Contraction Timer - Time labor for Positive User Reviews

EasyGreat app.Version: 2.1.3

Editable Contraction AppThe fact that this is the only free contraction app that allows you to add and edit contractions later on makes it a too choice for me. One minor thing, I wish the timer below the start button would change to reflect if you have the setting set to time the start or end of your contraction. I see now where the time is being updated based on the setting but originally (I blame pregnancy brain) I did not..Version: 2.2.3

This is not going to hurtIt’s a free app so shouldn’t really complain as it has the basic functionality needed for a contractions timer. Devs can make it better by offering a night mode given most expectant mothers and their partners will use this in a room with low light. Also if the whole screen is black, it would ensure battery lasts longer..Version: 2.3.3

Quick and easy to useVery quick at loading at a spontaneous time and very easy to use. Love how you can see the trend between your contractions and you're able to note the intensity as well so you can stay at home as long as possible. Would defo recommend..Version: 1.1.10

Very helpfulGreat app that does exactly what it’s designed to do and I like that it continues timing in the background. Only downside is the “Start” button is too small and ideally needs to be the whole screen like the “Stop” button or at least 2/3 of the screen..Version: 2.3.3

All you need, even helped at hospitalThe monitor they had on me throughout my labor at the hospital was pretty much useless as it wasn’t properly measuring my contractions, kept falling out of place, etc. So I timed and measured all my contractions with this app and showed it to the nurses. That was very helpful! And helpful for me as well to see the pattern changes, as my labor was super long and stagnant for a while..Version: 2.3.3

Seems simpleDoing what other women suggested - writing a review so it doesn’t prompt me while I’m in actual labour Seems simple enough and like that you can edit the contractions.Version: 2.3.3

Great appKeeping track well, shows time since last and let’s u choose intensity. Will help piece together labour times when it’s all done.Version: 2.1.3

ReviewLeaving a review so it doesn’t ask me during labour.Version: 2.3.3

Simple, effective: download and use straight away!I went into early labour at 36 weeks and for hours had been ignoring cramping. When I realised how painful it was and what was going on I randomly downloaded this app and used it immediately. So simple, no messing round, intuitive, just tap the screen - just what I needed while in pain (no endless data collection or setting up). Really useful to have visualisation/info of contractions (duration, frequency) for discussions with midwives over the phone. Reassuring to have the information on how your body is progressing and make decisions about when to go to hospital..Version: 2.2.3

GoodEasy to use and my husband likes the graphs. Would prefer not to be constantly asked to rate the app while timing contractions though..Version: 2.1.4

AmazingThis was so handy when l was in labour. My other half was able to feel useful even if it was hitting start and stop. Really helped when midwives were asking "how often and lasting how long" Definitely recommend to a friend.Version: 1.1.10

So handy! This is my third child and using this app during the contractions is easy, organised and clear! Such a great idea!.Version: 1.1.10

A great little appAs the supporting partner of early pregnancy, I’m finding this app very useful. It has a very simple interface but does what it has to. After long, sleepless, or even worse, interrupted sleep hours, this app is still useable. It also plots the data in a nice graph so I have something nice to look back on!.Version: 1.1.10

Easy to useVery easy to use and practical, I really recommend..Version: 2.2.3

Great app but needs some workGreat, easy to use app and brilliant on Apple Watch too! But it would be good to be able to stop and mark in when the baby is born to stop it timing in between contractions after your last one. I think the only way to stop it is to delete the app by then you lose all you info. But keeping the app means it’s draining my battery! Maybe if you could email the charts to yourself afterwards too would be good..Version: 2.1.4

Great appThis app is so simple to use. You simply open up the app and press start. When the contraction ends, you hit anywhere on the screen twice, and it records the time. It shows the length of time between contractions too. It's very straight forward without a lot of thrills, but when you're in labor, you don't care about the thrills. You simply need to know how far apart the contractions are..Version: 1.1.10

Great with my apple watchWas very grateful to be able to wear my watch and time contractions! Hubby kept eye on the phone app and we worked together to work out best time today ring hospital!! Only issue was when I went to loo and was too far away from my phone for my watch to be able to time the contraction once or twice!!.Version: 1.1.10

Works wellDoes what it says.Version: 2.3.3

Easy and helpfulI was able to keep track of my contractions easily and see my progression. Helped me to decide when it was time to go to the hospital! Made it in perfect timing because of the visible times apart feature. Loved that I could access from my apple watch too. So I could walk around the house to get comfortable but now worry where my phone is..Version: 2.3.3

So simple and easyI was using my phone’s timer and notes to record my wife’s contractions but this was so much easier. Two taps to start and stop a contraction and everything simply displayed. Excellent..Version: 2.3.3

Easy to useSuper simple to use in the middle of a painful contraction and simple display makes it easy to see where you're at with contraction timings. A plus.Version: 1.1.10

Free AppThis app was great as a last minute find, did the job and was free to download. Highly recommend if your unprepared like myself and find yourself in labour needing an app that times contractions.Version: 2.3.3

Very useful appI downloaded this app in the middle of the morning I was starting to have contractions which were getting a little painful but I was so tired wasn’t sure if they were close apart or what. So I decided to look and see if there was such an app to help you keep track of your contractions and came across this one. And it worked amazing I ended up downloading this app around 3am and ended up having my baby at 7:33am. Made it to the hospital at 6:00am.Version: 2.3.3

