Yousician: Learn & Play Music for Positive User Reviews

The reason I cancelledI believe this app has good intention for beginners. I will tell you that videos and tutorials have good structure and take you through the right path of consistency to learn to play an instrument accurately. To learn to play an instrument is key to express yourself day in and day out through music. So, about structure, and since this a good tool to practice, I give you, guys, a thumbs-up. However... the reason I have rated this app 4-star is because it truly doesn’t make me feel like I progress. The difficulty level is questionable. There are times the app doesn’t recognize the notes I’m playing, and some songs seem to get a bit difficult to play for mere beginners, which makes me feel frustrated and stuck on the same songs for days of practice (even if you were to play that song for an intensive 30 min lesson). So no, I don’t think this app is wack, or a waste of money, don’t get me wrong. No hard feelings. But I don’t think it’s intended for beginners. I look forward to solidify my knowledge and some basics first before coming back. Later on, I would definitely give you guys a second try..Version: 4.14.0

Worth the cost ?I’ve seen posts , comments and heard reviews from people that say Yousician is too expensive , it’s not dirt cheap but I think it’s worth it . Before the covid 19 hit us I was having lessons once a week costing £10 an hour , that’s £40 a month for 4 hrs . He’s a great guy and knows a lot but you can learn a hell of a lot from Yousician for only £26pm . I generally try to get 30mins minimum a day . The difficulty can seem to progress quite fast but just take your time , enjoy it . Learning guitar is a life time lesson . Tip - buy or save up for a really nice guitar , gives you a good incentive Ps , you need a quiet room and freedom from kids to be able to practice. Playing outside doesn’t work aswell.Version: 4.8.0

Problem picking up notesYousician has been really good in the short time I’ve used it as a relative beginner. I love that you still can access the lessons without paying for premium, just for a limited time. I have a recurring problem, however, that it says I’ve played wrong notes during songs quite often even though I know I’m strumming the right note. For example it could need me to play string one fret 3 three times in a row in a song, and it will correctly pick up the first and last note but say I played the one in the middle wrong, even though nothing’s changed about my playing. I normally just have to ignore some of what the app’s telling me in instances where I know I played something correctly, it’s quite annoying though..Version: 4.37.0

Great coordination platformWhat a great way to learn coordination and songs at the same time I'm a self taught guitarist that only just starting to pick it up again to teach my son this platform is going to help him along his way and it's fun as well cheers guys but I do think the price is a little steep seeing that without the guitar hero type vibe you's have got going on you can source all of this music for free off the Internet I think if you had a price set for say the same as your annual charge for unlimited use for your life time you'd get far more people signing up and make more money that's the only thing I'm not happy with about the program cheers..Version: 2.42.1

SkepticI was a musician before downloading this app & I’m not gonna lie after the ads that I kept seeing I thought it was going to be so cringe but something compelled me to download it & I’ve actually been really enjoying it. Do recommend.Version: 3.9.0

This app helps in more ways than one! Before Yousician, people have tried to teach me the basics of playing the guitar and made it sound more difficult that it is. Yousician makes it easier to learn as each lesson is easy to understand and the app is easy to use. Plus there’s no pressure of playing in front of someone and feel like you’re getting judged. But this app has helped in more ways than one because anytime I feel anxiety or feel an episode coming on, I just put Yousician on, pick up my guitar and then play my favourite songs. It always distracts me from my anxiety and it works every time. For me, it’s best non medicinal treatment for anxiety!.Version: 3.0.0

Hear me outThe only reason I put it as full stars is because hopefully this’ll get seen by other people. I was trying at the for 2 years and I couldn’t pass the beginner stage. I was playing the correct chords strumming and fretting the way they taught me but each time I would play it in a song the microphone wouldn’t pick up what I’m playing. You would think it’s the device I’m using? Wrong I used simply guitar and it taught me way better and gave me actual feedback to what I’m playing, Unlike Yousician which will say each time I get a chord wrong or don’t play it correctly it’ll simply say: “Play the Chord” . Overall this app only has old country songs and no new songs that have been released since 2020..Version: 4.45.0

Awesome awesome awesome.I really really like Yousician because I’m able to redevelop my old skills. It has so many different options so I can not only learn to multitask but also to sight read which is what I really wanted to get out of the app. It is annoying being reminded about premium over and over again but I understand why they do it. If you want to learn a new instrument and then also learn to sight read, this is definitely the app for you..Version: 2.47.1

YousicianYousician is a great app and you learn all about guitar if you sign up it also has great eat songs to play to😎😎.Version: 4.51.0

Buy itFantastic app , doesn’t explain everything for a complete beginner, I. Finger placement etc , but wow this is a great way to learn some basic piano, buy the premium it’s worth every penny one problem I’ve had is getting it to recognise my account on other devices I logged in with apple and now cannot get any other apple device to recognise my account . But each day I feel I’ve achieved something I try to play for an hour each day , and now my left hand is working different from my right and it’sbeginning to happen . The other little nigle is warm up I always press the half hour warm up and only get about five mins.Version: 4.34.0

Maybe try thisI like this app a lot! But my problem with this is you have to pay to continue. Maybe remove this feature :D.Version: 4.46.0

Loving YousicianI'm quite methodical and Yousician is really helping me to learn guitar faster than when I was doing it on my own. It's fun and challenging but it's also really easy to follow and I love getting the certificates for completing tasks. I'm just using the free version and the ads can get annoying. I can't afford the full version, it's just too much at $179 a year. I reckon if they made it cheaper, loads more people would buy and they'd end up with just as much dosh..Version: 2.39.1

Buy it you won’t be disappointedFirst thing is thanks to the app developers for making an old man happy. I played regularly in my teens and was self taught from books when I was kid so this puts things on a whole other level. Easy to follow steps and and original songs that are not there for you to impress your mates they are exercises to help you gain memory of the fret board. Don’t worry if you don’t like the songs being taught just see it as an exercise for your hand memory. I quickly moved through levels 1,2,3 and 4 as I had basic knowledge but picked up so much from doing the entry level stuff first. I bought the premium version and paid £50 for Black Friday deal so that is just 2 half hour lessons with a tutor! Definitely worth the money. Easy to use and an array of songs to learn. My only gripe would be if it had backing tracks. That would make it better so you could play the parts your learning to your favourite bands. The added bonus of the Metallica stuff is what made me get it. I would highly recommend.Version: 4.92.0

Best online learning experience everI’ve learnt to do a lot of things online via apps - coding, maths, languages - but nothing measures up to the experience you get on Yousician. I started by learning the Ukulele and quickly decided to cough up for the premium account. Super-expensive compared to most apps but super-cheap compared to music lessons. I’m now just finishing the bass guitar lessons but will continue using the app for new songs and to improve my technique. Why so good? Carefully sequenced so that you can slowly progress, experiencing success each day. The feedback on whether each note is correct is immediate and you can practice songs as fast or slow as you like. The videos are nice and short, but clear. The songs in the lessons are a mixture of new ones written by them and familiar songs. They soundtracks are recorded nicely so that you sound great when you play along with them..Version: 4.6.0

Not badI would say this is real good...BUT (There is always that pesky “but”) Sometimes only sometimes, it just doesn’t hear you even though you’re playing loud and clear so it marks it as red. 😢 all I am saying is that I would recommend if you could edit the app so we can hear you clearer than what it is now. I microphone seems okay and I did not change it to disabled so I reckon that maybe the app has the problem. Other than this case I think it is. It has help me with my ukulele so much and I have learnt a lot much more than my friends at the very least! The instrument that I was playing was the ukulele..Version: 2.55.0

Yes, it costs money. Yes, it’s worth it. If you go the lead guitar pathEdit: Had to take a star off of this. If you’re doing the lead guitar path it’s great. Lots of fun and you feel like you’re making good progress. Not the case for rhythm guitar. Trying to nail gold stars with the crappy chord-detection is infuriating. When you nail a chord and it says you missed it, you’ll eventually want to chuck your iPad across the room. Old review: I don’t get people rating this app one star because of the subscription fee. Yes, you have to pay for it. But holy cow, the amount of content is actually a steal. Annual sub gives you access to guitar, bass, piano, vocals and even freaking ukulele! I’ve been messing around with guitar since 1989 but thanks to Yousician I’m actually practicing daily and my picking speed and accuracy is finally getting to where I always wanted it to be. I highly recommend it. And it is WAY cheaper than paying for weekly lessons. As good? Debatable. But if you’re on a budget this is a great way to have fun while practicing and to get into a regular cadence of playing..Version: 4.14.0

Love this app to bitsI wanted to learn guitar, and tried out various options. I vacillated but found myself consistently coming back to Yousician. I thought about why and realised that it was balance. It has video lessons like many other apps, but also it listens to your play and tempo to provide instant feedback, and the gamification makes it fun. It’s not a gimmick. It’s a learning system that gets to the heart of how people enjoy improving their skills. Anyway, after signing up on premium+ plan, I had these other instruments that I wasn’t interested. But heck, I fired up the bass and singing app, just for kicks. Now I also own a bass (and am loving it) and blasting out the songs with my voice to boot. Absolutely loving this system. Highly recommended..Version: 3.10.0

