Be careful! There is no monthly payment or free trial. It will make it seem like that, then charge you $50 for the entire subscription. Dirty!!.Version: 10.4.0

Just Falls ShortI truly wanted to like this app. I’ve logged my foods for several years on another app that I reluctantly gave up because the subscription cost is pretty substantial as apps go. I searched and found this one, and paid for it. But I realized immediately that many, MANY of the foods I logged had false or inaccurate nutritional information attached to them. I’ve also been an intermittent faster for years and was so excited that I could finally combine food tracker with my fast records. Very disappointed that first you can’t choose from more preset options (I do anywhere from 19:5 to 23:1), and although the fasting times can supposedly be manually adjusted, I’ve had no luck with that whatsoever. I’ve used about e dry fasting tracker app out there so I’m well versed on how to manually adjust those times. My suggestion would be to save your money. I bit the bullet and paid the high price for the app that’s accurate and user friendly. I’d love my money back l for this one but that’s not gonna happen. Fix your app and exercise more vigilant quality control..Version: 8.8.5

So far so goodWill update review in a bit after more use…. but for now fairly good app. Only exception at the moment is that the barcode scanner can take a long time to automatically trigger and app frequently locks up. Not good..Version: 9.8.2

Good app but lacks a few major featuresGood app but lacks a few things like adding steps, barcode scanner and there are heaps of recipes but they are not part of the choices to add to your intake so every recipe you make you have to breakdown to seperate ingredients. Very time consuming!.Version: 5.7.1

They’ll take your money for whatNutritional information on a lot of foods is incorrect as it been added by customers and requires constant editing. YAZIO does not ensure info correctness. And if you don’t interact with the app on a continual basis you data can be lost. I lost months of my data after being out of the country fo 3 weeks with no continued connectivity. Upon return my data was not retrievable and YAZIO says they can not locate it 😳 so what have I been paying for? Also there is little or no customer support with respect to other glitches in their app. Only offering contact by messenger it can take days to hear back from them. They take your money and you’re on your own. Ensuring your data is stored and accessible to you, at a minimum, is beyond their capability..Version: 10.6.0

Does not allow Chinese input methodUsing english as system language, does not allow me to use 3rd party input methods. then I have to input English name for all Chinese food? That's just a way of wasting my time on translating and reading, doesn't make sense..Version: 7.2.2

What a Con!First, there is no way to contact the developers. If you click on the app’s CONTACT link, you are shifted to an internet page display German addresses but NO EMAIL. Second, there is no way to enter steps walked or miles bicycled. Yes, there is a place to type the number of steps walked, but there is no enter button or any other to actually get the data into the app for processing. And nothing at all about bicycling. Third, there is no plan for both losing weight and maintaining muscles. Reducing calories may kill some fat, but it also really hits those muscles. And strengthening muscles requires caloric intake which can also really built up the fat cells. Any healthy regime must be built on an interactive regime of the right diet and the right exercise. The developers of this app are apparently unaware of this, which makes the entire app suspect. Fourth, the app expects the user to have an Apple Watch or a Fitbit or some other external device to monitor your walking and/or running. The free app doesn’t seem to really offer anything much and the subscribed app doesn’t apparently offer much more beyond its own self-promotion. There may be more, but without a way to communicate with them, there is nothing I can see to warrant getting the app. In summary, the.Version: 6.1.4

Fasting is annoyingI downloaded this app with intentions of combining my fasting app with MFP. The fasting numbers are way off. I keep setting the time and it’s only counting a 13 hour fast when it should be 16. How does this make it to market?.Version: 7.3.6

Dreadful with latest updatePlease revert back to previous version, the latest update obfuscates all the information that’s useful. The previous version used to list everything you’d eaten in a day on a single page, so it was easy to see if you’d added everything. This just gives you ridiculous symbols, not helpful and not aesthetically pleasing. I also don’t want it to automatically adjust my daily calorie target based on what it ‘thinks’ I’ve burnt. It also now adjusts the targets intakes of fat, protein and carbohydrates, which is particularly unhelpful for anyone who was aiming to stick to their original goal irrespective of their daily exercise..Version: 6.0.2

ThanksThanks for charging me for a subscription I never even asked for. You didn’t even give me an option to purchase you just simply took my money without even asking if I wanted to even trial this program. I had no intentions of continuing with this app and I didn’t even know you took my money until I went to uninstall it. Thanks I hope everyone is aware of this company. They take before even asking..Version: 6.4.6

So disappointedI wish there had been a free trial available before purchasing a subscription. I chose this out of all the apps because it was the only one that counted both fasting and calories. I was excited to see that there was an updated version which was supposed to address some of the issues I am having. It states that the updated version allows you to customize your fast times. It either does not or I can’t figure out how to do it. You cannot enter your meal times. The time for the 16:8 skip dinner fast automatically runs from 2:00 pm to 6:00 am. I am not even up at 6:00 am. The most frustrating part of the app is the calorie counter. It is so random. For example, a cup of grapes is listed as 350 calories. Even foods identified by brand are wrong. Not even standard measurements are correct. Sometimes a cup is listed as 4 oz sometimes 3.5, sometimes something else. Last time I checked, a cup is 8 oz. The whole thing is clunky. The only thing I do like is the estimation of weeks left until the weight goal is reached..Version: 6.5.1

Minor and major issuesThe app on the surface level is absolutely amazing it has nutrition water food recommendations and a lot more stuff but when I was using it there were some major issues with storing data like sometimes I would put a meal in but then you close the app and it just disappears and sometimes it would just comeback later which is kinda weird but a lot of the times it doesn’t comeback so you have to constantly re put in meals And also the nutrition facts on the app have minor to very severe errors when comparing it to the label in real life and also when you scan a barcode multiple foods come up that are the same exact thing just with different nutrition facts..Version: 9.9.2

Too Many Steps!!!It is very annoying to have to take unnecessary steps to enter meals. How about Enter? Once! If I want analysis, I should have the choice if interested, otherwise, Enter and on to the next meal. Please allow us to streamline entry. You are lucky to get a 3. M.Version: 9.8.2

Beware of automatic renewalI used this app for a while and found it helpful, however pro benefits were not worth the paid subscription. I had made sure that no subscriptions were due to automatically renew in my settings , however this app automatically renewed anyway - somehow this renewed without being renewed through itunes. I contacted them explaining my issue and was told that refund was not possible- and this is how I had to pay for another YEAR subscription ! Awful customer service- beware!.Version: 6.4.8

