✓ Good introduction to logicI have never been a math or logic person, so the problems in this app were more challenging to me than they were for most. I wish something like this, with problems and explanations, all for free—were accessible when I was younger. I wouldn’t have known where to start looking! If I started at a young age, my math skills would be better, and I may have actually done math for fun. This the kind of stuff that they ask on IQ tests, not the silly memory or perceptual reasoning stuff they have on online IQ tests. Perceptual reasoning and working memory do not require preconceived knowledge or study like verbal reasoning does (verbal reasoning includes vocabulary and mathematics). However, all three measures can be improved with practice. You just have to know where to find the challenges..386728Version: 4.1.6

✗ Frustrating as an aid to study- not great valueI downloaded this to help with applied statistics for psychology- wanting to learn about linear regression, ANOVA etc. I would say that what’s available on here is less useful than what’s available for free on the internet. If you’re using this as a bit of a brain teaser, or something that’s more fulfilling than scrolling social media, then fine. However, I’d say if you’re studying (statistics at least) this will only be marginally helpful - which, for the price, you might expect more. It tends to be quite maths and equations heavy, rather than running though applied examples of how to read and understand output data. It’s also hard to navigate to specific courses. If you’re studying and want a hand getting your head around stuff, stick with Kahn academy - you’ll probably learn a whole lot more, and for free..Pickers 11011Version: 6.3.2
