Star Wars™: KOTOR II for Positive User Reviews

ClassicThis game is a classic, so happy to see both on the App Store now..Version: 2.0.1

Not great if you didn’t play the first time it was outGood enough for a replay, but is not 100%. Significant bits are missing and can’t be accomplished. But is pretty decent and better than it being lost completely. Now it’s on Switch it would be interesting to see which one is better..Version: 2.0.2

Good game just wish it had some featuresI’ve finished this game and I did finish it as soon as it came out on iOS but I wish that their were achievements for certain things like if you finish the game and beat Kreia then you can start a new game with cheats on letting you add whatever you want from the game into your inventory or when you beat Sion or nilus you can start the new game wearing their armor if you complete the game with at least 75% dark side you at level 20 get the force ability of force sabers or at 75% light you at level 20 get world knowledge or if you finish at complete gray Jedi or Sith then you get at Korriban or a hidden chest on Dantooine you get a light side or dark side of Revan’s armor or lightsabers. That was a lot and I just want something new o the game because I’ve just gotten bored of the repetitive story with the same items.Version: 2.0.2

Awesome!!!!The game is amazing on my iPad and really brings back the memories! Also as a note to anyone looking to buy this, you are able to install the extended content mod on iOS for this version through iTunes...totally worth the effort.Version: 2.0.1

Love this gameThis game is amazing I have played it before on the original Xbox and it is one of the best Star Wars game ever. The one thing they need to fix is that whenever T3-M4 talks it skips the dialogue but overall it is a very good game and it deserves a 5 star (I’m not very good at reviewing stuff so I hope this was okay to people that may be looking at this).Version: 2.0.1

EpicI think I enjoyed Revan’s story more, but this is epic too. So much fun, so many hours of entertainment on my iPad! (iPad Pro 10.5” 2014. Pro tip: you may need to limit refresh rate in settings under accessibility, motion to 60hz. Game works great at 120 in one iPad not so great in another. First game locked up at 120 every time).Version: 2.0.2

Classic gameMany people have said there are problems with sound effects on this game. I have noticed this a few times, but I’ve found that reloading a previous saved game or moving to a new location will fix this. Love having this classic game on my iPhone..Version: 2.0.1

Simply incredible.Faultless..Version: 2.0.1

The best game on mobileThis game despite having been released over a decade ago still remains incredible Even in the mobile port it functions just as well as the pc version with less bugs.Version: 2.0.2

Great game all in all....So I must say, I’ve been waiting for this game for a very long time. The copies I played on the original XBOX had a bug to where the game wouldn’t proceed. It would get stuck on a certain loading screen. Luckily that’s been fixed on this port. This game has been loads of fun to play. I would say the only downside is the wonky controls. A digital Joystick or maybe left side of the screen for movement and right side of the screen for looking/turning would be much better. Rather than that, it’s still a fun game..Version: 2.0.1

Games amazing but 1 or 2 bugI love this game and the 1st perfect games in my opinion gameplay and story are perfect but had a bit of problem with the sound not working some times but I’ve got to a point where everything I try leave the ship I just get a black screen and nothing else happens so I can’t leave the ship so I at a point of restarting and I’m pretty far in so I would of lost a lot of time so I’m just hoping for an update please please fix this problem.Version: 2.0.1

BugSo far this game is one of my all time favourites!!! The only problem is a glitch when talking to the madalorion when leaving the sith temple. After talking to him, the game crashes and won’t let you move past that point. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!.Version: 2.0.1

Fantastic game, irritating bugsI absolutely adore this game. it’s characters and writing are incredible, the world builds on the first game whilst being given more depth. unfortunately i have an issue where every so often the sound effects cut out. the music and dialogue still play but there are zero sound effects. would love to see a fix for this.Version: 2.0.1

Awesome!!!Thanks Aspyr! I’ve been wanting this game since KOTOR 1 came out on iOS!!! Very happy it’s finally here and it looks awesome and plays great!.Version: 2.0.1

