Skillshare: Creativity Classes for Positive User Reviews

Amazing great way to build skills for creativitySkillshare is such a good app and I love it i use it everyday snd cant wait to learn with it again. You have play speeds, subtitles, great quality, and so many different courses for the same things which means different points of views and different people you may get on better with as your teacher. No trouble for me really signing up or signing off from skillshare. Love it recommend it if you want to build skills for your creativity and creative hobbies and work😁.Version: 5.4.10

Great way to learn something new!I do recommend Skillshare. It’s a great way to learn some new skills. Some videos have been very inspiring to watch as well as motivational. I also love that you can go back and watch the classes you’ve already don3 and follow tutors so you can do more of their classes. Some classes have activities and exercises you can do and share your work with others. It’s a fun app! One criticism I do have is that there is a LOT of content about certain Apps or skills such as Procreate art app and how to use watercolours. (I use this app for mainly art workshops) and less content about say acrylic painting and crocheting or Ibis Paint X. Otherwise a great app. You can also cancel at any time so like streaming services and apps these days 6our not stuck if you need to cancel and if you want to you can activate it again..Version: 5.3.10

Love it!!Learning a multitude of skills and techniques..Version: 5.5.3

GreatThere is always something to get my creative juices flowing and I can try things new stuff I’d never normally try with great teachers to help me learn..Version: 5.6.19

So many great classesI joined skillshare to do some specific classes for the project I’m working on but I keep seeing more classes I want to do for fun. They’ve all been professional, inspiring and are really helping me improve many skills..Version: 5.2.3

InvaluableIn terms of app functionality, there are a few things lacking here (search filters!). Otherwise it works perfectly functionally, so I have no noteworthy complaints. That said if you’re on the fence about signing up for a Skillshare account, just do it. I’m the cheapest person I know and after a free trial through SciShow, am gladly paying for a subscription. It is infinitely useful and some of the skills I’ve learned here have paid for my subscription hundreds of time over. It is seriously saturated with content though, so it’s up to you to choose the right classes..Version: 5.0.11

Amazing app!!!I’ve been using skillshare for a good few months now and it’s just amazing! You can learn almost anything and all lessons are taught by professionals, it’s worth every penny! If you wanna learn a new skill, brush up on your art or practice mindfulness there are courses for everyone. My favourite app by far! Very inspiring and so much fun!.Version: 5.6.5

Always ready to learn something newSkillShare has opened many new doors in my personal and work life. It is an incredible platform to find all kinds of instructional videos on what ever topic you may choose to explore. What at first started as a way to gain skill in my own career development has now expanded to personal skills, such as organization, planning, and cooking. I could not be more happy with Skill share as I am in my second year of loving it!.Version: 5.4.18

My new, improved skillsSkillShare is a great place to come to find new ideas and improve on what you know. I have taken many classes on watercolor painting and a few in hand lettering. I love playing with color and style and I have built confidence in my watercolor painting, especially painting outdoors in a natural habitat. I think the hand lettering classes have given me new ideas and an opportunity to express myself in different ways. There are SO many things to learn and try in a short time and this is the place to find those classes that will get you started and really stretch you!.Version: 5.3.19

App is a little buggy.I’m a Skillshare subscriber and have used it on desktop, tablet, and mobile. The content is A+ and I would recommended a subscription to anyone interested in having a wide variety of fun and interesting classes at their fingertips. I’m giving 4 stars out of 5 because the app itself is a bit buggy and non-intuitive - buttons don’t always work, some button layouts are confusing. Particularly the “about” section in classes. Also the class project feature doesn’t work. It would be great if they could fix this and make it as full-featured as the desktop version..Version: 5.0.5

Great app for learning.I’ve used Skillshare for a week now and there are lots of things I learned. As well as lots of classes to choose from, each teacher teaches in a way that helps us understand. Would recommend if you’re learning something new..Version: 5.3.10

Amazing value for money. Incredible content.I have learnt sooooo much through skill share classes. I could fill all day every day with their classes. There are so many great classes, so far the standard of each class I’ve taken has been very high. The convenience of being able to learn at my own pace, in my own home, combined with the access to so many brilliant practitioners makes skill share indispensable to me. Thank you skill share..Version: 5.2.2

A bit limitedIt’s frustrating that you can’t upload photos to the class projects from the app on your phone or tablet. And overall, it feels a little lacking in functionality. The search engine is a bit random as it shows more for the teacher if you search by their name than if you click on their profile. But I do live it and think I will pay for the year up front after my two months free trial runs out..Version: 5.3.7

Creativity CentralSkillshare has opened up a world of creative expression and self-care for me. I thoroughly enjoy that people from all over the world create classes, share their experience and knowledge, and you can develop your art, writing, business and so many other skills in one spot. The app is great and I highly recommend the classes for anyone wanting to explore their creativity. No experience necessary as there’s something for everyone at Skillshare, aka Creativity Central..Version: 5.3.15

Great Source for Learning & Improving SkillsI subscribed to Skillshare about a year ago to learn more about creating digital art in Procreate and Affinity Designer. It’s been an awesome source of inspiration for me. There are so many classes to choose from, and most of the instructors are really great. I’ve learned so much! Thank you to all the instructors who create these wonderful classes. The Skillshare app itself works quite well. I use it mostly on my iPad. One request - it would be great if it was possible to download source materials like brushes directly from the app instead of having to switch to the browser version..Version: 5.3.25

Good valueThere are many great teachers and topics. I feel inspired and enthused to create. The app is easy to use..Version: 4.3.1

SkillshareThis is a great app. So much choice! When you open the app It goes straight to the class you are following to the exact place you left off, and has never crashed. The resources can’t be download from the app but I didn’t find that a problem as I would watch a class in my phone and then go to desktop to download and follow along..Version: 5.1.6

