✓ The reviews misled meI’m a bit annoyed with the reviews... I spent an entire night wasted on trying to make other apps work for me when this is exactly what I needed, but I was dissuaded by other reviews. I’m not trying to do anything fancy, I just want something better than a notepad to plan and imagine the interior of my new home. This is it! Easy to use, enough to get the gist of what I’m trying to do... doesn’t cost $20 when all I’m trying to do is some simple plotting and planning - perfect. ✓ Absolutely Fantastic!I've had this app for a day now; I've never been so entertained in my life! It's full of furniture, buildings and and colour; maybe in the future you can add kitchen accessories and more furniture as there is only a limit of furniture..Version: 2.4
✓ Overall it's good, but needs helpI like that it's easy to use, though it's not very accurate when planning a space. It doesn't account for the walls needing to be 20 cm thick, so you actually lose space when building. Also frustrating is the stairs don't have measurements, or values that tell you how steep they are. You can't put anything under them, build walls under them...or choose how many steps you want. It would be nice to have human models to see how the space relates to human sizes. No second or third floors... There's no way to draw your plot of land to put the room on. No way to elevate the house's base. The custom cube is handy, but again, it's missing its measurements. Also the walls aren't locked. I keep moving them by mistake. I wound love to return to build mode if I need to leave the decorate mode. I think for a free app, it's really good, and easy to use, especially since it's ad free. If you charged like $5 for a really good designing app with the above features, I'd pay for it..Version: 2.7

✓ Great concept, well made and interactiveMy first impressions of the app were the cool, slick design and how interactive it was. If you're not a student or professional in the field like me, the app can easily be used or for your own entertainment. Amikasa gives you the ability to explore your creativity. The resolution is great, making the furniture and setting almost look real. The app can also take great looking photos of your project so you can offer your friends feedback on your ideas. What I disliked about Amikasa is that a lot of unwanted selection occurs due to the sensitive touch mechanics. Manoeuvring around your project is still quite tricky and it takes some time to get used to the navigation in each view mode..Version: 1.8

✓ Blown awayThis an amazing app!!! I love how when u mace the phone what ur looking at on the screen moves with u it really makes u feel like ur in the house. There are some changes that I’d want to see happen tho. I noticed meant times that when u design a kitchen the choices to make it aren’t modern/ contemporary at all. And when colour a wall let’s say purple it will show up as purple on the other side of the wall in a diff room so u can’t have any accent walls unless u want the other room to have the same one. Another thing is there is laundry u can have a washer or a dryer. One last thing... the doors! The doors kill me from the inside they only have or chose of door on the interior walls like let’s say u want to have a front hall closet? What do u do? Use the same door for it as the ones on r bedroom doors? I don’t think so. Although it sounds like this is a really bad review this is the kind of app that I’ve been looking for forever..Version: 2.7

But I am actually trying to use in construction & I find it impossible to delete exterior wall sections (put in by mistake) NEED DELETE EXTERIOR WALL SECTION-as I’m now stuck w wall sections that don’t exist. I can’t make dimensions right. This is a 100 -yr old Spanish style w lots of nooks in exterior wall shape..Version: 2.7

✓ Truly fantastic app!I LOVE this app! First of all, it's FREE. Totally and completely free - no ads, no push to have an account where they could send tons of junk, no "limited" access. It's full access for all! I am by no means an interior designer, but this app has allowed me to visualize my whole house and make decisions on what to buy/where to place items. It's a life saver! The app is pretty easy to use. It's different from other apps in that it has a very realistic feel by using 3D and augmented reality. I actually feel like I'm walking through my own house! There is a good selection of furniture/decor options. Obviously there could always be more, but there is enough to find something that will work..Version: 2.7

✓ Great app, needs some things thoughThis app is great. However, it needs some improvements. Could you add in multiple indoor door models, and, allow for a more advanced way to make rooms, and could you also add making a house, not just one room with walls doors and one type of floor. Also, this app would be great for PC VR. Such as, if it was released for free on the Oculus store for Oculus Rift + Touch controllers. You should also put it on SteamVR for the HTC Vive with Vive Wand controller support..Version: 2.7
✓ Works great, but wish it had more.I love this app! However, since I’m trying to design a house plan and not just one room, I find that I’m limited with what I can do. I wish I had the ability to add exterior walls (so I can create more than just a rectangular shaped house plan). Also, having the option to have a cornered stair case instead of just straight and the ability to design a second floor with it, would be great! ✓ Kitchen missing!The Amikasa app is great for getting the perfect home, but half of the kitchen is missing! There are fridges, island benches and an abundance of appliances, but no cupboards or even an oven. ✓ Great design appI'm absolutely loving this app but the furnishings are very limited. Please add more furniture and room options. Bathrooms, kitchens etc. Desks, computers, chairs, gaming consoles, shelfs, raised floors mid way through a room, 2 tone floor layouts, monitors, mirrors, more radiators and options for colours, more ceiling lighting like spot lights and strip lights. The way a door opens hinge side, window layouts, radiator designs and colours, led strips lights, skirting boards, musical instruments, Perspex wall panels, plants, telephones, cushions. Surely you can get backing and advertising from so many suppliers wanting to show off their products. This is a great design app it just needs more stuff to design with. I love how it all works seamlessly. I would pay for a better version with more stuff and more design options to allow you to create your own shapes on walls etc, alcoves, light boxes, ceiling voids and roof lights. Great app :-) keep the updates coming Loads of scope currently very limited furniture but love how everything moves and functions great app for room design..Version: 2.1

The only issue so far is getting adjacent walls the same color and lack of window and door styles. The furniture assets, color choices and texture options are stellar.