Amazing!I have to say, waking up one day to see my favorite game of all time come to mobile was amazing. Even more so actually playing it. It runs great for me, I do have a bug with sound effects but I’m sure they’ll fix that before long. Now the next thing I need to figure out is if they added the RCM content in the game or not, I’m assuming not and really hope they will or give us an option/way to install it. I’d also like an option for cheats, I’ve played this game dozens of times so having a little fun with an OP character wouldn’t be too bad. Well, just having more speech would be great! 😂.Version: 2.0.1

It’s great butThey should have just included the restored content mod but otherwise it’s great and have played 3 play throughs it’s still a great port.Version: 2.0.2

AmazingThank you so much for adding the sequel!! So far so good. I enjoyed the first one so much.Version: 2.0.1

Good gameAlready finish this game and got to level 50 quick. would be more cool if we had the restore content. Overall it was fun..Version: 2.0.1

Great Game with A Small downsideThis game is great. So glad that it’s finally on the mobile store. But the one thing that actually hurts me and makes me get mad, is the camera controls/movement for Swoop racing, shooting from the Ebon Hawk, or anything that isn’t actually your character. The moment is horrible on them. And half the time in the races, the speed pads don’t register and work to speed you up, leaving you to always lose. Along with the fact that the movement while racing is jagged and just not as good as a console/PC version of this game. Other than that, I’ll be spending many hours on this game. Hopefully working to slowly... and calmly, beating the races..Version: 2.0.1

Top tier w/ room for improvementGreat port to mobile. Have loved this series for the longest time, remember playing it on original Xbox. My only ask, find a way to pay the devs and give an optional install for the steam restored content mod. Fixing dialog options with HK47, the telos conservation area, etc.. Observations: - when you select a force power (heal, speed, etc) and use it, after portaling into the next area, the menu resets at the top. Would be great to be able to keep it on last selected item (or an option to enable it). True of all cutscene fights too, super tedious when trying to force speed out of somewhere like cantina on telos or using any guide/speeder - controls for swoop races, would be great for input sensitivity changes. Feels a little sluggish and the jump button could be bigger - if no restored content mod, quest dismissal for some of the bugged ones? 😄 - option to enable double tap for dialog? Sometimes trying to select remains or spin the camera results in a funny endless talking to someone loop - Fun bug in doing echani training with handmaiden, if you equip a weapon right as it loads you kill her for real. Try to leave the ebon hawk and her companion image is blank and says “I’m broken. I’m so sorry.” Good spot for an achievement or easter egg Thanks to all. Great game ❤️.Version: 2.0.2

So happyThank you so much for making this game for iOS next suggestion would be swtor on iOS which will be awesome.Version: 2.0.1

I waited sooooo long for this game!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!Thank you thank you thank you!!! You made my NEW YEAR!!!.Version: 2.0.1

Five star failure!!Who wants to spend all this money and time on something just for a bug that doesn’t allow you to get off of Telos and finish the game. Never will I ever purchased another game like this and I hope nobody else does either because it is robbery to charge that much for this many bugs.!!! After boarding the ebon hawk for the first time at the telos Jedi training facility, the game glitches and will not allow the player to leave the ebon hawk or activate star map. On the way to the cockpit, the game will glitch and you can see through walls and the cockpit will not fully load showing clear signs of glitching. If you save the game and reload the game, it will put you back into the game as a random white skinned Jedi, with a blue light saber and a dark skinned portrait of a woman. The game will let you save before you enter the ebon hawk for the first time at the Jedi training facility on Telos without glitching, but once you enter the ebon hawk and it cuts to the scenes once you’re on the ebon Hawk, the game will not allow you to do anything. I have taken screenshots to prove it because I really don’t want to quit this game but I will because I have spent money on it just for it to mess up like this..Version: 2.0.2

Amazing game and better than the originalWhen I heard this game was coming to iPad, saved up my money and I was not disappointed. Overall I think it’s better than the original game and darker which I love. I can’t believe that a game this good was made in 2004. I don’t mind the graphics, their actually better than expected. If I notice any errors or glitches I will change the review. Also when starting the game Jedi sentinel is the best character.Version: 2.0.1

