building games like Clash of Clans and morphs it all together into one epic medieval style fantasy game. The elements of war in games like Total War really adds to this. You truly feel like a King ruling a kingdom and it’s army. The Titan system gives you a sense of player development. The style is beautiful, soundtrack is enticing, and the mechanics are seamless. No doubt my favorite game on my phone. Some things I would like to see added are mainly aesthetic or customization, like the option to create your own Kingdom banner. Or the option for more immersive battles (blood, sounds, realistic Titan fights). I’d also like to see more immersion in your Kingdom, like better building placement (rotation, spacing) and more types of houses being built in empty spaces. I’d also ask that you reduce the price of upgrading buildings at higher levels because it takes so long to move onto the next castle level. On the topic of kingdoms, there should be an option to visit other players kingdoms and donating troops to them without them having to ask. I’m sure there are more requests I could think of but that’s all I got right now..Version: 1.37.1

✓ Don’t believe the negativityIt is true the developers of this outstanding game have a thirst for money... who doesn’t and why shouldn’t they be paid. But that being said, they have also created a beauty of an RTS in a way that with a little time and patience you can build your army and Titans without cost. My only negatives are directed towards some of the more... somewhat childish minded other players whom use their high levels and their other high level teammates to dominate the game, however there are ways to beat them too. Firstly the game does not bring up so many pop up messages for purchasing from real world currencies! Secondly you are able to obtain gems without actually having to pay for them constantly which is a great plus to any game, really glad the developers thought about this and made it possible to obtain gems through daily missions. ✓ Amazing game with a lot of depthI was quite surprised by the amount of depth there was to the strategy aspect of the game. It wasn’t some brainless point and tap zombie fest. Combat is fun albeit clunky, hence the 4stars. I feel like the ‘drag to move’ system is lacking in polish. I found myself needing to redrag the arrow a few times to get it slightly to what I wanted. Also the reason why I didn’t give 5stars is the fact that the camera isn’t full 360. It seems to be locked at 180 which is quite annoying sometimes in battle which has a winding path. ✓ Great game, but could teach a bit betterI don’t mean to insult this game at all (really great and fun game), but some things that really bug me is the fact that surrendering really needs more of a warning then “you can lose some troops” to “your going to lose all of the best troops right now, and will never be able to get them again, are you sure you want to surrender?”, I lose 2 imperial legions, one panther, and one giant, at lvl 9 that is a massive downside and can set me back massively and honestly would be better spent restarting the game and doing it all again, so it would be nice if they would let you know when you want to cripple yourself permanently at a low level instead of just a small warning, as I thought it was a way to restart the battle in the campaign after I missed two shots with the spell and wanted to do it again, and now I’ve messed myself up for the rest of the game.Version: 1.38.0

