✓ Waste of time and moneyThe app is misrepresented on the Apple store site. The iOS app is inexpensive but it’s catch bait BEWARE: it’s useless without buying the “power pack” for the MacBook Pro which is in British pounds @ $1.4/lb do >$30. It’s somewhere between childish and dysfunctional. It took about an hour to figure out how to connect the iPhoneX and then the functionality was minimal. Day 2 could not reconnect. Ok so forget about a few $ for an app but the system is constructed in a idiosyncratic way. Just a huge waste of time and money..Version: 1.1

✓ Out of production?How has this app not been updated in THREE YEARS? I love Alfred and am used to a pretty regular and stable release schedule with the Mac app. I’m amazed, especially after a recent paid upgrade, that this remote app is still listed as a feature on Mac, but hasn’t received so much as a update to newer screen resolutions. ✓ Meh. Not as good as it could be.Compared to something like Elgato Streamdeck, this is an app that leaves the user wanting more. Alfred on the Mac is very useful but takes a lot of time setting things up and the iPad version is pretty much the same, it takes a lot of setting up. It would be nice if we could shrink the sidebar, if the Mac app would replicate the chosen grid layout, etc. I do like how it stays awake though - even when the Mac goes to sleep. However, I’m sticking to Streamdeck - which I didn’t discover before buying this app else I wouldn’t have bought it..Version: 1.5

✓ UselessBeen waiting for this for a while and it's a big disappointment. Where Alfred for Mac is an essential simple and discreet tool, Alfred Remote is a mess with no purpose. You can launch apps, you can customise a lot of things, you can open Alfred on your Mac with your phone... But then you can't type anything or control the mouse. There is no keyboard or mobile mouse available at all in this app. So you can open Google but you can't search (or you have to open another app with remote mouse/keyboard). This app terribly needs the minimalism and genius of Alfred for Mac, by putting for example a voice command when it opens Alfred or by adding a remote mouse/keyboard..Version: 1.0
✓ Not NecessaryI have found that I can do things much faster launching things using Alfred on my Mac faster than looking over at my iPad and then searching for a command..Version: 1.0

I do and it works--once--then I have to download it again the next time I want to use it. ✓ Can, but why?I know this app hasn’t been updated in a while, but it is a missed opportunity. The level of remote access that this has to my Mac could be used to do so much more.