Can’t listen to music when playingI can live with bugs, just like we did back when the game was released so I will again now. What annoys me, as petty as it may seem, is that I can’t listen to podcasts or music when I’m playing through on my iPhone. The port of the original KOTOR let you play background audio but this won’t, unless I’m missing something. That’s my 50p’s worth anyway..Version: 2.0.2

Amazing!Great continuation of the KOTOR porting. Amazing game and now easier than ever to play..Version: 2.0.1

OMG!!! It’s finally on iOSI’ve been waiting a long time to see KOTOR2 come to iOS after buying KOTOR many years ago. As a fan of the original releases, I’m looking forward to re experiencing the KOTOR saga at my fingertips. KOTOR was a great port to iSO, so my expectations for the port of KOTOR2 are high..Version: 2.0.1

Ducking amazingThis game is the best space rpg I’ve played since Star Wars The Old Republic. I haven’t beaten the first one yet since I’m stuck on Taris. Playing the path of the dark side is so well done. It took me 30+ hours to beat this game. Mostly looking for quest items. Romancing Visas Marr and causing the woman in white to fight with her was awesome. The pilot-smuggler is a classic piece of Star Wars. All the while, Kreia is planning to betray you yet you kill her anyway. Watching the exile go from fair toned and human to sickly pale with yellow eyes is an astounding process that I didn’t notice until I was on Onderon. Too bad it’s unfinished. There is a mod on PC however that restores most cut content. Overall, Obsidian deserves better with what happened to KOTOR III. The trilogy must be completed..Version: 2.0.2

I’ve been waiting for this for so longThe nostalgia is real. I loved the original one, so happy that KOTOR II is finally here!.Version: 2.0.1

Restore content and bugsFirst of all, thank Aspyr Media for releasing this game on iOS platform. It enables people to play on different platforms and will reach a wider gamers and spread influences, given how philosophical this game is. I have several concerns. First, we really want to see it integrated with TSL Restored Content Mod, as the game itself is largely incomplete on story. Second, there are some bugs such as not gaining experience on Peragus turret fight, and I cannot install HK-47’s special module as the dialogue was not triggered even after I bought the module..Version: 2.0.1

Great gameI have been waiting for the port of the sequel since KotOR 1 was released on IOS seven years ago..Version: 2.0.1

BugsSo I haven’t played this in a long time but when you fight master kavar and kill the queen it kicks me out of the game.Version: 2.0.2

Crashed or bugged or something corrupted.About the second or third time I played the game it started behaving weird. I can’t trigger the narshaddah red eclipse and stuff disappears. I have been all over everything in the game and came back from three planets. The entire visas thing and all of the quests on narshaddah. Still no red eclipse. Quello appears twice and that’s it. Have to reinstall it a second time and hope it works. It works fine the first time you play. After two games and a reinstall it’s crashing or not continually getting anywhere..Version: 2.0.2

Almost perfect portWonderful job! Just finished a 40+ hour playthrough. The only major issues is I had 3-4 straight up crashes, and a bug that came up just a little too often where certain sound effects (melee, running, force powers) would disappear until I restarted the game. Nothing that should prevent a purchase. The only thing that made me a little sad is the loss of the art style and green colour of the dialogue text. Instead, the KOTOR 1 port's blue text font and colour is included. Now when you take an unmodified KOTOR 2 and don't touch the dialogue text and run the game at high resolutions, it appears ridiculously tiny - so I understand why the devs here have overhauled it and used their own system. But there was something lost in the conversion here, and I would love it if they could make it a little more like the original. Thanks for the port. I was finally able to do what I never did when I was a kid - turn every companion into Jedi! P.S. Played with an Xbox controller, which worked wonderfully. This version of the game even recognises when an Xbox controller is plugged in and changes the button prompts to actual Xbox button prompts. Aspyr, please bring the same controller support to your KOTOR 1 port! I wanted to play KOTOR for the first time, but it just didn't have the same level of polish and controller support as this recent release does..Version: 2.0.1

Nostalgia OverloadA superb port of the original KOTOR2 which I played on PC nearly ten years ago. I was sceptical about the port over to mobile but this plays brilliantly. I have seen some comments about missing sounds and actions but I have not experienced this at all. The play through is fast and fluid. I think this is an RPG which will never be topped..Version: 2.0.1