US based pointless in UKAs a calorie counter for UK based users impossible to input anything. Huge shame. Well laid out app but had I known it will be impossible to input any UK based food items I would have never joined & paid. This should have been made clear from the outset. I feel cheated to be honest. The price is reasonable if it would work. But as it is this app is pointless. It is also quite restrictive what one can input. I couldn't input a bean sprout & cucumber salad with my own dressing. Maybe if after Brexit the US will colonise the UK it might become useful? Let’s hope so. That is my only hope I will be able to use it..Version: 5.9.4

SO FRUSTRATINGRant: I don’t know how this app has this high of a rating. The app layout whilst a little confusing it has everything there for you which is great, including 3 meals + water intake and weight and anything else you can think of. HOWEVER, when you log what you eat, the only option is grams no matter the food. For example, this morning I had half a slice of toast, there is no option for that, I have to weigh my toast? This is for every single food, if I have some yoghurt in a tube, I have to manually input the weight rather than say ‘1 sachet’ and I want to love this app, but how is this possible! The app lose it will give you heaps of measurements of units, eg. tablespoons, grams, ounces, and include 1 sachet, half a sachet etc. I just cannot believe no one is complaining about this please change it I want to love this app so much!.Version: 5.2.7

Great app but very inaccurateThis app has a lot of potential. The layout is easy and it has a lot of great features. The reason I gave a lower rating is because the food database is badly flawed. A lot of specific foods have been added but without the micronutrient values. Where micronutrients are in the database, or you try to enter them from the label, you can’t because the inputs are all wrong. The app measures sodium in grams but sodium is measured in mg. It keeps telling me I’m eating 100,000+ grams because the database has a lot of bad data and they don’t seem interested in fixing the problem. This would be a great app if they would just fix the database problems..Version: 9.8.2

It’s good but…Well, I downloaded the app this morning, I found it on par with other apps in a similar category. For a nap I had no idea about it was a little pricey, but I decided to download it and do the trial. I’m looking for the right tool not necessarily, the cheapest app. I downloaded the free trial. It entered me into a competition to win 50% off. I didn’t win it and then all of a sudden the screen popped up giving it to me. There was a one hour window on the timer. With a one week trial who has time to evaluate an app in one hour, seriously? Once the timer runs out, it goes back to regular price, but I want to spend my time reading reviews and seeing what other people think and how easy it is, and watching videos and doing comparisons, I don’t just spend money frivolously, and we all know how hard it is to get refunds on apps. At the end of the day, I decided to go with another app, one that didn’t offer a free trial, but gave me one just because I asked that’s a simple to use. It is more expensive but their business practices attract me a lot more. The deal is a good deal and I would recommend before anybody downloads this app for a trial do the research first that way if this app is the right one for you you saved a bunch of money..Version: 10.4.0

My Fitness Pal betterI got 20+ kgs down with my fitness pal but three gained 2kgs not even a week after using yazio??? Crazy.Version: 9.8.2

Don’t Waste Your MoneyI bought a year membership to this app and I wish I had saved my money. There’s no UK foods in this database from what I can see. Every time I scan a barcode, I never get a match. I accidentally added a food twice to my diary and I can’t seem to take it out. It’s an utterly frustrating experience and I can’t believe Apple recommended it to me. I was using it as an alternative to MyFitnessPal but I’m going to go back to that app. I didn’t pay them a penny and I got exactly what I needed from it. I was drawn to this as the recipes looked good. So disappointing. I wish I could get a refund..Version: 6.1.4

Useless - try before subscribing. Can’t allow me to adjust my fasting plan, I want OMAD, it only offers 16:8, it insists on distributing calories over meals across the day, and do many other dumb stuff that there is no mean to adjust to your own goals. Wasted subscription for one year, don’t subscribe be before trying it out first, I hit fooled by the good reviews..Version: 8.9.8

Buyer beware. Was overcharged. Will not refund full cost.I got an offer to get this app at a cheaper rate due to my birthday. I accepted it and paid 1/2 price via their website. Next day I logged onto the website and was charged the full price. As soon as I realised this I contacted the administrator of Yazio for a refund. They replied that they would only refund the discounted fare. So basically they won’t allow me to get the discount fare which is the only reason why I joined up..Version: 5.3.1

PicturesWhen your making a recipe and want to find the exact thing with right amount of calories, for example I want to put green beans and carrots there is only a mixed veg and no picture.Version: 10.4.0

Bait and Switch - $30 a year for anything but a calorie trackerWell that was extremely disappointing. I downloaded the app after seeing high review ratings, read the destruction in the App Store, and had seen some options for pro features to pay for 6 months or 12 months, etc. But after I opened the all and began signing up, low and behold, there is NOTHING accessible in the “limited” app except a calorie tracker. Really?! Then please update your app description because this was very misleading. No sooner did I enter my email, the app asked me to choose if I wanted the “Limited” option with calorie tracker only, or if I wanted to pay the $30 a year for the Pro Features (everything worthwhile...). So, no recipes, no meal plans, no statistics tracking, no fitness tracking, no mood tracking. TLDR; don’t bother downloading if you don’t feel like paying the $30 right out the gate..Version: 7.0.4

Meal PlansWhy do you remove the meals plans .. I love that category. I used breastfeeding diet, pregnant diet and many more . It was the best thing for the app . I buy it again because I have the second child and I wanted to use the program again .. but with a big disappointment I saw that the program was removed. Please bring that program back!!!.Version: 8.3.16

Good app :)👌🏻.Version: 3.4.65

Lost dataI loved this app and been using it for almost two years BUT today, I was logged out from the app suddenly and with no reason, and I could not log in again!! The app could not recognize my apple ID, showing an error saying there is no user account for this apple ID, but when I tried to sign up again with my apple ID, another error showed up saying this apple ID is already in use!!! I tried to contact their support team from YAZIO website, it was a dead end! so frustrating! Finally I found a way in help section in the website and started the app as a basic user then from there I restored my purchase but now I all my data is gone now.. all my progress, all my recepies, all the ones that I created... I would give the app 5 stars if I could restore my data! but i think i should switch to other calorie counting apps.. some more reliable one!!.Version: 7.4.2

