Won’t show imagesI love using this app, I think it’s really great and useful. However, I am constantly having to fully close my app, reopen it, and search for the item I was looking at over again, because it stops showing images. It’s not like I am on the app for hours and it stops working, it’s probably less than five minutes before it stops showing images. It’s rather annoying and I wish this could be fixed. I’ve seen other reviews about this and nice to know it’s not my phone having issues but the app itself..Version: 3.3.1

Great but NEEDS an updateI liked the checklist and the ease of adding items to my registry. Very frustrating that I click “keep me signed in” and it signs me out EVERY TIME. You should probably let us know if an item is out of stock because it would be nice to replace the item with something else. I found this out when a friend was looking at my registry online it showed her out of stock products ... but you don’t show me ?! You need to update this app. Soon..Version: 2020.3.0

Can’t track purchases through app & images won’t load continuously.It’s a great app except that after a few minutes of browsing the images won’t continue to load so then you’ll have to exit the app and try to scroll down fast to where you left off. The other thing that bothers me with the registry app there’s no way to track purchased items, just to see when they are coming you’d have to go on the target website..Version: 2020.1.0

Target registry - Not as easy as it seemsThis app has not been great. Have had multiple issues returning items when gifted and not on registry list, or getting discount for items that are different color way of same item on list. Very annoying as you are limited by what is in store and the list dies not accommodate for availability or alternates that are same brand/price. Also - the barcode for returns is ONLY available in app and can’t be accessed from signing into registry online - it took us 20 mins to figure that out at customer service. Not everyone wants an extra app! This should be easier for staff and users..Version: 3.2.1

Easy to use, but...The registry is very user friendly set up from the app and add items. I am giving this 3 stars because the biggest drawback is that it does not show you in this app if the item is out of stock. Target doesn’t always restock everything, especially the trendy items, so if you are wanting everything in a theme, you won’t know strictly from this app if something is out of stock or not. You will have to use an internet browser or check your registry items via the regular Target app..Version: 2020.1.0

Tons of “Item Unavailable,” unable to filter outIt seems the majority of items listed are “unavailable,” for ordering online/pickup/anything, despite it saying otherwise in the descriptions. Definitely having regrets making this my baby registry due to how difficult it is to comb through all of the “unavailable” items and find items I can add to my registry. There is no way to filter out the massive amount of “unavailable” items during a search. A simple search for “baby pajamas” reveals 700 items, a majority of them unavailable. Unable to Add Items to Baby RegistryPlease advise: I have both the Target and Target Registry mobile apps, and when browsing for items on the registry app on my phone they show as unavailable but on the Target app all options for purchase are available - same day delivery, pickup and shipping. I did the same search on the Target website using my computer and successfully added the same items to my baby registry that showed unavailable on the registry mobile app. Less items show in the same search on the Target Registry vs Target mobile apps, for example crib sheets. Improvement suggestion: It would be helpful to have the “Add to Registry” option in the mobile Target app similar to the Target website, if possible..Version: 2020.2.0

Won’t show images consistentlyI love the idea and the purpose for this app. The system is very easy to use, the ability to scan the barcode in the store is very handy, and there is a plethora of reviews for each product. The one MAJOR drawback is that the app seems to have a limited capacity for loading and displaying images. I’ll get about halfway down a section of products and the images will stop displaying. When you click on the product to view the images and description, the image is a stock photo of a grey gift with the Target logo on it. I am using this app to register for my first baby. I don’t know a lot about the products, so seeing pictures to compare items is SO IMPORTANT. I am getting incredibly frustrated with the lack of images. The only way I have found to fix the issue is to close out the app entirely and reload it. However, this is time consuming and causes me to lose my place on the registry app. I have to go back through the shopping menu and scroll down halfway through the cribs to pick up where I left off, and even after that there is no guarantee that the app will not stop loading at almost the same place I was before. The app seems to work better on my iPhone than my iPad, but either way it is really unreliable with photos. I am anxiously awaiting the fix to this very frustrating bug with the system..Version: 3.3.1

Can’t add any new items from appLike anyone else I have a deep target obsession so naturally I picked them for our wedding registry. Unfortunately, ever since I have downloaded it I am unable to add any items to my registry from the app itself. It always says “Item Unavailable” no matter what item I pick, no matter what department. I am not sure if stock is beyond limited because of COVID or my friends in the Philadelphia area are just true target addicts and got to it before I did, lol. Will try to use the scan feature in store and maybe will have better luck! Love the concept though and definitely helpful in keeping everything organized..Version: 2020.1.0

Great app BUT...The target registry app is generally a good app BUT I must warn you that they do not consistently notify you of when your registry items are being shipped and delivered. There’s no way to track it. I only received one notification and it doesn’t even tell me the contents of the package. Come to find out, I received not one package but FIVE packages. So TARGET needs to be much better about notifying their registry clients! Come on Target. I know this is not your first rodeo at this game. You want to claim customer/client service centric service then you must demonstrate it!.Version: 2020.2.0

