Hydra 1 (Legacy version) for Positive User Reviews

Great potential!Great app, does what it does very well but only saves a low quality jpg, please add (compressed) tiff support or png (be sure to preserve metadata). I'd be extremely impressed if the developer manages to implement this tech using the new RAW capabilities of 6s devices and newer. FYI Lightroom on the desktop manages to merge RAW photos into one super resolution (or panoramic) RAW..Version: 1.3.1

HydraTres bon et facile a utiliser.Version: 1.1.2

One of the best camera apps. This app produces by far the cleanest images of any camera app I have. Brilliant! Looking forward to updates.Version: 1.0

Requires a steady handThe effects are great if you can hold the iPhone steady and your subject isn't moving. You can also get some neat effects with things like falling snow. It definitely has a use but not as a regular every day shooter..Version: 1.0.1

Awesome potentialThis is a great app if you understand how to use it ie. You need a still object and still hand, preferably holding your phone against something. Hopefully the developers will update with a slider for the HDR amount instead of just medium and strong. The zoom feature works really well..Version: 1.0.1

Sweet app!I’ve owned an iPhone since it’s initial release and I’ve never writing a review for an app until now. 10 years. This app does everything it says it does! On my iPhone X the shots are what I expected and more. I recommend this app to anyone who is a photographer. Professional to the beginner. This is an app you need in your photo arsenal!.Version: 1.4.1

Needs updateIt’s great for what it does. But I would like it to be more clear when it is using telephoto lens or regular. And it would be nice if it can add support for ultra wide lens to create super resolution or low light..Version: 1.6.2

Good Job Hydra (Updated)UPDATE: The Dev actually listens! Now the zoom mode can use the 2x optical zoom lens, and it ACTUALLY takes clearer photos than the default camera. Same with the super resolution mode. I actually compared this mode with Pixel 3’s super res zoom, and it shoots equally clear, if not clearer. Note that this is using the 1x lens, so it’s algorithm VS algorithm here, no hardware advantage (if you take into account that pixels are smaller on the iPhone X than on the Pixel 3, there is even a disadvantage). This app updates itself on a very regular basis. I’m glad there are such apps in the ecosystem. ———————————————————— This app’s HDR mode basically makes your iPhone into a Pixel 2 crusher. Well worth the money. This app needs to be promoted by App Store. I have tried other camera apps but none rivals Hydra. So simple UI, yet so powerful. Dev you’re some sort of a genius. One thing, have you tried switching to the Telephoto lens on 7P/8P/X for zoom mode? I noticed that zoom function is implemented on the wide angle lens. Enabling zoom on the telephoto lens will definitely give it an edge over Apple’s default camera. Also, in HDR, can we put the process of light detection after taking, say, 20 photos of all ISOs? This way, the user has to hold the phone steady for less time, and processing can happen afterwards..Version: 1.6

Pretty impressiveThe lo-light and zoom modes are particularly impressive, producing noticeably better images than the standard Camera app. Not for all your photos as the subject/scene needs to be stationary, but great in certain situations..Version: 1.0.1

Brilliant appBeen using it for a while and I must say this is the best camera app I've tried Needs some development though, a timer for instance would be really useful Downside is, it keeps rotating the photos for some reason but other than that it's spot on.Version: 1.2.1

Will a timer be added?Hi, fantastic app. Great picture quality compared to the basic 6s photos (my phone). I was wondering if there will ever be an option to add a delay for a scenario where you have a tripod, and want to take a group picture with whoever would normally take the photo in it..Version: 1.6.2