Good appIt s a good app, simple to use. You can watch and download videos and search for topics as well. However, i find it limited. I would like to enrol in classes and be able to write comments and reviews. But it s either not possible yet or not very intuitive to find how. I also cannot see the classes notes and link on the app, which is also annoying. So i am not able to fully support the teachers i like. Having said that, i mostly use the app, i rarely go on the website.Version: 4.5.28

The best app while you staying at home because of CoronavirusI really enjoyed watching different tutorials and learn a new skill, especially when I learning some software and need to get the concept as soon as possible. Besides, it is my best companion when I could only stay at home despite of watching Netflix. You can always get the best deal during Black Friday for annual membership. Killer app for combating Coronavirus at home, highly recommended..Version: 5.2.9

Great Place for LearningI throughly enjoy being able to tap into experienced classes that go over a range of skills and a variety of different topics and easy going assignments. It’s a simple and easy app to navigate. I would highly recommend this to someone wanting to learn new things, refresh themselves on something they may of forgotten or looking to advance their skills. I personally need to manage my time more and do a couple more classes. Thankfully they have reminders you can set to keep you up to date and focussed!.Version: 5.2.12

Inspiration and motivation!!!This skills share App is a fantastic way of getting your mojo back!! Listening and watching enthusiastic talented people just gets you back to loving what it is enjoy the most..... go ahead and move your own journey in life forward 💝.Version: 5.3.20

The bestCreative workshops any time anywhere 👍🏻.Version: 5.4.4

Reviewing App not PlatformI love Skillshare and I have no issues at all with the Skillshare platform. The only issue I have with the app is that I cannot look at or download the class materials on the app or upload my work from the app. This is particularly annoying when the only method I have for photographing my art is my phone or my iPad and I feel like it would be more usable if I could upload directly from that device via the app versus having to email myself the photo and upload it from my computer. This is particularly painful for me because I have satellite Internet on my computer where is on my phone I have unlimited data. Perhaps I have the opposite problem of most people but I live in the wilds of Maine and there is no broadband. Otherwise the app is very convenient and I quite enjoy just watching the classes but I’m waiting in the car somewhere and can’t even do the projects. It’s a good practice to watch the prep classes before you start the project anyway. Great app and I hope that they will consider allowing uploads and downloads within the app..Version: 5.1.3

Love this platformI have been browsing and browsing in the endless possibilities that this platform gives. I am so thankful to the teachers out there as I have learned so many new things!! I am using Skillshare as a hobby on a side to learn something new, but I am also a fashion design Student and it helped me with my CAD projects a few times..Version: 5.3.4

Excellent AppI joined skill share and I am blow away with all the great classes and content. I am just loving it the price is great and I find myself more and more interested. I stopped going to Udemy because it was too expensive.I think there is much more range of learning materials on skillshare. Many of us were hit by the pandemic in this last year if skillshare can keep it affordable. Then we will be happy to stay..Version: 5.3.27

Like the app butI’ve been with Skillshare for a couple of years now. I would like to point out the classes could be better if they didn’t go so fast. I spend more time in a class than I would like to because of having to rewind a lot of the time. If I press the 0.5 its way too slow and the voice drags so I can’t understand what the instructor is saying. Other than that I really like Skillshare. I just wish the instructors wouldn’t go so fast..Version: 5.4.13

Fantastic!Since I have been using Skillshare I love every minute of it, I recommend it to anyone. You will be very Satisfied with Skillshare..Version: 5.4.18

Good value for moneyWith thousands (possibly more) courses on all possible skills all included in the subscription, Skillshare is great value for money. Whatever you are interested in learning, it will be there (except maybe brain surgery?).Version: 5.6.12

SkillshareSkillshare is the best thing you can do with you time.Version: 5.4.18

Many things to learnThe variety of instructors, styles and topics available are impressive. I think most people would find topics and style they could enjoy leaning about..Version: 5.6.0

Great App/SiteSo I started my freelance journey not knowing where to go and what to do, thanks to my boss who recommended skillshare to me, am happy to say that I go my UI/UX skill and SketchUp Skills from skillshare and I’ve been doing great ever since. I highly recommend Skillshare to any creative professional out there..Version: 5.4.8

Great can watch my Skillshare classes anytime.Great can watch my Skillshare classes anytime. Love the app I have all my classes ready to watch when I can. Seamless between my desktop and iPhone..Version: 4.5.18

Julia Bausenhardt classes are greatI have been thoroughly enjoying the classes on skill share. They are so well presented. I especially enjoy Julia’s classes. I have used the images I have created to decorate all sorts of books I use and make and love them. Sharon.Version: 5.1.5

Learner/TeacherSkillshare is the perfect place for learning and relearning creative or business building skills. As a teacher it’s a wonderful platform to share your own knowledge and I still get a thrill when students post projects or review the class..Version: 5.1.0

Become Better at Anything CreativeI was first introduced to Skillshare through Jenna Moreci, Cyborg Queen and Indie-Author of The Saviours Champion (she has two classes here just so you know!) I couldn’t be happier with the classes. It’s perfect to learn at your own pace (even standing on a train) and to improve your skills in anything artistic. I’ve got classes for writing, photography, painting, marketing... and there is so much more in the banquet I haven’t tried yet. Do it today and learn something extraordinary..Version: 4.5.30

Skillshare is grrreat!!I’ve had the app just a few days but I’m very excited about the possibilities it will afford me. We live in an amazing time and we’d all live a much happier and fulfilled life by realizing and sharing that realization with our individual networks. If you’re in the market for learning any new skill you owe it to yourself and those around you to get this app and share it with your friends and family. Seriously great work and I hope many wonderful things happen for your company because you have rewarded my life and as a result the lives of people I will interact with in the future. Educate yourselves everyone. This is the way!.Version: 5.3.15

I like SkillshareIt’s so nice to use platform for sole purpose of learning skills weather it be drawing or writing and I do it personally for fun so if u haven’t tried Skillshare and your reading this review i Jason David Arcand from Northern Alberta give it my 100% seal of endorsement go check it out.Version: 5.6.5

