Chapter 5Got bored waiting for last chapter. Numerous deadlines passed with no game. Looks like it’s not coming. Thank you for your link for refund. With reference to the last sentence above and to be honest to all those who have purchased the game, is this now an admission that chapter 5 is not being released? Again thank you for your more honest answer about release dates and believe it or not that’s all people are wanting to hear. Now can you give a more complete answer and tell us who or what is holding things up. As customers we deserve a more complete answer..Version: 4.2.3

A decent puzzle gameThere’s an over reliance on “memorize this, go there, put in the thing” that’s repeated very heavily. Often times they can’t think of how to reward you with exploration in interesting ways, so certain dead ends lead to multiple items and nothing else. If you open any room, you’ll often see only 1 or 2 puzzles, or a group of items to grab that won’t be used creatively. I can appreciate the stylistic choices and it’s clear there’s effort here but it’s not one I’d replay. I’d much more recommend games like The Room for highly stylized, interesting puzzle games..Version: 5.1.0

I uninstalledI stopped playing when I hit a bunch of puzzles that were “remember a code, go back 5 screens and enter the code”. I then uninstalled the game because the update to 5.2.2 is over 800Mb yet still “Minor bug fixes”..Version: 5.2.2

Deeply disappointedAfter such a long wait for Chapter 5, you can not blame me for expecting more. Chapters 1-4 were brilliant. The puzzles took a bit of thinking and the plot gripping. Chapter 5 ruined all of that hard work and build up. I completed it in no more than 45 minutes which is ridiculous considering the update was pushed back and back. I presumed it was because they were adding the and more to it. Now I think perhaps it was because they had got bored. The “puzzles” were non-existent. 3 true puzzles and even then, no thinking was required. You just had to remember a picture in another room. The plot disappeared. It was not fully realised in ch 5 which is a real shame as, again, they really built up this chapter before it’s release and the previous chapters were excellent. In conclusion; ch 1-4 are five stars. Ch 5, one star so it averages out to 3. Cp 5 felt like a short epilogue and an advert for the next game series from them as opposed to the finale to a (previously) gripping plot. They should have ended with ch 4..Version: 5.0.0

Fun game, horrible endingThe game is fun, the first four chapters are definitely worth it. However, my 3 star review is because it seemed like the company didn’t care about the game anymore in chapter 5. The dialogue was horrible, and the chapter seemed rushed and not well thought out. For having delay upon delay, you’d think it would be the best chapter, but basic puzzles in a chapter that took 15-30 minutes at most, was disappointing to say the least. I was not challenged at all and felt as if I was just completing the game to complete it. I’m assuming, based on the ending, they might make another type of game like this. I just pray they put more thought into it and don’t release a garbage game like the last chapter. It’s a shame they would just toss this chapter out to say they completed the game. It sort of gives me low hopes for Down In Bermuda which I was looking forward too..Version: 5.0.0

Chapter 5 very disappointed. It took me about 15 minutes to make it through Chapter 5, which was made worse by the amount of time we waited for the final release. Which wouldn’t have been so bad had we not been promised chapter 5 months before it’s actual release. This game is a lot of fun, chapters 1-4 have a good amount of challenge, and the narrative is good. Chapter 5 seemed just kinda tacked with only real puzzle and a bunch of back and forth. I gave the benefit of the doubt, waiting for chapter 5. I am very disappointed and feel a bit let down. As I said, overall the game is excellent, but I’ve been here since day 1 waiting for the next chapters, with the last one being the most anticipated. With all of the delays, I could understand if it was better than this..Version: 5.0.0

DisappointedThis game was great at first, slightly challenging and witty but then with the whole push back on the release of the final chapter to have me beat it in under an hour? What were the last 8 months spent working on? i’m just happy I don’t have to wait around any longer. also the end credits was a cop out. “here’s a little teaser to keep you interested enough to hopefully pass over the fact we dropped the ball on this last chapter and made you wait so long” sad..Version: 5.0.0

The worst escape game I’ve played yetDon't buy this. Nothing is logic and sometimes it doesn’t show the right thing so you can't solve the puzzle. Way overpriced for what it is. I recommend Rusty Lake, it's way more intuitive and cheaper..Version: 5.5.5

HORRIBLE GAME DO NOT BUYI spent six bucks to play a good puzzle game. Paying that much money, one would expect to enjoy the game and for it to be long and quizzical. I finished the game in less than four days. Sure the plot line is somewhat interesting, but the game is a complete and total ripoff. There is only four chapters available, and the fifth one requires you to subscribe to their website. Not happy with the gameplay as it it very unrealistic and never something you would spend six bucks on. The developers are laughing in their chairs seeing how much people have bought this game. Yes, there is an option to replay a chapter but it’s not as fun if there was a longer plot. One star for the lazy effort by the developers, forcing the players to subscribe to their website, and for being overpriced and a complete waste of six dollars..Version: 4.8.2

I’ve given up on this game ever being finishedOne of my FAVORITE games. I, like many others, have been playing this game since the beginning and have been anxiously awaiting Chapter 5. They said it’d be done in January. Still waiting for that chapter, and we haven’t received a single update from the developers since the new year. It is now MAY. I don’t think they’re even going to finish it at this point. I’ve been keeping this app on my iPad for months just so I get a notification as soon as Chapter 5 is ready (like they promised it would be). It might be time for me to delete and forget. This game has been amazing; but the app developers have really let their fans down. Especially since another review said they’re working on a new game. If Chapter 5 is ever finished I’ll update my review, because this game deserves 5 stars. But unfortunately the developers do not, and they might not even deserve our business/interest at this point. YOU LOST ME, AGENT A..Version: 4.2.3