Thanks for this :)Replayed the first one on mobile a few years ago and I was able to replay this one as well thanks to you guys. I love the controls on mobile, it feels like the game was made for touchscreens. Great job..Version: 2.0.1

I’d like the gameWhen we are done the story Mission we can’t the Explorering world but I can’t so can you guys add an update that when we are done the story message.Version: 2.0.1

One of the best RPG Star Wars gameNever played these games on original consoles, just on iPad and wow, better story than most new Xbox games. Highly recommended to any star wars fan. Plays and looks great. This game is huge for a mobile device store..Version: 2.0.1

Thank you for listening!Thank you for finalllllly bringing this game to iOS! If you could somehow bring the Restored Content Mod to this, that would literally make it PERFECT. Please add Backbone One support!.Version: 2.0.2

Been waiting for YEARS!Been waiting for years for this game to come out on iOS! Ever since they did that poll back in like 2015! Love it so far! Haven’t had any issues or glitches so far. My only real complaint is that the menu text is TINY. I mean tiny! I don’t have bad eyes at all and unless I have the brightness turned up I struggle with it sometimes. But the dialogue text is perfect so it’s just a bit of a minor gripe. Still loving it!.Version: 2.0.1

Awesome! The game was buggy it first came out for PC. The fact that it runs this smooth on a tablet is nothing short of amazing. The only real issue I have is equipment management for the party. Normally it can be done from the Ebon Hawk/characters ship. The buttons are so tiny to switch from different companions on the ship to Change their load out make them almost impossible to hit on touch screen. Managing characters equipment is a massive pain because of this. If the buttons were just made a little bigger when switching between characters from the inventory menu I would literally have no complaints on this game.Version: 2.0.2

Finally, a phone game I actually want to playHats off to the devs on this one. For real, I’ve never spent money on a mobile game, but I LEAPT at the chance to buy this bundle. I’m barely out of the prologue on KOTOR 1, and a couple missions in on Nar Shadaa on KOTOR 2, and haven’t come across any major glitches or irregularities. Movement is a little awkward, and I find myself clicking my companions as I’m trying to turn the camera around, but I honestly couldn’t think of an alternative so I’ll put up with it. Glad to pick this classic back up, keep up the good work..Version: 2.0.1

AwesomeSo happy to get one my favourite Star Wars Games from the past on iPad. Well worth the money, please bring some more these great old Star Wars Games for iPad like Tie Fighter or Battlefront..Version: 2.0.1

Greatest Piece Of Star Wars Media Ever! The KOTOR series is my all time favorite Star Wars story ever told. This game is of no exception. The characters are deep and fascinating (especially Kriea), the psychological aspect of the force and the total deconstruction of a typical Star Wars is told like no other. The only unfortunate part is that this doesn’t have the restored content mod, but even without it, the game is brilliant just like the first KOTOR game. Regardless of how much of a fan of Star Wars you are, this game is a MUST BUY for its writing alone. The old school D&D RPG aspect takes it over the top..Version: 2.0.1

Astor I love youThank you for porting this game! I’ve been dreaming of being able to play KOTOR 2 when I’m not at home!.Version: 2.0.1

The best-written Star Wars game now on IOS!This is my favorite Star Wars game and playing it on my phone is a dream. I would reiterate what another reviewer said and note that it would be amazing for the restored content mod to be brought over as well. Also, a small request to the devs: I love playing KOTOR with the sound down so I can have my own music playing as the app runs. Right now, KOTOR 2 doesn’t let me do this. My music stops whenever I open the app and I can’t get it to work. If you guys would change this, you’d be making my favorite app even better.Version: 2.0.1

No soundNo sound It’s KOTOR 2 so 5 stars But there’s no sound... even if its in space.Version: 2.0.1

Please add backbone controller supportPlease add backbone controller support like you have on KOTOR.Version: 2.0.2

5 more stars on top of my 5 star ratingOne of my favourite RPGs that I can never finish.Version: 2.0.2