No guilt!I like that with Skillshare I don’t have to feel tied down to pursuing an interest if I realise I’m not that into it or want to revisit it in between visiting other classes (great for short attention spans!). There’s freedom and less guilt with being indecisive or taking it slow. Although I haven’t uploaded any projects, I really like this feature as it allows you to feel more involved and validates the efforts you have made with learning the subject and spending time on it..Version: 5.5.4

Skillshare is AwesomeAn amazing platform with a brilliant community of teachers that is quite literally in the palm of your hand. Skillshare offers an amazing variety of courses from comprehensive classes that take a whole subject, broke down by chapters to granular bite-sized courses that zone in to an area of a topic within a subject. I’ve been learning Motion Graphics software, a technical subject with a steep learning curve and I love that when you have mastered the basics you can find concise lessons that cover a particular technique or area that is easy to digest. Building blocks of knowledge works brilliant for me and stops me feeling overwhelmed. I enjoy dipping in and out and can often find the answer to a questions very quickly. The quality of the classes are excellent, they are meticulous but always engaging and very easy to follow. Great value for a very affordable subscription..Version: 5.3.0

Continuous learner.I’m an artist and designer and I’ve been using Skillshare for a while now. It’s so easy to use and I love discovering new skills to learn or improving the ones I already have. The creators tutorials are well made and easy to follow. I particularly like how you can follow a subject at your own speed and rewind if it’s a little difficult to pick up the first time around. After a while I did sign up for a subscription which allows me to access everything as I was buying a lot of courses - for once a subscription has turned out to be the better option!.Version: 5.4.6

COMPARISON (SKILLSHARE VS. UDEMY)I downloaded this app so I could compare each online learning apps. I will say, as an artist, I was really happy that skillshare was mostly creativity related. I will say that this seems like there is a lot of smaller courses on this app while Udemy, is more of a “big” course app where you pay for one in particular and have all the information you need in whatever you learn. I probably won’t be paying for Skillshare as I payed for courses on Udemy. I feel like if you want a lot of small courses for a good price, use Skillshare. If you want big courses for $20 dollars a piece, go to Udemy. I’d say my preference is Udemy because they have almost every topic. But I also love Skillshare..Version: 5.3.15

Short and sweetSkillshare contents come in small, highly inspirational and easily digestible chunks - I love it! :-).Version: 2.1.0

ProductivityI was looking for a platform that would help me improve my productivity. I would take on too much or over schedule myself and as a result, I would feel tremendous stress both at work and in my personal life. I needed to learn new skills to better manage my time and organize myself. So I tried Skillshare and the classes on Productivity have been a game changer. I’ve learned new tips on productivity, from managing my emails to managing my time and the results have dramatically improved my productivity and reduced my stress levels. I look forward to exploring classes on other topics on Skillshare. So far, I am completely satisfied..Version: 5.4.2

Love it!I love thé flexibility in the app, absolutely recommend.Version: 5.6.10

BEST SITE EVER!This is the most incredible place to find a wealth of skilled individuals who want to teach, and are extremely good at teaching a multitude of crafts, hobbies and happy healthy living. I’ve supported this site for a number of years now. Sometimes I haven’t had time to take more than a few classes a year, but I believe in what they are doing and how they are trying to reach as many people as possible who would like to learn to do something new or get better at something they already enjoy. I whole heartedly recommend you give SkillShare a try. You’ll be hooked from the first class you take..Version: 5.4.10

Sort function for search results greatly missingOn the desktop web browser mode, we are able to sort our search results by how many students are in that classes, getting a good idea whether it’s a good quality class to join or not. But we’re not able to do this via the app version. Please include this function!.Version: 5.6.16

Creativity at its bestI love skillshare and managed to get a really great year subscription deal for the last 2 years. I tend to dip in and out so the full price was too much for me. The teachers just get better and better and content more professional. Most classes I have taken have been fun and improved my art skills, primarily lately with procreate but most things are covered. Highly recommend to anyone who loves learning..Version: 5.4.10

Great for learning new and helpful skillsI love Skillshare, the variety you get on here is great! The app isn’t particularly user friendly but I do like that you don’t get bombarded with notifications, and emails only weekly and to notify me when my favourite tutors have posted a new class. So there’s some updating that could really benefit the app. I would LOVE if you could watch a class on television whilst joining in on the iPad for instance. That would be fab!.Version: 5.0.10

Mobility plusNot having to sit in front of the computer screen to watch all the videos is a great plus. You can take your iPad to bed for those final relaxing moments before falling asleep. And replay what you missed when you wake up! I can check in on any section using my iPhone when waiting for my soy chai latte! All enrolled courses are easy to find out and to enrol into a new course is simple..Version: 1.4.0

Never stay home without it.This app is a gem. I have learned so much about Art, graphics, business, even cooking. No end to the topics available and more keeps coming. I’m committing for life..Version: 5.3.20

Top tips from industry professionals at my leisureI have taken art classes through local colleges/universities in the past but I feel Skillshare has helped me to access a wider range of classes/ resources from professionals who are still active in their chosen industry and to view lessons from wherever I am and at a time which is convenient for me. I would highly recommend Skillshare to aspiring artists or makers and to those already experienced but looking to branch out or gain further knowledge around running the business side of their creative endeavours..Version: 5.1.1

Apple recommended. Of course it would deliverI purchased the new iPad Pro so that I could use the Procreate drawing app to learn sketching as a complete beginner. How now do I learn Procreate? I was stumped. Wait! Easy. Apple recommended training with Skillshare. I checked it out and was bowled over. I’ve lost count of the amazing number of engaging courses available! Which are as varied as they are individual. Absolutely fantastic..Version: 4.5.26