The best way to learn at your paceI’ve wanted to learn the guitar for pretty much all of my adult life. I’ve tried multiple methods with no success. Yousician starts from the very beginning where I needed to, and does not assume anything. I’m not good. I have to run through the practices multiple times and slow it way down, and set it to automatically speed up as I improve. I’ve committed to practicing every day - a time I call ‘my daily frustration’. Which is what this is made for! People who can’t just pick up an instrument and suddenly know how to play it. People who maybe don’t have that ‘artistic’ brain and need things broken down, and what to practice, step-by-step to build upon. Just follow the bouncing ball. Did this app suddenly endow me with amazing talent? No. Is it helping me to work through my frustration and learn something that is difficult for me? Heck yes. Highly recommend for anyone who has almost given up because it’s not as easy for you as it seems to be for everyone else..Version: 4.21.1

Soooo good! This app i super helpful with anything you need or want to learn as it allows you to change your course at anytime! This app is super easy to learn from as the different courses are broken down so you understand and if you don't understand then they will keep you on that level until you are ready ti move forward! There is just one thing though, you can sign up for a free account and thats great but 1. You loose access to most songs on the app 2. You only get limited time for each lesson. And if you sign up for a vip account you get full access to everything on the app and get unlimited lesson time but it is quite pricy!.Version: 4.19.0

Very helpfulReally really useful for learning to play the guitar, I’m picking it up very quickly with only doing 10 or so minutes a day.Version: 3.2.0

Loving it! - Just a bit glitchy at timesIt’s been an amazing month going from not knowing the correct way to even hold a guitar to knowing enough chords to play the chords of many of my favourite songs. I love that the app integrates with my headphones and tells me when I’m doing things wrong. The only thing I have to fault is the startup time. Every time I use the app it crashes 3-4 times before it actually lets me practice. This can sometimes take upwards of 10 minutes to troubleshoot which is frustrating but once I figure out how to stop that happening I will be sold forever!.Version: 3.9.0

I wishI wish it had more time to play and the tuner is detecting the wrong string but overall amazing you should definitely download:).Version: 4.34.0

FANTASTIC!!!🤩🤩🤩This app boosts my improvement in playing guitar with no online payment and i definitely recommend this app if you want music to be in your heart.Version: 4.11.3

Pretty good needs improvementHi there I’m learning the ukelele and guitar on your app and it really annoys me if i mess a note up. I wish the app would wait for me so i could play it right and didn’t have to play the same song over and over again. It’s sooooooo annoying. So the other day i tested out your singing part of the app but I’m not sure how to change it to a soprano. I will give it 5 stars this app tho because it has taught me some useful things and it is good to use during my free time. I have a lot now because of lockdown and i finish my schoolwork reasonably quickly. The app is pretty good but sometimes i scream at it and want to smash the iPad. 5 stars.Version: 4.41.0

It’s really good but...This app is amazing, I’ve seen so many other apps, and they are all nothing compared to this! I’ve started to learn the ukulele and I’m only 11! It’s so easy and I’m already on level 5! Eeeekkkk, although there is one thing that I think could be better about this app. You can buy premium on this app, it’s quite expensive! I can’t get it, but all of my favourite songs are premium :(. Anyway, I love this app, and really, I call it a game. Try it out, learn to play instruments, or it can even teach you how to sing! All for free, apart from if you want to buy premium. You only get 10 minutes a day. There is a sale on now, so hurry up and install, Yousician today!!!! I need to go play, byeeeee! :).Version: 4.5.1

Great app for learning to play an instrumentI have played guitar for a few years, and can play a few songs, but I wanted something to improve my timing and understanding. This app is perfect, I'm now playing more bass than guitar, and am really enjoying it. I have been using a free account for guitar and keyboards, and that suffices. I've just finished the course on bass using a paid account, and am moving on to the weekly challenges. I would recommend this to anybody that wants to improve their playing, or start from the beginning. In my opinion, this app doesn't take the place of a tutor, but can be used alongside lessons, or a good way to get the basics, and improve technique. All round, I can't fault it. Great work..Version: 2.39.1

A newbie is happyI don't know why there are so many one-star reviews. This is a fun app that teaches you and keeps you practicing, which is exactly what you need..Version: 2.32.0

Code: YoswayThe app is good but it’s just little expensive for some people. They should lower the cost price. That’s all. Also, use code: Yosway in the Fortnite item shop #ad. (It will triple ur Edit speed 100% confirmed).Version: 4.13.1

A really good "learn guitar" appThis app works well. It does what it says on the can and teaches guitar interactively. It can be a little difficult to set up you system, which is more a function of guitars, iRigs etc. and is not really a fault of the app. Supports acoustic with any extra extra gear, you do need a reasonable mic on your PC or an iPad etc. Try for free, and if you like buy the full version, it'll be money well spent (especially compared to guitar lessons!)..Version: 3.10.0

Good just a few problemsThis app in general is so good. There’s only a few little problems. When I play piano on this app, it tests me on notes and sometimes the microphone doesn’t work and I get really annoyed. And the other problem is the premium. I really want to get the premium but it’s 160 dollars per year (around there) and some people just can’t afford that. I know you’re trying to get money and all but I think for some people it’s too much and you should lower the price or have another choice for each week or month. If you don’t have premium, you can only practice 10 minutes each day (at least for piano).Other than those problems, it’s a really fun app. Update: okay it’s been a while and the microphone works better now but there’s one major MAJOR problem. It deleted all my progress! I’m restarting everything and I’m really annoyed. I didn’t sign out of my account or anything and it deleted my progress. I might be generous or not for giving you 3 stars. Update again: okay thank you so much for replying back to me it means a lot. I knew about the subscriptions monthly and yearly which I didn’t know you could cancel the monthly so thank you. And thank you for the new content. I will definitely change my rating..Version: 3.12.1

I like butI like the app but it does have trouble hearing my electric guitar speaker and and keeps telling me to plug in. Have tried to sort so I ignore it now. But the lessons are well structured..Version: 3.19.1

AMAZING!!!I absolutely love this app, last year I decided I wanted to learn Guitar and Ukulele, at first it gets pretty hard but now I can play a variety of songs with proper technique. There are even different courses by other people, to get more tips and tricks. If you are super serious about the instrument you are playing then I 100% recommend Yousician Premium (which I have and it is amazing). Thanks for reading xx.Version: 4.51.0

Love this appOnly wish i could pay monthly ..a year is too much at once... so im still using the free version.Version: 2.33.2

It’s so GOOD! But there is one thing...I simply LOVE this app. Learning the guitar is so much easier with this app! However there is one thing that just doesn’t get it to 5 stars. The app requires premium which you need to buy to get unlimited lessons. That’s fine but then nearly all the songs are premium! I can’t play any of my favourite songs and I’m limited to the one’s I’m given to which isn’t a lot. I would defiantly recommend this app to other beginners however I would like it if Yousician could change the limitation to people without premium. Like adding more songs. I know there is a free trial for about 2 weeks, but it’s ONLY for 2 weeks or something a and then you have to pay. And it’s REALLY expensive! I mean I know they have to make money so how off of this app but can you please drop the price a little down? It’d be helpful and surely more people would get it. Overall, this app is amazing and way more helpful than any other apps I’ve tried. I would strongly recommend this app to any other people who are wanting to use an instrument! I love this app!!!!.Version: 3.14.0

Beginners opinionHighly recommend. The app is awesome I’m only level one and have already learnt all of the basics in terms of chords Melodie’s rifts bars etc they have a great catalogue of songs to learn as well. There’s just so many great features, I would highly recommend, especially for beginners.!.Version: 4.76.0

Not enough session time😡.Version: 4.21.1

For anyone who wants to play and learn songs on pianoI love Yousician! When i started using it I already knew the basics of piano but it teaches you if you don’t know how to play at all. You can play the lessons (if you don’t pay for premium each lesson is 10 minutes) and they guide you from a beginner to be able to play amazing songs really well! There is nearly every song possible to learn and the practice mode is really cool. I love the way you can use your own piano and the app recognises the notes. It’s really helped me learn more about piano and I love all the new songs I can play! 5 stars!!,.Version: 2.42.1

More famous songs and sound problemsI ended up being forced to buy premium because it was difficult to learn on only a half hour a day the songs are good but mabey include some newer songs Also the app keeps saying it can’t hear me I am playing electric guitar with amp and it is almost full blast yet the app still can’t here me I play in a quiet room I do love this app but pls fix the sound problems.Version: 4.44.0

GREAT APP FOR LEARNING BASS, but…This is a GREAT app for learning bass guitar. I absolutely love it. The instructors are great (I also took some guitar and piano in the app; a true plus is you can learn other instruments for the same price), and the opportunity to play with music tracks of various styles is awesome. With the bass, it’s particularly important to hear music behind you and to play along. I’ve literally had hours of enjoyment. For sheer joy of playing, I can’t recommend this app more. However, I did struggle to play outside the app. There’s no information about how bass players play along with or adapt chord charts; no info about scales or improvising with them (which is what bass players commonly do); no info or training at all on reading standard tab and applying it to a song. So while I LOVE playing with the app and the way it teaches instruments, I wish it would cover this other important info. I’d also love way more jazz tracks and less metal, in a perfect world. But you won’t regret the money you spend. I’ve never learned an instrument so fast in my life..Version: 4.44.0

Great for beginnersThis app is teaching me how to play the bass guitar and if I do say so myself, I’m coming along great! It definitely does what it advertises. The fact that Yousician not only teaches me how to play, but I’m gaining physical knowledge on the actual guitar. It’s almost as if I were getting real life guitar lessons!! It is user friendly, efficient, prompt, and accurate. Couldn’t be more pleased with an app that does all that Yousician does, that’s FOR SURE! It makes it to where I enjoy the lessons. The free trial is great too because it allows the students to check out the app and see if it suits them or not. Everyone is different so, the fact that you can try Yousician absolutely free is super neat! One last thing that I have to mention; whoever thought of the “daily goal” idea when producing this app was absolutely marvelous! I think that was so cool and inspiring! I go over the daily goal of course, 😉 but when I first saw that, I thought it was awesome! So kudos on that detail. So all in all, this app is simply and purely genius. Thank you very much! After my free trial is up, I will be purchasing whatever needs purchasing. In a few weeks I’ll be able to rock out with my boyfriend and his band mates!.Version: 2.62.1