YAZIO is huge headacheI got a new phone and downloaded YAZIO which I paid subscription till May but on new phone it won’t let me see recipes. I can’t find away to contact, at first it wouldn’t let me log in and when I would request help with password you all would not send password. So I had to dig through my passwords till I found it so it loaded info from profile but not completely correctly I had to go in an edit plus it didn’t load any old data. As far as the app goes I prefer my fitness pal. This has a lot of incorrect data if you compare nutritional data on packaging to app. Plus if you try to input new food a lot of times it will give you a stupid message (I can’t remember exactly how it’s worded) but essentially it tells you nutritional data doesn’t add up to serving. I feel my fitness pal is more user friendly. The only thing I like better is the note section so you can track moods or health from day to day. Oh and calories burnt don’t match with other sources, I tried to online sources and a book, at least 2 of them match but rarely does YAZIO info match. At first I thought maybe I will like it better if I use it longer, I’m on my second year because I forgot to cancel subscription before it was deducted but like I mentioned before I can’t use recipes on new phone so if not correctly I have no reason to continue with this app..Version: 7.10.1

A few major issuesYazio seems to be an intuitive and easy to use calorie counter and fasting timer. It’s well developed and does the job. That said, there are a couple of glaring issues. The first three barcodes I scanned offered incorrect calorie or serving calculations, different to what was written on the nutrition info on the package. There is no recourse to alter the calories for the barcoded food, so instead you have to manually enter a ‘custom’ food. There needs to be a button down the bottom of each food that says ‘is this information correct?’ Which offers a chance to leave feedback or take a photo of the nutrition info to send to developers. It’s really frustrating because this is one of the more accessible options in the app. The second issue is entering sodium amounts when creating a new food. Sodium is only ever listed in mg (milligrams) on foods, and not grams as listed. Seems like a major oversight by developers. Overall, I might keep using this to keep track, but it won’t be my go-to as I’d hoped..Version: 8.9.2

New UI is terrible - too many clicksDropped rating from 5 to 3 as the recent updated UI is horrible. Way too many clicks to log and do anything, unintuitive menus. The update added nothing but extra wasted pop ups. Go do some UX training..Version: 9.0.7

Very poor experience.Bought it for the Fitbit connection, turns out Yazio pulls almost no data from the fitbit. Developer will not refund even though app clearly does not do what they state it does. Beware before you buy... very, very disappointed..Version: 5.5.4

Not great for vegans and vegetariansFirst the good. I like the water tracker. I am definitely drinking more water because of this app. I like how you can see all the nutritional info easily for each meal. This was more difficult with MyFitnessPal. They have a FB support and the people are super supportive and helpful in that group. The not so good. Adding a recipe had to be done manually. You can’t import one from the web like you can with MyFitnessPal. I am not sure I trust their calorie calculator. There is a coaching app to support intermittent fasting and offer different challenges. This would be good except it doesn’t work well for vegans or vegetarians. It includes lots of menu suggestions and recipes but not for vegans. There are a few vegan recipes but there are not very good. Would not make again. The whole coaching aspect is bad for me because it keeps telling me to eat animals (vegan for 20 years). Bottom line, what I paid the extra money for is useless for vegans and vegetarians. Only benefit over MyFitnessPal is the water tracker. If I knew that I would have saved my money..Version: 6.4.0

It’s okI first saw an ad for this app on Instagram where it was comparing their food database to MFPs, they were saying theirs were better. That’s not true. Everything I’ve tried to input into this database to add to my food diary couldn’t be found whereas MFP had no troubles. The portion sizing is just weird. Ounces or grams are the only things you have available and sometimes it’s just wrong! I tried to put in an 8oz cup of hit chocolate into my food diary and it said it was over 900 calories! But if it kept it at the ounce it was correct. Completely inaccurate. I also don’t like how it tracks weight. I’m attempting to lose weight and having a visual chart the tracks your progress over the days, weeks, months, is pretty nice, but with this you only input your weight based on when you weigh yourself. It doesn’t track the progress or the ups and downs. The interface is nice and I like the design, but there are a few things that it needs to work on before I truly commit to this app. Also, they need to not try to tear another company down if they can’t back up their claims. It’s just tacky and disappointing.Version: 6.3.1

Wildly inaccurateFirst meal I tried to enter. Small snack. First item..gave me 625000 mg sodium. Couldn’t edit it. Then couldn’t find decaf with milk. First 10 minutes were therefore useless. Back to clunky MyFitnessPal. Ps also go roped into yearly subscription, of which I used 10 minutes. 🤦🏻‍♂️..Version: 8.16.3

If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it!Haven’t the creators of YAZIO heard the adage ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ ? The latest update is radical and awful! I’m angry about it. This app was brilliant up to the point when some ‘genius’ app developer, probably new and keen to impress, decided to update the app with a completely different look. It looks pretty, but after an initial gasp at the new look you realise it’s pretty awful. There’s no longer any recipes shared on my diary timeline- I loved those, they transformed my diet. Why YAZIO WHY?! It no longer remembers your past meals for quick entry. Certain stats in the nutritional values of your day no longer show. I have high blood pressure so I have loved the feature that shows how much salt has been in my diet over the day. It no longer shows this. It only shows the basics - carbs fat and protein. Ffs!!!! It also Crashes when trying to share stats. CRASHES!!! This was unheard of before. You have ruined this app. YAZIO please sort it out otherwise I will reluctantly cancel my subscription and move on to something else..Version: 6.0.0

IPhone app not loadingI’m on the first opening loading page it seems and have had it open for a while but it not actually opening into the app. It’s downloaded on my Apple Watch though and from that it seems great but easier to use with the iPhone app I’m assuming so would be great if I could use the app. Don’t know why it isn’t working- will rate higher if I can get into that app of course cause it seems great from the watch alone.Version: 6.7.3

Please let us add nutrients per serving rather then per the required 100 gSo annoying having to go to sites that don’t have the nutritional information per 100g so you have to do a bunch of calculations just to get the correct calories and macros.Version: 6.3.2

Good concept, awful executionThe app in itself is good for tracking what you eat and how much nutrition is in everything but you can’t scroll down once without an ad to go premium. I understand that they have to make money but this is ridiculous. I got AT LEAST 10 pop ups while scrolling half way through a recipe in app. As well as this, if you do decide to finally give in you are made to pay for a minimum of 3 months at a time, rather than the monthly price they advertise..Version: 4.10.4

Meal plans can be improved. This app is ok for tracking meals and exercise but they could really improve on meal plans. What I mind is that when you select a meal plan, you can’t see the meals for the days that pass. Sometimes it happens that yes I do a shopping for meals for the week but can’t do the meal on the particular day as per plan. Then it’s my bad because I can’t see it in my diary retrospectively. So basically you have to remember or write down the meals for the day and then look the recipe up. This is very unpractical..Version: 5.9.4