Thank you!Thank you for creating such a friendly-to-use app. I was able to track contractions until we went to hospital and the fact that is so easy to use helped my mother and husband to be in charge of using it when I was in active labour..Version: 1.1.10

Great appMake it so much easier to keep track of contraction. It allow you to edit/add an contraction if you missed one..Version: 2.3.3

Very helpfulCan suggest to display the time from last contraction on the apple watch? The app on apple watch was very handy, but my wife couldn’t even wait for me to open the app, to massage her, so I had few secs to star the app and sometimes it was not possible. if I could see the time from last contraction would have helped us a lot, since I could be prepared to have the app opened and ready to start before the next one. Tks…see you on my next kid!.Version: 2.3.3

Great for early stages of labourI used this to monitor how close contractions were to help when to know when to go to hospital. Very easy to use and very helpful. I used it on my iPad could be better if the slider bar for deciding strength of contraction wasn’t so close to the bottom of the screen as it often brought up the menu and allowed you to touch to change choice not just drag. Super app though..Version: 2.1.3

Simple to useReally useful and simple to use, no messing about or signing in at such a crucial time. Gave clear information to the midwife. I didn't use watch with it, and still found it simple to use be leaving phone open and just pressing start/end when needed which are clearly marked..Version: 1.1.10

Free, Simple, Fuss freeEasy to use, download and start using immediately. You don’t even need to know what you are doing, just tap anywhere on the screen to either start timing or stop timing. Grateful for this.Version: 2.3.3

HshEasy to use and understand.Version: 2.1.3

LOVE!This app made timing my contractions so easy! It really helped me to realize the difference between Braxton Hicks contractions and real contractions. I️ love that you can add intensity levels to each contraction, because if you have a terrible memory like me this really helps you see clearly when they are truly getting worse or if you just need to drink some water and change positions (to ease Braxton Hicks). Awesome app!.Version: 1.1.10

Exactly What I NeededAbility to start and stop timer easily. Keeps track of when contractions started, how long they lasted, and how long since last contraction. Also easy to edit if you forget to stop the timer, and ability to delete contractions which is great for false alarms or incorrect times. Only thing I have noticed is sometimes when I open the app, the timer has been going on for many hours. But perhaps that is user error in not turning it off correctly. :).Version: 1.1.10

It’s really good but can use some updatesThis app was a big help In keeping track of contractions wail you don’t really want to do much all you have to do is tap on tap off the only think I wish it would keep the phone on so I would have had to open it up everytime to tap off that was the only think and when I had a finger twitch it wouldn’t let me delete the mistake take. And then would freeze when I went to delete the mistake ones. Other then that this is way better then wringing down during such a hard time..Version: 2.3.2

Making a necessary task extremely easy.I don’t know how I would’ve kept track without this app. The easy to use straight forward application is just what you need when you’re in labour..Version: 2.3.3

RecommendationsPhone shouldn’t lock when app is in operation. Also if you are in labour and having contractions probably not the best time to ask for an app review continuously.Version: 2.2.3

I really like this appI have a bit of prodromal labor with all of my pregnancies, so apps like these help me see if what’s happening is legit or just more practice contractions. I like that you can add a contraction you might have had when your phone wasn’t on you, and delete one if you realize you were tracking gas… lol. I also like the graphs. It’s a great visual..Version: 2.3.3

PerfectExactly what I needed and straightforward..Version: 2.3.3

Thank you for this great appNo bells and whistles here. This app does exactly what you’d expect it to do. I was looking for an app to track contractions as tracking on the notes app doesn’t give you any insight on intervals and intensity. I definitely loved using it as it made tracking so much easier. A few recommendations on features: 1. Ability to graph > 20 contractions in the past. 2. Auto select earlier intensity level for a new contraction. 3. Replace the slider/add levels with titles so it’s easier to scrub through different levels. This will make the experience even better! Thanks again for the app and not blocking the simple features for a paid version!.Version: 2.3.3

Easy to use but brightI like that you can edit easily, clear the data for false alarms, see easily the time in between contractions. The graphs are helpful. I like that you can tap anywhere in the screen to stop the counter. It is easy to figure out and navigate, especially when’s contraction hits. I wish it had a dark setting to use in the night. The white background isn’t pleasant. Update: this is the third time using this app! I wish it wouldn’t ask for ratings so often. I’m in early labor so I’m hoping this review will prompt it not to ask again..Version: 2.3.3

Easy to useEasy to use. Shows the information simply Would recommend.Version: 2.1.4

Gives peace of mind thanksVery useful tool!.Version: 2.3.3

Excellent, just turn off notificationsI loved this app. It helped me time my contractions so easily. Just turn off notifications for it as it keeps pestering you with them which is not ideal while in labour. I think someone else suggested if the app could have some sort of banner (like when Google Maps is running in background) to tap into app, makes accessing it quicker and easier..Version: 2.1.4

Baby number #4A good basic timer. Does what it needs and no unnecessary screen changes. The intensity slider is hard to focus on when mid contraction but otherwise good..Version: 1.1.10

Highly recommendEasy to use and made tracking contractions a breeze. I liked the graph feature and the ‘intensity’ sliding scale..Version: 1.1.10

Best contraction timerI downloaded heaps of different timers to see which was best for my contractions and this one is by far the most intuitive and easy to use. I highly recommend it! :).Version: 2.2.3