My bass guitar teacher, yousician!Tbh, I was meaning to cancel after 7day trial but I forgot to cancel and I was charged $179 for a year. But, Im really enjoying the songs (e.g. Dream on and Zombie) and love the game like system which make the sesh more fun and engaging. Love how it has a tuner feature, too! Also, I wouldve had to pay $60ph for an actual guitar lesson so I think it’s not that expensive. What’s more, I can try the piano, ukulele and singing as well! My friend covered his ears when I was trying singing practices so I think I will stick to the bass guitar only for now. Keep it up! Xx.Version: 4.91.0

Great app but...Yousician has been an awesome app. Ive been using the app to learn both guitar and ukulele the past few weeks and have progressed fairly quickly, but not without some frustrations. Frequently the app has trouble distinguishing me from its own background track, and will fail me on a song that I am playing correctly. This forces me to go back and play the song again, usually an extra 3 or 4 times, before it will pick up enough of my playing to allow me to move on with the lesson. I also wish it would teach you a few more songs that I could play outside of the app. I have gotten through several levels on both instruments and have not really learned any songs on either. Playing along with the music during the lesson works well enough, but when you’re done with your lesson the app pretty much locks down everything, including the songs you’ve already unlocked, unless you have premium. This is new since the update, and I wish it would go back! I understand not being able to access new content outside your allotted 10/15 minutes without paying, but without being able to practice what you’ve already started working on, it really slows down progress..Version: 2.48.1

Amazing!Did you like guitar hero? Did you ever want to actually play a musical instrument but never knew where to start? Get Yousician! Now, my only beef with this is that I wasn’t aware that I’d be paying for the entire thing up front. I thought I’d do monthly payments and stop if I didn’t like it. Maybe I didn’t check a box or something. Anyway I have it now and love it. Will I renew it in a years time? Probably. But $180ish is a lot to pay every year for an app. Yet, I’m sure they update stuff constantly so moneys probably worth it. All in all a great, fun, easy to follow app that’ll get you learneding..Version: 2.62.1

You won’t regret it!I love this app! I get super bored of it everything but this app has kept my attention for weeks now and I look forward to playing it every day. I love the lesson paths, they’re easy to follow and I love how the app motivates you to keep playing with challenges and rewards. Your fingers will hurt but it’s so engaging you actually push on through! Unlike other teaching tools I’ve tried..Version: 2.60.0

Don’t InstallThe only reason that I’m giving this app 5 stars is so then I can say this and for all of you to see it easily: This app makes you rage when you accidentally play the wrong chord or fret and never gives you a second chance!! I used this app for a bit and it’s always asking you to pay for premium! I highly recommend to all people think of installing this app just don’t bother if you don’t like to be ripped off! 15 minutes of lesson time a day, REALLY!! We could all use just a little bit more of free lesson time! Just don’t install it unless you like a cheap rip-off.Version: 4.19.0

Great program. Ripped me off for a full year subThe app is great. I signed up for a month. Cancelled this am before the end of the month because I didn’t want to forget(was possible gonna renew later but want gonna have much time next month). With more than a week left on my rx- I sign in and the app makes it appear that I can’t utilize the non-free material because I’ve cancelled but gives me the option to “renew”. I thought that this was very annoying but figured I’d renew then use the rest of my paid month and cancel before the end of the week. The renew option gave no hint that it would do anything other than continue what id already purchased and certainly made no suggestion that by hitting this button that I’d be upgrading to a full year subscription... some thing I’d never even considered. Very misleading. I would approach the makers personally if the site didn’t give you the dead end of “you need to approach iTunes” which then gives an immediate “you don’t qualify for a refund”. I’m not a troll.... not a complainer... and I’m not an idiot. I’ll pay and enjoy the program for a year... but this was a trap. Just posting to hopefully prevent someone else from falling into it..Version: 3.20.1

Great for people who can’t get a guitarI love this app! So I live in a small country town and I can’t get a teacher. So my guitar was sitting around and I was on and off playing it. I used other guitar apps in the past but they were only cord ones and didn’t give you lessons. So when I downloaded guitar tuna I got the ad of this, Yousician. It helped a lot and got me to be more persistent and determined to play the instrument. I also like how u can do the practice mode with different speeds and the rang of songs. I just love it and the effort you put into it shows like the homemade songs. One of them (conquer the galaxy) is my favourite and it seems to be a real song. Love it it seems like your actually playing with someone in the room!.Version: 4.15.0

AmazingI really wanted to learn the piano, so I downloaded simply piano, that didn’t turn out though since the app didn’t mention anything about paying 🥺, so I searched for piano apps, and when I found this one it was perfect! I could even learn singing to so I could do both, and this time it gave me the Choice to play a free song instead, Thank you so much..Version: 4.35.0

AMAZINGThe quality is amazing you learn lots and lots and lots I love I wouldn't be at this stage that I'm at now I recommend you get it..Version: 3.2.0

Awesome!!This is such a great way to learn an instrument with interest and motivation. I love this app! But I wish more of the songs were available for those with out premium..Version: 2.56.1

Good tool for practiceI’m already a working musician (rhythm guitar and bass in a couple of bands), so I came to Yousician to work specifically on lead guitar skills it’s been easy to neglect. On that, it has delivered; I’m a more confident soloist than I was a year ago, with more techniques in my repertoire. This wasn’t a goal, but I’m also more comfortable playing against a click track. Bonus! A few quibbles: The app doesn’t seem to judge the quality of notes—I’ve gotten a “Perfect” for clams that I would never accept in a recording session. Some of the fingerings seem a little off, more commonly in the assigned finger than in the fret/string. I’ve occasionally gotten stuck in what feels like an endless practice loop of the same song: I think I’m done with it, and then it’s there the next time I open the app, and it must be passed before I can move on to anything else. And the synthy-ness of the arrangements can be a little annoying (though it’s probably a necessary evil to accommodate the tempo shifts). Still, this does what it says it does, and the structure really does make you practice more. I’m not sure I would make this (or any app) my only approach to learning an instrument, but it’s a great supplement..Version: 2.62.1

Life changer.... ❤️ ✨I got this app yesterday and it’s already changing my life. I’m starting to understand singing a lot better. This also gives lessons for other instruments, too, so i’m assuming that the lessons for learning the instruments are just as amazing as the singing lessons. Why do people spend all this money for other singing lessons when they can just get Yousician for free? I have a dream of becoming a singer when I grow up (I’m 10 years old so), and this is really helping me get on track. I was very lost at singing and after a few lessons in this app I feel more secure with singing. They include songs, workouts, and missions & lessons in this app and it’s amazing! They also included plenty of details for singing. I only have like 2 or 3 lessons done, I know, I’ve done barely any but I feel like this app is super good. There’s only one thing about this app that I kind of don’t like but I do understand why they did it. My complaint is how most of the songs they have to offer are for Premium+. I understand that they need money but still. 🤗 Anyway I love this app PLEASE DOWNLOAD!! 😌.Version: 4.18.0

It’s good but badDear creators this is an amazing app good 💡 idea but every time I play the lowest string and fret three it doesn’t work or many it’s cuz I’m doing it wrong enyway I’m only nine and this app has helped me as well as my brother next I’m thinking about cebord what do you think I give it a 5 star bu5 my brother had to teach me what frets are because the iPad wouldn’t help all it would do was say play fret three in the lowest cord thanks stay awsome🥺🤩🤪🥳😋🤐🙄😲.Version: 3.13.0

It's GREATIt works sooooooo well. I've learned so much. Thanks so much😜!.Version: 2.32.0

Worth the money pays for itself in 3 lessonsI am a veteran musician (not a guitarist) I am a vocalist but I always had a guitar laying around, picked it up and learned a few chords but that’s it. Now in my 40’s I decided to pick up guitar a get serious. I know it’s late in life but thought it would be a great hobby away from my normal music and singing career. So I am now on week 2 of the premium version and I love it. I’ve had my guitar in my hands more in 2 weeks than the last 30yrs. I started at the very beginning to be sure not to miss a lesson, trick, or nuance, something I might have rushed or overlooked in the past. I am now at my level, comfort, challenges and knowledge where I left off years ago. I definitely have gotten better with all 3 levels “lead, knowledge and rhythm”. This app is fun and addicting. It keeps you motivated and interested in learning. Definitely worth the money it paid for itself 100 times over in the last 2 weeks compared to the cost of what a real teacher would’ve cost including the time, traveling, gas etc. I’ve tried a few guitar apps and this one is by far the most fun and a lot less frustrating than the others. Can’t wait to learn more. I’ll write another review in 3 months. 🤘💀🤘.Version: 2.40.1

Love it, only problem is a small bug that can be fixedI truly love this app, I only use the free version. It is fun and easy to use and is very much like a game. The reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because there seems to be a bug that doesn’t always give me my whole lesson and has definitely not been 10 minutes. I practice all of the instruments except base so I’m unsure if the bug happens after I change instruments or just in general but for me at least it’s when I change over. Apart from that the app is amazing.Version: 4.13.1

