Disappointing Trial Experience: Subscription CancelledI signed up for the free month’s trial, but all I received were sample songs. I tried logging out and logging back in, and even redeemed my purchases, but without success. I contacted their help desk 12 hours ago and have not received a reply. Therefore, I’ve cancelled my subscription. It was unsatisfactory..Version: 7.8.1

QobuzI have had this app about a year & made about half a dozen purchases as a way of dipping a toe into the world of HD downloads. All worked perfectly until 15th. December when all my purchases were wiped from my iPhone. App now says there are no purchases associated with my account! Luckily they are still on my iMac & Imported into iTunes. I have complained to Qobuz support, but to date there has been no response, hence the 2 stars for poor customer service..Version: 5.1.1

Big pros, big consI’m only writing this to hopefully help the developers out, because I think they’re on to something. I’ve recently been testing a ton of music streaming apps. All of the big names. This one, has some huge pros and also some huge cons. First, out of all of the streaming services I tested, I liked the sound quality of this one best. Actually by a lot. I played everything from Tool to NF and everything just seemed to sound better than any of the other services. However…. Out of all of the music streaming services I’ve tested, this one is the buggiest. Just within 3 days of testing, I had multiple songs just refuse to play, some songs would studder in the middle, and then forward to the next song. I ran into this type of thing quite often, whether using WiFi or over a strong cellular signal. It’s for this reason that I cannot use Qobuz at this time. Just too many issues with playback. Also, there are no lyrics, if you’re into that kind of thing. Sound quality is so good that it’s ALMOST worth overlooking the other issues… but not quite. I’ll check back in 6 months or so and see if anything has been fixed..Version: 6.5.1

The Help function doesn’t workI paid for an extra family member to join but having taken my money, he can’t use the service because of an error at Qobuz which sees him as being in a different country (he isn’t) and so I discover that the Help function in the app offers no means of help beyond a FAQ. There’s no way to contact them at all. None. No email address, no chat box, no phone number. Nothing. I have to conclude that they are out of their depth. Avoid..Version: 6.11.0

Terrible Hi-res ExperienceThis application encounters so many errors when streaming hi-res both on my iDevice as well as my PC. I've complained to Qobuz directly, and they give me the run around to other products like Audirvana without acknowledging the serious faults with their hi-res streaming capability. I am definitely considering one of the other hi-res services because Qobuz on my iProducts and the Qobuz PC application have just been terrible and leaving me in fear every time I do anything on my iDevice that my action will trigger Qobuz hi-res streaming to malfunction rather than continue seamlessly in the background as it should and as I expect as a paying customer. I have found that streaming via a VPN versus direct connection from my home IP greatly reduced the likelihood that hi-res streaming malfunctioned, but then there are still significant errors with the application otherwise. I will say that CD quality is solid - I have not encountered any issues with CD quality. Fix your lackluster hi-res streaming experience and your pretty but buggy applications, Qobuz. For the sake of Christ, don't tell me to buy some other product to use your product..Version: 5.21.0

Where are the pre-curated Playlists and Stations?I really like Qobuz’s CD-audio quality, because I believe I can actually hear the difference. (That’s why I switched from Apple Music.). And I love that it’s already integrated with my beloved Sonos. But Qobuz is simply not ready for Prime Time when it comes to pre-curated “playlists” for various artists, genres, musical moods and themes, etc. (Apple Music does *really* well at this). Yes, I can build my own playlists, but I don’t want to, and shouldn’t have to spend the time doing so. Same for music “stations”, a la Pandora and others. Especially when those stations “learn” your true preferences with those handy thumbs up / thumbs down buttons. For me, it’s a huge downer that all I can really do with Qobuz is play individual albums and songs, and only if I’m already aware of them, and then search them out specifically by name. They sound great, but I want to pick a playlist or station, and just let the tunes roll for hours at a time. Apparently not happening on Qobuz..Version: 5.3.2 (Hotfix)

Two words: Playlist ManagementI like the sound quality on the songs that are actually available, but playlist management is a nightmare. Scrolling through playlists causes the app to lag and freeze, and if I start one playlist and want to switch to another one, I have to completely shut down and restart the app, sometimes multiple times. In summary, it needs a much larger selection and a substantially better playlist management experience to be worth the price..Version: 7.0.0