AmazingI mean how could you say anything negative about the overall content etc. 1 star removed just cuz it’s really expensive to subscribe yearly after free trial. Really Wish I could do it, but waaay outta my price range, unfortunately. Great yoga & motivational & business classes. I mean, there’s classes all around for days; multiple classes that everyone would get something out of..Version: 5.4.8

Luv SkillshareI use you tube often to learn stuff. But Skillshare tops all my other learning mediums. I have accelerated my learning at college. The lessons have given me greater knowledge, experience and confidence in my chosen subjects. The cost is affordable and I hope that remains. Thank you.Version: 5.6.1

LoveI was able to take 2 lengthy classes during lockdown... awesome.Version: 5.2.9

Fantastic resourceFantastic resource for building some background knowledge and information in a huge range of creative fields. Great to learn from industry professionals. Highly recommend..Version: 3.7.1

LOVE luvluvluv LOVE 🥰I was taught by my Grandma how to crotchet as a kid, she knew how to knit too and I always wanted to learn to knit but never got around to it before she passed away. I downloaded Skillshare to teach myself, knitting and crotchet makes me feel close to her 🥰..Version: 5.6.1

Keeps crashing (fixed now)The app keeps crashing when I try to start a discussion. What is the point if the app if you can’t ask any questions? —— Update: Finally they have fixed the crash in recent update. Thank you. I have updated my ratings now..Version: 5.5.0

Great way to learn new skills and explore creativityI’ve been using this service to learn how to use Procreate on iPad and the classes are absolutely amazing. Not only did I get introduced to artists like Vashti Harrison but I reconnected with my creative side again. My only request is that you allow for Picture in Picture video playback on iPad. Sometimes I’m watching a video and I would like to exit the app to try out a technique in Procreate without stopping the video but currently this isn’t possible, at least not that I know of. Please keep updating the app and adding new features as this is how I primarily use the service and I rarely go to the website..Version: 5.0.3

You need this in your life!As an illustrator and surface designer, this has been by far my greatest asset in my creative journey and as I work on my iPad Pro daily, the picture in picture feature allows me to watch a class while creating on my iPad at the same time. I cannot recommend it more for those wanting to learn a skill across a range of subjects and you can do it at your own pace and even try the platform for 2 months for free before signing up. What’s not to love..Version: 5.2.16

This app is amazingSkill share is awesome I really like how the lessons split up into different segments and there easy to fallow. Over all its just so much easier to use.Version: 5.4.10

Works like a charmThis app always works and is easy to use. Couldn’t be happier..Version: 5.6.5

Love SkillShare!I’m a little rusty and needed to brush up on my art skills. SkillShare is the perfect app for refreshing and honing your art skills. Thank you SkillShare highly recommend!.Version: 5.4.10

Great listening, not so easy navigationThis app has been very helpful for me. I enjoy listening to the videos while doing tasks around the house, especially if the content doesn’t rely too heavily on visuals. My only complaint is that the navigation system for finding new classes is somewhat outdated in terms of design. Also it’s hard to know if a class is credible, and I’ve seen a range of quality in courses. I wish there were more creators that I could trust on the platform, then I would feel like this is a really quality platform to invest in 100% of the time. But if Skillshare doesn’t get a grip on quality control, people are going to not see the point in paying for a subscription..Version: 5.2.16

Excellent Online Learning ForumSkillshare has provided me with the flexibility to learn when it suits my schedule, in turn boosting my desire to both diversify and further my skill set. I happily will recommend Skillshare to everyone and anyone!.Version: 4.5.31

Quality online classesSo many quality creative classes on offer. Brilliant!.Version: 3.3.4

So many great classesThere are so many classes that are fun or educational. From wanting business guidance to spending a quiet afternoon creating something. There is a class for everyone..Version: 5.0.11

10 Stars if I CouldThis is the best online study experience I have EVER had. I finally found my niche again. The classes are engaging and challenging. You learn SO much. There are so many knowledgable teachers to choose from and they are SO supportive. I love that we have the class project site where we can download class materials, ask questions and post projects. Many of my teachers also offer the chance for questions, discussions and projects, both for class and extra enrichment on Instagram, Facebook and personal websites. Where the student is hungry and willing, the teachers will come. This has been so far and continues to be fan-freaking-tastick as learning opportunities and experiences go. The admin at Skillshare are also courteous and very willing to help you if you have any problems or questions..Version: 5.3.21

Love love love itI just absolutely love skill share . I Was so excited when I had two months of free subscription . Tried a variety of classes and classes from my favourite artist and authors . I m hooked on to it . Highly recommend , I’m subscribed to the premiere version of Skillshare now with unlimited classes for a year . 😍.Version: 5.2.15

SkillshareAbsolutely love it!! I have learnt so so much and I enjoy the variety of courses I can do. Highly recommend. Wonderful Teachers..Version: 5.4.1

Clean. Easy to navigate. Full of content!Worth every penny in my opinion. Takes away time wasting advertisements that are on other apps/sites and all courses are broken down and made easy to follow. Lots of great content to get stuck into and keep me on the right path to learning constantly..Version: 5.3.6

Life changingI’ve been a Skillshare member for so many years now and the varied and excellent courses have helped me investigate my curiosities and gain lots of practical knowledge..Version: 5.4.10

Loving learning new thingsGreat app across iPad and iPhone, I’ve done lots of classes over the last few weeks and have so many in my saved list to do! - one thing I could improve would be to add class resources to the iPad version as I’m mostly using that but have to use a laptop to download resources - I would struggle if I didn’t have a laptop..Version: 5.3.7

Learning potentialI have learned so much found my favourite teachers in all different subjects that interest me . From watercolour painting to learning how to digitise art . This kept me sane throughout lockdown . Excellent value for money subjects to learn are endless !! Highly recommend 🙂.Version: 5.2.15

The App that just keeps giving!I have never been bored with this app’s endless choice of classes to take! Not only creative classes but also ‘business’ side of being a creative - marketing, social media, mock ups. Truly endless! I’ll never get through my ‘to do’ classes list..Version: 5.3.14