Best way to learn guitar but there is one thing…This app is amazing and easy to learn guitar but there is one thing. I know that the people that made this app are trying to encourage people to get this app but you have to pay for the free trial. I can only play for the first part of the free lesson I can’t play the real thing. And I can’t play any of the songs with out pay and I can’t pay any of my favourite song. I am have a great time to learn some of it but I can’t use this app I have to use a different app. And the part where the man talks us through it feels like it takes to long. And them two thing just doesn’t make it to five stars so I have to rate it four star. Bye.Version: 4.50.0

Good but...This app is really good and i am enjoying it a lot. However, i can only have one lesson a day (for each instrument i want to learn) without having to pay huge amounts of money. I do understand that money has to be made, but I’m sure if the price was lowered a bit, more people would buy premium, I’m sure. Another issue is that i am forever having to watch adverts to get premium. Also, and i think many people would agree, only 10 minute lessons time a day on the free version is not in any way enough to learn much. On the other hand, getting instant feedback is very helpful. The exercises and lessons are great. Most of this app is very well thought through and i WOULD recommend it. Thank you..Version: 4.13.1

Amazing butThis app is amazing but for the people who have to have the normal one when we don’t have to pay, could you make our time a little bit longer please? Other that it’s amazing definitely recommend it! 😊.Version: 4.37.0

Love the appI think Yousician is amazing and it really helps. The first week I learned a song and I was really good at it we i think I was😁. This app well most definitely help you improve in anything like the guitar and it also can help you to sing which I really needed help with😂 I was actually excited to go on Yousician because at the same time it feels like your playing a game. If you want to get better at what you are learning I most definitely recommend this app.Version: 2.48.1

I love this app😍OK soi wanted to learn piano 🎹 money. But it’s different you don’t have to pay money I mean if you want to it’s $30 per month but who want to do that. Instead you can play along with any instrument do you have and it will give you free time to play and once the free times over you try tomorrow. This way you can learn so much, they even did you singing there’s one instrument you can’t plan that, drums. It will ask you for money now and then but you can just refuse. That’s why I give it a five star. Currently in this app I am learning singing and piano, it is so very helpful. It’s helpful when you’re just a nine-year-old and it’s vacation and you have nothing to do.(I am a nine year old) back in my home I took piano classes and didn’t exactly work out because I didn’t know what to do, and he tried so hard I mean I tried hard but I couldn’t understand anything to years later here in America I told him many apps piano apps and ask me for money so I had to delete them but Yousician is different I love it. I know it asks for money but you can just refuse. My mom doesn’t have a car so I can’t go to any classes with this app I can learn anything on the piano sitting at home. In Conclusion this is a great app..Version: 3.24.0

Definitely recommend to othersNot only is it free, but it covers everything you need to know about the guitar. A must if you need to learn the guitar..Version: 2.34.2

Good for a semi-beginner for Learning Music TheoryI started learning guitar about 6 months ago. Rocksmith 2014 caught my eye on steam so I got a cheap beginner guitar kit and started learning. I’ve been playing on and off with Rocksmith 2014 and online videos but I’ve since hit a wall. Rocksmith has tutorial videos but they’re not very in depth and skim over some of the technique topics. Starting from scratch with yousician has allowed me to find (and mostly fix) some bad habits. Also some of the songs are really fun to learn to play. The bass and piano courses seem pretty good too but I haven’t really gone too far with those yet. I’ll be continuing with yousician+ after the trial ends..Version: 4.70.0

Makes learning fun!I got my first ukulele while on a cruise to Hawaii. They had fun classes onboard taught by a Hawaiian ambassador. He was such a neat fun guy and had me loving the ukulele. When I got home I wanted to learn more and found this app. This app is fun, easy to understand and has kept me loving my uke. I play daily at least 30 mins using this app. My dad uses it as well with his uke. It’s fun to see how we are progressing on our playing skills. I like how you can practice a song and slow down the tempo. I tend to start at 75% speed to kinda learn the song, cords or fretting. Then I move up in increments of 10% until I feel ready to preform the song in the actual lesson. One thing I’d suggest when using the app. Use earbuds. Sometimes if you have the app too loud it has issues hearing your instrument, if you are a soft player. Earbuds or the like, are perfect as you can clearly hear the lesson and your instrument. As for the price for premium... I think it’s very reasonable. Lessons taught in person would cost much more. Plus this app offers lessons for guitar, bass, ukulele and piano! A great bang for your buck, I’d say. Long story short, if you want to learn to play... I highly recommend this fun app..Version: 2.37.2

Love it, needs some improvement... 4 1/2 starsThis app is the best ever! I love its learning experience and how they motivate you. Although this is my favorite app, I’m disappointed for a few reasons. First, the “need headphones” issue almost all other reviews are talking about is a big one. Using headphones really isn’t a big deal! However, if you don’t have any, the app just will NOT work. The fact that it picks up the noise that the app is making itself is a bad issue. Next, the new update. This one is partly my fault, but still. I clicked onto the app to take a lesson, and it told me to update the app. I wanted to do it, and so I tried to, only to discover my storage was full. May I note that I still had 4 1/2 empty GB. Anyway, I got back into the app to take a lesson and clear up space later and I clicked on the X in the corner. It was a fake X. Now I have to clear up lots of storage for 20 minutes (my tablet takes forever to clear fpr some reason), and in the meantime I just cannot take a guitar lesson. These are some issues, and please clear them. This is still one of my fav apps! Sorry for the long review... bye! Edit: The update thing is less of an issue now, however the fact that you can’t use until updating us SUUUUPERR frustrating. Like, can I just learn guitar BEFORE updating?.Version: 4.17.1

Fantastic daily practice toolI started playing the guitar 15 years ago, learned to play a bunch of songs while I was taking lessons at school but never really grasped theories of composition and improvisation. After a few years’ lapse in playing, I have come back with a new energy - largely thanks to Yousician! It’s been great so far even just for letting me know how much I do actually know, and what areas need improvement. It’s been awesome for working on my ability to play in time, to sight-read tabs and as a daily practice tool for getting used to scale shapes and training my ears. So I’d recommend Yousician to anybody at all - but especially those like me who need a bit of guidance to get out of a rut. Set yourself some goals, and start practicing TODAY! :).Version: 2.53.0

Super fair price imoThe app is great! Looks good, easy to follow, great instruction, really great follow up support, it does seem like a big price to pay at first until you factor in that lessons are $32/ week cad for 30 min sessions ( where I am) so the $16/ month or so seems like a drop in the bucket! I like that is sends me weekly progress reports and daily congratulations when I hit my goal! I’m still brand new at guitar but I’m seeing progress and can see the Value in this app! 10/10 would recommend if you were thinking about learning how to play :).Version: 4.20.1

I love this app!I recently got this app to learn how to play piano and I absolutely love it! In the videos the girl/guy explains it really well and it’s really simple so it’s easy to understand, I also like that there is a practice mode where I can slow down the song in places I can’t get right! After a week on this app I ended up getting premium because 20 minutes a day was not enough for me. There are so many songs and I love that I’m always learning new ones. I think it was an excellent idea to add certificates because it keeps me motivated to finish the level that I’m on. I would definitely recommend getting this ap.Version: 3.11.0

AmazingYou learn SOO much so fast and after 10 minutes of useing this i already learned 3 songs! Would recommend.Version: 3.8.0

I absolutely love this app!I have the subscription for the guitar. When I first downloaded the app it had some glitches but since the latest update I don’t have any complaints and even when it glitched (the sound wouldn’t play at times usually if the lesson was stopped due to other activity on my phone) if I exited the app and came back it was fine. I only have praise for Yousician! This app has sooo many different helpful components. From video and lessons to songs and challenges (against other users) to charts and emails that encourage you and track your progress. All the video lessons are extremely easy to comprehend and the layout makes it extremely easy to navigate. It is super addictive!!! There are several times Ive been totally sucked in spending hours glued to the app trying to perfect a lesson to rack up gold stars. I promise you the money is beyond worth it! You cannot beat the convenience of going at your pace practicing at any time for as long as you like! There are 3 sections (knowledge, rhythm, and lead). I have completed knowledge and I’m on the 3rd level of rhythm. I love the progressive levels. Rhythm and lead each have 10 levels and knowledge has 5. The gradual build from one lesson to another is pretty much flawless. I’m definitely going to write a review when I’m finished with all 3 sections. This app is my blessing!.Version: 2.44.0

ReviewGlad there is no ads and the free versions is great but instead of buying premium to gets good song I like try making me watch an ad or two, your still making money. And with premium obviously no ads..Version: 3.10.0

Free trialAfter feeling motivated to continue playing I finally caved in and went for the 2 week free trial and I am absolutely loving every minute of it. The songs, the ability to play with both hands and read musical notes, learning the correct name for things. I’m learning so quickly and in my own time, I’m seriously considering paying for the annual sunbscription if I continue to enjoy this app without problems. I read where someone was charged subscription, however I was given a confirmation email showing that my subscription was cancelled but I could still continue to enjoy the two week freebie. However I may change this once my subscription ends as I’m loving this app so much thanks to all the people who created it..Version: 3.10.0

I am no longer “treading water”.I was trying to be a self taught beginner and I was starting to lose interest in learning guitar. Yousician has reinvigorated me and made learning interesting and fun. I have just started and I am enjoying the lessons and playing along with tunes and songs. Learning sequentially, getting feedback and enjoying the process is motivating. Thoroughly recommend this app..Version: 4.44.0

