✓ CampaignWhen you get to sarge at then end of campaign 1, you can’t beat him unless you grind but you can’t cuz your not aloud to go back to previous levels. so you have to grind by waiting for days to get the daily reward, missions and duels. ✓ The dumpster fire that is this gameHonestly, I think this game would be amazing if it wasnt for the Pay 2 Win playstyle of the game. As the NPC June says, and other customers who wrote reviews, "Better gear is the key to victory". Well it isn't . This game has decent graphics and animations and the concept of shadow energy is pretty cool, but to get shadow energy you need to get armour. Now, you may be thinking, "WHY DONT YOU JUST GET ARMOUR THEN". Well i did and now im broke so how do you fix that? Become pay to win. And the bosses are actual bull, im not even kidding. Im sure many other bosses have this unfair balance glitch, but regular enemies are a warmup, minibosses are a challenge, but somewhat fun, and bosses are straight up dumpster fires. The reason why they are dumpster fires is because: 1: They take little to no damage 2: They can attack and not get stunned or flinch 3:The attacks are crazy overpowered, since they can throw attacks through yours and it does insane damage 4:Extreme immunity to shadow energy 5:The ridiculous taunts, just encouraging the player to rage quit. ✓ New updateI am disgusted with the new update. I gave the game a 2 star because the gameplay and storyline is good. For those that don't know how the game work, you have Story mode, and online mode. They have made it now that story mode will give you a maximum of 100 coins per battle, you can win roughly 5 battles a day. Multiplayer battles earn you an average of 150 coins per fight (10 available a day). You get loot boxes from fights, the common takes 3 hours to open, which means you can open 8 commons a day assuming you’re awake for 24 hours. Coin packs drain a whopping 2500, which means you cant open 1 PACK IN ONE DAY! The good packs cost you minimum £8 (they dont even give really good equipment), there’s no other way of getting them. In conclusion, they have made this ridiculous to play without paying, progression is very limited unless you’re willing to spend a significant amount of money of this game..NanzbaVersion: 1.7.0

✓ Some problemsI liked to play shadow fight 2 on insane and some times impossible. I had to do fast paced combos and then try to stay out of the enemies reach. When I tried it in this game it really backfired. Kicking is sloooooow. People could heavy attack me while I’m still trying to kick! There are no combos anymore and just swipes, and if you get caught in the corner with someone more powerful than you then your dead. Block, dodging, and attacking doesn’t get you out of that loophole. I know the game just came out and it will hopefully improve, but these problems are just hard to deal with. Edit: Its been a while and kicks do improve later on in the game, but enemies just spam a combo that is out of your range and does a lot of damage even if your blocking. I’m still playing this game hoping for an update to these things and when it comes I’ll change my review. Edit Once Again: I finished all the levels so far, so I go into pvp. I then get two shot by people who have over 150 levels above me. I need to mention the fact that I COMPLETED THE CAMPAIGN SO FAR, so I can only improve at a very slow rate. ✓ A ruined waste of potentialI looked forward to getting this game the moment I started playing games such as shadow fight 2 and vector which might I add are some of the greatest stunning mobile games I have come across and have spent hours playing both for days on end. Only to play this game however and find it to be overhyped for what it really is. The game mechanics and controls are poor due to focus on graphics rather than gameplay (as most big gaming companies do) which is a real disappointment and a huge letdown to what could have been an even greater game to shadow fight two. ✓ Duels..Don’t get me wrong I adore this game, but there is one issue I hate. The duels sometimes feel like I’m playing with bots. I sometimes pause the game to go do something else and when I come back and resume everyone is in the exact same position and my opponent hasn’t moved. Also, I’m like 900 power level and I go up against people with 1234 power level or something. Sure it’s a good challenge for me to go up against people who are 50-60 power level above me. I would completely change the duels. I’d have two REAL people fight with both same armour, weapons, and throwables and magic. It would be randomised and people wouldn’t be playing with weapons they’re familiar with. Power level will not be a thing and winning will be based on pure skill and combos since you have the exact same stuff. ✓ I’m incredibly disappointed by how much this game became pay to winAs a veteran player, I was incredibly excited for the release of chapter VII as well as the return of the winter festival event, however I must say that I’m disappointed by how unbalanced and grindy the game has become. I completely understand the logic behind creating the stability score as a means of putting everyone back to square one, but it is incredibly difficult to increase your stability, even in a week’s worth of playing without spending real money on things like “completion packs”. Furthermore, I am also disappointed in how unbalanced the “boss fight” of events has become. Events were supposed to be made so that people from all equipment levels have a chance at receiving a better set of gear, not discouraged them from playing the game with incredibly unbalanced boss fights. To name one is the “Bad Okada” battle in the winter festival ascension. He is an incredibly hard to fight opponent, who can summon ice bots and attack you simultaneously, easily finishing you off within 3 shots or less. And this is only on the basic ascension