DO NOT BUY THROUGH EMAIL SCAMI purchased the membership due to an email offer i received that was only $5 for the first year, i payed through their site and was charged $30 instead. ITS NOT WORTH THIS AT ALL and they refuse to do anything about this EVEN OFFER A REFUND AND TAKE THE MEMBERSHIP I REFUSED TO USE THEY DIDNT EVEN ANSWER EMAILS SCAMM!!! i don’t recommend it to anyone.Version: 8.14.1

Horrible food entryHaving used MyFitnessPal for years. I decided to switch to an app which worked better with Apple Health. After one day of frustrating food entry I wish I could get my money back. First of all it requires you to enter all food by the ounce/gram. This might be the most idiotic entry system ever. If I am on the run and stop at Chik-Fil-a for a chicken sandwich. I don’t have a scale on me to weigh it on. If I go to any major vendor or restaurant for nutritional info. It’s based on the item not the ounce. Why can I not enter food by item and a nutritional average. It say in the FAQ if I don’t make the item visible to others I can make serving size whatever I want. This wasn’t true. I unselected visible to others. Went to select and was only given weight options such as gram/ounce. How about sandwich or serving size large, medium or small. This food entry just isn’t for real people with day to day lives who can’t weigh every portion or cook every meal. It’s a real shame as I love the way it looks..Version: 6.3.0

Bad updateWhen set up a new food, the standard can only be 100g or 100ml, but in the old version it can be edited freely by the user, such as 20 kcal per 20g. In addition the salt is now required for food. It should be optional. And place to type in sodium is gone. Please fix!.Version: 7.7.1

Need Better “Add Food” SupportI was a long-term user of another popular calorie tracking app, but found myself looking for an app that synced better with other tracking apps. Enter YAZIO. So far, I find the app absolutely fantastic. The UI is clean and simple, the tracking feels accurate, and the logging is very nice. I’m starting to feel like a permanent convert! However, there is one significant issue: the “Add Food” capability. It certainly makes sense that the food library is smaller than some apps that have been on the market longer. I can’t fault them for that, and have been more than willing to take the time to add foods to their library that I eat and can find the nutritional info for. The issue is that there’s no way to “name” a standard serving. This makes adding food, or logging food another user added, extremely difficult. I understand that it’s oz based, but some menus don’t provide caloric info based on the oz’s of, say, rolls. They tell you how many calories are in a roll! If they offered the user the chance to rename a “standard portion” to something more useful (for example, “1 Roll”) it’d make the database so much more useful! Other than that, the app is fantastic, but this ends up being a bit of a deal breaker. I don’t want to have to add custom foods every time because I can’t figure out what other uses used for their “standard portion” baseline..Version: 5.3.1

Buggy app, poor sync with Apple WatchThe app is fine but considering the cost, really shoddy and in need of improvement. I use it only for tracking food and I am sure the developers can do better..Version: 9.5.0

Just one mod away from perfectI love YAZIO. The features are great, the premium service is affordable and insightful. The only downside I’ve come across that they lack compared to their competitors is the ability to instantly edit calorie and macro information for a product. Products have to change their info from time to time, and sometimes users completely miss some information. There is no way to correct this easily. Either enter in a new product entirely, or “report missing information” which as far as I can tell does little to nothing. If there was an easier way to fix outdated calorie information, I’d say this app is worthy of five stars..Version: 7.4.2

Latest update changeI’ve not long started my journey with macros and calorie counting but the latest update is no good, please change it back on the interface. Even my calories per day have changed and are all out of whack and it’s harder to track with the new interface and warped numbers. I’m new to the app as is and was trialing a few different ones. This was my favourite and I just wanted to see if I liked it enough to purchase the pro version. However with these changes on the last update I think I’ll have to switch to a different app for my goals entirely..Version: 6.0.0

Regret this purchaseSo I bought the 12 month subscription. It’s totally not worth it at all, I get the same repetitive messages telling me to drink water if I’m hungry at least 3 tines a day, the recipe section is limited , it allows for measurements that nobody cares about, the syncing with Garmin is decent but not worth paying for, I honestly feel scammed in paying for this app, I guess we all learn from our mistakes and mine was purchasing this app. There are free apps that do more and are more informative and have more information.Version: 6.1.4

I love it, but I want moreIt’s very difficult to add food and then find it and use it after. It’s like when you add something. You have to search for three minutes four minutes after you add it to find it again I’m not sure why the developers made it that way, but there’s definitely room for improvement there, which is a big part of the program. It’s also pretty confusing, for example, if you buy a meal from the store and you want to add it as a food item, there is recipes, you can add there’s meals you can add I just wanna add the food item and all the nutrients behind it, and be able to find it again and market as a favorite. I don’t need to search for it again, then open it up then mark it as a favorite, that’s just too much work..Version: 9.8.2

Awful account implementation!I really liked the app and kept using it for 3 weeks, until I accidentally logged out (tapped the wrong button). Now all my data and records are gone because I wasn’t informed that my account wasn’t tied to any email or Apple ID. Now I have to start again and try to create a new account using Apple ID, but it won’t let me because it tells me that an account with this Apple ID already exists and suggest that I log in. I try to log in and it won’t let me because this time round apparently no account associated exists. The worst part is that all the data and records are lost and unrecoverable just because I wasn’t informed that I didn’t have an account..Version: 6.5.3

Finally the perfect calorie counting app!Years of using myfitnessPal and also using Nutracheck for a while, between them never did exactly what I want. I don’t need notification, sugggestions of fitness plans etc. I just want a simple app to log calories that has an accurate database. I’ve only used this a week and I am hooked. It’s slick, simple, quick and I’ve never found it so easy to log. I love that when adding, it shows frequent and also recent goes back in date order so it’s really easy to re-add things. I love you can turn off exercise calories and that if setting your macros percentages, it doesn’t amend your calorie goal. My favourite is that you can edit existing public foods and Yazio actually update them! Plus all foods show as 100g amounts so it’s easy to find the right one. I’ve shared this with all my community gym members as I’ll not be reverting back to MFP or any other app. Only suggestion is separate menu to add own meals rather than adding what you eat and then adding it through there..Version: 8.14.1