Now capping is an important part of the game and shouldn’t be taken away but currently the high level players are basically bullying lower level players, who want to contribute to their Alliance by taking all their lands. It is turning a lot of players away from the game because they are stopping growth in the game. It would be much fairer if you can only cap at your level and above. Leveling up buildings and relics to make your Titan stronger. It used to be possible to compete. Not anymore. As of mid 2017 the game has completely changed to pay to win and unless you spend $100 every event which is every week you will not be able to fight against the guys who do and you will just keep getting slaughtered. You won’t be able to level up because you’ll lose lands and you will never be able to save up the required gold or food to upgrade and raiding is impossible because you won’t be able to beat their titans defending their lands. This game has truly become all about who has the bigger wallet. I’ve spent over $200 on this game in the last month and I am still getting destroyed. Gaming is a big business and make no mistake Dawn of Titans is exactly that, a profit based business. If you want to succeed regularly you will occasionally need to put your hand in your pocket and shell out for Gems. Gems are the vital currency and the basic foundation of fully completing weekly events. They do replenish slowly thanks to daily quests, allowing you to complete one event a month without buying any extra. This game can be played casually or seriously. It’s up to you how you play. You can spend a fortune or not that much at all. It all depends on how many battles you put in. Events can be cheap if you are willing to put in the time or they can be very expensive if you try to rush. Everything is expensive if you rush. Take your time and enjoy the game. Don’t make it a grind and don’t burn yourself out trying to get to castle 25 over night. Choose your events wisely. Think about what you really need. You don’t need every titan in the game to win. You don’t need to go to Legend to get a 4 star titan. Big leagues and alliances are just more work and way more demanding of your time and money. ✓ Could be my favorite gameThis review is mostly positive. The game is beautifully done. It feels like more than just a game, a story without any real literature involved. It took me a bit to get used to and I'm still learning however, for me the landscape mode makes it hard to play for longer than 20-30 minutes. It's also a bit too slow for me but I guess that's a compromise for the amazing graphics. I've yet to make any purchases until I fully understand what I'm purchasing or until I decide if it's a game I will continue to play. If it wasn't landscape id probably play a lot more. 4 stars for now. Will give better rating if I can play longer without having to spend money. Its about $100 USD to complete an event, sometimes more and that’s fine. We all need to get paid for our work, I get it but if that’s the way forward for you guys then at-least make the player experience easier on your obviously loyal fan base! Stop messing with relic and titan drop rates, stop messing with the event soul relics. Titan fusion event wasn’t even a full 24 hours long and you guys decreased the xp per fusion. How does that make you more money? What’s insulting is that you guys do it subtly and think we don’t see it happening. I don’t mean to gripe, but something has to give. ✓ Top notch graphics with great gameplayThis is a typical base builder game where you attack other players to acquire resources to upgrade buildings, troops and of course, titans. The first things you notice when you start playing are the awesome graphics and the ability to control your troops on the battlefield, which is a neat feature. The game is straight forward and is easy to start playing with its good tutorial. You can raid lands, attack garrisons, fight in the arena, fight at the monuments, complete the campaign or compete in a weekly solo or alliance war event. I’ve played this game for over a year now as a F2P player and I am pleased to say that the developers actually pay attention to the players and attempt to make continual improvements that benefit the game. The new Conquest event is great, and I can only see the game getting better from here on out. If you have never played DOT, it’s worth the download. ✓ Ah!Well thanks. Another game I'm addicted to within a few hours. So much more enjoyable than Clash of Clans, and many other similar games, I was persuaded by the App Store game footage to try it. So far, the in-game rewards are pretty good, and keep you going. Obviously the wait times for upgrades are a pain.....they always are, and I have spent some cash on gems to speed things up. It remains to be seen whether it will go down the pan with later levels, but so far I am captivated by the stunning and beautiful graphics and sound track that far outstrip any other game I have played on my iPad. Six months in. One annoyance.......Titans cannot/will not jump over low walls, they go around, delaying the attack potential considerably......which is ridiculous. ✓ Good but overpriced itemsThis game is a lot of fun I love what they did its not just a copy of all the other strategy games. I'm not even really into strategy games and I like this one. There are some bad things about this game though nothing to do with gameplay. Overpriced in game currency, packages for titans are overpriced. I have been in 2 clans and they both have kicked out everyone but their friends when event was almost up causing me and others to lose out on the event rewards we have worked hard for! I messaged support and asked them if they could change that. How is it fair that punks in the alliances are allowed to rob us of our rewards. There needs to be a system in place to prevent this!! Support hasn't done anything about that. This right here is a huge issue to me and I'm not the only person is happened to. Please put a safeguard in place so they cannot kick us during an event (If we have participated a certain fair amount). Other than those 2 issues...this game can be pretty fun. I like that it shows changes when building and upon completion it actually looks improved. The graphics are beautiful. Just the army needs to be improved but they are almost too small to notice great detail. Really love how different this game is from other similar games. It's beautiful.Version: 1.32.0

✓ Add wall defencesI really love this game it always entertains me and I love the battles but could u add walls for your bases so it is a bit harder for people to attack you and more challenging for many people also if you could add arenas were just titans fight. ✓ SuggestionsI'm still fairly new to the game, however, in my time of playing I've noticed a few things. There is barely a social aspect to the game right off the bat. By the time I finished the tutorial I was in Silver League which is fine and all but there are barely any active players on. I decided to start my own alliance and my only way of gaining members has been poaching from other alliances. Secondly, there are some really unnecessary rules but the most prominent one I've noticed is that a player must wait 18+ hours after capturing land to join an alliance. There doesn't seem to be any practical point to this besides prohibiting players from hopping around but there's more cons than pros overall. The game is very 'I'm going to drop you off with some pointers and let you figure it out from there' and I can appreciate that but if these aspects I talked about before could be fixed I believe it would improve gameplay..Version: 1.20.7