The app needs work.I’ve been using Qobuz for a long time but the app is infuriating, as is the customer support. Sure it’s the best quality streaming, but that’s not an excuse to take your foot off the gas. The algorithms are rubbish. When you compare them to the likes of roon, they are sub par. The layout and functionality of the app needs work and it seems like development of the app is stagnant and not evolving as it should. Could be better..Version: 7.2.0

Downloading music is a technical mess lately…I have been buying Hi-Res music from Qobuz from the beginning, even before they were acquired by Xandrie. Their services were always somewhat buggy, but the Windows downloader worked just fine. Lately things have changed for the worst: I always purchase my songs in the maximum available resolution but I have noticed that when I download those files on the iOS app sometimes the resolution I purchased is not available for download. Another issue is that there are so many glitches with their recently revamped downloader for Windows that downloading a couple albums took me a whole day. Basically downloads start, then errors for some tracks appear and basically you are stuck. Another very annoying thing is that now all downloads are in FLAC format, and if you choose WAV the FLAC file is installed in a temporary folder (labelled "original") and then gets converted to WAV. This process is extremely slow on a laptop. Honestly, I like Qobuz, I have over 2000 tracks that I purchased from them, but I will not be buying anymore from them until they solve these issues. I have zero interest in streaming, I buy songs to download them, and they seem to be focusing mostly on streaming lately….Version: 7.4.0

Good. Could be fasterApp is quite noticeably slower that others I’ve used including Tidal & Spotify. Please try to improve this. Thank you.Version: 6.0.0

Quality’s Great, Questionable AppsI’ve tried a few lossless/ hifi streaming services and this sounds the best out of any of them. With that said, the apps Qobuz operates are absolutely awful. The UI isn’t great, but it isn’t unusable. Love that it even has a CarPlay app. But it will CONSTANTLY switch from what I’m playing(it won’t hit the end of an artist/ album/ etc) to some awful random music from the collection it constantly pushes. I cannot figure out for the life of me why it does this, will do it listening to an artist page, album, my own likes, etc..Version: 6.7.0

Annoying bugEvery time I bring up the app after minimizing it, it displays the history page. It should remain where it was when I minimized it. I’m tired of swiping every time I return to the app. Please fix this. UPDATE: As of January 10, 2022, after updating the app, this issue persists. I am SO tired of this. Even though I always display the “Listening” page when playing, every single time I minimize and then bring the app back up, it has reverted to the “History” page. Why, for the love of God, can this app not stay the way I left it when I minimized it? FIX THIS, QOBUZ. If I minimize the app on the “Listening” page, it should STILL BE on the “Listening” page when I bring the app back up! Why is this so hard for you? FIX IT!! I promise to raise my rating when you do..Version: 6.5.1

Qobuz regards money higher than customersI called them 3 hours after they charged my cc for a full year of service. I stated that I do not need the service, but they threw in my face the terms policy, and said no refund is possible, although I did not use the service even one second. Clearly the customers mean less to them than grabbing the yearly fee once, as I’ll never be their customer after this experience. Think if you want to reward such a company with your membership, when to them anything they can grab from you is more important than your satisfaction. Trust me, there are services with superior offer and more care for customers..Version: 6.5.1

Favorites shuffle, please...I enjoy the service, however I have a problem with the app. I try to use it at work, but I don’t have time to continually mess with it, and change songs. My favorites are clearly listed, and I have the option of listening to them alphabetically by song, artist, or album. That’s a terrible way to have music playing in my office all day. I would like to see a shuffle all favorites selection that will randomly select from every song/album that I have favorited. Every other service does this. At home I have Roon software, which integrates beautifully with Qobuz, and mixes my locally stored music with Qobuz favorites seamlessly. It’s a perfect setup for me. Unless I am watching tv or a movie, there is never a time when music isn’t playing..Version: 5.12.0