battle progression with the final judge set equipped. The only times I was able to beat him were when I perfected him after at least 15+ failed attempts. This doesn’t make me want to try harder and continue playing the game. It makes me want to rip my hair out and delete the game. What happened Nekki? ✓ What a shame.....The game is a visual treat but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. The d pad controls are very annoying and will cause you to lose for sure at times...for instance, try to move backwards quickly and all of a sudden you spring forward! Try to backflip and you flip forwards! It's hit and miss at times and the directional aspect is mediocre at best. I'm a F2P player and have completed all the challenges some time ago so am waiting for some new ones. The PvP element is good but I sometimes wonder if these are actual real people I'm playing against or bots as no matter what time of day I play I seem to face the same names over and over again! Also my power rating is only 1700 and I'm at the top Dan with everybody else more powerful than me, how comes? I have never been matched with anyone with equal or lower power than me, so am I just great at this game or is it fixed? My current score is 1874 but it's difficult to get much higher as everyone has over 2000 power. No matter as I still beat those who have P2P as many have legendary items. ✓ DissapointmentI honestly had high hopes for this game but I am unfortunately introduced to ugly and repeated character models. The gameplay of the game is terribly stiff, unlike the last game where every input is responsive and fluid. Every action you put was executed smoothly unlike in this game the actions are delayed and moves take around five seconds for the character to actually land the attack. Don’t even get me STARTED on the side quests. The gimmicks that are put into it make it near impossible to beat. The quests where you are temporarily blind worsen the already broken gameplay. The quests where your health depletes overtime makes the game ACTUALLY impossible no matter how much skill you have. Your health goes down so extremely fast that you don’t even have time to defeat the opponent before you. ✓ Ok gameI really enjoy the gameplay of this game and to start off with it is really fun, but as I have seen after having the game for a while is that after a certain point the entire game is a massive grind just doing duels because you can’t do the story cause it’s too hard and the only way to progress is to spend money, I also think the duelling system is flawed as I am 2400 and I keep getting drawn against 2700ds who can kill me in 2 hits and I do no damage to them. I find this game really hard to progress, I’ve been stuck on bolo for ages and it’s really frustrating when U lose as I consider myself quite good at the game but I guess this is part of the game, as I said before I enjoy the gameplay but after endlessly losing duels to overpowered alpine RS it gets fairly boring. ✓ The most frustrating game everThis game is very frustrating. The combat is amazing, I like the dueling system and overall the weapon and mod system. The issue comes with power scaling. The game will have these huge power spikes for no reason so the only way to progress is either spend a week to do one story mode mission or spend real money on the game. They’re extremely greedy, with no cheap options for useful bundles and no good way to get power otherwise. This game seems like it might’ve been a passion project at one point, but now it’s just a pathetic cash grab. Also, the game will cheat against you just to win. The amount of time a cpu has hit me through block, gotten a headshot despite them being nowhere near my head, or doing frame perfect combos to stun lock me while I have no counter is a much larger number than it should be. Skill doesn’t even seem to be an issue here, as in duels I haven’t lost once, it’s only in cpu battles the game decides to cheat you so that you dig into your wallet to actually play the game. Either make the game cost money and fix the power creep or just make the game fair to play. This game has no longevity without either money or an unreasonable amount of time invested into it logging on every day to get +15 power if you even get that lucky. ✓ Difficulty SpikesGood. But not great. The main quest fights get ridiculous with difficulty spikes. And it really grinds my gears that you can’t do an unlimited Survival Mode like the previous game. Instead you have to wait 9 hours after every time you play Survival Mode? WHAT?? WHY?? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THAT?? I’ve loved this fighting game series. It’s been the best out there. They really outdid themselves with the visuals and mechanics on Shadow Fight 3. I was impressed! It CAN be A LOT of fun. The story isn’t anything special so far, but there comes a time when you’ve upgraded your weapons and gear to most you can afford without spending REAL money, and you’ll get whooped in less then ten seconds sometimes during the main quest line, and I’m not bad at this game. Your armor that costs hundreds if not thousands of “shadow energy” becomes as easy as cutting paper all of a sudden, and the main quest guys do soooo much damage all of a sudden, like all that time and energy spent in upgrading your gear just becomes this repetitive cycle that isn’t fun. I get it, they wanna make money, they need to make money, but this is pretty ridiculous at times. It’s frustrating. ✓ Absolute trashThis game had insane potential and was completely ruined it doesn’t live up to shadow fight 2 at all. The controls are inconsistent the AI is spammy and annoying and just not rewarding to fight, the bosses are complete trash possessing nearly impossible to dodge unblockable attacks. The marathons are possibly the worst part of the game having enemies that can comfortably one shot you even if you have an