✓ Modest gamer: This is one of if not the best game I’ve ever downloaded for my phone.I’m not a hardcore gamer and wouldn’t know enough to criticize every aspect of this game. But this game has really been the best game I’ve downloaded. It hits all areas of a console game but on your phone. There are campaigns to follow, Titans you can level up and train, and my favorite part is how you can actually battle someone else’s army. You can strategize and move your players around. It isn’t automatically controlled like other games. You can actually move things around! Another great aspect of this game is how they aren’t so pushy about spending money. You can also gain gems, gold, and food easily. Leveling up doesn’t take weeks, it takes hours or days. There are also events you can participate in with your alliance. I really enjoy this game and find myself playing on it for hours (not really proud of that lol)..Version: 1.26.0
✓ Good game with fun strategies but...Good game with fun strategies, opportunities to belong to a strong alliance or lead one from the beginning. Build your castle and train your troops. Events are hard and if you finish the event on a weekly basis spending money is inevitable. Small disappointing part is when you play the game, save gems and by mistake press the wrong bottom (because they are all close to each other with similar icons) the tech support won’t return you gems... small effort to the tech and bug effort for the user. ✓ Great game!I think this game is great despite some bad reviews. It really isn’t too buggy. Yeh some opponents islands don’t respond if you tap on them but this is quite rare for me. I play it every day and still love it. The visuals are amazing and commanding your troops on the battlefield in real time has made it the game I have been looking for, for some time. ✓ Great Game but with a little down sideHonestly refreshing to have a game where it isn't all about spending loads of money to upgrade. Took a little getting use to the interface but slowly you get the hang of it. Builds do get quite long when you get further in but unlike COK or GOW once you get attacked you get a shield to give you time to recover without having to spend a heap of money buying shields and all that(great money saving part lol). Strategising attacks for the defences set is also great as it varies the game play and enticed you to think of different options to minimise losses. If a player is a few levels above you it's not impossible to win a battle unlike other games. Levels out the playing field a bit. The down side is the game does crash from time to time which in cases you are in the middle of battle you lose your troops and spells that you had assigned to that battle and no resources are reimbursed to train them back up but I'm sure the developers will sort that out soon enough. Chatter in the game amongst your alliance is quite at first but once you get higher in the league levels you find more active friends to chat with which is also good. Overall good fun. ✓ Costs a fortune in real money to get anywhere!It’s a fun, well-developed game. But there is a reason Zynga is headed towards making, literally, nearly a billion dollars in 2018, which is that in order to really advance in the game you will have to spend a lot of money. They know how to get their hooks into you, which will probably come as no surprise. Be aware that even if you plunk down $100 to buy a huge pile of gems (which is more than truly epic console games cost), you won’t get very far. You will often find that advancing to the next level requires upgrades to buildings that cost much more food or gold than your storage facilities can hold, so you need to make up the difference with gems. It takes massive amounts of play time (or money) to acquire and level up the 3- and 4-star titans. If you look at videos of truly massive battles, you’re seeing players who have hacked the game somehow, are sponsored, or else spent literally thousands of dollars, which I think is abhorrent. The game is certainly enjoyable enough to justify spending 5 or 10 bucks, but now after a few weeks I’m ready to move on..Version: 1.20.14

✓ THIS GAME...IS THE GREATEST!!!When I first saw this game I was like, might as well try another one of these strategy + base building games I'm so addicted too. I watched the first video thing with peaking interest. I started to play the game after that, and began to notice how every aspect of this game is practically perfect. I have never, EVER found a game so detailed and fun, and I can control my army so easily. There are just so many things to do in this game it is almost overwhelming. I know you devs spent tons, and tons of time balancing out the troops, and I want to personally let you know, YOU ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT! There are so many kinds of troops, and ways to use them. I haven't even gotten to the Titans yet. There are so many kinds of Titans to use al, with different skills and things, (I prefer Eris, she is the best!) the relics are also a nice added touch, because it makes you plan out how you have to control your troops, and which kinds to use. Now I don't want to make this too long, but I had to tell everyone how amazing I think this game is, to all the beginners, I know this game can be sort of discouraging at the start, but keep on trying, it will get real fun soon, and think strategically. ✓ Incredible GameAlright, let me start by saying this: if you enjoy strategy games, ancient warfare, or war strategy, you’ll absolutely love this game. I downloaded it a few years ago, and haven’t left it since. It deals (to the player’s wishes) with strategies in warfare, but with a slight fantasy twist. Also, instead of siege machines, giant humanoid creatures. Certainly not an original idea, but this is a very original outlook on the idea. The one and only thing I wish could be better: if you’re online, and see one of your territories get attacked, you should get a pop-up that invites you to take control of your own troops and Titan defending against another player. That way, the (sometimes stupid) AI won’t lose the battle for you. Other than that, it is a nearly perfect, well-balanced game for anybody.Version: 1.39.2

✓ This game is fantastic!Of all the Mobil games I’ve played (and believe me I’ve played a lot) this game ties in first place with my other favorite. Biggest reason is you can play it for a a short time, or play it for hours. When I want to play a game, I want to play it! I don’t want to tap a couple of things then come back in a half an hour to tap a couple of more things. Yes this is a farming, building game...but it’s a war strategy game as well and you can do as many battles in a day that you want! If you need more food, go and battle! If you need more gold? So whenever I try to battle someone I try to add troops but it says troop capacity full.