Excellent for the right circumstancesThis is a very good camera application when used in the circumstances for which it was designed. It really shines in its high resolution mode and it is very good for a quick zoomed in shot at a reasonable quality without any editing. I quite like how it processes low light images, keeping the feeling or mood that it is an image taken at night, and not just blasting the brightness up. As others have said, I’m not as keen on its HDR images compared to some other apps but that is not to say that they are bad, just that you can do better with, for example, Pro HDR X. As with all of this type of camera application, including the solid Cortex Cam mentioned in other reviews, it is essential that you read and follow the instructions. You use the camera in a different way in the high resolution mode than in, say, the low light mode. Yes, this does create some limitations (e.g. you need to avoid movement in the image field except as a creative choice) but they are a result of the algorithms used not something the developer has done badly. If you want to capture a moving object, use a different application. But if you want crisp, sensibly and well processed images, and you are willing to follow the instructions, you will be well rewarded by Hydra. Five stars for what it is now and I only expect it to continue to improve..Version: 1.1.1

IPad mini now 25MP!Best for landscape photography. Fantastic detail with only hand held photos. Make my 2015 IPad mini's 5MP camera into a 25 MP? Very happy with this app. Thanks developers..Version: 1.0.1

Absolutely incredible photosThis camera app is not your average. It does a spectacular job at taking low light photos. Be sure however to READ THE HELP DOCUMENT in the app to fully understand HOW to take the photos with best results. Small learning curve, but once trained, the photos of a moonset in the early hours of dawn on my iPhone 6+ rival a DSLR. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 1.0

Very GoodReally impressive app that squeezes a lot out of the iPhone camera. It is not for every scenario but if used for still subjects it is really worthwhile. The negative 'blurry' reviews are written by people who are not really understanding how it works and the limitations that causes. My only suggestion would be some more manual control in the HDR video. If you enjoy getting the most out of your iPhone camera then buying this app is a no brained!.Version: 1.0

Excellent app and does what it claimsThe results are drastic and well worth the price. When taking pictures outdoors, your subjects hate facing the sun or squint or have shades on making them look like raccoons. This app allows you to take photos in places that all too many of us are stuck with...close to a bright window for instance. The only issue I have found is the erroneous location data, it says I'm in Kazakhstan (I took the pic in Toronto). Great work and hope you get the location issue fixed soon..Version: 1.0

Wow!!Compared the high res hydra picture with the native camera one and there is a clear difference in noise and overall image quality. Love it..Version: 1.8.2

Amazing for still scenesIf you want a still or scenic shot and only have a phone, this app gives a huge improvement of image quality. You need to find a rest. A brilliant tool to have in your toolbox..Version: 1.0

BL00DY SUPERBI looked as this app having used their "Emulsio" video stabilizer and it is every bit (pun intended) as good. I am not easily parted from money but this just had to be. I cannot fault Hydra, it is so well made. The only part I don't really understand is the video HDR, but that's my fault not theirs. I used a short three inch cardboard tube with a slot cut in the end to hold the phone still, the results exceeded all expectations..Version: 1.0.1

Best app that be used everyday on my phoneHydra is the best pic helper on my phone absolutely. And I am used it every single day and it does useful. Before I worried the price for it and after I brought, it becomes more reasonable because of the functions. If you are the shutterbug likes me, just buy it and Hydra will give you the biggest surprise for its functions. Like and love it Hope Hydra can update more and becomes more powerful :).Version: 1.2.1

Great details with aggressive algorithm, recommendedHowever defected with locational data - pictures taken in Grand Canyon Arizona, US saves as Shaxi China; picture taken in Colorado US, Hydra saves as Inner Mongolia!.Version: 1.0.1

Bracketing on iOSHydra is the best option I've been able to find for taking bracketed photos. I do wish I could control the dynamic range with sliders instead of "low" and "high" both of which are sometimes too strong. But under the right conditions, it's awesome.Version: 1.6.2

Issue: Doesn’t let the native camera app to click and save photosI’m happy with the performance and interface of the app. May I share a bug that I came across? I’d want to use the Hydra app when I have a special need - e.g. High Resolution. For some simple everyday photos, like clicking a snapshot of a document, I want to use the native iOS app. For some reason, since the day I installed (purchased) the Hydra app, I am not able to click photos using the native app! @ Developers: Can you help me - maybe I’m missing something. Or, can you help resolve the bug? Thanks.Version: 1.7