Very GoodA simple and straight forward app. No instructions but it’s not necessary. Tap to start timing contraction and tap to end. It automatically tells how spaced apart they are as the contractions build. Only downfall was being asked to leave a review too frequently when being in active labor and trying to just time my contractions. I get that will be likely the only time we use the app. But was a bit much. Otherwise Great app !.Version: 2.3.3

Simple but the best one out thereI downloaded 4 contraction timer apps to see which one I would like best and be most useful during labor. This one won hands down! It’s not the prettiest app, there’s others with more bells & whistles but this one had everything I needed and was simply laid out. It tracks exactly what you need, duration, intervals, a counter since last contraction, and a visual graph of the contractions. All east to see in one place. The other apps were not very functional during active labor. This one wins..Version: 2.2.3

Awesome timerSo easy to use. Can delete times if needed. Would definitely recommend 😊.Version: 2.1.3

Great appSuch a helpful app during a stressful time, highly recommend it. Easy to use, I think personal to improve it, I would suggest if we could choose the intensity of pain using a button choice instead of a slider:.Version: 1.1.10

Very usefulThis was very useful and the time since last contraction countdown was extra helpful. This apps function could be improved if it logged the data and allowed export..Version: 2.1.3

Very helpfulI wish the start button was bigger and the numbers on the start button were clearer. But it's fantastic.Version: 2.3.3

Easy to use but colour scheme unhelpfulIf you are in labour, as I currently am, I would find a more muted soft colour eg yellow or lilac to be more contraction friendly! It is well proven clinically that different colours impact the brain differently, and the role of cognition in labour and delivery is significant. Too much cortisol and adrenaline hormones can be counterproductive, and can increase pain significantly, whereas oxytocin and endorphins make contractions more effective as well as more comfortable. These important considerations need to be factored in. Lose the bright red screens. Maybe even consider rewording “intense” to “powerful”. It’s important for the body to get the right signals to “go with” the contractions rather than fear them, or fight against them. They are not something that “happens to” a woman in labour, they quite literally ARE the woman in labour, incrementally building the exit for baby’s special arrival into the world. This app is a real opportunity to empower mothers and should reflect that goal. Best wishes all. Emma, London..Version: 2.1.3

Best timer I could findFor a free app this timer is fantastic. The features are simple and exactly what I needed during contractions. Easy to use. Four stars only because of the constant push notifications after each contraction, one notification would be fine but it’s annoying. The ads don’t interfere with the timer though and that’s all that really mattered..Version: 2.3.3

Really?Simple to use but seriously, don’t ask me to write a review while I’m having a contraction!!!.Version: 2.3.3

Last minute download & Easy to useDownloaded the app just as i suspected contractions may have started, just so i can start timing just in case there’s a pattern. Pleasantly surprised the app is easy to use from the first record of contractions! Thankful for the free app! Recommended!.Version: 2.3.3

Our go to labour appMy wife and I have used this for all three of our babies’ births. It’s great. Simple and straightforward. Measure the length of the contractions and the time between contractions..Version: 2.3.3

EassyyyIt was sO nice being able to start and stop the timer easily. I wasnt sure I was in active labor and used this app to help me decide if I should go get checked to make sure. Sure enough we welcomed our second kiddo later that next morning. The app was easy to use and accurate. I was 1 min long 3 mins apart from 11pm- 9am when she was born lol. The app made it clear to tell i needed to head to the hospital and gave me enough heads up from seeing the stats that I was able to safely drive myself there in time!.Version: 2.3.3

Second pregnancy, still my favorite contraction timer!I found this while in active labor with my first and remembered it being exactly what I needed at the time. Heading into labor with my second, I was able to find the app I'd used before and it is still just as convenient! I love how easy it is to start and stop, that it shows you duration as well as time between contractions, and that it has an Apple Watch paired app. The contraction intensity is a nice feature too. Well done, developers!.Version: 2.2.3

Easy to useEasy to use, very nice that shows the time of each contractions, intervals, durations and it keeps counting time from the last contraction. Would be perfect if can choose to delete some particular record separately..Version: 1.1.10

Too easy!I used this app for 31hrs of my 38hr labour. It was simple and easy, even when your in a world of hurt..Version: 1.1.10

Simple and helpfulReally easy to stop and start and to keep track of timing of contractions. My only issue is my screen locking between contractions and then having to fumble around unlocking the phone at the start of the next one but I think this is an issue with my phone settings rather than the app..Version: 1.1.10

Simple and effectiveEasy to use which is what you need when you’re in labour..Version: 1.1.10

Great App - used for both birthsI love this app. I’ve used it both times I was pregnant. I used it the first time in 2018 when I had my first born and now my second (which I gave birth on Sunday just passed). The app is great because it will keep timing in the background. It’s also easy to time your contractions and scale the level of intensity so when you call the birthing unit you can tell them exactly how long your contractions are and the level of pain. I will use this app again if I have another child. Highly recommend for mums :).Version: 2.2.3

Super helpful!I used this app when I was going into labour. It’s very accurate and the timer at the top helps you to see how often you are having them. My midwife was quite impressed with it it too and confirmed that I was in full labour..Version: 2.2.3