It has potential (updated)I switched from my fitness pal, the fact it does everything my fitness pal does and more but in a far more sleeker package won me over The app has great potential but it really needs to improve on its food library the one thing that can make or break food logging apps like this. I’ve just signed up to hello fresh so let’s see how food logging works with their menu. Update: I’ve tried to enter a few meals I’ve cooked from hello fresh and the food data is awful I’m not sure why its so difficult to scrape this data from the hellofresh site as it’s publicly available same goes for most supermarkets here in the U.K. I barely see any verified entries for my recipes or ingredients. This is where Yazio is severely lacking behind my fitness pal. It’s no good having a nice interface if the data is awful..Version: 6.7.2

Unable to get a refundUnfortunately I subscribed for a whole year to YAZIO Pro, but after using the app for couple of weeks, I don’t really find it useful for my needs. It shows different caloric values for the same product, and therefore it’s not really reliable. I have raised a refund for the remaining of the period with YAZIO, but they said it has to be done via iTunes, and they refused to refund. I have now payed for a whole years subscription for something that doesn’t serve my needs..Version: 6.7.3

I have been charged for a membership I did not want.Not happy.Version: 10.0.0

Good not greatNew user here coming from MyFitnessPal, so far I like the app and like everyone, the interface is great! I love the integration with Apple watch so much I have added a complication to my watch face! The only complaint is that the data base needs work. I scan items and they are not found, but those same items are in MyFitnessPal. Also there are only 4 meals, I wish I could customize the meal number or like in MyFitnessPal it gives pre workout meal plus 5 meals. All in all I do like the app but the database needs a lot of work, I hate having to substitute a brand to get as close to the macros as I can when it's a name brand food. I am a pro member and bought the 12 month subscription also so..... Update, database still needs work! I scan things and they are not found. Sometimes I have time to enter and I will but others I don't and it gets frustrating..Version: 6.4.6

Be wary.My feed back is in connection with automatic renewal contracts. This is one of them. They do not play fair under the Uk consumer rights act of informing you that your subscription is up for renewal, or give you a grace period to cancel when they have taken your money. They say it is not possible to refund if you have purchased through Apple or I tunes, quoting unable to access your payment details. A poor contract in the first place then. Obviously have no confidence in their product if they have to cheat a consumer into paying for something they no longer want..Version: 7.3.4

Easy and funAt first I tried my fitness pal but didn’t enjoy working with it. This app is more user friendly. I look forward to the daily tips and analysis of my food choices. I can record my own recipes to get a pretty accurate analysis. Love it !.Version: 9.3.1

Needs a much larger food database!I was using MyFitnessPal for years and thought I’d try this because I don’t want to just know the calories, but also want to know the quality of the food that matches my goals. This seemed like the perfect fit at first. As I have been using it (in USA) I have found the food database to be woefully lacking. It has nothing to do with barcodes or barcode reader, the foods aren’t in the database. Some very common foods from any chain restaurant are missing. I have to add almost EVERY item manually. That’s a non-starter after having used MyFitnessPal and never having this issue. Like other comments, everything seems to be listed as a 1 ounce serving size. Not very helpful when dealing with grapes, avocados, etc. The app has great potential, but too labor intensive to get the information into the app. I’ll keep looking for an app like MyFitnessPal that has the food quality ratings like this one if it exists..Version: 4.8.4

Tough to use in the ukThis app would be fantastic, but I live in the uk and I’m finding it very frustrating inputting food. I can see a year ago you said it was falling down in this area due to a bug, but the basics from a the major supermarkets are just not there, and the barcodes don’t work either. I’ll keep using for now, but if it doesn’t improve and keep up with my fitness pal I will give up..Version: 5.7.1

Can’t log food?I’ve used this app for two days now. Testing it out to see if I wanted to upgrade to pro. I’m not exactly sure where it derives the recommended calories a day from but ok. I’ll roll with it. It is nice because it easily syncs with my Apple Watch through Health and knows how many calories I’ve burned from workouts and walking. But the counting calories feature is less than ideal. I drank a tea beer tonight and tried to add it. I put in the caloric information on the can, and it gave me an error message saying the fats, carbs and proteins didn’t add up to the caloric amount but I entered exactly what’s on the can! I don’t claim to be an expert in this stuff but it seems like you’re expected to be to use this app. I guess I’ll be trying a new app tomorrow. I’m glad I didn’t buy the pro version!.Version: 6.4.5

Sorry…..I’m so sorry, but this app is not for me. I’m already going to get some help to track, and why use a subscription anyways? I know your trying to help, and in that case I appreciate you guys trying. 🥲.Version: 8.11.0

Not intuitive & much missingI found adding foods fiddly - food searches were so generic and it wasn’t always easy to change units. One food wouldn’t offer teaspoons, I think it was single cream. The overall layout doesn’t appeal but these things are subjective. I went back to mynetdiary which I’d forgotten, much nicer interface, track everything easily (including exercise). I’m glad it works for others but if an app is fiddly I lose patience & if it’s not a pleasing interface I lose interest..Version: 8.15.1

Certain things seems to be incorrectThere are some things which show wrong nutritional value. Use this app often but can’t always trust it on giving the right information..Version: 7.8.9

Great idea but not advanced enoughSigned up for a pro account as it’s reasonably priced and offers a lot of features. However, the challenges can only be selected one at a time, so yes I want to stop drinking alcohol for 30 days but also while doing something else, but all options have now disappeared. I’m really disappointed with the menu options in the offering, I have a rotation for the week of just four dishes, many days I am advised to eat the same for lunch and dinner! This is terrible. I’ve looked ahead and guess what, next week it’s the same four dishes again all week. It’s not worth a penny, wouldn’t advise anyone to sign up for pro at this stage. They need more work..Version: 6.4.5

Don’t use this app If you’re living in AustraliaDon’t use this app if you’re living in Australia. I tried all of them, Easy Diet Diary is 100 times better than this horrible app. 1- User interface is terrible - hard to navigate things 2- you can never find the product you’re looking for or you find dozens of different entries for the same product that has completely different Kcal 3- it’s torture to add the same meal you had a few days ago. It’s almost impossible to find the meal you had a week ago. Recent eaten food section only shows the most recent ones 4- dashboard is only showing remaining, eaten and burned Kcal 5- you have to pay tons of money to get useful statistics 6- overall I wasted countless hours to add the meal I’m eating manually Don’t waste your time or money with this app..Version: 7.1.0

Nice app but not quite what I am looking forI am on a keto diet and it doesn’t consider net carbs which is a big deal. Entering food into this app can be very annoying. The spinners will rest the row over if you don’t make sections in just the right order. The conversions for different measurements are often completely in accurate. For example 2 oz of something instead of a table spoon can result in wildly different numbers of calories and carbs. There are also a lot of bad and inaccurate items in the library so you are better off just entering all your own custom nutritional info. The default is for all entries to be public- I think it should be the other way around since they vary so much. I paid $30 for the app am going to keep looking for a better one..Version: 6.4.6