It has its good pointsIt’s fun and quirky, certainly not written with the same level of detail or intellect as The Room series. The oversimplified premise and the gender-specific play is more burdensome than beneficial. I’m assuming this was designed by someone who watched 2 episodes of Archer and wanted to make a simple adventure game “for all of us.” It’s more cute than clever. I am not yet convinced it’s worth the price tag, but I’m going to continue playing. The hidden patterns are great, but sometimes the “do this before that” is convoluted and doesn’t make a lot of sense. The bright graphics is a big plus factor..Version: 4.0.1

Waiting gameLoved the game, over waiting for an update.Version: 1.1.0

Extremely disappointing finaleAfter almost a year and a half of waiting for the final chapter of this game, we received a completely uninspiring, unexciting and underdeveloped update with cheap graphics and shortest gameplay. An extremely disappointing end of a fantastic game..Version: 5.0.0

Amazing game but…This is an amazing game and anyone that plays will know that but the one flaw is it’s now $15 to play all chapters I hate this, I know the games needs money but they didn’t use to charge people and $15!! That’s a lot of money for a game I’ve been playing this since it was first releases and I’m now very disappointed. PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS GAME PLEASE MAKE IT FREE it’s such a good game and it’s disappointing that I can’t play anymore. Very sad about this.Version: 5.5.5

Waiting to chapter 5 forever and I think I know whyThey keep giving different timelines for releasing the final chapter and never meet the deadline. I think I know why. They must be developing a new game at the same time and don't want to release the final chapter until they have a new game to market with it. Otherwise they will miss out on big sales while people are still excited about their company's products. Makes sense, but at least be honest about your claims. EDIT: Of course I was right. On their website they are advertising an upcoming game, Down in Bermuda. I would love to buy that game too, but don't really trust this developer anymore..Version: 4.2.3

Long wait for a disheartening chapter 5The rest of the chapters were fun and thoughtful. I appreciate the effort Yak team.Version: 5.0.0

A premium game with no endingThere is still no ending to this game, chapter 5 has been teased and promised for many months now but the developer has just given vague excuses about "the timing of the release being out of their hands" whilst also saying they are a 2 man team and it takes time for each update .. which is it? I've seen game jams bang out more content that an episode of Agent A in a weekend. I love the game but please be upfront with the people actually giving you money for this project. What is going on and what is your revised delivery deadline? I will review again once a response is received.Version: 4.2.3

Very short final chapterAs a complete game very enjoyable first 4 chapters were short but entertaining. We had to wait a long time for chapter 5...Was it worth the wait sadly no chapter 5 is really short I mean really really short. Completed it in a very short space of time 2 hours or so I was expecting the puzzles to be more challenging and longer game play. Very frustrating There should of been a good 5-10 hours game play for chapter 5 as it is the final chapter..Version: 5.1.0

I’d love to give 5 ratings... but chapter 5 is too disappointing.I’m a huge fan of Agent A game. I’d really love to give full stars for it because it’s so much fun. I love the story, the interaction, puzzles, and graphics, but the only reason I gave 3 stars is that the chapter 5, which I’d waited for soooo loooong time, is too short and disappointing. I mean, when yak and co said be patient for the final chapter, I literally check their website and app store for the update almost every day - I was excited and had a high anticipation like that. But the final chapter is too short, involves less thoughts, and an disappointing ending. I thought I have some alternative ending at least, but I don’t think so.... I’ll try to get every trophy just for fun and get the best out of it, but please consider making a sequel or something. Overall, this is one of the best puzzle and interactive game so far. It’s worth the money for sure. I also expect and am waiting to play for their next game - either Agent B or whatever the new game they’re making. Thanks for the great game, yak and co, but like I mentioned, please consider adding the bonus stage or the sequel for Agent A. Keep up the good work! Thanks..Version: 5.0.0

Great game howeverI really enjoy this game. I have played it countless times mainly on my Apple TV. It’s fun, doesn’t get boring and has a wonderful classic feel. However I’m only giving 3 stars. My biggest complaint and frustration is when Chapter 5 came out I no longer could play it on my Apple TV. You open the game and says to connect a game pad with no way to proceed without a game pad. A game pad is not necessary to play or enjoy this game and it’s really frustrating that a game that I’m pretty sure cost me money is forcing me to procure a piece of equipment that is not integral to gameplay. While it might make playing a little easier I had no issues using my remote. I can’t even use the apple tv remote app on my iPhone as a game pad even though it has a game pad mode. It’s extremely frustrating and I think it was a huge oversight to make gameplay impossible on the AppleTV without a game pad. At the very least make it optional, it’s no detriment to the developers so there’s no reason to not have the option..Version: 5.1.0

What a disappointing ending! My Daughter and I enjoyed playing this game so much! Especially chapters 1-3 with great puzzles that made us really use our brains. Chapter 4 fell a little short of the standards set by the previous ones, but was good enough, and laid the ground for a very promising and exciting chapter 5. After after a very frustrating 20 month wait, where we literally checked for updates everyday, expectations were high when it was finally released. I thought it would have been at least at the same level of chapters 1-3. Instead, we were finished within a few hours, without even thinking too hard, and with a very anticlimactic and expected ending. It feels like the “Final blow” was rushed through the door at the last minute. This game had so much potential for a way better and more exciting ending! I feel so let down. Now I know the difficulties and resources needed to develop such a great game, but I feel Yak and Co. really dropped the ball on this one. Maybe someone just downloading the game now without having to wait wouldn’t mind, but for us fans who followed this great game since the beginning, this is a rather cruel ending..Version: 5.0.0

Enjoyed it while it lastedI did enjoy this game, but it keeps crashing out. The note feature is unusable as crashes the game instantly. Otherwise this is an engaging puzzle narrative, not too difficult, and finally completes the story with Chapter 5. Shame they never fixed the bugs..Version: 5.0.0