The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.Simply put: this is hands down the best Star Wars game I have ever played. The story is gripping from start to finish, with many unique and interesting characters. If you’ve ever wondered whether you would be a guardian of the peace and unite with the Jedi, or give in to the seductions of the Sith and their philosophies, Knights of the Old Republic grants you the opportunity to create your own unique character and explore the Star Wars universe like never before. Let the sequels die. Kill them, if you have to. That’s the only way to become what you were meant to be. The Force is calling..Version: 2.0.1

Great PortDecent game running very well on my iPhone 8.Version: 2.0.1

Add Controller supportThis game for some reason doesn’t support controllers like the razor Kishi like the first game dose idk why.Version: 2.0.1

Where’s KOTOR III??There’s one there’s two it deserves to have a third one. PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSE MAKE KOTOR III.Version: 2.0.2

Finally here! The best and darkest Star WarsFirst off I just wanna say I’m so thankful this game is finally here I’ve been hoping for this port to be able to cross over to the phones for so long. I love the first game but the second game was the first one I played out of the two and I was blown away by the amazing role-playing mechanics and story. The best thing about this game are the characters and how the characters are the focus and this one a lot more. Influencing your companions to make them into Jedis or sets is one of the most satisfying payoffs in this 30+ our video game. In short you definitely want to buy this and have it on your phone to be able to play wherever you go it is a timeless classic and my favorite piece of Star Wars media out of every game movie or TV show. Kreia is the most interesting and best character ever. My only complaint is I noticed the characters running speed is significantly slower than what it was on PC and Xbox. Please adjust this so that running speed is as fast or even faster than the original game. The KOTOR 1 port to the phone had boosted the running speed for the player so I’m sure Aspyr can also fix this with KOTOR 2. Thank you!.Version: 2.0.1

Amazing Mobile experience!Completely lives up the original port of KOTOR II, so far no complaints and it works really well on my iPhone XR..Version: 2.0.1

Love it so muchThis app is great!! I’ve been waiting the last 5 years since I’ve started playing KOTOR on mobile for KOTOR 2 on here! I downloaded it the very minute I got the notification that it was ready to be installed, and I’m still playing. Currently as of typing this, I’m on the Citadel Station part, and so far, it runs very well, haven’t received any bugs :) this app is very worth the $15, and I don’t doubt that it’ll be very popular once more people download it!!! :).Version: 2.0.1

Please add controller supportI’ve always loved these games but please add Backbone controller support!.Version: 2.0.2

An excellent port of an unforgettable game!I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time... and Aspyr delivered with the hidden ability to install some PC mods as well! This is the FULL GAME, no-holds-barred! The fact that mods, including “The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod”, are able to be installed via iTunes or Mac makes this an easy five star review, as the game wasn’t exactly finished when it came out in 2004 (thanks to the ridiculous 1 year development cycle forced onto Obsidian). This is a must buy for iOS as it runs well (including an option for uncapped frame rates), has good/great touch controls (which the original game practically begged for), and is an unforgettable Star Wars role playing game with tons of replayability..Version: 2.0.1

Thanks, finally! Lost content works tooThanks for the flawless port. I’m a few hours in. No issues, and looks great. Lost content mod worked perfectly. If you buy this, search for “lost content mod for mobile”, this port allows you to install it using iTunes..Version: 2.0.1

Worth itAfter playing KOTOR I was thrilled to see the sequel. Was a little disappointed in some of the gameplay. Was fun to play a bit more of the game, but seemed a little patched together..Version: 2.0.1

I never thought I’d see the day...This game is without a doubt, one of the greatest RPG’s of all time, next to its prequel. The fact I saw this released for mobile on my birthday, was without a doubt one of the greatest birthday presents, ever. The character development, backstories, intricate gameplay, the multiple solutions to pick from for every situation, the extensive skill tree, etc., along with many other aspects, makes this a full and truly unique RPG that has never been made like it before. Be prepared to face a series of emotions including but not limited to: Satisfaction, Drive, Frustration (because of encounters with other devious characters, not because of the gameplay itself), Happiness, Sadness, Love, Hate, and Regret. This is a game that can be played 10+ times over and possibly still not reach every goal, encounter every aspect, or turn over every stone. Truly one of the greats. Worth every penny, and then some..Version: 2.0.1