Very impressiveReally wasn't sure do to 50/50 reviews. Ignore the bad ones all you need is to hold the camera steady as it takes multiple Photos to achieve the amazing results. Really is amazing great work guys, HDR is incredible and hi resolution is also just as good. This isn't a point and shoot its hold steady and shoot app :).Version: 1.1.1

Great appFantastic app with excellent support. Thanks!.Version: 1.0

Very good actually. Some HDR tweaking needed.I’m a keen photographer and I have to say I’m very impressed with the zoom feature. I’ve done various tests against the stock camera app (iPhone X) and this app wins every time. The digital noise is controlled very well. As for HDR there needs to be more settings than just B&W, medium and strong. I can never get any shots to look good. Maybe if there were some manual settings for HDR it would help a lot. Hi-Res is another one which works very well. Maybe a little soft, but it’s better than having noise. So, all in all, a very good app only brought down by the poor HDR quality and lack of HDR manual settings. Please give us more control over HDR and this will be one of the top apps I’ve bought..Version: 1.8.3

Super Photography AppI bought this after hearing it recommended on Macbreak Weekly on TWIT. I haven't regretted the purchase. I have been able to manage some beautiful shots. Really perfect HDR and some magnificent 30 mega pixel photographs. It has limitations and requires some patience to use. Very worthwhile..Version: 1.0

5 star app!Photos are noise free and has more detail. A tripod is a must for all the still photo modes. Love the zoom mode that render photos crisp and noise free. It has actually made zooming in usable on iPhone 6 plus. Well done team!.Version: 1.0

Great AppI have only used Hydra a few times. The results are very good. I will certainly make this my camera app for future shots. Thanks for your efforts to bring this to us..Version: 1.2.1

Money well spentIt’s great! I don’t like having to hold my hands still for up to 10 seconds but it’s the only way to get HiRes photos. I have an 8MP camera so this is so useful! Thank you!.Version: 1.5.1

A huge upgrade to the iPad camera - superb!I'm using it for the hi-res, zoom and low light settings. Works brilliantly, delivering fantastic quality images. You need to be able to hold the camera steady, or fix it in a position where it will not move, because it can take a few seconds to capture the picture. Assuming you can do that, it produces simply stunning results every time..Version: 1.0

Good appTakes pretty good shots. Not on par with some other paid apps but a solid performer. Could benefit from a wider range of exposures that would increase the range of light. I use this app quite a bit!.Version: 1.7

Wow,The pictures are so crisp, and the HDR functionalities are unbelievable. The 32mp mode (when used right) can produce photos equal to dslr quality. The only downside of this app is that it takes a while to get used to and can sometimes mess up a picture. But practice makes perfect, as always. Great for professional photographers or amateurs. Would definitely recommend.Version: 1.3.4

SuperbAs a semi-pro photographer, I can’t recommend this app highly enough. HDR and Low-light modes are so well executed!.Version: 1.5.1

Hydra rocks!Easy to use and extremely powerful. Worth every penny..Version: 1.3.4

Great in still situationsI tried several scenarios. First off, the app is not perfect but if used properly, it does produce greater quality pictures. Just don't use when : you can't find a way to keep phone immobile, when subjects are moving. I took a shot with and without hydra of my sleeping baby and the hydra pic was great. I held the phone against the wall to prevent movement. On the other hand the results are not systematically great and if the moment for a picture is NOW I won't use hydra. I will use hydra for non moving decors and the such. I've seen many artefacts or blurry parts due to the stitching... Still, some pictures were far better than iphone stock photos. As for lo-light, even indoors in daytime it makes a good difference. My next test will include my old 10 mp camera..Version: 1.0.1