Many Issues with their appsMy main issue with this app is the fact that the Apple Watch app is broken. I'm all signed in and set up on my phone, but that won't sync to the Apple Watch. So when I open the app on Apple Watch, i'm only given the options to either log in (which is broken as well, nothing happens when you tap it), or you can sign up which I have already done. Also, the app restarts every time you leave it and go to another app. I don't know if it's a memory leak issue or what, but Yazio is being kicked from recent apps memory every time I close it on my 11 Pro Max. Lastly, I would have loved to message someone at the company about all this, but that's not something they offer. I was not able to find any contact info within the app, or under the help & faq section..Version: 6.1.0

Used to be goodThis app used to be a fantastic app. I've been using it for years but with the increased number of ads and non-stop promotion of the premium features, it's no longer useful for a quick tracking of daily calorie intake. It's been crashing a lot more too..Version: 10.1.0

It’s okIt looks great I love the feel of it but it’s so irritating trying to make you upgrade to pro, the absolutely relentless adverts get so frustrating, it’s actually enough to make me want to stop using the app all together. Massive overkill pushing for sales on the pro version. I’ve been using it for a month and I’d say there are better apps which will give you things for free that they charge you for..Version: 4.10.4

To priceyNot worth the money. To get premium you have to spend 20!!! DOLARS.Version: 9.9.2

Buggin meDay 1 and app keeps buggin for a review.Version: 4.6.1

Limited ability as a food diary.I don’t mind so much having to manually enter everything since none of the brands I use are listed. But when trying to add foods if you make a mistake it can throw your whole days journal as you can’t delete items once added to your days log nor can you modify your mistake on that food item. Meaning you have to start process all over. But why bother since your day is already inaccurate and you can’t fix it. It’s a joke. Almost worth putting my Fitbit back on as every app for Apple Watch is as useless as this. Hint less trash on UI and maybe some sort of thought in design layout for quick overview would probably help motivate people..Version: 5.5.5

App is cleaner than MyFitnessPal but too many stuff behind paywallApp is lot cleaner than MFP. But I found couple of issues that made me uninstall this app and go back to MFP - Fasting tracker is wonky. I started the fast yesterday selecting 16:8, normally other fasting trackers keeps the tracker running till we stop it. I was not sure if i would be able to fast longer than 16 hours but i was able to reach 19 hours and checked the tracker to stop it to realize that tracker has stopped itself after reaching 16hours. And it started my eating time few hours back. There was no way to go back and edit the fast to indicate i am still in fasting zone. - Once you add your meals, I was not able to find my added meals to check them at the end of the day. It was like my data was lost already. I believe it was behind the paid wall but there is no way to verify that MFP has few stuff behind paywall but these basic functionality to see the entered food should be there, nutrients are something that should be behind the paywall. But what if I entered wrong data. How can I delete it? If there is a way to get the entered data then it’s a case a bad ux/ui. App has lots of potential but for now I can’t be a user..Version: 8.3.2

Good but not worth the moneyI don’t write reviews but, it is a waste of money if buy the Pro version. It’s a hard to use My fitness pal app really. Not a huge market for food. I had to add simple stuff like eggs. I regret spending money on the app but that’s all I can do. I ask for a refund but they don’t process it cause it’s an app based sell. I would have to contact apple to get my money back. Do your research before buying the pro version..Version: 7.1.9

Macros don’t match the labelGreat user interface, much nicer than the concurrency. But many of the food on their database have wrong information that don’t match the label (even the ones with blue checkmark) and there’s no way to change it or to at least report the mismatch. Contacting support is useless, they take long to answer and keep asking useless questions to avoid the issue.Version: 9.9.2

Food log is a painPlease just remove scan barcode function… it doesn’t recognize anything. I regret spend money on the subscription because it’s just too much work log food. but oh well… The only good thing I love this app and probably will continue use it is the intermittent fasting function, it tracks time for you and show which stage you are at when fasting. Please just do better work. I have to use MyFitnessPal to log food and YAZIO to track other things..Version: 7.7.2

Too many adsDecent app that supports a lot of features but the ads pop up way too much.Version: 7.7.1

Almost thereThe app works well enough, my only gripes are that it can become glitchy and unresponsive at times, causing me to quit the app and start again, and the measurements are often infuriating.. for example if you were cooking fish fingers you would expect the data entry to allow you to count said fish fingers! But invariably it requires you to weigh them.. Can of beans? Most people have all or half a can.. nope! Gotta weigh them. Now I understand that it’s more accurate and some people don’t mind this, but if like me you struggle to track your calorie intake at the best of times, monotonous weighing encourages me to skip tracking altogether. Lastly some not all of my frequently used entries do not appear in the list, I have to search again and again for something I ate yesterday, and in fact have eaten all week.. Plenty of potential that needs a little polish..Version: 7.7.2

Fitness data is not accurateNew user here, the App definitely make your more mindful and accountable to you actions. I would love for it to show accurate data from your smart watch, the other day I did 15,000 and it showed 7,000. And I have had similar results on multiple days. I have restarted my app and fitness tracker. Any chance of fixing this in the next update?.Version: 9.8.2

Free App is not the bestI find creating new foods to be difficult when entering portion sizes. Sometimes I get the correct portion size in there and sometimes it just shows 1 oz for the portion size with the nutritional value for a true portion, ie 3 oz. A lot of other people seem to have the same problem. Sometimes there are several entries for the same food with very different calorie counts. And why isn’t the default weight grams, as that is the measurement on many packages of food. Why can’t I use grams and fluid oz. instead of grams and ml? Also, I don’t think you can copy foods to different days without paying for the app. I get frustrated going in and searching for foods and then trying to figure out which is the correct one. The reason I use this app is to track my husband’s nutrition and calories. The one I use for myself is much more user friendly and flexible..Version: 5.10.0

Too Hard for CaloriesI have subscribed for a year but already find the app way too cumbersome to record calories. For example, if I have mayo I need the option to have measurements in tsp and tbsp not just grams. Same with porridge, having the option to add a cup for all types of porridge. It’s inconsistent, some types of a food will allow a cup measurement but not others. There are much better options for Australian calorie counters. I have gone back to easy diet diary, not as glitzy but much more user friendly..Version: 5.5.1

