Amazon Prime Now for Positive User Reviews

Could be great with some minor changesOverall very useful and easy to use. The filters in some cases aren’t great. Also, it gives you the option to apply no replacements to your whole cart but then to individual items which is confusing. More importantly, there should be an option for you to choose how you would like to be contacted about order issues. I had an order with a couple items they said were out of stock but the notifications didn’t come through right away and by the time they did it was too late to tell them to make a replacement, whereas a call would’ve been much simpler. Overall though, few issues with using the app..Version: 5.3.1

Great app!Seen bad reviews for the grocery aspect of the app but I don’t use it for that anyway 😂 I have placed about 4 orders, all that were last minute items that I needed the same day. First order was pampers and wipes for my infant, second order was pacifiers, third was some swimming trunks for my sons swimming lessons that were being held later on that day, third was a charger because the current one stopped working and I received my new one before my phone had a chance to die, last was two packs of socks for each of my children since they never can find matching pairs. Each order arrived in two hours and the items were cheap. Delivery fee isn’t that bad. I like the app a lot, very convenient!.Version: 5.7.1

In our hour of needI’m not sure what we would’ve done without being able to use this service during lockdown. They kept us as well as our shielding in laws fed and watered. Thanks to all the guys that picked and delivered..Version: 5.16.6

Improvement RecommendationThis service is huge and I appreciate it greatly. I just wish there was a way to see what has been removed from my cart due to items being out of stock because it is maddening trying to remember what I had previously added when it is gone. This then prevents me from being able to find a suitable alternative if needed. I like to build my cart throughout the week as I identify things we need, but when they just disappear it makes this process less effiecient than it could be..Version: 5.16.2

Well well wellI used this quite frequently in the past. It was so cute to get food and other items delivered quickly but now with the new charges, and less likelihood of acquiring an earlier delivery slot, the shopping experience has turned for the worse. I’d rather fight my anxiety and run to the local shop for my quick fix, unfortunately..Version: 4.4.1

The best!!!The best home food shopping! Good prices and has most things always got delivery when said and was always updated.Version: 5.3.1

Decent availabilityGreat app and faster than the supermarket ones. Added lines of chilled items really good sometimes its a short date so not ideal as have to freeze! and instant sms if items not available and recycled paper bags is pretty amazing. Will be my choice for online groceries and storecupboard stock..Version: 5.16.4

Almost Perfect for The Last 4’ish years in San DiegoI’ve never tried to order anything that needs to be perfect or delivered at an exact time, because this is a blazing fast service and there are bound to be a few hiccups. A tiny price to pay for a revolutionary service. I gave up cable about 4 years ago and couldn’t get a good connection for the super bowl on a certain streaming account. I ordered an ugly $8 TV antenna, it arrived before the next quarter and had a better picture quality than cable. The food service is great (restaurant and grocery) and now that I am a single mom with a 2 year old, this service is a godsend. Perfect, no. But far exceeds any standards I have for such an amazing service..Version: 5.14.1

So gratefulAs a working mom of 2 little kids, i feel so lucky to have someone save me 1-2 hours per week on driving / shopping for groceries. Amazed all the negative reviews who want a concierge service for the price of a $5 tip. If you’re new to this service, here is how to get the most of it: 1. Don’t select exotic items. If your friend wouldn’t find it at the store, don’t be surprised if the shopper can’t either 2. Unless you’re feeling adventurous, don’t allow for substitutions. The shopper is not a Whole Foods expert. They are a regular person who may not share your vegan dietary restrictions or knowledge of whole30 appropriate ingredients. 3. Be flexible. accept that a key item may be missing and have a plan B. Accept that you cannot micromanage the ripeness of the bananas or avocados you receive. . 4. TIP well. Someone is saving you effort, gas and 1+ hours and there is no delivery fee. Imagine if you had to hire someone to do this. That’s worth a minimum of $10 for a mid size order, short distance from the store. Frankly, it’s worth more. 5. Stop wining. If you’re going to cry over having your food arrive 20 mins late or being placed too close to your door, get in your car and go there yourself..Version: 5.15.1