Excellent AppThis is my go-to app for quality photography. Easily the best value for money app I have ever purchased. These are my three most heavily used features:- - Low Light: Heightened resolution, crisp and high quality low-light shot - High Res: Spectacular high resolution capability. - HDR: Again, spectacularly high quality HDR shot. My only request for the team is (shock, horror!), can you let me use the front camera as well? ;).Version: 1.2.1

Excellent. Very useful and surprisingly good. This complements my dslr when on the move. The image stabilisation, alignment and ghosting reduction is superb. Zoom function is surprisingly good. The stabilisation hand held is second to none..Version: 1.2.2

Amazing possibilities!I concur with a previous reviewer - ignore the one-star reviews. This is a great app, which adds new photographic options and possibilities. I've already got a range of photo apps, including an HDR app, but the speed, quality and options of this app blows it away. Not problem with exposure speed on my iPhone 6. If you understand the concept of HDR photos then you'll know this isn't for action shots..Version: 1.0.1

Dual Camera support? This app is amazing. I use the Low Light feature whenever it’s even slightly dim in my photos, and the reduced noise is unreal. However, we’ve had dual camera phones for over two years now, and no updates that take advantage of them? I’d love to see Hydra work its magic while using portrait mode!.Version: 1.4.3

Include telephoto supportGreat app. I would like to see an option to switch to the telephoto lens on iPhone 7+, 8+, and 10 when zooming. This would increase the zoom to incredible levels..Version: 1.4.1

Tested in low lightI bought this because I often take photos indoors and suffer from the graininess caused by low light. I tested Hydra by comparing it against my favourite camera app and Hydra won. It took a very good photo. Hydra took 10 shots for the photo so it wasn't painful to keep it still. I haven't tried any other of Hydra's options but it is worth every penny to take a clear photo indoors.Version: 1.2.1

It’s goodI do not have a tripod but up you really need one if you want high quality photos..Version: 1.8.2

This is greatI am spoiled as I normally use a Canon 32mp camera for my photography. This app is the closest to that, using a phone. I mean for still shots, no moving subjects, it’s the best app, hands down. It’s noticeably different working with the extra megapixels in Lightroom because you’ll have more range to adjust with over the standard 12 megapixel shot. You’ll notice you can pinch zoom in on your photos almost 3 times more. I can only vouch for the way this app works on the 3 lens camera phones like the 11 pro..Version: 1.7.1

Unbelievably good!I never write reviews for apps or even rate them for that matter but for Hydra I had to make an exception! I am exceptionally impressed! I particularly love the zoom feature. I didn't know this kind and quality of photography was possible using an iPhone! Buy it!.Version: 1.0

Great stuffHold still or use a tripod. You can get great shots out of this thing..Version: 1.0.1

Great toolI bought this app before I bought a dedicated macro lens for work purposes. The algorithms work pretty well as long as you can hold still. Would like to see exposure adjustment and focus lock, trying to do macros can be tough without focus lock..Version: 1.7

Video SoundI really hope you guys remove the sound that is made by the app when we start recording a video in the next update. It’s pretty annoying. I purchased this app for the HDR recording, so please consider my request..Version: 1.5

Hydra is Awesome for sceneryI have had this app for just a couple days now. I have been using it mainly for landscape pictures including sunsets. The HDR software is by far the best I have used on an iPhone. The result has been stunning photos I could not have otherwise captured. I rate this app ‘five stars plus’ from day one!.Version: 1.6.2

Fantastic, exceeds expectations!Don’t get any ideas but I would easily pay 3 times what I paid for this!.Version: 1.4.4

Amazing indeed! When I first got Hydra, I was just going to try it out - and I assumed that it would be fine, but that it wouldn’t be enough for me to use it instead of Apple's. I was amazed. Low-light photos are significantly better; so much better actually that I took many shots with Hydra and the default camera to compare them. I showed the side-by-side comparisons to everyone in my family, and urged them to get it. Ultimately, the default camera app has stayed my first choice mostly out of convenience; I can get to it really quickly. But when I have time to set up a shot, or if the photos are going to be taken in dark settings, I will use Hydra every time..Version: 1.5.1