Other apps do this for free.I only installed this for the fasting tracker, but that’s a premium feature you have to subscribe to and pay for. There are other fasting tracking apps that provide this for free. It would have been great to have this as a free trial to see how it compares, but you have to commit to a year and go pro before even trying it out. I know any form of weight loss takes commitment, but when you have multiple apps to choose from, why bother paying for one just to test it out? Uninstalled, sorry..Version: 5.9.2

Another money grabbing app. Go elsewhere.Have been using this for a while, and had already paid extra for the “Pro” version. Now, the developers have recently added advertising into the app, and have hidden previously free features behind a paywall. I’m now being asked, to yet again pay more to get a “Pro” version of the app, to get access to pre-existing features and to remove the advertising. Too bad apparently that I’m already a “Pro user” - previous users seem to have been screwed-over and have wasted the money that they’ve already paid. There are other more ethical apps out there that do the same thing, try them first. Later edit - Developers seem entirely uninterested in responding. As mentioned above - there are better apps around, try them first..Version: 7.7.2

Notifications can’t be tailored to youSo annoying that you can’t pick ehat notifications you receive. You can eother have meal notifications on or off, amd if you have them on it will send you 4 separate notifications to remind you to enter breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I don’t eat breakfast so don’t want a reminder to enter it, and I don’t always have snacks in the day. Please change this so you can have notifications for the meals you want!.Version: 5.7.1

Worst....App....EveeeerrrYou would think having a barcode scanner would mean that we could get nutritional info easily into the app however only close to the 25 products I have scanned I get nothing..Version: 6.4.6

:(This is the app that worsened my anorexia :( wouldnt reccomend.Version: 7.4.2

FraudIt is not free. Total fraud.Version: 9.0.4

Bad calculationsThe good: interface, doesn’t push fad diets (but supports them, you Keto people), nice recipes section. The neutral: pro version cost, database needs work (but works well enough, and doesn’t play games with serving sizes so far) The bad: calorie calculation for goals. Oof, this one is a big one. If you’re the kind of person who has success with straight calorie tracking as opposed to food category restriction (which is just a convoluted way to get to calorie restriction), then you should be familiar with BMR calculations. My BMR is about 2500 Calories when sedentary, and and activity beyond that raises my caloric needs. This app adds movement Calories from Apple Watch, Fitbit etc. That’s great! But... they add movement Calories into your baseline! What does this mean? If I want to lose 1lb a week, I should be eating 2000 Calories plus more for movement. But this app starts me at 2500 and THEN adds my movement Calories. So if so burn 500 on average, this app says I should eat 3000... or 3500 if I want to maintain weight. You can set caloric goals manually, but if you’re going to try counting calories with this app, you’re going to maintain or gain weight, not lose. This app isn’t the only one to do this, but given how good the interface is for straight calorie counters... it’s just frustrating. So just don’t rely on their Calorie goal calculator, do a BMR calculation online and remember 500C/day is 1lb/week, then go from there..Version: 6.1.0

Not as EfficientVery difficult to utilise. The food scanner don’t recognise the labels on more than 90% of the products I’ve scaned so it’s not very easy to use. Also this app does not offer an alternative way to add in Water Fasting (for spiritual means) and health benefits, which is ridiculous. It only has pre determined fasting but those would give inaccurate results so another star lost. It also only allows you to track one bad habits at a time which is why I have given it 1 stars. Honestly I’m sorry I wasted money on this app. I will not be renewing my subscription or recommending it to anyone else. I have to use another app to get the portions right and then manually put them in here, and that is just a waste of time..Version: 10.5.0

Why does the keyboard not have option to change language?I use the app on both iPad 2018 and iPhone SE. it works fine on the iPad but on the phone somehow the keyboard does not have the button to change language (I'm bilingual). I have tried restarting the phone, switching to other app (the keyboard works fine on other apps) and I'm running out of options to try. I don't carry my iPad all day so would be really nice if someone can tell me how to change language on the phone. The keyboard Yazio on iPhone pulls is always the non-English one, if it was the other way around I wouldn't mind so much..Version: 5.8.1

Recent update was a downgradeI originally chose this app a year ago (out of the many out there) because it was crisp and clean and easy to enter meals (and re-enter common meals). The recent update took all that away. Now it’s clunky, forcing me to click on separate meals to enter food instead of the simple scroll we had before. It shows silly icons for meals if you dont take photos of your food or use their recipes. Too many clicks to do simple things. Please just be a food tracker. For once. And please please give me an option of seeing all my meals with a scroll instead of clicking through them one by one in these new boxes. And please don’t make me re-enter the search term when I switch from all foods to favourites or meals. Will be switching away to one if the other trackers of this app stays the way it is..Version: 6.2.0

I like this app... however....I’ve been using this app for about 2-3 weeks now and have joined on an annual subscription but what I’m finding more and more frustrating is that when I create my own foods, I am unable to edit it - if I’ve made a mistake, I have to start all over again! Additionally, being unable to delete foods is making my list longer with multiple of the same entries. I realise that these features are available for personal entries and not public but I want these foods to be available to others. I am Australian and many of our foods and brands are not in the database. Another thing is to include mg for sodium, as it’s currently only in g and I have to do the conversion myself. Also, as a suggestion, with the serving names (ie. tsp, cup, package, etc), it would be nice if we could add names that aren’t available. With the water tracker, it would be good if you can quickly add different measurements without having to go into the settings to change it. Perhaps be able to select more than one measurement in the setting and then have those appear in a dropdown list when you tap the picture of the glass..Version: 5.2.6

Nice UI but serving sizes aren’t convenientMost of the entries have calories per 100g, rather than more useful units like per piece, container, etc. i end up having to do a lot of math just to figure out what to enter.Version: 6.1.2

AllergiesIt would be great if we could select specific foods we are allergic to or do want to eat as part of the meal plans - I literally can’t eat anything suggested to me it’s very annoying!.Version: 7.3.1

So close...I was gagging for a proper MyFitnessPal replacement - that app is old, slow and a nightmare to use. Plus it also doesn’t give me a good clear and consistent indication on where I am with my weight loss goal. YAZIO completely solves that: it’s sexy, slick, modern looking, really snappy and gives me a good clear progress indication. However... the one thing that needed to also do: food tracking, is so much worse, to the point of being pointless. I really wanted to give this a go, but I can’t even find normal stuff from Sainsbury’s (just searched for a morning roll, there was nothing!). Tried scanning some of my past packets there, e.g., Sainsbury’s fusilli pasta, nothing. I mean... this was and is the strength of MyFitnessPal, it gives you access to this huge database of items and their nutritional values... I think I could be bothered to enter those manually if YAZIO was completely free - yes, it really is that good - but given you need Pro to access loads of important features, then I can’t see how after paying for a pro subscription they expect me to manually enter almost all of my food items, and have a much smaller food item database. Such a shame... I really wanted this one to work. Back to MyFitnessPal... :-(.Version: 4.8.6