Best Star Wars game everTook you guys long enough! I’ve been waiting for this game forever. Man this brings me back to the 2000s. A shame they stopped making sequels....Version: 2.0.1

Great game but a few bugsGenuinely one of my favourite games works great with only a few minor bugs though had some problems during the final battle at khoonda where it crashed not sure of this is just me but I hope it’s sorted in a future update.Version: 2.0.1

A sequel that lives up to the originalA great sequel to an all time classic. What a joy to relive these games on mobile. The port was excellent for me no issues at all. You can even use the restored content mod with a little effort..Version: 2.0.1

Nearly perfectIt runs really well, my only issue is that it auto saves when you die meaning I have to keep losing my progress. Very annoying to have to keep goin back because I didn’t save into a slot. Needs addressing. Apart from that it runs great.Version: 2.0.1

Best Star Wars Game EverI purchased this, excited to found what happens in this amazing universe, I have finished today, and I have to say it’s so good better than the first. Please update though, it’s a bit buggy but not huge, but please update game like adding HD cinematics and things like lightning and fixing simple things like crashes and ui bugs. Great game 🥰.Version: 2.0.1

One of the best Star Wars games everI would highly recommend to any Star Wars fan.Version: 2.0.2

Still one of my all-time favoritesWhen I saw that KOTOR 2 had finally been ported to iOS, I bought it right away. I played this game over and over when it first came out in 2004, and no matter how many times I’ve played it, it’s never come out the same way twice. I love KOTOR 2 for the customization of the characters and the fact that the story is about the PC. As much as I love KOTOR 1, it always felt like it was more about your companions than the PC, even with the big twist near the end of the game. I’m already on my second play through since I bought the game. It doesn’t matter that it’s over fifteen years old, it’s still one of the best Star Wars games ever. As for the port itself, the touch controls are really good and easy to use. I end up accidentally talking to my party members a lot, but that’s the only compliant I have about it. Also, the movement speed could be faster. I end up using Force Speed a lot just to get around quickly. All in all, great game; great port. Makes me wish Aspyr could port some other great Star Wars games like Dark Forces and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Then the nostalgia would be complete!.Version: 2.0.1

Audio can controlsI absolutely love this game and I’m more then happy that it’s finally been ported over for mobile, the only issues I’m having is the audio when I walk seem not to work correctly when I walk or engage in battle all I can hear is the music, the controls are also a problem it seams like when I run I’m not able to look around and run at the same time causing me to have to stop and reposition the camera to move in the direction I want to go. Once those problems are fixed this game will easily get 5 stars from me.Version: 2.0.1

Fun gamePlease add controller support.Version: 2.0.2

Simply Amazing!KOTOR 2 is hands down the best out there in terms of Star Wars mobile rpg games. I’m not the type of person who plays rpgs at all but when I first played KOTOR 1 I couldn’t put my phone down even despite it having its challenging moments at times, I managed to finish it and love every bit of it. Now that I’ve finished KOTOR 2 I look back on KOTOR 1 and realize that KOTOR 2 simply surpasses the first. The story, character development, customization options and everything about KOTOR 2 is just brilliant that I couldn’t stop playing and finished it in about a week or less. All in all, if you’re looking to get into a rpg game, more specifically, Star Wars, then KOTOR 1 and 2 are a great start..Version: 2.0.1

Amazing game, great on iPad.I’ve played both KOTOR games many times before, but the convenience of being able to play them both on a phone or tablet cannot be overstated. This has a very different feel to it than the original game. Thinking of it in terms of traditional Star Wars themes, KOTOR is like A New Hope, whereas KOTOR II provides a much more mysterious and thought-provoking story. It has its flaws (the whole opening Peragus mission is pretty tedious) and the ending leaves further questions to be answered, but overall it’s superior to its predecessor in terms of character development and depth in my opinion. As is its bravery in addressing themes not really discussed before in Star Wars games, such as the true nature of the force. The controls are very simple and straightforward, and thus far I haven’t encountered any glitches. It’s a shame it’s taken 7 years for this port to come to mobile since KOTOR was released on iPhone and iPad back in 2013, but it was well worth the wait. Fans of the original who have yet to play this are in for a real treat. It has massive replay-ability, with the various dark side/light side and male/female narrative permutations. A truly great game for Star Wars and RPG fans alike!.Version: 2.0.1

