✓ BugsJust tried it out. Can't believe they didn't test their app. When you go to select a location, it actually selects the one below it. I tried a few different locations and they all did the same thing. So to add a location I have to tap on the one on the list above it. Its location search itself doesn't always work. I looked for Salem and nothing showed up. Then I did a search of "Salem, M" only because I know what county it's in. And it finally brought it up as an option. Buggy app which makes me distrust the weather readings it provides for an area are incorrect..Version: 1.0

✓ There's always that one thing…… its faultless, everything you need to know on one screen. Simple good/bad readings with tonnes of info. BUT it's really annoying having to scroll back to the top every time you want to look what time that row is in. ✓ Why default to Devon!This seems like a very basic flaw, and the home page should show the current location. How many people in the world are going to want Devon as their default location? The default should be current location unless a user specifies a different location. Also the location page isn’t very accurate, it picks towns/cities a long way from the actual place I want to pick. Most astronomers are going to visit darker skies, so naturally that will be away from large populations. Having the location search only find large towns & cities isn’t helpful. Examples looking for Edale in the Peak District comes up with Manchester, trying Monyash defaults to Bakewell.Version: 1.0

✓ Problems but still a decent appThis is a good app for photographers. Paired with an app like Photo Pills one can get a reasonable estimate of conditions for landscape photography. The problem with the app is that the developer isn’t very responsive. A comment was made a year ago about the inability to change the temperature from Centigrade to Fahrenheit and it hasn’t been implemented. I guess with Brexit they haven’t had the time to make a rather simple improvement. Plus the documentation is totally lacking. I had to read the reviews to finally figure out how to change the default home location from the U.K. To my home in the U.S..Version: 1.0

✓ Really annoying defaulting to developers location!It's a great app as a photographer, it shows good detail on cloud cover and likely conditions, and generally has been pretty reliable. It's a solid gold 5 star app, except... ...except the opening 'home' page is for the developers location in Devon. And there's no way to change it. I don't use the app enough to remember I have to click 'current location' at the bottom to show me a different location. I really don't understand. It feels bad to moan about a free app that I really appreciate, but it's really annoying nonetheless and you'd think it'd be an easy fix..Version: 1.0
✓ Helpful and useful for AstronomyGet cloud predictions at different altitudes, sky brightness, ISS flyovers etc. Just about any detail that would affect astronomy viewing is listed in a easy to understand format. Selecting a location can be frustrating as there is a bug but it can be overcome by typing enough name detail to eliminate multiple possibilities. Otherwise the app works well..Version: 1.0

✓ Dew pointTHE only free app that give Dew Point forecast. At 500kB, this app is a gem and launches extremely fast. Yes it has small issues but there are workarounds for every one so I find it very underrated! I hope they update the forecast source after darksky shuts down, but keep the UI the same and app size low.Version: 1.0

✓ JoshThis app works a treat for an amateur astronomer like me. Can have different 'favourited' locations or just easily tap the button to show your current location (in case you're in the middle of nowhere and need a cloud forecast!) Originally, I only needed app that told me what the cloud cover would be like - since I live in England, a super clear night is always a rarity. However, knowing other conditions like fog, temperature etc means I can plan out an entire night of looking through the telescope, rather than being disappointed when I find I can't see anything. Overall a great FREE app ! No paid add-ons, just a great gift to astronomers new and experienced..Version: 1.0
✓ Superb simple little app with plenty of infoI've been using this app for only a short time but from a landscape photographer's viewpoint the app is really useful, giving clear & simple ratings for visibility, chance of rain and the really great division of cloud cover into low, medium & high (high clouds make good sunsets, low clouds ruin them) plus a summary of the ephemera for the sun & moon. Seems pretty accurate based on my home location. Suggestions to the app builders? - Rise/set times & bearings for the galactic centre (gamma 2 Sagittarius or A* sgr) for planning Milky Way photography - a notification to let you know that there should be a dark, moonless night and if possible that it should be relatively clear skies.Version: 1.0

✓ Excellent and Accurate!I don’t know why the low reviews. This weekend, it told me that there was a narrow 4 hour window of sunshine and clear skies near the South Fork of the Snake. It permitted me to miss days of coming clouds and nail some autumn foliage when I was free to shoot. This is really, really useful! I hope that it keeps being developed!.Version: 1.0

✓ Excellent Astronomy ToolI have tried out a lot of apps in the past that are supposed to show the observing condition for astronomy. None were as good as the Clear Outside website, and now it's available as an app. It's a great tool and shows you all the information you need to know if you stand any chance of some astronomy (essential in the UK!) even tells you the weather! You can’t set a locations to be the default location after you have created it. You can’t determine what the data sources is. You can’t set the units of measure. ✓ Excellent App with one major and idiotic flawThis app is fantastic, it’s very useful and reasonably easy to use. Sure, the interface looks like it belongs on an iPhone 3, but the information is there. The one major and infuriating flaw is that the app only allows you to enter *positive* latitude and longitude coordinates. So you can’t set locations outside of cities in all of America or the Southern Hemisphere. Pretty stupid oversight that demonstrates the Eurasian bias of the developers (lol)..Version: 1.0