Time is of the essenceI had irregular contractions for 12 hours and then BAM!!! Full force contractions for 45sec (+/-) at a time every min and a half. I didn’t think I could get to the hospital fast enough. My plan of delaying pain meds went FLYING out the window 😂 This app helped me keep track when things got going bc there was no watching the clock and keeping track of it..Version: 2.2.3

Better than expectedIt's a free app. There were bound to be at least a few little problems. But, I was pleasantly surprised. It was Super Easy to figure out! My client was in labor, the midwife wanted me to time CTX and get back to her, and I hadn't gotten an app. I quickly did a search and grabbed the first one that was free. I'm very happy, especially since it's so *user friendly* and it's easy to quickly click a button, and then get to pressing on my client's back, then press another button to stop the timer. I love that I can add an extra CTX if I forgot to start timing one. I love that I can change a time, especially if I forgot to stop the time. I love that I can add a note to every CTX. I'd recommend the app, and would even consider buying it..Version: 1.1.10

Simple & effectiveFound the app really helpful when timing contractions. It was easy to use, partner didn’t need training or orientation to use it just press start & anywhere on red screen to stop. Found the time line at top of page helpful to see if there had been any big breaks..Version: 2.2.3

Easy to useIt’s a bit odd reviewing an app while in labour but will give it a try. Easy to use, nice interface. A background banner (like google maps or phone calls) that keeps it on screen would make going back into the app quicker and easier - maybe consider for updates..Version: 2.1.3

PerfectI just used this on Saturday to time my contractions which I had not done in previous pregnancies. Best decision ever. I was able to keep track and know when to leave for the hospital. It would be nice if they had that prompt that tells the user perhaps they should prepare to go to the hospital or something along those lines..Version: 2.3.3

IanThe app was helpful to provide a bit of reassurance in the early stages of labour. It was very simple to use, I could add contractions in/edit them retrospectively if I'd missed them. The only weakness was the user! I sometimes found it hard to pick up on the start and end of my wife's contractions. I accidentally deleted one contraction so having a recycling bin option might have been a tiny bit useful but really that is just splitting hairs, you just need to be more careful than I was..Version: 1.1.10

Easy to use with ability to make corrections, recommend!Super easy to use. Like that you just need to tap on screen to log start/end of contraction and that you can toggle to see the averages for past 5, 10, 20 contractions. Also really found it useful to be able to correct your logged entries, by continuing with a click of button if you stopped log prematurely, or simply adjusting start time and duration if you made a mistake or forgot to log end of contraction. The graphs of contractions are worthless, though, didn’t need them..Version: 2.2.3

Great app, easy and simple, just what you need in the high stress timeBrilliant, so simple to use. I used it to time my wife’s contractions and it was really useful not not really pay attention to the phone to start and stop it and then easy to review timings each contraction..Version: 2.2.3

Great appDownloaded the app during the beginning of my contractions. So easy to use..Version: 1.1.10

Great appI used this app to monitor my labor contractions. It's easy to use and has features that let you input the details of your contractions. I love that you can also edit and delete your entry..Version: 2.3.3

Amazing appMade it so much easier to keep track of contractions when i was in labor. I could also use the app in my apple watch..Version: 2.3.3

GoodOverall seems good.Version: 2.3.3

Turn off notificationsApp worked well for its intended use, and the watch app was also very nice. I had to turn off notifications because literally after every single contraction I got a push notification to download another one of their apps. (I’m dealing with contractions, I could care less about your other apps! I could understand maybe one notification, but I had 48 that were exactly the same before I turned off notifications.) 5 stars for ease of use, minus 2 stars for being annoying, plus 1 star for not attempting to track my every move..Version: 2.3.3

Great appHave used this during 2 labours now and it has been great both times. Not only to keep track of contractions but also gives something to focus on a little to help you through..Version: 2.2.3

Does what it saysGood thing is allows you to reset if you stop timing for a bit.Version: 2.2.3

It convinced us that labour was startingI used Contractions Timer to time my wife's contractions with our second child. Our first had a long labour which started very gradually so we were unsure of the exact signs of early labour. With this app I was able to easily measure and see the timings of the contractions and relay this to the labour triage who recommended that we come in. A few hours later we had our healthy second baby. Thank you Contractions Timer..Version: 2.1.3

Super helpfulI loved using this App it was so stress free - exactly what you need when you’re having contractions. I would add a few things tho There should be a pause bottom for when ur contractions stop completely like it did for me. N instead of looking at the number of hours u didn’t have contractions id rather it said the date.Version: 2.1.4

Useful toolEasy to use. very intuitive..Version: 2.2.3

Worked really wellSuper simple and did a great job for us, the Apple Watch bit was very handy as didn't even need to get phone out of pocket for each contraction. Was able to give very accurate picture to midwives when time came..Version: 1.1.10

Thank you!!I DLed 2 contraction apps and used this one the day of starting contractions. It guided me all the way to the hospital where I delivered my baby!! Though I won't use it until a couple more years when I'll have another (ha, maybe...), I'm supremely grateful!!!!!!! I chose this one over another more popular contraction app because-- it paired w my apple watch, it was smaller in size, and let me edit individual contractions!!!!.Version: 2.3.3

Fab app - helpful! This app was super helpful when I was having my contractions. It tells you the distance between contractions and the whole screen is tapable to stop the timer. Only problem was pop ups getting in the way... it’s a free app so I get the need for advertisements but can I suggest this is somewhere that doesn’t get in the way!?.Version: 2.1.4