Awesome picturesTake some time to learn. Pictures stand out..Version: 1.2.1

Stunning zoom and hi res hdrThe app works in ios 9.1 beta 2 and is just incredible! Took some incredible sunsets along the Thames, thank you!.Version: 1.1.2

Improved cameraWorks well, impressed. Needs a timer so you don't bump the phone when using on a tripod..Version: 1.0.1

Great ConceptI'm really happy to see this type of app emerge. I would love to see the dynamic range increased for the 32mp photos, perhaps by doing a slight exposure bracket while capturing. Also the option to save as tiff and 32bit hdr files for processing on the computer would be awesome. I love it, keep up the great work!.Version: 1.4.4

Even better with iPhone Xs!Using this app with earlier iPhones still produces impressive detail-rich images. But, upon closer examination, they also usually have noise, especially noticeable in flat tones. Not so, with the latest generation hardware!! Very clean details! There are, frankly, a number of 'magical' camera apps out now that make iPhone-ography a lot of fun. But I'm glad I tried Hydra again to discover the best way to capture high-res 'zoomed telephoto' shots!.Version: 1.6.1

Superb app, if you know where best to use itDon't listen to the 1 star reviewers. They aren't using the app for its intended purpose. Read the help section in each mode and it'll tell you the way to get best results. This app works by using multiple images at same or different exposures to create images you can't normally achieve. It can practically remove noise from from a low lit scene. It can zoom, but it does this by cropping a more detailed image (cheating, but how else are you meant to do it?!). It can produce a higher resolution image and it does a great job at more realistic HDR using proper multiple exposures. So the one star reviewers need to understand that because it needs to take multiple pictures the camera needs to be still for a long time (which can be hard) and what you are taking pictures of needs to be still too. Hence why some complain of blur. Use the app for what it's intended it's a great tool. My only criticism and that it takes too long to capture all the exposures to creat the effect which limits its use, hence 4 stars. I'm sure this will be improved upon as the app develops. Clever piece of software which I am enjoying using. Bravo..Version: 1.0

This is awesome! Except for the location thing...Love this app. Does a great job. My picture location is showing up as being taken in Kazakhstan lol great app though... Definitely worth the price..Version: 1.0

Works perfectly well !One of a kind app with excellent photographic results..Version: 1.4

Absolute witchcraftWow incredible what software can do now days... this is extremely close to DSLR for landscape non moving shots. Brilliant.Version: 1.4.3

Amazing results on zoomThis is an amazing app, especially on the zoom mode. The other modes a good and useful but the zoom is amazing. But two things keep me from a 5 star. 1. Allow the preview to be zoomed so you can really frame the zoomed part. On the high zoom it can be hard to really frame the picture because it becomes so small in the picture that is shown. 2. And this is the real shame, please work with both cameras on X and Plus models. Phones with two cameras have been out for a couple of years now and plenty of apps can switch between both cameras. If I could choose the tele lens on my X and THEN do a 2x or 4x via their software, I think that would be REALLY amazing. If you have a phone with only one camera, this is really a great app. Until it can make use of the tele lens, it is not quite so useful on an X or Plus model..Version: 1.4.2

This is amazingThis app will let you take 32 (8k Rez) mega pixel. Amazing no other phone can do 8k photos yet!!!!!.Version: 1.3.3

Amaing result! The result is so amazing!!! All modes seem to remove noise a lot comparing with native camera app. Wish the app can take use of telephoto camera for iPhone 7Plus/8Plus/X to create even better 2x/4x photos..Version: 1.4.1

Hydra for everCette application m’impressionne encore. Je l’utilise régulièrement avec un mini studio au led les résultas sont vraiment impressionnant..Version: 1.4.1

SuperbThis is an incredible camera app and the latest updated polished up the features that make it stand out from the crowd. The HDR effect is natural and the low light shooting is brilliant. Recommended!.Version: 1.0.1