Great music quality with bugs and missing featuresWonderful to have music at this high quality. Selection is good. Lately the app is very slow to respond. Very, very slow. Especially when you try to bring up the offline library. Also there’s a major feature missing that others have mentioned: when you select an album as a favorite, you want the songs in that album to show up as favorite tracks, so that you can shuffle through all the tracks from albums you’ve favorited. That can’t happen. Seems like an easy fix but it doesn’t seem to have been implemented yet. P. S. I am surprised that when people submit feedback here, the developer response asks you to go submit it somewhere else. It would be a lot easier for Qobuz to copy and paste these comments for their own use, assuming they’d want to improve their app to retain users, than to require every single person to go elsewhere to submit the feature request, especially when you can’t copy/paste the URL they indicate..Version: 5.20.0

Needs a lot of workSound quality is better than Tidal by a touch, but Tidal has far and away a less buggy system and a better algorithm for suggesting music. Tidal was able to predict some out of the norm suggestions for me and led me to discover new genres and music. Tidal never dropped off. I find Qobuz often needs me to press play for each song on a playlist, even its own weekly suggestion playlist. This is on a Sony wf-1000 xm4s. Chrome cast Ultra also often drops out. I accept there’s going to be delays and slowness downloading songs as it’s completely lossless, but the buginess will send me back to Tidal as it affects good flow when working walking or just relaxing. Defeating the entire purpose of listening to music to begin with..Version: 6.4.1

Charging my card but can’t use the appWhen I first download in Qobuz, I loved it it worked great, and sounded even better but at some point I don’t know why my app logged me out and I tried to log back in, but it kept saying that I was no longer a subscribed member I checked my Apple account and my subscription was good. I tried to reach out to Qobuz, but there is no way for me to contact them. It only says they are unavailable at the moment so I tried to re-download the app. Read log back in restore purchases, and none of that has brought back my subscription. They just rebuild my account today so they are getting money and I am not getting the it is unfortunate that such a good streaming platform does not have a tech line or somebody I can contact about this I did not want to leave a bad review since I liked the app but I have no choice.Version: 7.0.0

Room for improvementQobuz is the only hi-res streaming service out there and it has undeniably changed for the better in recent years, and navigating the app is much faster than on some of its Swedish competitors. However, there are still some annoying bugs and questionable functional/ergonomical choices that need to be adressed. when network connection is lost, playback stutters and the app comes back to the home screen, even if I am browsing e.g. the settings menu. If switching from cellular to wi-fi or the opposite, or when switching between wi-fi networks, Qobuz loses the connection seemingly forever and the only way to play any music again is to manually exit and restart the app. This doesn’t work for commuters constantly switching between public wi-fi and 3-4G. Audio output selection button is designed like a share button. Audio output selection doesn’t let you switch between bluetooth and internal phone speaker or jack. No equalizer. ‘Offline library’ should only show tracks synched for offline playing. Instead it shows tracks not yet in cache, as well as tracks temporarily in cache because they were played recently. On the iPhone, playing Qobuz over Bluetooth results in either MP3 or ALAC recompressed into the very lossy SBC format being pumped into the headphones. Having the option of AAC would greatly improve sound quality, which I thought was Qobuz’s key selling point..Version: 4.0.7

Canada???When will it be available to Canada???.Version: 5.6.0.1

Playlists broken when you import musicThere is a magic number, it’s 30. The top 30 tracks will be the only ones you can view in a playlist that has more than 30 tracks after you import any track in that playlist. I tested this in multiple playlists that have more than 30 tracks and all experienced the same issue. This makes listening to playlists in my car a very disappointing experience. This bug has been present for months and hasn’t been resolved. Version 7.3.3 which states it fixed major bugs with this playlist management has not resolved the issue I am experiencing. :(.Version: 7.3.3

Great sound woeful appThis has to be one of the most unreliable apps I’ve encountered in the last few years. Works fine through Roon but otherwise it’s easier to just use Spotify..Version: 6.4.1

Music is great, the app is horribleThe app needs a ton of work. Very poor performance on an iPhone Pro Max 13 and iPad Pro M2. Very slow to switch menus and glitchy. The music quality though is superb and I purchased a Sublime subscription due to that and its great integration with Roon. But I really hope the app gets a complete revamp, as its barely useable and very frustrating to use. Please create a new app, if Qobuz would do this, it would be by far the best music streaming service available!.Version: 7.3.4