WorksLove learning the guitar with Yousician!.Version: 2.35.1

Thank you - love this appI’ve been wanting to play the guitar for years, and I finally feel I’m getting somewhere. Having an app which helps you work out how accurately you are playing, allows you to work up to speed and forces you to play each piece through to the end has got me to a point where I am so much more fluid in my chord changes and can see my playing developing and improving. No, the music isn’t always to my taste (or my husbands :0) ), but I can see how each one strengthens the skills I’m supposed to be learning. Seeing my playing time each week encourages me to keep practising and I am loving it! I’ve recommended it to anyone who’ll listen - thank you! Kate.Version: 3.1.0

Best app for learning how to play music!!I am really enjoying this app and I truly appreciate all the effort that was made for delivering such great tool for learning instruments! I am studying ukulele and never played instrumentals before Yousician! Great interface, much to choose from, I never get tired from tasks as you can choose your day's path depending on your mood- learn new songs / gain all gold stars for previous tasks / participate in challenges .. And so much motivation coming through to my mailbox and push-ups, that are very informative and engaging! Totally recommend to those wanting to get new great hobby and learn play instrumental in an easy game-like way! Thank you a lot Yousicians! Great job! Q - is there any ability to use the app online? I often go camping and would love to continue studying outdoor. And I live in New Zealand and Internet here costs heaps!! Please add offline tools 🙏🙏🙏.Version: 2.47.1

Amazing appI’m loving it so far. I’ve never picked up an instrument in my life, and your programme is making it easy. My interaction with your help Center was great. I wish there was other payment options. Is monthly..Version: 2.60.0

Great guitar learning appThis app is very useful to learn lead, rhythm and some theory. Great for practice, easy to use and addictive. If you are plateauing from books or face to face lessons its definitely worth a try. Whilst pricey I think it will be cheaper than a years lessons... and you can use it as often as you want. Also try Rocksmith. Another great learning tool on computer/PlayStation. But I do think Yousician is beating Rocksmith for my learning development..Version: 3.1.0

Awesome!!!Yousician is a really easy and quick way to learn music! I love the fact that you can take different courses of learning on one instrument and I also find it really cool that you can get reminders for lessons. Yousician is also really good because it’s not one of those apps where you can barely learn anything without premium. Of course there is limitations if you don’t have the premium version but you can still get a great lesson without it!!! Zoe xoxo.Version: 3.2.0

Second timeI’ve used Yousician briefly a few years ago and enjoyed the speed that it’s progresses. I stopped as my life became to busy to get 10 minutes to play. My fingers have gone soft but I’m back and loving the app once again. I got half way through level 4 on my first try and need a little refresh before continuing but apart from a little muscle memory I’m ok and can still keep up with most of the lessons and songs covered up to level 4. I’m not going to stop this time as I love the app and think it’s super great value for the price. Anyone who is thinking of playing an instrument and it’s covered in this app then use it, it’s great. The only little issue I have is that it would be really helpful to have scales made to print and a little bit more video help with maybe the odd song on the level played so we can hear how it should be played. Keep up the hard work Yousician I love it..Version: 4.31.0

Amazing!!!!Perfect for anyone who wants to learn at their own pace and be in control of their learning instead of wasting money on lessons. Lessons are good for some people but not everybody learns the same so this app would help..Version: 2.39.1

So so enjoyable and helpfulI can’t recommend Yousician enough. I remember when Rock Band came out I kept saying I wish someone would make something like this where you actually learn and...here it is! I’ve been playing about a year and first, it’s SO fun. Secondly, I am learning so quickly. I do ten minutes a day but usually end up puttering another 10. The people who make this app have put so much thought, care and love into the layout and lessons. I really can’t recommend enough. I have premium bc I thought I’d like to play the famous songs but actually I find I enjoy the ones yousician has a lot more - they are usually not more than two minutes or so and are very carefully composed and calibrated to help you work on really specific things and help you progress. Also a lot of them are some of my favorite tunes now - playing in the park! I still pay for premium thought bc this is a service worth paying for. You will find yourself looking forward to having a few empty moments in your day so you can mess around. Looking forward to what they keep coming up with and THANKS for making such a great app. I would like more instructional videos on exact finger placement and strumming - I think I tug a lot of my strings around and don’t know how to stop..Version: 3.2.0

An excellent music learning platformI started to use Yousician almost 2 years ago. No prior experience in guitar. For about a year this was my primary practice base and over the last year, although I am using other learning material, I have often come back to Yousician to continue my progression. This app is relatively expensive but takes you almost 3/4 of the way when compared to what you would learn from a good music teacher. Where you still need to look elsewhere is improving your technique. Overall I am very happy and recommend it to all serious music enthusiasts who do not have access to or cannot afford a music teacher. Well done to Yousician team..Version: 2.54.1

It’s good but isn’t worth paying forIt’s really good for learning etc, but I wouldn’t buy it. This is because it’s only an aider in playing the uke and not teaching you wholly. The lessons are a kind of one-and-done thing (although you can repeat them) and it sort of assumes you understand everything. It can also go from being really easy, strumming one cord to having to quickly switch between 2, which is quite jarring, especially for a beginner - it’d make a lot more sense to have slow switches instead of frantically trying to find the right finger placement. I have given up on whole lessons because I can’t keep up with the exercises. It’s overall a great app, and i recommend getting it highly, but don’t use it as your only tool in learning..Version: 4.9.0

Awesome.. until you get to level 4It love the app, both lectures and practice sessions. After 1-2 days of rehearsing any song I could get at least 3 silver stars, often - 3 golden stars.. until I got to level 4. There a teacher tells you that you can “double your picking speed by picking up and down”… and then they literally throw you under the bus, all the practice sessions on level 4 expect you to start playing twice faster just after watching a 3-minute lesson! And I miserably failed to get even a single star in ANY of the songs they offer at level 4 after few days of trying. Extremely frustrating, I regret paying for 1 year subscription as I this app is pretty useless once you get to level 4 UPDATE: after two weeks of practicing, I finally earned 3 silver stars and learning further songs is not that frustrating. Please fix the start of level 4 by adding 2-3 songs with gradually increasing complexity.Version: 4.43.1

Amazing even without premium!I’m too poor to afford the premium let alone the premium plus but this app is amazing! Even with the free section I get 10 minute lessons a day and that’s all I’ve needed to teach myself 10+ songs within the first two days along with learning tabs off google. I play my 10 free minutes every night to keep learning! I’ve had my ukulele sitting on my floor tried picking it up before with just google and it was too hard! This app I can’t recommend enough!.Version: 2.60.0

Few issuesI’m loving this app! It’s helping me progress with my ukulele so well! The only issue is, the lesson time will run out whenever it wants to. For example, on Monday, it let me have a 26 minute lesson, on Tuesday it let me have 13 minute lesson, on Wednesday it let me have a 15 minute lesson and today I was only allowed to play for 11 minutes. I’ve tried everything but nothing is seeming to work. Please fix this feature as I think this app is superb otherwise. The patchy time lesson lengths are really frustrating as I want to have an hour lesson, but I just can’t. Please fix this :(.Version: 2.56.1

Good, but could do with improvementHello, I absolutely love playing the ukulele, and learning how to get better at playing. I would recommend this app to any new ukulele players, or anyone who wants to learn guitar, bass, or vocals; however the app could be improved by letting us go back if we’ve pressed “new to -insert instrument-“ by accident so that we can learn more at our skill level, or have a test at the beginning so that we can be put into lessons for their skill group. Thanks, Potato :))).Version: 3.20.1

AWESOMEI learnt most of the guitar from this app I loved it so much at first I spent 30 minutes but then it turned 4 hours! I love this app! Download it!.Version: 2.44.0

Wonderful and free part is enoughWe love this app, my 7 & 9 yo sons were given a guitar and quickly discovered Yousician. Signed up for the 3 day free trial with me very scared that I’d be forced to pay money at the end for them to carry on. I got very confused but in fact the free lessons are plenty. Although I would happily pay a one off fee to support the app we don’t need to go premium at the moment. My only quibble is that the boys have discovered they can create songs but I’d be quite happy for that to be premium only or limited - not sure it’s quite so worthwhile. But a great app thank you - even got me (a 41 yo mum) learning! I also love the fact that the only ads are for you - in app ads are the worst for kids pestering!.Version: 2.32.0

TerribleYou can only play for like 5 minutes until it blocks the entire thing and tells you to pay for premium. I am giving it 5 stars you can all see this..Version: 4.43.1

Rating YousicianI think that Yousician is a great app for many different people to learn many different instruments and new ways to play. Myself personally is using Yousician to learn how to play the acoustic. Yousician has showed me many new ways and techniques to play the acoustic. All around Yousician is a really great app and if they are new to playing the instruments they have they should download Yousician because it helped me and it will help you as well.Version: 2.56.1

Good but please fix one thing. When I am doing the trainer review and you have to hit the notes and try and get as many right in the time period. Well, so often I hit the note but it doesn’t hear it correctly. Everything looks good on the screen but it makes me do it again. I end up just strumming the same note, without moving my fingers, over and over and eventually it accepts it. So I waste a lot of time and always get a poor score. It is always exactly the same note 5 seconds later as I originally strummed. Please if this bug. I have only just got a brand new phone so am sure it isn’t the mic..Version: 4.21.1

AmazingI have played ukulele for about 4 years and I got this app just to try it. It is AMAZING! You don’t need premium for this app because all that does is unlimited lessons and well known songs, but they do give you songs. There is a limit of lessons per day but it’s a good amount for a small lesson. For beginning an instrument I think this is a good idea, but the reason it isn’t 5 stars is because I think premium is over priced and I think my music teacher is cheaper. Real music teachers you can ask questions if you need help so I guess the app could have a ask section to help you with songs because some people could get frustrated. I also think it could improve if you put what skill level you are (or how long you’ve been playing) otherwise it’s just boring doing things that you have already done years before, but I think this app is definitely worth getting as it is well set up and helpful. Recommend 👍.Version: 3.23.0