One of the best gamesGood to finally see it on IOS after all these years. No problems so far although I’m barely off Peragus..Version: 2.0.1

Better optimized than kotor 1!This game on the iPhone is a dream come true! I just hope asypr will take the time to spruce up kotor 1 a little bit so both games will match. For example, the main menu for 2 is just like the desktop game but kotor 1 has a 2d menu. Maybe they’ll change that soon? Also the dialogue options feel more interactive as you get to see your character rather than have them cover the entire screen. Just some ideas I’d love to see implemented. Thank you for also having mod support for the restoration mod!.Version: 2.0.1

Controller Support?Need controller support like KOTOR.Version: 2.0.2

A Deep, Philosophical Interrogation of Its Source MaterialObsidian took the opportunity to make an Empire to KOTOR’s New Hope, and boy did they run with it. A dark, intense and strange meditation on the problems of Jedi pacifism and a glimpse of how the galaxy recovers in the wake of one of those titular Star Wars. Aspyr does this game justice in this port - while the game was notorious for its instability and incompleteness on release, it’s in a far better state now, more than 15 years on. And if you want to add in cut content, even here on iOS, Reddit says it’s possible to do so, and they have instructions. The only thing it’s missing, in my opinion, is controller support. But we can’t get everything we want!.Version: 2.0.2

Empire Strikes Back of the Old RepublicObservation: When I first played this game, I expected a repeat of the first KOTOR. What you get, is the ultimate story about the force and it’s true importance in the galaxy. Conclusion: A true masterpiece with a memorable cast of characters. Thank you for bringing this to our mobile devices..Version: 2.0.1

Great portBeen a fan of these games since they came out. I was very excited when the second one was finally released and I’m really satisfied with how it plays on the iPhone. As many have said the turn based (hidden dice too) lends itself well to the mobile platform. I’ve played them consistently over the years but it’s funny how much easier than when I was a kid playing them. Really the only issue I have is that it can overheat my phone just a tad, and while it doesn’t crash, my phone (iPhone 11) will drop the brightness on what is already a fairly dark game, even with settings maxed in that regarded. Not too terrible though. Well worth the money.Version: 2.0.1

Interface issuesThis game rocks and I’m glad to see it’s on mobile, I just had a problem with the interface text being too small and the hud should be redesigned to look normal on newer phones. I also suggest that they move the quicksave button far away from the options button. This is very minor, but it slightly bothered me how a lot of the menu buttons are light blue when the rest of game is mostly green themed. That’s about it. I remember seeing a review on kotor 1 about someone being upset that the button to spin your swords from the original game was removed on the mobile version and it upset them because they used to spam that button all the time, as I’m sure we all have, and they added that button in the mobile version of this game, so if that doesn’t make you want to buy it, I don’t know what will. Oh yeah, and fix the bug where the audio cuts out after a phone call..Version: 2.0.1

Please add controller supportI have been playing this game since it originally came out on the original Xbox back in the early 2000’s! I buy this game on almost everything that I play games on (including the first in the series), been one of my favourites of all time! But why does the first one have controller support for the iPhone, but not this one? Please add controller support, it would make playing one of my all time favourite games anywhere I want, just that much better! Thank you.Version: 2.0.2

Cloud saves and controller support! In the load game menu, there is an iCloud logo on the right side...this lets you upload a save file to the cloud to play between iPhone/iPad. Xbox controller works fine but touch controls honestly aren’t bad for this style game. The game also stays loaded in the iPhone 12’s ram so that you can minimize the game, do other stuff and then jump right back to where you were..great port in most aspects..worth the money..Version: 2.0.1

Grown on meTook a while to get used to the controls, the combat system and the gameplay. The tutorial is a bit limited, I must say. But persevere because once you are established then this game is hours of enjoyment. Best thing is that can go back and replay with different alignment, different team configurations. Would also make different choices about level-ups..Version: 2.0.2