Has everything!Very impressed with the quality and content, I am a homeschool mum who has inspiration at my fingertips!.Version: 5.4.3

The best place to learnI find this the best way to learn. I have been with Skillshare for many years with only one short break due to lack of finance, but ended up rejoining within 2 months. I recommend this app to a lot of people..Version: 5.3.12

Thanks to everyone that makes skill share possibleI am so pleased there is now a subscription based platform to learn all that I need for all my interests I am a micro gardener and newbie micro homesteader. I have just begun my journey building my social media presence on you tube Instagram twitter pinterest and I am currently constructing my website. So far everything I have looked for on skill share, I have found including how to thread a basic sewing machine that will allow my to produce my locally sourced beeswax organic cotton sandwich bags. I have so much going on in my life at the moment and this is definitely a personal growing season in my mind body and garden and business are you are Making me feel less alone thank you thanks a million worth every penny !! Much love jennifree EH14.Version: 5.1.6

A great resource! Our whole family uses SkillShare to learn all kinds of things, from hobbies to business skills. And if the course you’ve chosen isn’t quite what you were looking for? No problem, just try another one! It’s all included in your subscription, and that really takes the pressure off. The courses are of excellent quality and vary in length, so you can choose one that’s shorter as an overview, or go in-depth with a longer one. It’s brilliant. We recommend SkillShare to everyone wanting to brush up or level up their skills, from personal to professional..Version: 5.3.1

Simply the bestI adore this app for the joy of opening doors to new, high quality, practical creativity. The chance to access the best people in there specialist fields is so special and something i never thought i’d have a chance to do, let alone afford. Its my go to happy place!.Version: 5.4.15

Skillshare has changed my life!I can’t speak highly enough of Skillshare. As a mature student returning to creative study after a gap of over 30 years (I know, scary!!) so much had changed. Skillshare has helped to plug the gap in my knowledge so that I could make the most of my study. The tutors are inspirational and professional, they give fantastic ideas, hints and tips that really help. It’s wonderful to get their insight. The talent in the Skillshare family is amazing. I really don’t think I could have managed without them. I have accessed hundreds of courses that would have cost me so much more than the subscription fee, had I attended them in person. It’s available day and night and you can always find something new and valuable. Even when my ‘official’ study is over I will continue with Skillshare, in lockdown it has kept me sane and it’s a part of my life now! Thank you!.Version: 5.3.5

Skyrocket your Skills!I’ve said it many times to people I know online and in person that I’ve learnt more from skillshare than I have in my university of 3 years! On Skillshare, you can develop both hard (practical) and soft (personal) skills that you can use in your career and personal development. HIGHLY recommend Skillshare!.Version: 5.2.8

I think it’s great but…There are so many different classes to take, it’s exciting. The app itself needs some work. When I’m in the “suggested for you” section of the app anytime I save a lesson the app bugs out a bit and I have to scroll for ages to get back to where I was, also it would be nice if you could categories your saved classes but other than that I have no complaints it’s an amazing app and has a LOT of potential..Version: 5.4.4

I have been here for 2 years .I have grown my business and started it using this app. I got a referral from a podcast I listen to the side hustle show & watched some lessons and was off and running. I haven’t made tons of money yet but this is my second year amd I have beat my yearly salary this year with the online skills I learned . They could charge a lot more. Some of the lessons are really in depth and tell you everything they ARE NOT ..( I’ll tell you more if you pay) lessons. They are full on classes AND I APRECIATE THEM. Some of my family are here now and friends. Love it . They over deliver..Version: 5.3.25

A happy watercolor newbie!I’ve surprised myself over and over because of the amazing teachers I’ve been following on my watercolor journey. I never thought I’d be able to paint because I was stuck on the idea that I couldn’t draw. I’ve pushed myself to try new ideas and techniques and have stuck with it. Sometimes I’ve started a project several times over before I was able to get the the results I wanted. I’d recommend Skillshare to anyone who is looking for patient and skilled watercolor artists to walk you through the things you need to learn about painting with watercolors. I will admit, now I’m hooked!.Version: 5.3.17

Worth every penny! If you are the kind of person that likes to learn a bit of everything-then Skillshare is definitely for you. Become a Jack/Jane of all trades, upload work and get feedback, and become the artist, writer, marketeer, or cook you’ve been wanting to be!!! They have cool and diverse teachers which makes it i easier to get the skills you want for your particular niche. Going on year 3 of my subscription and I reckon I will keep learning with them as long as its this affordable. You CANNOT beat this level of instruction and options for the price!.Version: 5.5.0

Best app everLove.Version: 5.4.10

Great learning platformI have been learning so many new skills, using skill share. Thank you.Version: 5.3.21

Skillshare is the NO #1 app for learning new things.I’ve tried various apps for learning, none of them have been satisfying so it was with reservation that I tried Skillshare. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The lesson get straight to the subject, the instructors explain everything with clarity and don’t waste any time on unnecessary babbling. For all that you can learn on Skillshare, I find the price to be great. I can actually afford it and for everything that you can learn, I can only say that it’s Amazing! Some of the classes are surprisingly interesting. I have found classes, for example, on designs that I’ve never even thought about. On Skillshare you can discover all kinds of classes that are completely new to you, or new aspects that you can add to skills and knowledge that you already have. If you like to learn new things, I highly recommend Skillshare..Version: 5.2.1

Stumbled upon this gem!I’ve been struggling with time management, and other adhd “co-morbidities” and stumbled upon this website and now app …. Starting with productivity but have so many bookmarks!!! It’s so great to learn in little lessons, so much easier to use than up YouTube for this purpose! Love love love this app!.Version: 5.6.19

Really easy to access and learnAs we can access the lessons through the app at anytime anywhere, it was really helpful me to learn and grow my skills..Version: 5.0.9