FastAbsolutely brilliant service, very easy to search and add items quickly and decisively, Far better than the supermarket food shopping apps. I have been using this service now for 8 months, and never been to a shop since, please don’t look at the 2.7 rating and judge from that, as I have no idea why others seem to insist on bringing this service down. I can assure you, once you have installed on your phone, you won’t be grocery shopping and joining the cues, and social distancing and getting stressed and wasting 2 hours of your time again. Do your grocery shopping now with this app, takes 20 mins, then have it delivered in the afternoon. How they can achieve this level of speedy delivery I have no idea! You cannot get this speed of service from any other app. Try it, seriously just try it! Extremely impressed!!.Version: 5.16.4

Want good service? PRIME beats InstaCart everyday!I am unable to drive due to an injury. This situation is permanent for me. So I depend on apps & good people (customer service you can actually talk to) like PRIME. I’ve never had a bad delivery with prime I’ve always had good people and they always delivered when they said they would ! I tried Instacart but they kept changing the delivery times on me and I would get charges that I would have to email and wait days to get taken off. The thing that bothered me the most was the one hour delivery they supposedly had and then constantly change to two hours! PRIME has NEVER done this! They have always been on time and accurate with my orders. Never changing things out for different things for more expensive items either! Prime is my go too!!.Version: 5.11

Very Handy AppI have used this app for the first time today., which was straightforward to use. I usually shop with Morrison’s and always have to book a slot at least 7/10days before I need it. I booked this slot yesterday afternoon, and feel sure I would have got a slot the same afternoon had I thought about it earlier. My shopping arrived on time, and the goods were delivered in large brown paper bags like you see in the USA Everything was there, no replacements, and of course no delivery charge, which was an absolute bonus. I cannot fault it at the moment.Version: 5.16.4

Inaccurate delivery time framesLove getting stuff delivered to me. No complaints there. But A few times now I have selected a later delivery window just to be notified that my order is to arrive an hour or so ahead of schedule. Normally I wouldn’t complain getting something earlier than I thought, but there have been times when I’m not home yet because I didn’t expect the order for another hour or so and I have to rush back to try to make it. I wish they’d at least give you an earlier notification or have you confirm an earlier delivery..Version: 5.7.1

Works well, a little sluggishI’m not sure what all these one star complaints are about. I’ve ordered 3 times without any issues. My only complaint is the longer you use the app or the more items you add to your cart the slower it goes. It also makes my phone get really hot. Otherwise, you pick all your stuff. They shop for you. If something isn’t available in the store (it goes to your local store) then they text you and offer an alternative of something similar. You pick a 2 hour window. Pay. And then they leave the stuff on your porch. It’s the freakin best... I don’t have to actually talk or see anyone and groceries appear. What’s not to love? Frozen stuff is put in cooling packaging, wrapped, and remains frozen provided you get the stuff off the porch in a reasonable amount of time. Most of the packaging is recyclable. Seriously? What’s with the complaints? Have you never ordered delivery before?.Version: 5.9

Amazing, so incredibly helpfulAs someone with a disability and a young baby getting out the shops can often be very difficult. I was left in a predicament this evening where I needed some last minute items for the morning, the baby was asleep so I had no option of going to the shop. Prime now has everything I needed and was delivered in great time! I can now relax for the rest of the evening without worrying about not having the food I needed. Only wish the app was compatible with my iPad, only using the iphone version on my iPad so doesn’t fit the screen and crashed a couple of times, but in general I can live with that, after all this app is a life saver!.Version: 5.8