KotOR II is a timeless classic and worth every pennyAs of writing this review, it has been less than a month since this game’s release on iOS, and I have played it through start-to-finish three times, with around 60 hours of gameplay logged. This game is an absolute treasure, and this port of the game works better than it ever did on the Xbox in 2004. Nine million forms of communication would be too few to adequately express how wonderful this game is..Version: 2.0.1

About time!!Well worth the price tag for the nostalgia! Thank you for finally bringing this to iPhone!.Version: 2.0.1

Convenient FunOne of the best games of all time made better by having it accessible through mobile. A classic I can access in my pocket. Works well on an iPhone 7 so far and the controls are fairly user friendly. I would recommend..Version: 2.0.1

Finally it’s brought on mobileOne of my favorite video games ever.Version: 2.0.1

Fantastic!Waiting for so long for the 2nd one!!! Hope it will eventually have controller support like KOTOR 1.Version: 2.0.1

Awesome gameLove the game but there one problem when I play it and I can’t play music and play the game at the same time you know so can you try and fix it please and also add more plants to explore and fix the sound cause when I back out of the game to the Home Screen and back to the app I can’t hear them walking or running or shooting but when I restart the game it’s fine that’s all.Version: 2.0.1

I really enjoy it!I’ve been waiting for this game to be realised on iOS for ages, and I’m sure as hell not disappointed. There’s a few random glitches that’s happened such as my game crashing if I run through mines. For some reason..Version: 2.0.1

LBeautiful, just beautifulTotally worth the pre-order! Huge nostalgia rush, loved the first one and the sequel even more. I’m so grateful for this, especially since Aspyr said (what feels like long ago) they likely wouldn’t do this. All I can say is: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Now the only thing, just ONE thing, is I’m a little sad that this is the cut content version that was released on launch back in the day. Though I’m hopeful updates may restore the full version. Regardless, cut or not, this game gets 5 stars from me right off the bat. Runs way better than it did on my old computer back then as well haha! I remember having to install a bunch of patches and fixes. Now it’s all on smartphones, just amazing how times have changed. Once again a big thanks to Aspyr for this, I rarely write reviews at all but this was so worth a 5 star..Version: 2.0.1

Love it but...I’ve been waiting forever to play this game again and finish it. This is a great port, but there are three problems. 1. Crashing. The game has crashed at least 5 times. I have a iPhone 10 plus. 2. Sound. Sometimes, when I get a phone call, when I start playing the game again, there’s no sound, so I have to restart it. And 3. Words are really tiny to read on Main menu and the item page. Fix these and I’ll give it 5 stars. Really is a classic, though!.Version: 2.0.1

Goodest game everBesterest game ever.Version: 2.0.2

Please reply - restored content mod ?Great game 5/5 How to get restored content mod? P.s don’t be too dark and don’t be too friendly to visas to begin with. Otherwise handmaiden won’t talk to you, thus you won’t be able to convert her to sith..Version: 2.0.2

Very satisfiedIt’s just as I remembered it for the original Xbox. And it has MFI controller support to it. I’m glad I can use my Xbox one controller to play this game on my iOS and it works perfectly no complaints from me. I love how you guys changed some things in this game to make it easier to access the options and other things. I runs smoothly on my iPhone SX. I’m so happy you guy brought out my favorite KOTOR games on to the iOS. The first one was ok. But the second one is my absolute favorite. Thank youz.Version: 2.0.1

Developers, plz help! The game has been fantastic so far, but far into my game I have encountered a game-breaking bug. After all jedi have been convinced to go back to Dantoinne, when I travel back there in the Ebon Hawk, and go to leave it onto the planet...the screen just goes black. Like a cut scene is supposed to load but won’t. So, after advancing maybe 75 percent through the main plot, the game freezes and you can no longer play. This is bad. Developers, please fix this in a patch ASAP, so I (we) can continue playing this awesome classic game! ( one of my all time favorites).Version: 2.0.1

J’attendais ce jeuEnfin ils ont amené ce jeu sur iOS. J’ai adoré le premier KOTOR sur iOS et j’aime bien lui également..Version: 2.0.1

A+Would love backbone support!.Version: 2.0.2

Amazing game.Had many fond memories playing this game back on the original Xbox.Version: 2.0.2