Best service for learning yet!I use to use Udemy a lot but it was always a struggle to determine which classes I should invest my money in. Not with Skillshare, unlimited quality content by great tutors who are ready to engage with their audience. Note to developers, it would be great to have the ability to save my classes to a particular folder..Version: 5.2.11

Skill Share is really HelpfulI’m setting up a website & Skillshare has been extremely helpful for me to learn and adapt to today’s style of marketing. Gives a real overview of many areas..Version: 5.3.14

Just a little lackingI like the idea of Skillshare-the class content is great and constantly evolving, the amount of videos and topics is almost overwhelming lol..the app could use some work. I have tons of saved classes and no way to sort through them. Also, I would REALLY like a functional Roku TV app. I hate streaming from my phone and watching it on there-I have incredibly bad vision and watching things on my phone screen (which is an iPhone plus, so not the smallest screen) puts a lot of strain on my eyes. I was able to find a free screen mirroring service to stream to my Roku but it wasn’t the easiest to use and was loaded with ads. My free trial will be up in the beginning of April and I would really like to sign up for an annual subscription but I just can’t justify the cost for something I can’t stream directly to my tv, limiting my ability to really use the service. As of now I have probably 50 classes saved to my list and have only been able to watch maybe 5 of them since I signed up in January, because as I said, the strain on my eyes is too much. Please add a Roku TV app or the ability to mirror directly from the Skillshare app to any tv!.Version: 4.5.29

SkillshareI think it’s amazing that I can learn so may skills online through my iPad. I have pro create but didn’t know how to use it, now I have this opportunity to learn everything I could possibly want at a price of just £7 a month. I’m telling all my friends about it. Thank you.Version: 5.3.27

A great app to useI have to admit that I’m always looking for something that I can get myself into a lot of different things and I like it for sure. I’ve got a few lessons that I will have a look at and I cannot wait. I use to be a lifestyle blogger and I am looking to get myself back into it so this app will be great for me.Version: 5.3.14

Great siteLove having all this learning at my fingertips!.Version: 5.3.15

Variety of classes for a variety of skill levelsFrom beginner to expert, I’ve been using Skillshare to improve skills as well as refresh some old ones. The apps are useful and work fine on both an iPad and iPhone, so far so issues! Would recommend for anyone looking for community based training and education, whether to learn new or work on old skills. No pressure to join in, but it’s great to see everyone’s projects..Version: 5.3.5

No access to course resourcesI love using Skillshare, but I do wish it was possible to access and download course materials on the apps, even if only the iPad app, rather than having to log on to the browser..Version: 5.6.19

Fairytales, Flowers & Moonbeams...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❣️ I LOVE Skillshare❣️ In fact, throughout 2020 I allocated more and more of my “free time” and “downtime” to this app and painting and inking... Also when I wanted to be creative but didn’t feel like sitting down and painting myself, I would watch lessons just for the sheer joy of it. I discovered new favorite art supplies, watercolor techniques, inks, brushes, and papers. I stretched myself to put my class projects out there and I love my instructors. What’s more, I love seeing what other students are creating and I feel like I’ve found my virtual art family which has been a huge blessing for me in 2020. I took my insomnia to art classes and enjoyed the lullabies full of inspiring content, comforting voices, fairy tales, moonbeams, flowers, and sugar plums... Best investment I made in 2020!.Version: 5.3.14

Skill shareTalented artists sharing tips and tricks . Love it! When ever i have free time i sit down and engage in learning a new skill. Kudos.Version: 5.5.5

KudosOne of the best things that has ever happened to me! way to go skillshare.Version: 5.0.5

Awesome app!Love this app! It's introduced me to so many amazing artists, and I've learned so much from it. Sometimes casting to TV's gets a bit glitchy when it proceeds to the next video, which is why I gave four stars!.Version: 5.6.10

Skillshare offers excellent quality, variety and valueI initially signed up for a month long trial of Skillshare to learn a bit more about painting with acrylics, but there are so many outstanding courses offered that I renewed my membership indefinitely without a second thought. The quality and variety of courses offered are impressive, and would be valuable to anyone looking to begin a new hobby, further enrich their existing knowledge in a specific field, or even learn how to turn a skill or talent into a thriving business. There truly is something for everyone, so I would encourage anyone thinking of joining Skillshare to give it a try. You won’t regret it..Version: 5.4.7

You can share it too:Whatever your ability or skill level and ability, there is something here for you. Even if you just watch the videos you will enjoy a new experience- and who knows, you might start up a whole knew interest or awareness! Good luck and enjoy. heelen.Version: 5.3.7

MrI cannot stress this enough, for the amount you pay annually and the value you get, it’s really a no brainer to be honest, I can’t wait to truly improve all aspects of my life thanks to Skillshare and this is coming from a person who is extremely skeptical about a lot of other online course sites.Version: 5.4.18

Skillshare is top notchThe format for skillshare is great for those of us who like a syllabus or outline. You can see where you are going and what the expectations are. It appears that the teachers are well vetted. There are an infinite number of classes and many added weekly. My interest is in art classes and I’ll never run out of urban sketching, drawing and watercolor classes. You can’t go wrong with the price. If I want to take an in person art course locally, I will easily pay the same amount for one course as I would for an unlimited number of courses all year with skillshare. And I can peruse them and the teacher before investing time in a course. You can’t do that at a local gallery. My sister, an accomplished watercolorist bought me a year’s subscription and I will reenrol this coming year..Version: 5.6.1

Develop your art practicesIf you are looking to develop your art practices, learn new ones, or delve into other subjects Skillshare is a must. For one annual cost, I have had access to so many courses, which I can take any time of the day or night. Having the ability to go back and forward, miss or skip a section, is such an advantage. I will be renewing my membership..Version: 5.4.10