NagwareI have a paid subscription. Why am I being nagged to upgrade to a higher tier on every screen?.Version: 6.6.0

Pure audio but lacking albums.Fact: A noticeable clarity over Tidal. Very pure. Fact : I looked up my favourite 80s stuff as I do with trials but too many albums omitted. Trial cancelled, app now removed. Fact : easy to cancel / join with apple subscription. Fact : don’t hide your ip if joining on internet, your location in your account won’t match up later & its embedded within their servers back end. You’ll have to cancel your bank card . Be smart..Version: 6.11.0

Love the high-res (not so much the app itself)First, having the app play high-res music is fantastic. And I love the Qobuz catalog, playlists and recommendations. Second, I find the app somewhat unreliable, but especially with CarPlay (iPhone X on a Volvo plugged in via USB) The app behaves oddly often. Sometimes on the car I have to pull over just to restart the thing. Other times (not while driving) I cannot get to the “currently playing” screen, so I have to restart the app as well. Other times I am not able to play a song when in fact it was working well the first time (deleting the song and downloading it again works). I still recommend Qobuz if you like high-res, but don’t expect the same reliability or user experience as other apps you might be used to. One thing I’d love to see is a confirmation of the audio quality I am actually listening to (as opposed to only the availability of a recording in high-res vs cd quality)..Version: 6.4.1

Great sound quality. Rubbish app. Can’t fault the sound quality of the service but wow, the app is complete garbage. Full of bugs. Terrible UI. CarPlay is a waste of time. Not worth the money. After two months I’m out..Version: 7.1.1

Service is appallingI have been using qobuz for over a year now. I could over look the sluggish interface and the offline music needing an internet connection because i felt the sound was superior to most streaming services. Up until recently their customer service was slow but got me through ( also contact is only facebook or instagram ). But i have just paid for a month through my apple account. The app says I'm not subscribed, when i click on subscribe, it says im subscribed. After quite a wait for a reply through fb messenger they tell me to cancel my paid for subscription and to sign up on their web page. Some how thinking the trail month they offer is the same thing as me getting a service i paid for. After reading all the negative feedback on trust pilot, i wont be giving them any card or bank details. Unfortunate.Version: 6.4.0

Could be greatSound quality is fantastic. UI is pretty good and simple. But the huge drawback is that it's not compatible with siri, which makes this useless for driving and or being hands free..Version: 7.6.0

Best sound, reviews but worst appI love everything about Qobuz except how buggy this app looks and behaves. Terrible refresh rates, forever loading times and spinning wheels. Seriously, talk to your product team and set some priorities! Will check in again in another 6 months..Version: 6.8.0

Can be improved.Whenever I try to use it in the car (Jeep), the infotainment system and the Qobuz app won’t work together most of the time while I have no issue with the iTunes app. Sadly no hires streaming in Australia. Best is cd quality. I love Qobuz for their choses in music, less Comercial than iTunes. I discover more good music through this app. Interesting playlists and hifi equipment articles built in. Content and concept is great. Please improve the app stability and compatibility CarPlay integration would be a must and really necessary to enjoy the app when you have the most time : While driving..Version: 4.0.23

Downloading music is the worst experience everI’m really sorry but you need to fix this issue. I just tested my internet speed and got a result of 483MB/s and then I went to download some music for offline playing. I am currently downloading music with less than 2MB/s. Another annoying thing is that there is no background downloading so if you want to download a large playlist get ready for a horrible experience. Please fix this issues. Thank you..Version: 6.7.0