AmazingThis app taught me everything I needed to learn about guitar.Version: 2.32.0

Like Guitar Hero with a Real GuitarI love it! So easy and fun. I took the 7 day trial. I’ve been playing for more than 2 hours a day. Almost addictive. Only down side, I wish we could play offline...Version: 4.14.0

YousicianThis is an incredible app, perfect for beginners. I’ve only tried the acoustic guitar chord section as I’ve tried with a real teacher but I wasn’t getting as much out of it as I hoped. I was scrolling through App Store and came across the yousician. I downloaded it straight away and it’s really really helped my chords. Although, the only reason I’ve given this a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because there’s a free version and a paid version. Paid version, incredible value, totally worth it. Free version, songs you’ve never heard of and limited lesson time. I don’t mind the limited songs but I would love to see more lesson time for us people with the free version. I absolutely love your app, it’s been a great help and I recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn and instrument..Version: 4.0.1

Good and badIt’s good, and I like it a lot, but this app doesn’t teach us how to read notes, so whenever I go to guitar class I always get really confused about notes on the page and I don’t know how to read sheet music so I would really like it if this app could teach us sheet music! Thx 🙂.Version: 4.13.1

Great but some stuff does not workThe app is great for the learning of instruments but he one problem i keep on getting is that the time recording is not accurate for example yesterday i know i played for about an hour but the app says I’ve only been playing for 24 minutes and that is really enraging so please fix.Version: 4.13.1

Pretty Great! 4.5 for meGuitar has proved to be a lot harder than any instrument I’ve tried so far, so it was really neccessary for me to have a game plan and track to follow. I love the certificates that you can opt to email to yourself, its super cute and makes you feel real proud. I also love how it has lessons on understanding the music and notes itself. I think tgats often overlooked but very important. I would 100% reccomend the pro version if you can, it makes learning a lot more enjoyable without annoying ads and playing original songs ratger than yousician ones. The only complaints i have is that I think that we should be able to skip certain certain lessons or songs. Some are just too hard :/ and I’d rather be able to keep practicing other skills then come back to this. Another complaint I have, I think that it’d make the app even better if you had the chords and notes to more popular songs that we could choose to play similar to the challenges or guitar tabs. Also it would be amazing if we had song library where we can practice our favorite songs we’ve played throughout the lessons. But overall its a pretty great app..Version: 4.11.3

Very GoodI am just starting to learn to play the guitar and this app is helping me loads. The tutorials are simple and the guy explains it very well in each video. The scoring system motivates you to better yourself which makes it addictive until your fingers start to hurt. There is just a couple of things that I would like to see altered slightly. The first thing is sometimes the next lesson is a lot harder than the previous one. For example I have been going through the strumming lessons and I am on “Cowboy Chords 3:G” and going from “Livewire” to “Simple Man (in AM)” is extremely hard (probably just me though) because you go from 2 chord simple strumming up and down to 3 chords strumming up and down with a fast tempo song with hardly any time for chord changes. I know you can slow it down in practice mode but I find it does not help with strumming because the strumming needs to be practiced at normal speed (down up down up) but it just needs a slightly bigger gap between chord changes. Not sure if that can be addressed, or just an extra couple of lessons in the middle to help build up to that one. The second point is, I think it would be good if practice mode was included in my Daily Time Goal. Because sometimes I practice so much that I am actually playing for about an hour before my 30 mins as been reached. Hope that all makes sense. Other than that it is a very good app. Thank you.Version: 3.6.1

ExcellentFrom my experience using a midi keyboard with the application as been excellent, it’s made learning piano really enjoyable, you get immediate feedback on your playing, especially for timing which when I had piano lessons years ago seemed to be lacking, I did start with knowledge and past experience, so I don’t know how it would be for someone with no music lesson experience, there is certainly stuff for the very beginner, also the first few lessons I worked through quickly and so I got a very immediate sense of improvement that has motivated me more later on knowing that I will see an improvement if I put in the time. The easiest way for this application to work is via midi/usb which is how I’m using it, it is also suppose to be able take audio input, I don’t have any experience with that so I don’t know how well it works like that, but you can try it out for free before you pay. I found a very minor bug with it, but nothing serious and does affect your actual playing, the indicators about how on time you are could be a little clear, use colour to show how too early or too late you are would be nice..Version: 2.48.1

Awesome! I can read & play music now after 25 yearsSeriously, as a self taught musician, I can play piano, guitar, mandolin & Ukelele chords by ear, give me a song, any song I can find the chords and play it, but put a sheet of music in front of me and I'm a baby, can't read or play it, UNTIL NOW. Thank you Youisian, you've taken that darkness and stress away from my love of music, even though I'm only just starting out with this program, I'm already understanding the notes I'm looking at, that's never happened before and I worked in the music industry for over 25 years, even went to a couple of piano teachers with no results. Can't wait to start learning my other instruments all over again. 👍👍👍👍👍.Version: 2.62.1

Love the app, but prices are ridiculousI really liked this game tbh, I wanted to play the guitar and thanks to this app I could learn frets and chords smoothly, I like everything in this game..... except for the prices for premium and premium+ because of expensive and ridiculous prices and $43 for just a month and it also limits your time to 10 mins when I want to learn for nearly an hour or longer, other than that great game; also Maybe make the time limit longer..Version: 4.2.0

I like it but there’s something you need to fixI really enjoy learning from Yousician. I’m learning to play the piano at the moment. I learned from my friends and I know a lot of notes and a few songs but I want to learn the basics and try and get really good. One thing I don’t really like though is the premium thing. Like I get that people have to make a profit so you do this premium program but not everyone has the time and money to learn this. I feel like Yousician got more attention if you’d let aspiring piano players (or any instrument) learn faster and for free. Shouldn’t everyone has access to the beauty of music? I have a friend who’s been learning piano for 7 years from her teacher but she has to pay about 100 or something per lesson. So i’d much rather learn from Yousician but I can’t learn as fast and as efficiently as I’d like to because of this silly program. Maybe if you made people pay money for something else in the app like idk maybe to unlock a song you need a certain amount of points and if you don’t have enough you can pay to unlock it. Something like that. I just think that if you made it free that you’d get a lot more attention :) but that’s my opinion. I just hope you agree with me, and thanks if you read this whole thing by the way.Version: 2.35.1

Great but with one errorThis is a great app to download to learn guitar, it has great lessons and many songs to play. But for some reason, when I play something as it wants it doesn’t count it as correct, can you fix that. Other than that it is a great app..Version: 4.58.0

Great funYousician has rekindled my love for the guitar, 20 years after I last played it. In just a few weeks I’m a better player than I ever was. I wish this app had been around 20 years ago!.Version: 2.50.0

Love itI’ve only just started using this app but I love it. I struggled to learn when I was younger but something about the colours just clicks in my brain and now my guitar that’s sat dormant for 20 years is now finally getting used. I’d love to pay for a subscription but can’t afford to pay annually and I can’t pay monthly as I live in New Zealand. That probably the only down side for me. If I could pay monthly I’d totally do it!.Version: 2.40.1

A musician's finest instrumentI was gonna write a fancy review but this app is too good for words. definite buy. good job yousician. congration on being good app 10/10. I use it everyday and my skills have actually gotten twice as good in the past 3 days. I can play without looking at the neck or frets, and I now know some really cool bass lines. This app does have a premium version, but the free version has a 30 minute lesson complete with everything you get in the premium..Version: 2.39.1

Spams my emailI deleted this app because it kept spamming my email I only gave it five stars so you guys could see this. I would actually give it one star..Version: 4.37.0

Fantastic Way of learning instruments!I use Yousician everyday because it’s just amazing how it teaches you to play instruments! It’s simple and even tho they charge you money it’s still worth it! I play guitar and I’ve learned a lot over the past few weeks. I highly recommend this app to help your kids learning guitar instead of paying hundreds of dollars for music lessons..Version: 4.3.0

Don’t put a price on knowledgeI love this app I just started playing acoustic guitar and I have learned a lot but there is one problem you don’t get lessons easy time you want there’s a certain amount of lessons you can do in a day and that is really annoying cause some people don’t want to spend $27 dollars a month to learn how to play an instrument education should be free because you can’t put a price on knowledge and you guys are really being unfair to the people who don’t spend money on apps like me and I really want to learn how to play this instrument but you guys are giving me the restriction of learning. Fix this please this is something that other people would agree on. And maybe if you don’t stop doing this I have an idea that might make people happy cut your price in half or maybe more and then people would do that because people hate things that cost a lot of money. And they might tell their friends and family about this app. Please do this not just for me but for other people who would agree with me..Version: 4.0.1

Blessed With This AppWe all know lessons can be expensive in reality. Ranging from as little as $20 to $60 PER lesson, and that’s just for beginners. So how does a blossoming musician learn without being robbed of their money and having to GO TO the lesson, and only able to practice what the trainers assign or what you can find online. To me, that doesn’t sound very convenient. The answer is simple- YOUSICIAN! They walk you through everything, giving you personalized lessons and feedback. There’s such a wide variety of songs, you can almost always find what you’re looking for! I play the guitar, and for as little as $9.99 a month, I’m able to work around my own schedule, not someone else’s to be able to learn the guitar more effectively. I can even tell the app how much time I have for the lesson, and they work with that. Again, this is an inexpensive, convenient, efficient, and effective way to learn your dream instrument. This app works for the busiest people to the people who want to spend all their time learning, and 1 lesson per week isnt cutting it. Don’t spend over a hundred dollars a month on lessons, when you have Yousician right in front of you! 👌🏻Yousician is a blessing!!!.Version: 2.39.1