Great Pictures / Wrong Geo dataThis app takes great pictures but the location tagging is completely inaccurate. Please Fix..Version: 1.0

More UpdatesApp is wonderful and it need more updates !!!.Version: 1.4.1

Awesome app! This app is awesome. You can clearly see the huge picture quality improvement by comparing the picture took by this app compared to the apple camera app. Very impressed!.Version: 1.0

Work in progressTricky this. It's not for snapping pics out on the lash with your buds. It's a landscape photography app, it's not keen on things moving in the HDR mode. But what is not made clear is that on the super hires mode you MUST have some slight movement in order for the pixel mixing process to work. I can confirm that the low light mode does indeed reduce grain, but again, don't move. It's crashed a few times, but no biggy as its early days yet. I expect that things will get better and functions will be developed, but one thing must've added for any app that purports to HDR or superpixel work. Formats ! TIFF or some other non compressed formats must be made available, until then it's an expensive toy. And oh yeah, get a tripod for this app..Version: 1.0

Works even better with the tripodUpgraded to the 7plus In the pictures look even better than my 6S and if you have a tripod it’s even better..Version: 1.6

Insanely amazing 😬Wow. I prefer the low light mode on 8 mp. Wow. So so so beautiful. Masha Allah. Just amazing. People ragging on the devs really aren't that patient. Learn how to shoot photos. Have a steady hand. On the iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 this app is killer. Even on the 5S it's really amazing. 3 mp or 8 mp on the 5S is ideal. The Air 2 and iPhone 6/6+ can handle the 12 mp easily or higher. Just love this app..Version: 1.0

Really impressive appI really love this app for static shots. Motion in the frame is problematic, but it's really impressive to get 32 megapixel shots out of a 12 megapixel camera..Version: 1.5

Pro Photography AppI’m a serious photographer and I must say at first I was a little critical about this app and what it claims to achieve but I must say wow, I was impressed this thing can generate better results then any other app I’ve tried so far and believe me I tried almost all. The highlight for me was the 32 mega pixel high res image mode. No it does not give you 32 mega pixel but it imitates that effect by stitching a lot of pictures together to create one that has less noise, more detail and overall quality compared to the standard camera. But.... this only works well on a tripod mainly as there can be almost no movement. But if you are seriously into photography then you will understand what it takes to create good images. All the other modes are cool too, hdr works quite well and gives nice results as does the low light mode. It was worth the 7 dollars for me just to get the High Res Photo Mode. Thanks for your development, it would be nice to see more features like RAW capture or exposure compensation in the future..Version: 1.5.1

OutstandingExcellent for low light photography- captures 10 images in an instant and blends them to produce results with almost no noise. The zoom feature is ingenious, relying on natural handheld camera shake to take multiple images from very slightly different positions, which are then combined to create higher resolution than could otherwise be achieved. Highly recommended..Version: 1.0.1

Does exactly what it says! This is a very clever app that does exactly what it says it does. The results shouldn’t be possible, but there they are! The low light mode photos aren’t as good as NeuralCam (the results from that app are brighter with more detail), but everything else here is pretty amazing. I just wish there was at least a TIFF mode for less compression. If the developers could merge DNG data that would be even better! But I doubt that’s possible..Version: 1.7

Worth it for the low-light mode alonePeople slamming this app with 1 star reviews clearly seem to think the developers can break the laws of physics. This app is not intended to make stunning photographs of moving objects. This is a fantastic compliment to the iPhone camera for when you need to shoot something in low light (HUGE noise reduction with this mode!) and HDR photos. I am not convinced that the 32MP and 4x zoom functions are as useful as they claim to be but for the low light performance alone, this is a great app. Read the info boxes to learn how to take advantage of the different modes..Version: 1.0.1