Add to lock screen or Control CenterI am a super new user for this app and I like the simplicity of the app design and layout. It would be awesome to have this app at the ready on either at the Lock Screen or Control Center pull down menu for iPhone! I understand that with the watch on it’s a quicker route to access but it’s something that I don’t have on 24/7 or at the ready like my iPhone device. Just a suggestion 😊! I had a contraction this morning and used another app to track it as I had not yet found this app and I realized that I had to go through so many steps to get to the tracker and that’s why I downloaded this app. I like that I can take the information from the other app and add it to this app for accurate tracking in the future..Version: 1.1.10

Love the app but the ads are really annoyingThe app is very simple to use and I love that you can tap anywhere to stop the timer but when your trying to concentrate on my wife’s labor and other things, the promotion of their other app is just annoying after each contraction. I would have considered downloading it but because it’s so annoying I’m not going to bother. Maybe a reminder ever so often would be ok but not after each and every contraction..Version: 2.1.4

UsefulReally useful to monitor intervals and how long contractions last.. it helps you determine when you need to go to hospital or are close to delivering.. only drawback is that the screen on the phone locks after a certain time so you sometimes can miss contractions..Version: 1.1.10

Great app!Great app for both yourself and partner to monitor contractions - was good that my partner would use the timer to let me know when the contractions would be over soon as I couldn’t bare to watch the clock during each contraction. I would recommend setting your phone screen saver timer to ‘never’ so that the app is always open on your phone screen - until an update can be done on the app..Version: 2.2.3

Needs bigger “start/stop” buttonI wish that the “start/stop” button took up the whole screen for EVERY time… Not just when you first get started, because when you’re trying to keep track of your contractions(early on) in the middle of the night while you’re still trying to rest/eyes closed… I wish I knew I could just tap the phone anywhere on the screen..Version: 2.3.3

Really helpfulI downloaded this, when I thought I was in labour. Who has the ability to use a watch and remember it when this starts!? This helped me realise this was real labour and not a false alarm. The start stop button helps and the way it shows the times is helpful.Version: 2.1.4

Good app, very easyWent into labour on Sunday and delivered on Thursday. Very easy to use and review for contractions. Got a bit difficult to keep putting intensity in each time as things got close, would benefit from intensity memory used automatically for the next contraction, but overall was great for a free app. Thanks very much..Version: 2.1.3

GoodGood.Version: 2.3.3

Great - Just wish starting timer was easierI like that the timer continues in the background. I just wish the start timer option was the full screen - like it is for stopping the timer. When contractions start, you don’t really have time to fumble around trying to focus on the start bar at the bottom. Apart from that, easy to use and clean format..Version: 2.2.3

Perfectly simpleGreat app - easy to use and clear to go back through your data.Version: 2.1.3

Can’t believe this is freeIt’s perfect and the Apple Watch is very convenient.Version: 2.3.3

Works for things other than contractions too!!!I was looking for a timer that could not only time laps but how much time I take a break for between circuits! There just weren’t any out there. Then I had the idea to check and see if a contractions tool would work because it not only times the length of the contractions but the time between them too! Perfect!!!.Version: 2.3.3

AwesomeHelps so much to keep track of those contractions & how strong they are simple & effective.Version: 2.3.3

I don’t want to delete the appI had a sweep done the day before my due date because I was still 1cm dilated. My contractions started the day of my due date but very inconsistent and hard to keep track of while I am writing it down in my notepad or my husband is texting it to me. I downloaded this app and my husband ended up downloading it as well because it is super easy to use. No guess work. Very straightforward app! I used it while having contractions on the way to the hospital (they were painful) because that is how easy it is. You just push a “start” button and then “stop” and do your part in breathing through the contractions lol. I do not want to delete the app because I have an attachment to it due it is being memories tied to my first child. Maybe I’ll take screenshots and put them in her baby book.... but till now I’ll just open it randomly and reminisce 😂.Version: 2.2.3

One less thing to think about!I'm having contractions, now in early labour. It really helps to know how long between contractions without doing the math. I can also make a note on each contraction. I'm writing how long it takes to peak. At the bottom you can see how long it has been since the last contraction which was helpful when you need to do something and you don't want a contraction rearing its ugly head (e.g. Emptying your bowels because you need to relax during contractions)..Version: 1.1.10

Works well, edit capability would improve itI've just started using this and it's easy to use. Simple interface, nice to be able to make note of intensity. It would be great if you could go back to a record and edit the start/stop time. A couple of times I forgot to stop the clock and was stuck with an inaccurately long contraction in the analysis. Also, it would be really helpful if you could change the screen saver setting from within the app..Version: 2.1.3

Works PerfectDid everything I needed it to and I liked how you could tap anywhere on the screen when you can’t concentrate too well!.Version: 2.3.3

Excellent App !Simple to use and clear. Everything worked well, at the moment not add pop up other then this review..Version: 2.3.3

Great appGreat app really helpful.Version: 2.3.3

Simple and efficientNuff said!.Version: 2.3.3

Exactly what you need it to doThis app does exactly what you need it to do which is perfect. No frills and easy to use. You can manually input contractions you missed timing. You can change it to count time between start or end of the prior contraction. The large start button and stop function is great because sometimes you are multitasking and still want to quickly record the contraction and so it doesn’t require a ton of focus. I wish you could zoom in on the time frame (maybe you can and I missed it) and that the color during a contraction was something more soothing than red..Version: 2.3.3