Stay TunedJust started on guitar.... after 20years since my last try this app is great. I now have my head on the neck and it’s actually no fret!!! This site is awwwsummmm..... cheers for all your hard work on this site. I practice workouts and trainers for bout an hour each day or more but I’m not pushing myself. Just playing until a certain moment in time, then I practice the first song I’m learning, APACHE by The Shadows. I’m on acoustic but it will be a most perfect rendition, I’m giving myself a year to learn it. Cheers YOUSICIAN.... you guys rock!!! Don’t forget....stay tuned!!!.Version: 4.16.0

Love it!but only 1 requestI enjoy the app, and playing the guitar, it has taught me much more than I anticipated and the app is worth more than I imagined. My only complaint is that sometimes, I would play a chord wrong, and I wouldn’t know what went wrong (power chords are where I struggle), I wonder if you could make a system where it could tell me specific bits I’m doing wrong and what I can do to improve, if possible. Then the app would be much better than it already is..Version: 2.57.0

Amazing for beginners! After trial and error with many other apps, I decided to try Yousician. I was playing acoustic guitar at that point, and I learnt more in my first week of using this app than I did in a month trying to teach myself with other apps. It’s great for those who don’t have a lot of money to splash on subscriptions, too- while there is a premium option, the free content is more than enough to teach you the fundamentals. I’m now playing bass guitar, and it was easy to switch to that path within the app, and while I’m mostly teaching myself through other means now, Yousician is still my go-to when I need to get the hang of something tricky or tune my bass- the in-app tuner is also great, for both acoustic and bass guitars. I would 100 % recommend this app for beginner players, especially those who don’t have enough money to pay for subscriptions..Version: 4.15.0

Honestly a great app, despite the subscription feeI just started using this yesterday but I already love it. It has a great in-app tuner, great lessons, a scoring system and playing each song seriously makes it feel like a video game. If you can fork out a little bit for the subscription, I’d say it’s worth it. Pricing really isn’t that bad tbh and they have some good plans. Do recommend..Version: 4.49.0

Great app for learning a variety of instrumentsI used the free version of Yousician for a while then decided to buy the full package. My daughter uses piano and voice, I use guitar. It took me a little while to get the hang of navigating the guitar component, but it’s been very useful and my playing has really improved. The tutorials are easy to understand and I love this app’s ability to listen to me playing and provide real time feedback on whether I’m playing the correct notes and cords. I also love being able to adjust the speed of the song I’m playing as well as the option to display the note letters I’m playing . This is so important as a beginner and no other app can do that. I’ve used a few guitar apps and this is the best one. The only limits are the song selection and that’s more a licensing agreement. In Australia we are limited but if you use a VPN and disguise your location you can access more songs..Version: 4.37.0

MehIts ok but it can be really frustrating when they don’t explain what I have to do....Version: 3.8.0

Amazing app! Just a small suggestion...This app is truly amazing! There is I think five different instruments you can choose from, and you can do all at once if you’d like. There is singing, guitar, piano, bass, and ukulele. I use singing and guitar and piano. They all work extremely well, and after a couple days of practice I am already getting better! And I did not get the premium. My cousin did though and she is WAY better at the guitar now! One thing I do suggest for the guitar is you use headphones because it picks up other sounds easily sometimes. There is something that is kinda annoying. I was going to do the monthly premium thing, but it every month. It’d be great if there was something I could do to buy it for only one month. I just want to pay for a single month because I do t have enough money for every month all the time. But it isn’t a big deal because I still am learning at a very fast rate! Highly recommend!!!.Version: 4.3.0

I’ve started to play a guitar!A great app which will actually get you playing without having to pay. As a 49 yr old female without any musical gift (whatsoever) I have started playing the acoustic guitar. I’m a sloooooowwww learner which is very frustrating but I’ve unlocked levels to get to know the basics; which is very much my standard of understanding right now. Lots of activities to exercise your fingers and your musical memory plus options for challenges. If you require a schedule to keep you motivated you can modify these in the app settings so have a go. Works on all platforms so there’s no hiding..Version: 3.10.0

An amazing way to learn (100% honest review)Now I don't usually bother with writing reviews BUT this has to be said.... Coming home and hearing "under the bridge" by red hot chilly peppers being played by my 10 year old son is a super proud dad moment. My son had tried a few different guitar teachers, but unfortunately none of them he clicked with. Travelling upto an hour for an hour lesson took some time out of the day and with little results. Now my son comes home, jumps on his guitar for a half hour class on Yousician... sometimes he is so into it he just keeps playing without a thought of time. Its so easy that I even have a play with him sometimes.... the money I was spending on trying to get him a teacher was more expensive than the year premium subscription and the results speak for themselves... so much so that a few of his friends parents have asked me where my boy is learning and I have recommended Yousician and "everyone" is happy! I would recommend this to any parent or even an adult as its easy to follow and so cool! I could literally go on with how happy I am with this.... but I'll just say 1 last thing, "Want to learn an instrument and have fun.... Yousician all they way!".Version: 3.15.0

GreatIt's great and it has really helped me.Version: 2.32.0

Tuner not recognizingI just started with this app. In the tuner thingy, it can’t recognize my string. It says that my string 4 is my string 5. I don’t know what to do as this is my first day with guitar. Please help me 🙏.Version: 4.43.1

Used to be reasonableThe price of this app has increased to over 200 a year!! Are you kidding? It’s an app! Good content but still, I’m not using this anymore because of the steep price.Version: 3.8.0

I love this appI’ve tried teaching myself and I’ve tried taking lessons in person but I always found that I would get burned out on the material I had to practice or the instructor would be moving too fast. I’ve had the app for 3 days and I’ve already played for 12hrs lol (I have a broken foot and don’t have anything else to do). I can honestly say I’ve never enjoyed learning this much. There is plenty of songs to practice and you’re moving at your own pace with instant feedback, which is unparalleled. I will say the chords feedback is pretty forgiving, I will muck it up pretty bad and still pull off a “perfect”. I’ve been wanting to learn how to play the guitar for years but have given up many times, with this app I have no doubt that I can become at competent at least. The price is steep but if you look around at private lessons and compare, it’s a steal (shhh don’t tell the developers). If the developers are reading, thanks for giving me the opportunity to finally learn how to play an instrument..Version: 4.54.0

Great toolIt's very well put together and I've noticed quick improvements in my playing by doing a quick daily lesson. It doesn't help with musical sheets as it's very Guitar Hero like but my rhythm, plucking and chords still get better. Full version would be an insta-buy but the monthly membership is too high for my taste..Version: 2.41.1

It’s a good app, but there are a few issues.I can never find an app where I can learn my guitar at home without premium trying to fit me to buy things. This is no exception yes, it allows you to learn but only for about 3 lessons then you have locks on it saying you have to buy premium to learn. I get it, you want people to pay you but as a 13 year old, I don’t have the money to and I’m not going to ask my parents for a subscription, I find it unfair that it seems that you either pay to learn, or you don’t learn. It’s also unfair that there are hardly any songs you can play without having to pay. This is a good app though, better than the ones I’ve previously used, I’m not here to slag you off. Overall, I have progressed phenomenally since I first played and it’s great how you walk us through everything and keep the videos short and snappy. I just think that premium should be optional not a two way choice. :).Version: 4.46.0

Absolutely Amazing!I have learnt more on this in a week than I probably would have in a month. Great for building speed and many other things..Version: 2.37.2

PayingOkay, so I’m an 11 year old girl who wants to play the guitar but unfortunately I don’t have the money to pay and neither does my mum. I like how you have a certain amount of time to play without paying but it only seems to be 13-20 ish minutes. 😕 really gutted and if I were to pay £50 pounds for 3 months that’s £16 ponds per month. Now I get the fact we all need to make a living but so does me and my family we get it but it’s still quite expensive and no way my mum will pay that! 😢so If you could please help me and try to make it cheaper it would mean the WORLD to me. Thanks so much great app keep up the good work and most importantly keep improving x.Version: 3.6.2

BE YOUR OWN MUSIC TEACHER. ITS WORTH ITIf you are a beginner this is the way to go. Take your time with it. I think the best thing for me was admitting I didn’t know anything about what I thought I knew about piano and just jumped right into it. Self-discipline is key. Some of the work outs are challenging and you will get frustrated but that’s okay, they’re growing pains and the fact that you did yourself is dope. A teacher would probably be worse plus it’s a only $20 a month compared to $25-75 an hour and you can learn at your own pace or choose which work out or song you want to do based on your experience. In 2 months I learned how to read music and play piano and the same time. I’m no master pianist but I no longer feel intimidated when I sit down at a piano. I plan on using this piano even after I get it down packed. I may wanna learn guitar, bass, or tighten up my vocals at some point and that’s all included when you subscribe. It’s really the best app for practicing musicians.Version: 4.25.0