Best super sampling appThis is the best app for super-sampling that I’ve used. This very easily gives you basically an *optical* zoom lens, using time to overcome the hardware limitations of your iPhone camera, instead of the traditional two pieces of glass far apart from each other found in stand alone cameras. Rather than needing a tripod or having to place your phone on a still surface, Hydra uses the small movements of your hands holding the camera to successfully supersample a high resolution image. Successfully removes the ugly iPhone rice-looking grain too. Very cool..Version: 1.5.1

Quite clever - ignore the low rating reviews!Takes good photos if you have a reasonably steady hand. This app does exactly what they say. The extra resolution in zoom and HDR modes really does make a difference. It's easier to read small text on pictures taken in "hires" mode with this app than with the regular photo app. Overall quite impressed would recommend to any one who takes photos regularly on an iPhone.Version: 1.0.1

Amazing. Does incredible things with iPhone hardware. It's seriously impressive what this app can do with the iPhone's sensor. I look forward to future updates with more controls.Version: 1.0

Use it correctlyI suspect that a few of the neg reviews below are due to using the app incorrectly. It is only for static subjects and you can move, but only normal hand held shake. Of course you don't get more detail from the 32mb files produced, but you can crop or print these files to a greater extent than you would be able to otherwise. I like it!.Version: 1.0.1

5 starsI don’t ever right reviews, but this app deserves it. I went in thinking that it probably wouldn’t be any different than any other “crazy” camera app. But wow, how I was wrong. This app has changed the game. I tried it out in NYC for the higher mp shot and zoom, and I was shocked. The zoom was actually really good, and looked so much better than the stock camera apps. I love this app so much, and by the ratings, most people agree with me that this is a amazing app..Version: 1.5

Amazing appsTrès grande qualité d'application. Le mode hdr est simplement parfait. Je recommande 12/10!!.Version: 1.3.2

So far, so good!I just started taking pictures with this app and I’m loving it so far so!.Version: 1.8.2

Some excellenceOh dear- I think I need a manual. Why isn't there a manual with pretty much every single app?! Someone mentioned a better focus with a left to right wobble on a mode and I need reminders. Another referred to "smoky & horsey(??)" effects of HDR- I love that for landscapes at dusk. Mountains with a white tracing around… imagine forests, tall grass prairies, city and townscapes… Photography, iPhonography… what a wonderful thing.Version: 1.3.6

Great! This app takes amazing pictures and I originally bought it a few weeks ago with the intention of using the front face camera, but to my dismay it wasn’t available in the app. So I wrote this and they responded and asked me to hang tight, and guess what?! Now it’s available! I can’t wait for this to be my go to selfie app. Thank you for listening!.Version: 1.5

Essential. This is a great cam. One of my go - to. Easy to use and good quality shot..Version: 1.4.2

Very nice camera appI love this app works perfectly but just wish it had raw for photo stacking..Version: 1.4.3

Just gets betterGets better with each version. Have used it for some time now. Thanks for the continued effort. - David Robinson..Version: 1.7

Significant improvement!Wish to see support of manually switching to Tele Lens camera..Version: 1.4.2

It does really workThis is a very good camera app - it is capable of breathtaking shots and does everything exactly as advertised - HDR, hi-res, low-light, etc. I have knocked one star off because it would be good if it also included a "normal" mode of working so that Hydra could then become my default camera for both normal shots as well as these specialised modes. At the moment you will still need the inbuilt Camera for normal shots..Version: 1.0

Amazing combo with iPhone X!Pros: This app is a great compliment to the iPhone X camera! i have been using it for a few days now and I’m blown away with the quality of the HDR! This is the first time i have seen an app take more than 3 pictures to make up a good HDR image. Cons: The only thing that would be cool to see this app do is have one more “light” HDR option. The normal is sometimes too strong. And the strong is so strong it’s pretty much unusable. Overall this app was worth writing about! Worth the money on your new iPhone 8/8plus and X!.Version: 1.4.1

Location ErrorMy photos show two locations--Vietnam Nam and the correct one, Mexico..Version: 1.0