Images Don’t Load WellDownloaded the app for a baby registry and although it’s easy to set up your registry details, adding items is another story. The images for items often don’t load so you can’t efficiently browse and easily add items. Tried the app multiple times and this has been the case every time. Haven’t been able to complete my registry. Wish it was as easy to use as the regular target app. Also cannot select items based on the store of your preference..Version: 3.3.1

Good app but glitchyI was so excited to start our wedding registry at target! We downloaded this app and I love the different tabs, the checklist, tips, etc. I also thought the “most wanted” and “leave a note” options were great. And it’s been really helpful to see things organized to their category, such as “kitchen”, “outdoors,” etc, and has given it a really pleasing look. My issues is that the app keeps getting glitchy where it sometimes will show me a whole category of items, sometimes it will only show me 10 of the 250 items to view. Other times it will show that there isn’t an image available, but if I exit out of the app and go back in, then it shows up fine. But then I move to the next category or search and it’s not showing images again. It’s made creating the registry difficult and even more time consuming. Hoping an update could fix this! Doesn’t give you all options / out of stockIt’s convenient to have all of your items and list in one app, however there are so many glitches. When you click on an item, it often says unavailable, but from the scrolling list, it’ll add from there or from the website. If you look at nursery sets, it doesn’t show you options to shop the entire collection or similar items. It doesn’t let you know at the time of adding items to your registry if the items are out of stock or discontinued. It’s not favorable..Version: 2020.3.0

Huge NuisanceMy husband and I researched comparable items and spent time reading tons of reviews before we would decide on an item to add to our registry and almost every day I get notifications that list several of the items on our registry that are ‘no longer available.’ And it’s not even like they are uncommon items. It can be anything from thermometers to other basic items that I can’t see not being available anymore. We have made our own checklist and each time something gets discontinued it messes up our list so we don’t know what we are missing without going through the entire registry again. Not to mention most of the items are only available online which really limits the options for people who don’t shop online such as grandparents and great aunts and uncles..Version: 3.2.1

It’s alrightA lot of the items I would choose on the target registry would say that they are unavailable but then I would go to the Target app and look for it there and they did have it at my store and other around me so that was really annoying that on the Registry app it would say not available but it was available in the Target app. I would recommend to go to the stores and scan the item for your registry, I had to do that to make sure the items were at the stores..Version: 2020.1.0

No tracking information available?The biggest problem I’ve had with my Registry through Target is shipping. I wish that information was available on the app but I don’t see it at all, not even a tracking number. Even if it sent you to a web browser page I would really appreciate a way to get to shipping/tracking information through the app. Otherwise it seems to work fine for it’s intended purpose..Version: 2020.3.0

ProblemsThe app has many useful features, however when the first few gifts were purchased I could see who bought each item, in fact, I was asked if I wanted this feature. Now it is not showing who buys each item and I see no place to change this or contact Target to ask about it. This makes the app not very user friendly to me. Especially during this time of corona virus, my in-person shower was cancelled so it would be so helpful to know on the app who is buying each item so I can be sure and send a thank you note to the right person. I would really appreciate this being fixed or having a place where this feature could be turned on or off. Eh 🤷🏽‍♀️I wanted to like this app. It was supposed to make everything super easy. But when I am at home working on my registry, the app cannot seem to load the images of items from the search engine. It periodically won’t load photos for hundreds of items. I get off and come back an hour later, it might. I have solid internet connection so that is not the issue. I haven’t really been able to notice anything else that’s glitchy but that’s probably because I just don’t use the app much now..Version: 3.3.1

Registry IssueI have always loved this app! I have an on going registry for Birthday/Christmas ideas for my daughter for friends and family to shop off of. The last few months I have not been able to see the registry to delete items that are no longer available, or I’ll add an item and it won’t show up on there. If these issue could be fixed I would definitely keep using it. Kicker, I have a registry for my husband and I and our’s works just fine. It’s just my daughters that has issues..Version: 2020.3.0

Not Happy!I've been using this app for my registry exclusively. I thought it was wonderful until now. My stroller on the app just shows it's sold online, not in stores, and is on my registry. Ok, fine. So I'm led to believe it's in stock & can be purchased online only. NOT TRUE. It is OUT OF STOCK and I have no clue or even when it went out of stock. What good is this app to me if I have no idea if Items are out of stock?! This app is then USELESS & I'm extremely disappointed. This needs to be fixed. Until then I'll have to use my mobile web browser. SMH. It's a shame bc it's been a great app until this discovery..Version: 2.1.5

Not a fanI’m not a fan of this app. It is easy to use, but one thing I liked with target and the reason we used only them to register for our baby was because we could add stuff from other sites to our registry to keep it all in one place. But with the app you can only see what you have added from target. The other website stuff doesn’t show at all. I just deleted it and used my safari app to manage my registry..Version: 2.1.0