Great - but wish the starting timer was biggerA very straight forward app, but the starting time is small at the bottom of the screen. When you’re having contractions the last thing you wanna do is have to stare at your phone to make sure you press the right button.Version: 2.2.3

Love this appHonestly I truly love this app. I am a first time mom and I’ve been looking for contraction counting apps. All apps I’ve used has some type of in app purchase and never is fully free. Love how this app is fully free, lets you reset if needed, let’s you add notes to your contractions and has a scale for intensity. Very easy to use and would recommend it for anyone trying to find a contraction timer!.Version: 2.3.3

Good app and easy to useVery easy to use and record contraction and show perfectly. It has some extra features but didn't use all..Version: 2.2.3

FeedbackAbility to print record and adding date stamp.Version: 1.1.10

Easy app, does what it says it will doEasy to use immediately. Quicker access to start stop would be good but otherwise did exactly what I needed.Version: 1.1.10

Exactly what I needed.I tried timing my contractions without any real timing app or anything like that. Yeah. No. APPARENTLY, you’re not “with it” enough to pay attention to the clock when you’re in the middle of the worst pain in the world. This definitely got everything on track. The fact that I could also label each contraction’s intensity makes me wish I could have given in 10 stars. Definitely like the graphs as well to show the progression..Version: 1.1.10

Simple & EffectiveMy daughter was born today at 7:15p. My contractions began a little after 2a. I downloaded this app to my phone & used for almost the entire duration of my labor. Its FREE, was incredibly user friendly & met my needs of simply tracking contraction durations and intervals w/o any issues. I honestly don’t know what else it’s capable of & intend to delete once I finish this review. I was annoyed the app kept asking for a review w/ popup windows at the very beginning of use, but I suppose the tactic worked, cause here I am (:.Version: 2.3.3

PerfectThis contraction timer was so simple and easy to use. I don’t know why but something told me to download this app 2 days before I gave birth two weeks before my due date. When I say it was just what I needed. I started contracting at 5:15 am on February 6 and used the app every time I foolishly waited till the contractions where 3 mins apart before heading to hospital but without this app I probably would have had a home birth❗️.Version: 2.3.3

The best timer for contractionsTried a few and this is definitely the best. Really easy to record and stop, and delete if you press it by mistake, the graphs are great too, and the layout of the timings and the time of each contraction is easy to read. Excellent app..Version: 2.2.3

Excellent appExcellent app that allows you to keep track of the important details. Super easy to use. I recommend it over any other.Version: 2.3.3

Good AppI like the app so far, I'm using it now, I like that you can choose to track contractions from start to finish with time between each contraction or from the end of one to the other, also that if you miss one you can manually add it, change the time, duration and intensity of it, my only complaint is that about a minute after you stop timing, EVERY SINGLE TIME, an advertisement to download one of their other apps comes on! I think it's to keep track of Baby feeding and such. While in labor, I'm sorry but that is annoying, I don't want to know about downloading anything else I just want to focus on what I'm doing. Other than that great app.Version: 2.3.3

Works greatI’m so happy with this. Easy to use, easy to edit/add if you don’t have your phone on you when a contraction hits or if you forget to end the contraction at the right time. Whenever I’ve had a moment of “I wonder if it lets me…” they’ve already thought of it. No bells and whistles to complicate things, just a nice, simple, straightforward, intuitive app. My one minor criticism: I wish the timeline at the top would go back longer..Version: 2.3.3

Love the appI just got in labor in a good timing using this app. I dont get any ads show up. Perfect free app to count the contraction. 👍.Version: 2.3.3

Very helpfulIt may be a good idea to show the staging of the labour process (according to any method) related to the number and duration of contractions. Alternatively, you can allow the user to set the bands or alarms (go to the hospital/active labour).Version: 2.2.3

Parfait!Complet et non saturé de publicités.Version: 2.3.3

Straightforward enough to figure out while in laborJust what it says on the tin. When I noticed contractions starting to occur with regularity and intensity, I downloaded the app, used it for about 90 mins while preparing and driving to the hospital, and had a baby that evening. Using the app was the easiest part! Wish I had reason to use the app again, but I’m all set..Version: 2.2.3

Simple and effectiveMany pregnancy apps come with contraction counters but getting to them and using them is often clunky. This is exactly what i was looking for--an app for watch and phone that I can use to time stamp contractions. There are nice inputs for intensity and it runs averages for past intervals of time if you want them. I have used this for two labors now and cannot recommend enough..Version: 2.3.3

Great appEasy to use.Version: 2.1.3

Tried them all, 5th baby, this is the best (free) one5th baby, let me tell you what you’re looking for in a contraction app. You NEED to be able to edit contractions. You need to be able to add contractions after they happen. If you can’t do those two things, the app isn’t helpful for timing contractions. This app does it—it’s not pretty, it doesn’t have lots of frills, but it does those things consistently and for free so it’s my go to for next baby, too..Version: 2.2.3

Really handy app!Found this really helped to take the edge off and be able to focus on breathing instead of trying to keep track of the length in my head as the contraction was coming. Handy that it shows how long between contractions it has been as well, just made a stressful time that bit less stressful!.Version: 2.1.3

