✓ Beware they charge you instantly and don’t let you have the 7 day trialI accepted the 7 day trial but it charged me straight away so now I’m £23:49 down. It didn’t let me have 7 days trial as charged me instantly, absolutely fuming. Beware.Version: 5.13.1
✓ Simply the bestIt does what it does well. Couldn't ask for any thing more Addendum. Now you can't as a legacy user purchase individual packs. Now they make you do subscription. ✓ Terrible update!! All features lost!This new update is abhorrent and absolutely reprehensible. It took away always every aspect that used to make it great. It’s basically now a glorified filters app. You used to be able to add cool effects like “mist” or “fog” or “snow flakes” that looked legitimately like real environmental elements, anything from “water droplet effects” to “lens flares” to things that I’ve never seen before over a photo. But now none of that is there for free but INSTEAD behind “Packs” that you now have to purchase. And it was so difficult to figure out where they’d gone..Version: 6.3.0

✓ SteveI noticed the same scan lines as the previous reviewer did. Might be able to remove them in further editing with another app but it's something that should be fixed. Decent options for adjusting the effects but a masking tool would be nice so we could place the effects behind the subject. $3.99 per effect pack seems kinda steep... but in general, with some fine tuning, seems like a good app. Despite the minor flaws I'll probably still use it from time to time..Version: 2.2.0
✓ Shrinks the file size way too muchI have the paid version and it’s fine for posting on Instagram or Facebook but I can’t print any of the images I make with this app because it makes the file size too small. ✓ Great App, but where’s the iPad support?This is a great app. I use it constantly to add an extra touch of emotion and atmosphere to a lot of my photos. The major complaint I have is that I do everything on my iPad, from Lightroom, and Photoshop, as well as schedule and post to instagram through Later. I know there are other solutions, but ultimately if LD added horizontal support to an iPad app so I can stay on my iPad and Magic Keyboard, this would be a 5 star review. I’m not even asking for additional features! 😀 Keep up the great work. I’ll keep using this app to add to my photos, despite how frustrating it can be..Version: 4.7.2

You have to sift through the ones you’ve purchased to avoid the ones that you haven’t purchased. ✓ Great content, poor design.This app has some of the greatest editing tools imaginable, and allows for some extremely cinematic and powerful images. However, I have one problem, and that is the lack of more than 5 layers. It’s so annoying to have to screenshot your ‘finished’ photo, then open the app again, edit and create four new effects, and then do it all over until you have your finished product. It’s not that hard at all to up the layer capacity to something like 10. It’s necessary for an app like this to have more than 4 layers with the huge amount of content and effects available to it. Even cheap free apps that I’ve used in the past have 10 or unlimited amounts of layers to edit and create with, and now that I’m dealing with a professional and elegant editing app, I expect more..Version: 4.0.3
✓ Picture quality....So, I’m not sure what’s going on, but I import I to LD, and when I zoom in it looks like the image is 1 pixel total. Blurry, all the sharpness gone... what happened? Why doesn’t a photo import at the same quality? Fuzzy, blurry, out of focus and low quality... ✓ Needs UI overhaul and an iPad version desperatelyThe effects are fantastic and very high quality. The UI on iPhone has a lot to be desired. You need to be able to manipulate the image itself by allowing users to crop, zoom and rotate the base background mage. It needs to allow landscape in addition to the forced portrait orientation. It also desperately needs an iPad version. A ton of photographers use their phones and iPads as their main editing tool now a days. The effects are great. The app itself needs work..Version: 3.1.3

✓ Slightly disappointedI downloaded this app because I wanted something similar to Lightroom without paying the extreme amount. First yes I loved how you can add the fog affect just with you can erase the areas where you don't want the fog or mist. Second, when I tried to save the edited photo feeling good about how it came out, it would not let me save it. I edited a different picture and same thing, ugh frustrating. ✓ Not Worth The PriceThis app has a single major flaw that makes it essentially unusable. You can't zoom the base, background image to assist with placing the overlay effect. You're stuck with your image crammed full scale onto the screen of your iPhone. Also, the app only works in portrait mode on the phone. So, you can't rotate the phone to work in landscape orientation, even if you're working on an image that was taken in landscape orientation. As a result, the finished product is, well, amateurish at best. Now, of course we're talking about using an app to overlay false effects onto an image. But if you want your results to look even remotely realistic, precise placement of the effect matters. And If you're lucky enough to be able to place your effect in the right spot, you can almost guarantee that, 9 times out of 10 when you lift your finger from the screen, the effect will move, if only just a little bit. That's not something one would expect from a subscription-based app that costs $12 per year to use. I recommend looking elsewhere..Version: 3.1.0