I Love This AppWhen you consider the cost of a course is greater than the cost of this app for a year you appreciate the true value of it, especially when it’s every course you you can think of..Version: 5.4.18

Love being able to learn on the goI signed up for Skillshare via the website and then downloaded the app so I could learn what I’d like any time, anywhere. Although not as robust and fully featured as the desktop site, I’m pretty happy with the app itself. I do agree that if I could sort classes I’ve saved by topic, it would really be helpful. When the new IPadOS is available publicly, Safari will be a full fledged desktop class browser so it will be really nice to access those features you can only access right now via the desktop site, i.e. class downloads, etc. In the meantime, I love the variety of classes available on Skillshare and feel the instructors do a great job with their content. Nicely done!.Version: 5.0.9

The best platform to learnThanks to the great organisation of all the classes published on the platform it’s really easy to learn and implement all the knowledge that you may search for. I am learning Art, marketing, meditation and more here from over an year and I am keep learning great content every day from all the amazing teachers on the platform. Thanks to all the great people working on this platform is made the best one for learning. Thank you guys. You are the best!!! P.S. I’ve tried different platforms, but neither one can compare to Skillshare 💞💞 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.Version: 5.3.26

Costs less than art schoolSkillshare has been absolutely amazing for the year-ish I’ve had it. I’ve found a really great set of teachers and more classes than I could possibly watch over the course of this entire year. I love the curated suggestions and OMG the new learning paths are the best for mastering the basics of new skills. My creative side is finally being nurtured thanks to Skillshare and the flexibility it gives me to learn at my own pace while working full time! (And this is all coming from someone who accidentally paid for Skillshare and then was determined to use and now will probably never cancel it…).Version: 5.4.10

Fantastic!!Love it! Well worth the investment!!.Version: 5.4.10

Superb! Everything you need to learn!Love this app because anything you want to learn is here on this app by wonderful instructors! Definitely worth the money!!!.Version: 5.1.0

Awesome! So many classes on so many different things. Feeling like a kid again, getting introduced to so many new things! Except this time, it's with the pros!.Version: 5.0.12

So close to perfectionThis is such a Great app honestly, I love using it to learn new stuff but I have one issue and that’s that I can’t upload any classes from my phone at all, this app would be perfect if you are able to upload a video from your phone instead of having to go through steps to upload it onto your laptop onto the website it would also make it more easygoing for newcomers like myself and more approachable.Version: 5.2.4

Great creative place!I used to love Lynda.com and used it for years but once it got taken over by LinkedIn it lost that creative tribe feel... it became all corporate and business focussed. So I was looking for a space where real creative people were interacting and where I could feel their authenticity - Skill share is it! I love it!.Version: 4.5.22

Love the service; app itself can be a little clunkyI absolutely love Skillshare. They have a wide range of courses on a wide range of topics, and not just ones related to creativity either. Most of the classes are of pretty good quality, and are very informative. The app itself, however, is a little bit clunky at times. You can’t reorganise your saved classes into playlists (you can only do that in a browser) sometimes the search function glitches and it can be awkward navigating between classes. These are only minor inconveniences, however, and the service has overall been pretty excellent..Version: 5.3.15

So much varietySo far so good. Being a new subscriber I was amazed at the variety of classes. Not all of interest, but still so many. The classes I have watched so far have been very high quality, with excellent presenters..Version: 5.2.15

LesleyThis is a brilliant way to learn new things and ‘dabble’ at whatever your heart desires. Teachers provide easy step by step lessons, creative, fun and extremely cost effective !!.Version: 5.3.8

Friendly short videos to learnI like Skillshare because I’ve found a variety of courses, ranging from hard sciences including coding to art, and even for hair cuts. I love that the videos are short, so you can progress even a little bit every day..Version: 5.4.10

Some great classesI finally bit the bullet and signed up for Skillshare. I am so pleased I did, there are some great classes with the bonus of some fantastic resources from many of the teachers. I am interested in graphic design and surface pattern design and the courses I have taken so far have been invaluable and saved me hours of research time..Version: 5.3.10

SkillshareLove it! Only wish I had more time to create as I have been so inspired by the classes I have watched. Recommend to anyone needing a creative jumpstart..Version: 3.6.0

The iPad app has some UX annoyancesJust signed up to Skillshare this week & am already loving the platform as a learning tool, there seem to be oodles of classes & the quality of content & presentation in the videos is excellent. The iPad app could definitely do with some love, however. It’s lacking some features of the website, such as no way to Browse all courses, only the popular ones. Worse though, you can get stuck down a navigation hole if you keep clicking stuff, with no way to get back to the Home Screen except clicking back again through every viewed page!! So incredibly frustrating. Why isn’t there a Home button on every screen?! I would love these things to be improved in the iPad app..Version: 5.3.25

Surpassed my expectationsI got a free trial and thought that I was going cancel before the month is up. Nope. I’m going to gladly pay for the year. Very captivating. I binge on the classes. I went from broke to illustrator in less than 30 days thanks to Skillshare. No ads no distraction. Once you open the app success is there lurking and waiting to gobble you up.Version: 5.4.18

Great for upskilling and starting outWith a huge variety of credible instructors, I found this a great way to improve my skills as well as learning new ones at times that are convenient for me..Version: 4.5.24

Wow!It’s a really good app because im an anime artist, and when i search for things, they come up with exactly what i need! Also, the lessons are very good in general, they’re spilt into separate parts so i could go back to one if i needed to see it again..Version: 5.4.10

I love itI love how many options there are on here - both short & long courses & the teachers are passionate, thoughtful & clearly love what they do..Version: 5.5.6

Review for skill share using the art tutorials. This is my second year using skill share and I have found many different mediums to work in. The tutors have been exceptional and it has enabled me to access courses that other wise I would not have found in my local area. I have used tutors working in all mediums and also tried Froyal with her use of collage which was very interesting and would certainly not have used them if I had not enrolled in skill share. Thank you skill share..Version: 5.6.15