Easy and love itVery easy to use and can customise as well as continue. Just what I need as sometimes can't get to phone on time and all I need to do is add the time and duration etc. Makes it more accurate..Version: 2.0.6

Easy to use!I downloaded this app when I was in very early labor. I soon started having contractions that were much more intense and using this app was super straightforward and easy, especially when you are out of your mind with pain and can barely think. It was also easy to show to my husband and nurses to relay the information when it was difficult to speak. Sometimes apps are so overdeveloped with options and customization that they are difficult to use. This app had just enough, and options were presented in a clear manner. Well designed with actual functionality in mind..Version: 2.3.3

Easy and simpleSo easy and simple to use. Have used it with both bubs. Love that it works on Apple Watch too!.Version: 2.3.3

GoodGood app easy to use.Version: 2.1.3

Very helpful !!Went into labour 2 days ago and used this app. It was soo easy to use. Using the slide button to identify intensity was hard at times as you are trying to slide the button but being in intense was difficult at times. Overall would definitely recommend it..Version: 1.1.10

Really helpfulI went into Labour and progressed extremely quickly. I’m so glad I’d already got it downloaded and had it to hand to record the contractions getting closer together and helped the Drs understand the situation- it was great to have the evidence there.Version: 2.3.3

Amazingly simpleVery easy to use and so efficient. Thank god I used this app otherwise I would not have realised how fast my contractions were coming. Lucky to use this and went into hospital as emergency situation arose so had I not downloaded this app and gone straight to hospital god forbid there was a tragedy waiting to happen but was avoided. Thank you.Version: 2.3.3

Definitely recommend!Amazing app! Loved it while in labor. Easy to use and better than others I tried out..Version: 2.0.6

Simple as neededThis is perfect. I think I’ve used it all three of my births. It really gave me a sense of things getting real and bolstered my intuition of when would be the right time to go to the hospital. It’s funny that it has the option to rate the intensity of the contractions too only because by the time they felt painful it was pretty clear simply by the fact that I couldn’t even be bothered to rate the intensity any more. So that really takes the detailed simplicity to the next level. Has all you would bother to need when really going into labor!.Version: 2.3.3

Easy to use!I had a false start night of 8 minute apart contractions. This app allowed me to easily record my contractions by just tapping the screen when each contraction started and stopped. I left the app open on my phone all night and was able to get micro sleeps between contractions (!) (it was that easy to use!). No further faffing then just those two taps per contraction. It meant my husband didn’t have to time them so at least he could get a bit of rest, and I didn’t have to remember any of the data as it was all stored on my phone. The only suggestion is to be able to go back as far as you like, the tracking bar at the top seemed to limit how many hours you could look back..Version: 2.2.3

Great, but with one flawThis app has been really helpful. Only one flaw: distance between contractions are supposed to be calculated from start of one to start of next. This app offers two options: 1. Measure from start of one to end of next or 2. Measure from end of one to end of next. Either way you have to constantly subtract the duration of the second contraction from the time between contractions. This would be an easy fix! Also, a share button would be helpful. Still, very easy to use..Version: 1.1.10

No sign up process at allYou can just use this app without providing email addresses or any of your personal info. When your using this and downloading it in active labour it helps not to have to go through the annoying sign up processes some apps have. Easy to use also.Version: 2.1.4

Really simpleReally easy and simple to use. One thing they can inprove is to recomend you to go to the hospital when your contractions are close together..Version: 2.3.3

Easy to useEasy to use and does what it says. Worked great thanks for having it free and straight to the point..Version: 2.3.3

Great help!Let’s say this app was so helpful. I am in labour now and needed something to help me track my contractions. It’s so easy to use and it’s all tracked love it!.Version: 2.2.3

Great app, bu add some extras? The app is great. The whole screen is tapable so it doesn’t matter if you’re looking at it or not, you can stop the timer easily enough. The only thing I may add is a few articles about contractions and how to tell the difference between them and Braxton Hicks. And when to call the hospital/ambulance. Also, this is more with Apple than the app itself - you have to physically go into it to start the timer. So if you’re trying to keep an eye on any tightenings you’re having (which I’m having to do) you will either need to have this app open at all times and not use your phone for anything else, or open the app while the tightenings is happening. Apple need to get an option to use these type of apps easily with a click outside the app.Version: 2.1.3

Well thought outI really like all the information this tracks on one page for me and how easy it is to interface. Keeps track of time, duration, Intensity, and even graphs it out for you to see the big picture. Not to mention being able to add notes to a particular contraction. This has been a much better app than the last one I used for our first baby. Would defined recommend this..Version: 2.2.3

Easy to useEasy to use, kinda fun but I wish it wasn’t coloured red it stresses me out..Version: 2.3.3

Was able to use all the features for freeSome apps don’t allow necessary features like editing the contraction time unless you buy the full version. I was glad everything was included in this free app. We used it my whole labor! I like how it told you how many minutes were in between without have to to do the math ourselves when we don’t have time to think about that. Loved it!.Version: 2.2.3

FeedbackI love this app , very helpful keeps track of the contractions you don’t even need to be on the app the whole time you can watch a video and still go back !.Version: 2.3.3

Definitely usefulJust having my contractions right now and the app is working as it should. Accurate, easy to use whilst in pain. Would recommend..Version: 2.3.3

So handy! In labour right now and wow this makes it so much easier to track! Super easy since you can click anywhere on the screen! THANKYOU.Version: 2.1.3