Data is wrong 90% of the time, Clunky UI, deletes goalsThis app is so bad. First of all, the vast majority of verified entries in their database are just flat out wrong. So when I track something, I first figure out how many calories it should be based on the label, then I go in and set the number of grams such that the calories match. It would be easier to just enter calories manually, with the exception that then I have that portion size saved for next time. The UI is clunky and has way too many steps. It isn’t even remotely intuitive or based on common patterns for user interaction. Finally, the goals are garbage in any app like this, but I manually entered my own and distributed things based on my own goals, and then I stopped tracking for a single week and when I came back, it gave me a “fresh start” experience and forced me to overwrite my manually entered goals with their automatic ones. My goal is in a year. I’m still basically on track. I don’t want my data deleted but there’s no option to say “No thanks” and just keep tracking. That’s the final straw and I’m done with this app. Tracking on pen and paper would be more reliable and quicker..Version: 9.9.0

Still not adding up....I enjoy the look of the app and the options it has, unfortunately despite working with YAZIO support team, they don’t seem to understand as a whole the science of burning calories. Your body burns calories all day not just during an active state. But YAZIO only tracks and displays the active calories burned. So if you walked 10 miles in a day, without your heart rate reaching an “active state” they WILL NOT COUNT IT. Which of course left me with a LOT of calories burned that weren’t counting on the app so after logging my meals for the day it would turn red and say I’ve eaten over my goal, when in fact I had been eating at too high of a deficit. This is dangerous to eat at too high of a deficit and therefore I find the tracking hazardous. You read that right. You will put your health at risk if you trust this apps calculations. I use a Garmin Venu which displays my active and inactive calories burned. Many other health trackers show this as well. Proceed with caution using this app. Best regards, a PRO user..Version: 7.1.12

No way to log foodI don’t have pro and don’t intend to get it so I don’t know if I need pro to log my food intake. Whenever I go to log food it just has the pro symbol above it. The most the app dose is help with water intake and fasting..Version: 10.6.0

Does not stand out of the crowdHave tried this app for a while to see if it is better than the one I am currently using. Here are some observations: * despite claiming to be Australian, the app default to kilocalories (which it calls calories) and misspells litres as ‘liters’ * it is possible to switch to Australian standard unit of kJ, however that appears to be bolted on as an afterthought. Many sections of the app still display calories. * very few Australian food items available in the database * it is not possible to use this app without first creating account and providing your email. Your data (including the one it accesses from Apple health app) is not stored on your phone. No detail on how the data is protected, and it’s worth remembering that every single company that had major data breach in the last few years have claimed it stores your data securely. * the app itself is a web site masquerading as as iOS app. The user interface feels foreign for iOS, essentially feels like any generic web app running in browser. Not a great user experience. * upgrade to ‘pro’ version, which is a subscription and not an outright purchase, is required to do anything useful All in all, like other reviewers, I am sticking to my current US made app which is more Australian friendly until and true Australia-centric app comes along..Version: 5.2.6

You login your details then it asks for payment. That’s annoying..Version: 7.9.1

Not what I’m looking forI went ahead and paid for a year to try it out bc in case I loved it, that wasn’t a huge investment. I’m not upset I did - hopefully the developers will take my money and improve it to woo me back. It’s very pretty, but: I don’t like the horoscope - screams of unhealthy diet mentality. Can’t schedule meal reminders. Can’t edit meal types (one “snacks” section?). Can’t record more than 2 food preferences (high protein, gluten free, sugar free, etc). I couldn’t seem to select a diet outside of what was suggested in my survey, but even if I could, they seem rigid without customization options. The baseline calories I was assigned to eat was much higher than every other app I’ve tried (by 500+ calories) and then even more so when I exercise. But also the kCal value of the food seemed higher, so maybe it’s consistently equivalent? All that said, these are very specific complaints. The food selector seems easy to use and I love the mood “how I feel today” section. This app has a lot of promise and if you’re not looking for/concerned about the specifics I’ve mentioned, then try it out. It really is pretty and easy to use - which matters if you’re spending so much time with it..Version: 6.4.6

No trial option. Let me pay via App StoreFrom using YAZIO so far it appears to have a much better interface, easier to navigate, tons of recipes and recommendations which is exactly what I was looking for, however, unlike other platforms there doesn’t appear to be trial option for the Pro version. I also don’t like the fact I’m asked to subscribe outside of the App Store and directly on the website to obtain the welcome discount offer. I prefer to keep all app payments without my App Store account for easier management. A real shame as at first glance I could see YAZIO replacing my current subscription :(.Version: 5.2.3

CrappyReally crappy app, I thought I would be able to use this but you have to pay money to access half the stuff! Would NOT recommend.Version: 3.4.65

HORRIBLEThe fact you can’t try the full app without paying first is a testament to the company knowing the app sucks. If they were confident it was a good app they would offer a free trial. Also, even with the free version, it was garbage. The calorie vs food and amount is incorrect. I inputted a food and it offered the amount and calories and it was not what was on the box so not sure where they got the information from. Super duper glad I didn’t pay for a year..Version: 9.3.0

Extensive, but confusing and poor supportThe good: it’s fairly extensive in regards to information and nutrient break-out. For many processed foods, it offers a simple barcode scanner to import nutrition info. The bad: too many options for a single item. Look up something like ‘egg’ and you get so many options, including distinctions like brand. The nutritional info is different among the options as well. Also, you may find several choices for the same frozen dinner - with different values, apparently based on whatever users submit. Navigating the myriad of options is very frustrating. As for support - I used the app for a few weeks before deciding to purchase the pro version. I used the pro features for a few weeks when suddenly all of my info was gone. Support took almost a week to respond and told me that because I didn’t register when I first downloaded the app, my purchase ended up wiping everything out. They did not address the fact I had been using the app for a few weeks under my pro subscription. So now I have to start all over - and, of course, give them all my information to track me with and/or sell to marketers. I’ll use it for now, but will be looking for something with more accurate nutritional info and fewer than a dozen options to say ‘I ate an egg.’.Version: 7.0.5