Well designed appThis is an amazing app, especially during COVID-19. I am an essential worker. This allows me to pick up my food after work without the added stress of running into stores and looking for things. Yes, things run out during this uncertain times. I don’t see how physically shopping in the store would make the experience better, especially when you can’t blame it on the app... My only feedbacks would be to please use less plastic bags. I don’t need every item quarantines in its own bag. Also please be gentle with my heirloom tomatoes. I have lost two out of the last 4 pick up orders. They were squished before they got into my car so not edible by the time I got home. I can’t afford to order more heirloom tomatoes at this rate. I have tried delivery through this app as well. It also works better than other delivery apps..Version: 5.16.4

Excellent serviceVery fast delivery . Came within an hour or ordering . App crashed a few times but I’m sure it will improve with updates ..Version: 5.9

So Useful!Brilliant App and service to have, especially with the way things are at the moment! Items are hit and miss but that’s no different to when you go shopping yourself in person, communication is good and delivery is always on time, will never set foot in a supermarket again!.Version: 5.16.2

App needs work but good serviceWith a few updates this will be brilliant. Great service, app is a little frustrating and slow but if you can bare with it, it works well.Version: 5.16.5

Amazing App but “leave at door” button always ignored!Love the app it’s amazing use it all the time worryingly part of my life. One thing to change is that every time I tick “leave at door” and the deliverers ring the doorbell and knock on the door then call me. You should put a big disclaimer up saying “if you tick this button you agree that your goods at left at your risk” etc. etc..Version: 5.13

I’m satisfiedThis is good for people who despise going to the grocery store like me because of my crippling social phobias. I ordered about $170 worth of groceries and was quite pleased with what I received. Although some produce such as my grapes and apples weren’t really that fresh and we’re bruised, it was worth the money to not have to go to the grocery store myself. It’s definitely not two hour delivery from the time of purchase, you just pick a 2 hour delivery window which people probably don’t know from the misleading advertising of prime now. Overall pleased!.Version: 4.6

Great service.Could not fault it at all, ordered at 8am delivery arrived at 11am. Found it easy to order. Will definitely use it again. Just waiting for them to be able to deliver chill and frozen food..Version: 5.16.2

PerfectIf next day delivery is not enough for you (on Prime), then there is Prime Now, with delivery in 2 hours (or you can select a 2h delivery slot later that day). Used the service multiple times, never had any issues, my items were always delivered on time. Great to be able to track the driver. No complaints whatsoever..Version: 5.6

It was better, now it’s just ok.I was using this app at least 1-3 times a month to shop at Whole Foods. I like the store but it’s not along my usual travel route so I don’t get there as often as I’d like. It’s not ridiculously far from me, but just in the opposite direction of where I’m usually going or coming home from. Being a Prime Member the free delivery was great. Well worth the cost of a $4-$5 tip. Now the app has changed. You no longer list the sale items or the bonus specials for prime members. Why are they hidden? I need to look up the weekly / monthly flyer and go back and forth to find out what’s on sale. I was doing that recently and after 25 minutes decided it just wasn’t worth my time and X’d out the app with over $100 worth of items in my cart. Please bring back the convenience. Update: The prime and sale item buttons are back making it easy and convenient once again..Version: 5.10

A-mazon-ing 😀Negative reviews about paying for Prime, then paying for delivery? Wow. Access to tv, books, music and free delivery on normal orders not enough? Well, let’s review this app now. Today was why I love it. Hard week at work, usually pick up some beers etc on a Fri, or my wife does. In a meeting and didn’t see her ‘want anything from the shop?’ text. Got home and nearly cried when I saw her wine in the fridge and no beer! Checked my phone and there was the text! So I opened up Prime Now and bingo - 15 mins later Driver turns up with chilled beers and goodies! I do live 2 mins from a depot, but still 15 mins! It would take me longer to drive to the store. Yes I paid £6.99. But it was this or bath the kids, read to the kids, put them in bed, get changed, drive to the shop... you get the picture. Hallelujah for Prime Now!.Version: 4.7.3