Functional and necessary, but needs fixedI like the app and it’s use. However, it doesn’t always load my main screen and I can’t see if anyone has purchased anything or when my coupon will be ready. Another issue I have with it is that if I add an item on accident, I have to go all the way back to my registry to remove it instead of “unchecking” the item as soon as I accidentally add it. I also would like to add more than one size of an item (ie. swim diapers)- I can only add one size of each item..Version: 2020.1.0

Can not access existing registry through the appThe Target Registry app was working perfectly when I first downloaded it to my phone and initiated my baby registry. I absolutely loved it, there were no issues and getting around the app was easy and fun. However 2 days went by and I tried opening the app and found I had been signed out. I really didn’t find it an issue just thought I’d log back in BUT when I was given the option to chose whether “yes” I have a Target registry or “no” I went ahead and pressed yes but the new screen that popped up which would’ve been the sign in screen never loaded, just stays blank white. I have tried re downloading the app and also used a different device and I get the same problem..Version: 2020.1.0

OutdatedI like the idea of the app, and while it is easy to use, I’ve come across a lot of products that are no longer available. Some products still show up and actually say unavailable, but I’m fallen in love with a couple items and then when you try to find on Target’s website, you learn the items are discontinued. Also wish you could search by what’s in stock at your local Target store..Version: 3.3.1

Great Shopping Experience, Poor Gift TrackingThe app is fantastic and easy to use while shopping. However, after gifts are purchased it has been a complete nightmare trying to track purchased gifts and deliveries. The gift receivers have to visit the target website in a browser to check when the gifts are arriving because tracking info, and notifications are sent to the gift purchaser. Not to mention the delivery dates in the target browser and Registry App are both inconsistent with the info provided by shipping companies. Also the items on the registry take a couple of days for their “status” to update..Version: 2020.2.0

Baby RegistryAbsolutely terrible. Which is very disappointing because I love target which is why I thought I would make my baby registry through them. I've had nothing but a nightmare with it every time I add an item the next day it's "not available" "out of stock" and I keep setting my store to my local green valley Henderson Nevada store and i Kid you not every 30 minutes it sets back as some "Culver City" target in CALIFORNIA?! I don't live in California! I'm scared for anyone to even order anything for me off the registry scared that it's not gonna get delivered to me.Version: 3.2.2

FrustratingI only registered with Target to make it easier on my shower guests and I have found the app and registering in general very frustrating. As my shower date grows closer I’ve noticed people weren’t buying my “most wanted” selections and I guessed it was because most of them are online only, not in stores. Plus as it’s getting closer to my shower date less people are going to have things shipped so I decided to switch around some items so they can be found in stores. First, even when I filter my searches to only show items available in-store it still shows online only items. Second, after reading descriptions and reviews on several types of one item and finally deciding on one it immediately says “item no longer available” in my registry. Why did allow me to add it then?? This happened with 4 different diaper bags today... I’m beginning to worry I won’t get the items I truly need because too many things aren’t available in stores. Guess I’ll have to physically go to the store and register for some items. I am wishing now I had registered with more than one place...Version: 3.1.1

Not user friendlyEverything with Target is supposed to user friendly, but it’s far from it. Why would you create another app for the registry instead of putting it in the Target app? It’s 2018 Target, get with it. So I have to download this app and I can’t even do a return with it. Instead it wants me to PRINT my list or log into the devices at the store. Hello? Print? So after I jump through all the hoops and make my return, I look at my list and it says the items I just returned haven’t been purchased. Why would I want someone to buy me more of what I just returned? Now I need to delete the item off my list. I will be deleting my Target registry instead. My business will go to the retailers who don’t make having a registry an all day project..Version: 2.1.1

Good AppI love this app for my baby registry, it’s easy to add and remove things. I love that it has the “Most Wanted” feature, so I can organize which items I’d rather have over the others. The only thing I don’t like is how when people look at the registry from my link, it says that some items are out of stock online and in-stores, but after the page is refreshed, it shows that they are available either online or in-store. Out of stockThe app itself is fine. I would say I wish it would also let you shop the registry and/or view as friends and family. It makes it really hard trying to register when nothing stays in stock. Things are constantly out of stock on line and they carry a very small selection of baby things in the store. I add something I want, then it seems like in no time I go back and check and it’s no longer available or out of stock..Version: 3.0.11

Very frustrating to use!I registered for over 100 items, but only 40 of those items were actually available in the store. It would have been nice to have the option to register with a “in store” feature. That feature is available, but it doesn’t stay onto the account. It goes away after an item is available on your registry. So you have to remember to add that option every. single. time. you. add. an. item. to. your. registry!!! Also, my last name is actually my maiden name + married name. Well, Target will only search by one or the other, not both. That means if my last name is “Smith Johnson” then those who type in “Johnson” will not pull up my registry. It’s utter crap! I missed out on a lot of essential items simple because people could not locate my registry in the store..Version: 3.1.1