Love all the content and classes!Skillshare is an amazing app that helps bridge the gap of knowledge I lack. I’m fairly behind my peers in technical skills and having this as a resource helps a lot. But, the app on iPad is laggy especially when scrolling. The ability to download content for when I have to travel is probably the only reason I use the app over the web version. For concept 5 stars but for app experience 4 stars. Overall I love it though..Version: 5.6.10

Fantastic Classes for Artists and Waaay More!I joined Skillshare about a month ago and I absolutely love it. There are so many classes to try and I haven’t yet come across a bad teacher. I love painting and since I haven’t painted it in four years, I was a bit nervous. Watching these classes and learning from the teachers step-by-step really gave me the confidence to try painting again. There are loads of other classes, as well, on anything from photography to gaming. I also watch classes on self empowerment and business, so the app is so varied and anyone would find classes tailored to them. If you can afford it, definitely buy a subscription for one year because, trust me, it’s worth it. You can interact with the teachers and ask questions and get feedback on your artwork. After the first class, I felt really happy painting and when I uploaded my work, my teacher gave me great feedback and it boosted my confidence. I really recommend Skillshare to anyone. The only tiny issue I have is that sometimes the app can stop for no reason. Just reboot the app if that happens and it will work fine. Love Skillshare!.Version: 4.5.30

Wonderful way to learn. Pick a topic....So glad I joined up! There’s so much to be inspired by - Great opportunities to learn from many skilled professionals who generously pass on what they know. I’d rather be participating in a Skillshare class than watching tv !.Version: 4.5.22

Excellent. Great way to learnThis app has been really helpful to watch skillshare classes when I'm out and about. Highly recommend it.Version: 3.2.1

I love SkillshareI’ve learned so much from Skillshare. It’s worth every penny many times over. There is so much to learn. And we have so much more confidence in ourselves when we learn more skills..Version: 5.2.9

Awesome appGave it 4 stars because the app is great but the price for subscription is a bit expensive. I have a month free trial but i wont be purchasing it once its over. Can’t justify spending that amount.Version: 5.4.6

Not all functionsI love the courses and I really like that I can have some lessons offline. But it is a bit strange that you cant download the extra materials referred to in the lessons and you have to go into the browser to find them and filtering classes seems to not always work correctly either. Besides that, im enjoying the courses a lot..Version: 5.4.15

Makes a huge difference!!Before skillshare I would just doodle here and there and wasn’t even thinking of being an artist as I didn’t know that I could create quality sketches. I came across skillshare and downloaded it for fun, but after only taking a few classes I can now sketch realistic portraits!! I highly recommend downloading this app even if you have the slightest interest in art because you may never know the true talents that you have hidden… all it takes is a little bit of guidance. I would give 10 stars if I could!!.Version: 5.4.16

I love skillshareI have been a premium member for 11 months now and I love it as I can take the classes and complete the class projects at my own pace. I like the bite size lessons that you can take each day as a way to have some downtime, as little as 15 minutes and learn as well. Skillshare is for everyone wanting to upskill without breaking the bank, without ads and the variety of teachers and classes are amazing..Version: 5.3.27

BrilliantWhatever you want to learn, investigate or research it is all here. Skillshare is a brilliant platform for creatives to share their wisdom on their trades and give you great tips, hints and projects to do. I have found it so interesting and in a few short sessions I have improved my photography skills. If you are starting an online business take a look at the Skillshare videos... brilliant..Version: 4.5.22

I love Skillshare!!I can’t give the app 5 stars but the site is 5 stars. The variety of classes, the encouragement from both the teachers and the workshop coordinators, and the ability to share my projects all combine very well to keep me engaged and inspired to stay active. However, the app fails to allow me to post my projects and to access workshops easily. The only nice thing about the app is the ability to download classes to access when WiFi isn’t available. It was nice to continue classes while out at the desert camping. There is a cost for being able to continue taking all. They offered a reduced price from the $100/year cost. I don’t recall exactly, maybe $60-70. I feel like I will have definitely gotten my money’s worth based on the amount of classes I’ve taken. The 2-month trial they offer is perfect for determining if you will enjoy the site. So it’s painless to give it a try. I just suggest that if you are having any frustrations with navigating, go to the site instead of working on the app. Save the app for just watching the classes you’ve already started..Version: 5.2.15

Skillshare is amazing, the app needs a little workI absolutely love using skillshare to learn new skills and share my work with others in my class and I recommend it to everyone I speak to. The app however needs a bit of work. While it runs smoothly, it limits the amount of access you have and isn’t the same as using the website in safari. You aren’t able to see the resources or projects in the classes as you can online and it’s hard to organise your saved classes in the app like you can online. Which is a shame. This just makes me use the site on safari more than the app. One positive for the app is that you can download the classes and watch them offline which is great because they use a lot of data to watch..Version: 5.3.1

Excellent platform for learningI signed up on 1st January 2019. My goal this year is to be more creative. I shopped around and it seemed Skillshare had the most of what I wanted to learn. Skillshare did not disappoint. The teachers are excellent, as is the content. I’ve already completed two classes and am on my third. My creativity and skill level is already beyond what I’d hoped. A worthy investment for me..Version: 4.5.25

Fantastic content!I just love that creativity is so accessible through skill share. Love being able to dabble in lots of different forms of creativity.Version: 5.3.19

A Fun, Inspiring Journey for Lifelong Learners!I have learned so much from Skillshare classes, especially the ones taught by Rosalie Haislett and Mike Lowery. Perfect for people who don’t always have the time (or money) to commit to a lengthy class but wish to learn the basics or just be inspired to try something new. Instead of scrolling mindlessly thru social media, i have trained myself to watch Skillshare classes when i have “downtime” and need something fun and creative to relax and to stimulate my brain. The affordability really helps too, as i can try out new hobbies/classes without breaking the bank..Version: 5.4.7