Good except for one thingI have been using this app for a little while now and I’ve been loving it! I enjoy how the songs aren’t too fast for beginners and you can try them over and over again. I also like practice mode, where you can slow down how fast the song goes so you can work your way up to the normal speed. The only reason I’m rating this 4 stars is because almost every time I go to start a song this message pops up with the option to try out the 7 day free trial. I understand that Yousician wants to get as many people to try or buy the Premium stuff, but I don’t want to be shown the offer 3 times during my free lesson time, and it takes away from my time as well. Point being, I’m tired of seeing the pop up message and I just want to get to my song. This happens every single day I practice. I don’t need to be shown something over and over again. The only message I will accept is the one that lets you know when you free lesson time is up, but the others are unacceptable. Thank you..Version: 3.11.0

Great app to start an instrumentI have tried to learn guitar for years without success, all the time I was a bit depressed because I cannot see results and since I have discovered this app I am completely in love. It’s really a good way to learn, the interface is amazing and really helpful. The only thing who disturbs me a bit is that sometimes when I just push a string the app doesn’t really recognize it while the good string is played and they rate me as false while is not. But it’s just a details, as long I’m progressing myself and know that I have don’t it great I’m happy! I’m going to subscribe for a premium but waiting the answer from the team for more info but I completely recommend the app :) ..Version: 4.7.1

It’s a terrible appThe music it plays on the device will muck up hearing my strings play. And everything is so expensive 50 dollars for a month it’s a rip off beginners need more held stupid app..Version: 3.15.0

Total GarbageThis app is ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR BEGINNERS. It’s a 110% waste of you money. It a great concept but, it doesn’t work. When your playing it doesn’t pick up the notes consistently or evenly enough. Sometimes it will register a note in a song and other times it will not. Sometimes it will tell you, you are early or late playing a note. Sometimes you play the same note right on Time an it will register it as being wrong. So if your a beginner on an intermediate player it hard to get good feedback on what’s really going on in terms of if you doing things right or wrong. Instead of adding more songs what they need to do fix the basics. Creating software that is dead on accurate in terms of registering every note correctly. I paid for the basic subscription and I totally regret it. I will definitely cancel it before it renews again. If they ever bother to fix this issue, then it will be just what they claim it to be the “the best way to learn guitar”. As it stands no this app is TOTAL GARBAGE. If you are a beginner it will only hold you back long term..Version: 3.13.0

For Bass…No new songs for months and months then they take away the standard music notation only displayed option. For such an expensive app they should be adding stuff not taking stuff away- or at least drop the price if you're getting less for your money. Wont be renewing unless standard music notation only display is returned. UPDATE In response to you updating the app to bring back the notation option and actually listening to your customers feedback I have revised the feedback from 1 to 4 stars (just needs more regular new bass songs and cost a bit less) Otherwise Love the app..Version: 4.88.0

Great 4 learningI’m learning guitar on this app and its more helpful that i imagined it would be the only bad thing is that i can’t play any other songs other than yousician originals even tho i’m paying per month and the only way i could is if i payed a year plan which i don’t want to its still an amazing app tho, recommend for beginners.Version: 4.47.1

Amazing & some song recommendationsHay! I’m Ella, and last year I got my first acoustic guitar, I played the free trial until it ended and I was OBSESSED! So I got into instrumental at my high school, that was when I started playing bass (guitar) and it wasn’t going well, so I re-downloaded Yousician and played the trail for bass for 3 days, I ended up getting the 3 month trial, I LOVE IT, 12 years old 3 months of getting no progress, until I downloaded it, I have had the trail for a day and already know 4 songs , I highly recommend this! Could you put some deep purple songs on here pleaseee PS I love the song yellow😍.Version: 4.6.0

TabSo I downloaded this because I'm new to the ukulele (like 5 days new). I'd had pretty good practice before downloading this (I knew how to read tab and was pretty good at quickly moving between chords) the only thing that bothers me about this is when I have to play. While the bouncy ball/track aesthetic seems like a fun way to learn, to me it's just confusing and causes me to lose track of what string the ball is going to bounce on vs. where my finger is. Is there a way to convert tests/practices to regular tab rather than a track? If not please add that in. Other than that, this has been extensively helpful. *Update* I played around with it and found something similar to what's mentioned above. But not enough. It would be much more helpful if the track at least ran vertically instead of horizontally. What would be most helpful is a page showing the individual tabs with a mini track going through the them rather than laying them on a track. I imagine that'd be a hell of a lot cheaper to animate than what you guys got now..Version: 2.34.2

Best guitar app ever👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻This is the best Guitar app ever. This is an app that everyone would use it really encourages you to play more and more. I think the thing that makes it a little hard is you have to pay 30$ per month and 250$ per year to get to practice more. I mean it is kinda okay because if you get an actual teacher it is really expensive. But if you can make it a little cheaper please do😀 And again this is the best guitar app ever😀🎸🎸.Version: 3.9.0

Acoustic guitar is kind of wonkyGreat app, having a great time with it and learning a lot. My only real negative feedback is that the note detection with an acoustic guitar can be a little off sometimes. It sometimes registers notes that you didn’t play, but even worse is when it doesn’t hear notes that you _did_ play. It does this seemingly at random, and it makes it really obnoxious when you’re trying to perfect a song. It also frequently tells me to “plug in if you’re using an electric guitar”. I’m playing in a quiet room directly next to my iPad’s microphone so it’s not like I’m far away or playing quietly. The way it senses chords can be obnoxious also. I sometimes screw up a C and get some sour or dead notes in there, but it will register them as perfectly played. However, it _loves_ to tell me I have dead notes on Am even if I don’t. Again, when you’re playing the same some for the 4th or 5th time, trying to perfect it, and you _do_ play it perfectly and it _still_ says you missed, it’s enough to make you want to smash your guitar sometimes..Version: 4.16.0

Hate the NEW interface! Please change back!!I tried the new version for several months now and I just hate it so much. In the old version you could clearly see your progress, different paths, what was coming up, scrolling vertically. Super easy and visual. Now it’s horizontal and you can only look a section of the paths with all these frickin numbers (your levels, how many lessons within each section), etc. It’s horrible. So frustrating. Actual lessons are the same and still effective, but choosing paths, seeing where you are, and feeling any kind of accomplishment is Gone. You could study their paragraphs and paragraphs of instruction in their FAQ section to figure out how to use this new version but before it was so intuitive! Please bring back the old or give us a choice! I am sure you are going to give me your bot response of how change can be hard and that I will grow to love it. I am giving honest feedback- I tried it and hate it and so do many other paying customers. Listen to your users!.Version: 4.27.1

Really really goodI’ve had a guitar for years but never really taken learning to play seriously, Yousician is making me get it out every day & spend some time practising now. Really easy to follow & progresses just at the right pace as you improve, & that’s only on the free demo version, thinking I will upgrade to the premium version pretty soon..Version: 2.36.1

New does not equal improvedThe new lessons are from Metallica. I am not a fan. If they had continued the 10, 20, 30 minute guided lesson - still available on the piano app. There is still a lot of material for me to work from on the "learn" tab - in "missions" and "workouts." I liked the guided lesson because it helped me to keep up practice on things I already learned and it fit the time I had to give it. I am an adult re-learner of guitar and I started using Yousician about three years ago with the free version and signed up for the full version a year and a half ago. I created an Excel chart to keep track of "workouts: skill builders." This is helpful because Yousician has introduced me to chords and skills I didn't know existed. My goal is to be able to join my church worship band so I wish you had some contemporary Christian music for me to work on. I have used the singing app and would give it three stars because there are very few pieces for the first soprano range AND, especially AND, there is no option for standard notation!!!! I like to sing old Broadway music - My Fair Lady; Carousel; The King and I, Phantom of the Opera (Christine's and Carlotta's parts}, etc..Version: 4.64.0

Great app! Few minor tweaksThere seems to be some issue with logging in when starting up. I kept getting logged out and a couple times had to restart all progress from scratch because it didn’t save onto my account for some reason. Also, when learning the guitar, the “chord checker” trainings are WAY too strict in my opinion. One string will be only slightly not ringing out, but otherwise the chord sounds good and it won’t let me move on. That level of strictness is good for if I’m supposed to play x number of chords exactly right to move on. But when it requires a lot of chords to be played in a short amount of time and it will only accept them if each one is absolutely entirely technically perfect it’s way too difficult for a beginner. I keep getting stuck on those lessons for hours and not able to get past which is super frustrating. I know for an advanced player changing chords quickly and accurately is crucial. But as a beginner I just want confirmation that I’m doing it at lost almost totally right so I can keep learning, then I can go back and fine tune and perfect..Version: 2.60.0

This is the best!OMG I have wanted to play guitar for 2 years now and now I can actually play it! I have had this app for 3 days and it has literally changed my life in so many ways and all of them are good ways! It can teach you in a short amount of time I have already done 6 exercises and I think I’m ready to join a competition please get this app it is amazing and I give it 5 stars no duh! I love this app and feel like it’s perfect for anyone who needs to either let the music hold your sad and depressing feelings (me) and also people who want to start a hobbie or career I feel like the people who made this picked the right one to make, they could have chose a lot of other things but they chose music the thing that lifts people up and gives them hope when they are down music is apart of us and we wouldn’t be able to be kind and amazing people we are today without it so get Yousician the best music teacher you’ll ever have! And remember music will guid you through your way to happiness so the shorter you download it the better you will feel. Music is love..Version: 3.13.0

It's really good, but honestly too much money.I am addicted to this app and I really like it because I have experience playing the violin so it's really cool to learn how to play a different instrument that fits all genres. My only issue is that after one day of playing I wake eagerly trying to play this and then it says that I used up all my free time from YESTERDAY and it wouldn't let me pay. My dad recommended me the app but he also said that it sort of steals your money. Yousician please, please, please make us try to pay monthly or weekly not daily..Version: 4.26.0