Buggy app, no support, laggy load/playback no refundsI been with Qubuz for a while 1-2 years but moved to Apple Music recently. Why? I would rate their lossless music quality the best but other reasons meant I had to move. Buggy app and slow app fixes, no real way to contact support locally. There was a bug where for a day I couldn’t add tracks to my playlists. I tried to contact their support team to raise a ticket to my surprise there was no real way for me to raise a ticket to request support. Tracks in Australia are extremely slow to load/play even when lowering the quality makes no difference. In Australia I suspect they have no real local servers for the slowness. I have fast internet and mobile connectivity and other music streaming services don’t have this lag in load/playback. It makes discovering ’new music’ extremely frustrating and slow. The app is so very poorly designed, extremely slow and buggy. I don’t think is a native Apple app, constantly see the Qubuz hourglass. It they updated and fixed their app regularly it wouldn’t be a issue. But they very slow on addressing bugs. You have to have the app open for download tracks to completely download. Poor algorithm to autoplay and seem to go off your age than on your past track selection or likes. Making the autoplay discovery feature near to useless. Unfortunately I signed up for a years subscriptions even though I cancelled it like within a week out from my renewal. They don’t reimburse you the remaining dollar amount of your subscription but say you can continue using their service until it expires. So no subscription refunds if you decide to cancel, costly if sign up for a yearly subscription. Plus their dispute resolution is a online form written in French. For me they need to improve their app, a full redesign (ie native Apple app), provide actual local support contact to raise issues, tickets etc, local servers in Australia to resolve laggy load/playback. Better music discovery algorithm options to tweak what it uses on calculating the autoplay tracks. Definitely Doby atm support. Refund yearly subscriptions if people decide to cancel. The quality of their lossless library wasn’t sufficient to get me to continue as an active subscriber. Their lack of any local customer and technical support and a policy to not refund yearly subscriptions means I can’t recommend them..Version: 6.12.0

Better than some others, but still needs workThe app is definitely better than some other apps out there. One that comes to mind is tidal. I just love the value! After using a few apps, I have the following gripes: 1. The import (download) feature needs to add the option to download all liked songs. For now I have to push all of my favorites into a playlist and then download. 2. Large playlists are truncated with a button to view more. Just switch to lazyloading or endless scrolling. 3. Longer playlists revert to the shortened view when you select a track and then back out back to the playlist view. This makes you lose your spot in the playlist. Very frustrating. 4. Unlike Tidal, you don't know what quality a song is until you select it. Please add this data in the list view. 5. When playing a song, only the sample rate is present. Please add the bitrate and resolution..Version: 6.4.2

Not accessible for vision impairedI have cancelled my subscription. I am blind and cannot use app as it is not compatible with ios Voice Over. Not good enough..Version: 5.20.0

Great sound, buggy appHas the best sound quality out of all the services I’ve tried. However, the app is buggy. The favorites section only shows 300 items for each favorites section (releases, tracks, and artists). For some reason this 300 limit makes it impossible to search all of your favorites. If what you search for isn’t in the initial 300, it will not appear. In order to display all favorites, you have to scroll to the bottom of the list so it refreshes and displays more items. You have to repeat this until all your favorites are displayed. Once done you can then search all of your favorites. This issue needs to be looked into. I don’t what to have to do this each time I want to search my favorites. Other then that, the app is fine for me..Version: 7.2.0

LimitedQobuz suffers from a problem no other platform does. If you add a track to your favourites, over time that will be flagged as “unavailable”. This happens a lot and it ruins the app entirely. There is no point in having a music app if you can’t play your library of music. Also suffers from really choppy scrolling on 120hz screens, performance in general is poor. Apple Music offers all the benefits of Qobuz with none of the drawbacks and even worse (for Qobuz), it’s cheaper..Version: 7.2.0

Does not work at all.Completely unable to subscribe or even use a free trial subscription. Clicking on free trial takes you to a page that says ”sorry, there are no offers available right now.” Clicking on the subscription takes you to ”sorry, there are no offers available right now. Don't qobuz want people to pay for their service???!.Version: 4.0.17

NopeNope no good.Version: 7.3.0

Great app but still needs better search and layout choicesI have had a Qobuz account for many years now and really enjoy using the app. It is much improved and many of the past problems are being ironed out. However there has been much said by Qobuz about improving search and it just hasn’t happened. When I do a search for something specific in classical I tap on view all albums I get a very long list in what it seems is a very random order and no way to sort or filter this (in my case most recent first would be great). There are many times I have searched for a composer only not to find them until I can remember their full name and type this in. The app really needs a full search facility, and filter and sort. Update - still a great app but terrible search for classical. No change to above. Oddly with the new search changes you get a lovely tiled view of albums under the Artist tab but in Album tab just a list. You can’t see enough of the text anyway so a tiled view would at least allow me to read the album cover. Also still no way to organise your favourite albums meanfully or to search them easily, so I deleted most as I just had a large sprawling list where I could never find anything. I have now cancelled my subscription and moved to Presto Classical..Version: 7.8.1

