✓ SeesawHello Seesaw Devs, Your app publication has been quite an amazing success! Communication with kids has always been hard, but now I’m able to see what is going on! Thank you so much, but I would love it if you added a function in which you can talk to your kids’ teacher. I believe this would be helpful in many ways, including asking for homework due dates, it would also be nice if you could add a calendar of what the month/year will look like. ✓ Not bad, could be betterI have taught second grade for many years. For the past several years, I have used Class Dojo to keep families informed about what their children are doing in school and send messages back and forth. I switched to SeeSaw this year because Class Dojo won’t he student data privacy pledge. I wish SeeSaw had a few features I am used to, such as the ability to schedule messages for delivery at a later time. Also, posting pictures and videos of my learners in action takes SO many steps on SeeSaw! Notifications don’t always appear in a timely manner either, so sometimes I miss messages from parents until after school. I am committed to using it through the end of this school year, and I hope that the parts I am learning to use (like students uploading their work) will be better than what I have experienced so far..Version: 7.1.8

From photos of her journaling assignments to videos of her presentations, it’s a wonderful (and easy) way for me, but also grandparents, uncles, aunts,, etc to be a part of her school day. I am able to “love “ and/or comment on the pictures, there is a zoom option (which makes reading assignments on my phone much easier), and a section where teachers can send out a notification that might be urgent (such as, we are closing early for snow!). ✓ It’s changed my teaching forever!I’m in love with Seesaw! My teaching is forever changed. One thing that would help me is having “working hours” for teacher messaging. Within settings I would love to be able to control when parent messages come in so I don’t feel pressure to be available in the evenings. Additionally I would love the option for parents to receive an automated message if they do message after 5pm (for example) so say that I am “off duty” and that they can message again in the morning or that the message will be delivered during work hours. ✓ Give teachers stickersSeesaw has been pretty easy to navigate. I like that is connected to GSuite and I have a Microsoft Surface that makes it easy to navigate. I have a kindergartner and he likes that activities his teacher have both created and uploaded from the shared lessons. The microphone is also of good recording quality. Things I wish this product would offer: 1) I have to use my own snipping tool to re-post responses, it would be great if this was integrated. To be able to pull the original document that was posted and be able to write on it. 2) Why does this tool not use stickers ? Elementary teachers always use stamps and stickers when they respond to school work. Thta would be awesome..Version: 7.2.4