Amazing AppThis App is amazing, it is easy to use and perfectly simple.Version: 2.3.3

Simple because that’s what you needMy husband and I used this to track my contractions. We were both very pleased! I appreciated how simple it was so I could quickly tap start when I needed to focus on myself! I love how easy it is to edit an entry, which is great if you’re late grabbing your phone. When my contractions were 6 minutes apart I put on my Apple Watch so I could start the timer whenever needed (as my husband packed the car). He monitored the average time on the phone to decide when to head to the hospital..Version: 2.2.3

10/10An amazing app, I trialled so many and this was the best by far. 10/10 recommend..Version: 2.3.3

UnpreparedThe app worked amazing for tracking my contractions. I first tried tracking them in my notes app but quickly lost track. Then when I found this app it was so easy to just push “start” or “stop” and it was all calculated out for me how far apart they were. Definitely wish I would’ve had this app for my first baby..Version: 2.2.3

Works with my Apple WatchWhen I started having regular contractions with my first I tried to just use the timer on my phone… that only worked so well for so long and eventually I just stopped tracking them. Fast forward to baby number 3 and I knew I needed an app of some kind. So I downloaded this ahead of time and it worked so well! I started out using it on my phone but I kept missing contractions because I’d be walking around without my phone. So I checked if it was compatible with my watch and surprisingly it was! I was so happy and it was so easy to use! I didn’t really use the intensity option for each contraction as my labors are fast and I knew it was getting more intense without tracking it..Version: 2.3.3

GreatObviously an app that I used on one occasion and now deleted. Was quite sad deleting as it played a part in the birth of my child. Sound a bit mad being sad deleting an app. But really helped to time and keep it recorded to show midwife. Really great tool to use would recommend to any mum to be..Version: 1.1.10

Easy to useVery straight forward to use and has all the info you need for tracking the contractions..Version: 1.1.10

Easy to Use & AccurateMakes tracking contractions so easy!!!.Version: 1.1.10

Simple and easy to useI was able to time a lot of these myself since it was so quick and easy. The feature to touch anywhere on the screen to end is especially helpful. My husband timescthem for a couple of hours while we were in bed (a time that it’s helpful not to have to spend too much time looking at a screen). My labor slowed down and sped up a lot (2 min apart, then 8 min apart) over the hours and it was helpful to be able to qualify. Now we have a beautiful little girl!.Version: 2.2.3

WorksWorks well, easy and handy to use..Version: 2.3.3

Great little appUsed this when I went into labour a week ago, very simple to use and good to be able to show the staff at the hospital when we arrived to give birth. I’m still using the app to track BF times as I can count the feed as a contraction and then the gap in between. Handy..Version: 1.1.10

Perfect app for labour!Easy to use & takes the guess work out of it all..Version: 2.3.3

Love this app. It’s so weird that people get mad that you are advertising for a FREE app! Lol! Go to your notifications and turn the button to “off” for the apps you don’t want them from. Simple. I don’t mind your marketing. Thank you for helping me realize I’m in labour :) you are appreciated..Version: 2.3.3

Great appUsing to time my pre labour contractions. Tried a few different apps but this one wins!.Version: 2.1.4

Simple & EasyGreat app. Very simple and easy to use. Worked wonder for us. Would recommend this app over all others..Version: 2.1.4

Straight forwardSimple to use; straight away I was able to start using it, know where to find the functions etc. The graphs are a good way to see how far along mum is. The only bad thing I have found so far is that I expected the app to override my phone’s auto-lock. However, I can do that manually..Version: 1.1.10

GoodGood.Version: 2.3.3

UsefulUseful to see the ‘overview’ to see if you are making progress. Easy to use when you’re the one in labour, as the instructions are very simple and means you can go into the zone on your own in the bath and not need your partner around all the time to time your contractions for you..Version: 1.1.10

Simple and EfficientSuch a simple interface and easy to use. Gets the job done efficiently. Gives all the relevant information that you need like the time between contractions and how long each contraction is and it even enables us to select the intensity of the contractions. And it’s free! Highly recommended..Version: 2.3.3

Great appI was using another app which was so crap, and decided to give this one a go. Not only was it accurate at monitoring, but the fact you can change the intensity of the contractions to what you’re experiencing is fantastic. Really keeps a true monitor of what you’re going through..Version: 2.1.3

So helpfulWas great to use whilst having contractions. Made it easy to show my midwife where I was up to at home, and made it easy to know when to go to hospital..Version: 1.1.10

Good: here's whyEasy to use in the 'heat' of a passionate contraction. Clearly records times of contractions and distance between. Also time stamps. We used other apps that told us we got it wrong when we had a long contraction. That app was wrong! This is good..Version: 1.1.10

Great contraction loggerVery easy to use. A few times I started logging a contraction, put down my phone and accidentally bumped the screen and stopped the timer. I wish there was a continue button. Also, the intensity slider was hard to use, buttons would probably be better..Version: 1.1.10

Would recommendEasy to use. Does what it says it does..Version: 2.3.3

Easy to use, has everything you needGood app, was easy to use and had everything you need without over complicating things..Version: 1.1.10

Guys, it’s freeIt’s a great free app. You can turn the notifications off if you don’t want their ads for their other apps. I think this app is great and simple to use, also easy to read and review. Thank you!.Version: 2.3.3