Fantastic Sound Strangled by a Poor AppI have tried three times to use Qobuz as my single source of music. Limited library aside, I dove in and downloaded all my favorites. That’s where it started. Slow downloads and when the iPhone auto locks your download stops. No background refresh. Listening is fantastic. And the music quality is well identified. (Unlike other services.) BUT, if the app begins to skip tracks you have to empty the cache. Who else has a cache? And it does seem it’s not Carplay ready. I hardwire to the car to get the highest sound res. If I re-enter the car and start Carplay the app is blank and I have to reconnect the iPhone. It takes a lot of hand holding to use this app. Maybe only listen to Qobuz at home. Again great sound and could listen to it all day but not on the iOS app..Version: 7.3.4

Great app but quality has decreased significantlyI use Qobuz for over 5 years. The app is great in terms of quality of sound etc. However, there are now so many quite common recordings either not fully or not at all available (tracks marked with ‘sample’ label you can listen to only for a few seconds, previously available records of great quality and top interpretations in their branch of music, e.g. classical music, which have been removed without reason although Qobuz has contracts with the label, etc). When you write to the Customer Support you either don’t get any response or they promise to fix and nothing happens - extremely disappointing! I assume the management of Qobuz is of lower quality or they don’t care about continuous improvement. I am considering shifting to a competitor. Pity that such a promising app gets ruined by simple mismanagement..Version: 6.3.0

App crashing too muchI’ve been more or less happy with Qobuz so far but recently the iOS app has been crashing. Two examples: (1) when cueing far forward on a longer track, it crashes. More incremental ff and it’s fine. (2) in article on “New British jazz scene in 10 albums” I click on link to Brownswood Recordings and it crashes (hence this review). I’ve tried twice and same thing each time. Not a very helpful article then! I like the content on Qobuz and obviously the commitment to hi-res. But it really has to be more stable if I’m to stick with it. Please sort out..Version: 6.5.1

Very good music but app stability needs a lot of workAmazing music with hi res options but app on iPhone often crashes and when using Google to cast to my HK Citation speaker (Google Home) it often gets sluggish with operability and frequently when app goes to sleep you have to start music over. Loses connection after just a few minutes using network/casting. Also, auto play after track or album is selected is very hit or miss, they need to drastically improve their algorithm. MUST add music station based on artist or song. I find myself frequently restarting the app when songs stop playing or don’t continue to the next track after switching from streaming device..Version: 6.7.1

BrokenAfter repeated attempts to contact customer support, all of which have failed. I am still unable to access my Music. I have cleared the cash, reinstalled the app, signed and signed out. Nothing works and I cannot get a hold of customer service. I have looked up this issue on Reddit and appears to have happened to multiple people which is fine if customer service was able to rebuild accounts in a timely manner. No matter how good of a service it is if their people are unable or unwilling to support it due to their own ignorance or poor staffing choices. This app is not worth your money at this moment..Version: 7.1.1

Useless offline libraryGuys, seriously, you need to fix this. When there are multiple albums from one artist downloaded into the offline library, selecting offline library then the artist in question you get less than one second to see the list of downloads then it automatically switches to the full available online list by that artist. Therefore the only way to select a particular album is to first know which album you want then look in albums list alphabetically; a total pain in the a**!.Version: 5.3.1

Great Sound…disappointing playlistsGiving this a 30 day trial vs my Tidal Hifi subscription. The sound quality is outstanding…better than Tidal. But the playlists and customized content has been a letdown..Version: 7.4.0

Great sound - poor appTwice now I have subscribed to the service and mid way through my subscription it will switch back to trial and will only allow me to listen to 30 second ‘sample’ tracks. This is obviously a huge glitch as it allows me to listen to some of my library normally, but the lion share of the entire music library is now locked off. Resubscribing causes an error. Additionally there continues to be frequent playback issues where the app will outright refuse to play a track, or skip all over the place making the track unlistenable. The latter has been a issue for some time now, and has not been fully addressed. That is my reason for the 1 star review. Works fine on windows where I do most my listening, but what is the point of having this mobile app If I cannot reliably access my music library..Version: 6.7.1

Clunky and slow. Otherwise a great service. No real complaints about sound quality or library size, but man is the app slow and awkward to use. Inputs don’t get registered for up to 5 seconds sometimes before the app jitters and finally skips the song. Sometimes Qobuz UI says it’s playing a song different to what it’s actually playing. Good service, but the app could really use some optimization. QoL changes would be much appreciated..Version: 7.4.0

Does not play songs on new albumsI have closed app after updating multiple time. It keeps on skipping songs on new albums but does not play..Version: 6.8.0

Good music quality - awful Apple Car PlayQobuz is great for high quality music playback, but the Apple Car Okay experience is just appalling and do far behind all other streaming apps. Most of the time it's impossible to actually play music as the app is non-responsive and I have to revert to Amazon Music. You guys really need to sort your app..Version: 7.8.2

App needs workStarted my trial to see if I like Qobuz better than Tidal. I noticed Qobuz has more of certain masters than tidal, but it’s also missing stuff that tidal does have. I’m satisfied with the quality and selection but the app needs a lot of work. Playback gives errors more often than Im okay with, and I don’t like how the player disappears completely when you’re in the search menu. You have to go all the way back to get back to the player which is super inconvenient. In my opinion, album titles should be moved to the top and featured artist should be next to the artist name. I don’t like how there’s no exact release dates for anything, just the year it came out. The discover tab needs a whole revamp, it’s super hard to find new music for me and nothing is relevant. If there’s a new music Friday tab like every other app someone please tell me. If not that’s something people are used to with other services so that’s a must for me. Swiping though songs in the player would be really nice. There’s loading symbols for basically everything you press, even just favoriting a song. The app needs an overhaul. Other than that it’s a good service but because of the app alone I won’t be choosing this over tidal just yet.Version: 5.9.0

MisleadingI’m writing from the perspective of a non-subscriber who simply wished to listen to the Hi-Res music purchased from the Qobuz site. I bought two High-Res albums on the Qobuz website, at which point I was directed to listen to them via the app. However, you are not informed that as a non-subscriber, you can only import them at CD quality (16 bit vs 24 bit)—CD quality being a different, cheaper option to purchase. It’s not an outright scam as you can download the files on a PC and then sync them to your iPhone, but had that been made clear, I would have bought them from a cheaper site (the convenience of the app was a selling point for me). I feel that having to subscribe in order to properly listen to the music that you have actually bought is an exploitative model for an app..Version: 4.0.18

Via app purchases and bulk downloadingStill can’t make purchases via the app, a year in from 1st complaining of this. I would buy so many more albums if I didn’t have to sign into a PC Every time i wanted to make a purchase. Why is this still an issue?? And I want to be able to download all my latest albums in groups, not singularly, and have a preselected download resolution set to speed the process up. Docked a star for slow advances. Otherwise, it looks good and performs well..Version: 5.21.0

No lyricsMusic wise, it’s probably 5 stars, but need the lyrics as a convenience ( and it’s a little slow to load compared to others) - but pay no heed to me if you just want the music.Version: 7.5.2

Great sound quality, bad appSearch function is absolutely horrible. Playlists should show in their entirety when you return to them, but you always have to scroll all the way back down, click “show more” then scroll some more. Service hangs often, and often is unable to stream tracks for no reason (error), which bombs your playlist and makes you have to start it over and then get replays. So many problems and still none fixed after almost a year, it’s like no one ever tests this thing..Version: 6.3.0

Pains me to write this…I want to love this app - the sound quality is amazing and I can tell a lot of love and knowledge goes into the playlists and artist profiles. BUT. This app can’t love me back the way it currently functions. 15 minutes to import a CD quality album (and not a long one either! 10 songs) on my high speed internet. Then those imported songs are dropped - whole playlists! Rough to have this happen mid jog, only 10 out of dozens of imported tracks available. Unfortunately I can’t trust the performance, and unless things improve, I’m going to have to try another streaming service..Version: 6.5.1