all legendary set. Overall this game is terrible and not worth any time or money try harder next time. For an example of how terrible the marathons are I can get a 13 combo on an enemy and their health will barely budge it’s disgusting and absolutely infuriating this game is garbage and an absolute waste of data. ✓ Unfair fightsWith shadow fight 2 so good with the activities you could do to progress, this game is appalling. With the first boss deng rao, he is on insane difficulty. Even if you die to him, you will gain no xp to level up so you can use much better weapons. He is completely unfair as his attacks are much faster and unblockable he has more range than you, and he has shadow attacks whereas I have them but can’t use them as when I do I just jump and it all depletes. This gives deng rao an opportunity to do his unblockable combos and back you into a wall and spams moves till you die. I have tried doing nothing so it blocks but I continue to take damage. He takes little to none damage even if you do a critical head hit, whereas he does a quarter of you health bar if he does the same. The only other activity I can do is online duels. If you do four rounds you get a chest. These chests either give you things that are worse than yours or things that are too high level to use. ✓ A good title executed poorlyI was a huge fan of shadow fight 2, and when I saw this I just had to download it. I gave it a few hours before I judged it, and I’m sorry to say I’m disappointed. It’s a real shame, but there is just so much to dislike about this game. It starts with great promise, decent visuals, character customisation and a pretty cool cutscene. But that’s where the good parts end. The controls are extremely slow and unresponsive, and this makes fighting the ai without a massive advantage just frustrating, as they can react to your moves long before they even happen. This was a minor issue in shadow fight 2, but the gameplay, story, and items were interesting enough to keep you going, albeit the pace here is still much worse. Whereas you might take some time to grind for new gear in shadow fight 2, here your only options are exceedingly rare side quests or duels to get chests. ✓ Good but needs workI love this game and it’s concept, but it has many downsides. For one thing is the duels. Duels are Basically fighting real people in a point system. If you win you get 20 points if you don’t you lose 20. But what I’m complaining about is the matchmaking system. You can be a power level 1976 and be matched with people that are over power level 2000! This is because it matches based on points, witch means that you could try to lose fights and make it unfair to others. If the matchmaking process was based on power level then I’d make duels way more fair. The next bad thing is a certain weapon. There is a weapon that has a spike ball at the end of a chain. This weapon is VERY over powered. I say this because if you get hit once the enemy can get over 10 hit combos and take all your health away. This is especially annoying in duels. If the devs could lower the combo multiplayer that’d make it much more fair. The last thing is the fact that it’s pay to win. I can get buying items to play in the storyline to make it easier, but in duels it makes it soooooo unfair. ✓ Getting badEvery one I verse are faster than me when I use any kind of weapon, I can’t get anything better, everyone spams, even ai. I can’t pass June, cause she non stop spams attack, weapon or not, does a heap of damage, I have been at June for 5 months now. Make her slower, and stop doing, GIANT health deduction attacks. And make no one in the story have nunchucks, cause when you can’t have enough power, and your versing some one with nunchucks, (some people as well as June) not do so much damage as well as gain so much speed. And I hade to fight a guy who had 221 power, and mine was 441 power, I am up to sarge now and I don’t know how to get better things, WITHOUT story mode. Sarge is way to overpowered, when he attacks me, there’s no way to dodge one attack he is faster than me, he can black and the game won’t let me block. I can keep on adding to this and this is a suggestion to add, a duel is a fight online, so why not name a online mode called brawl where you can only use fist? Make it like a boxing but with the games status. ✓ It's somewhat lacklusterOverall I think the game is fun, but compared to shadow fight 2 the only thing that was really improved is the fighting system. The way you get new stuff in this game is a slight improvement to the last, but in the end i prefer the lasts games way of introducing you to certain weapons. Getting new stuff in this is fun and easy at first but once you reach the end of the first chapter, it takes a long time to get anything at all. The end boss in chapter 1 is very difficult to beat and takes some trial and error (Especially for me because equipment is so low level that i do no damage but take tons). The boss is very easy and simple at first but once you win one round and he stays in shadow mode he becomes extremely difficult, especially with how his hammer throw is so quick but hard to dodge and how you can feel cheated out of a round because of the way the cool off for attacks can get you killed for his uninterruptible move. I see things like this as things that will be big problems especially for bosses later in the game. ✓ What is going onNekki honestly you need to get it together, the same thing happened in Shadow Fight 2 but it was easier to get over. In this game it’s just downright frustrating. If a fight is labelled easy or normal, nobody should have any problems beating it. Case closed. Fighting is clunky and slow, but that’s for the players, opponents are overpowered and faster at all times and gameplay feels like a chore. Chests are an absolute joke, I’ve gotten 2 rare chests out of at least 5 hours gameplay, waiting 8 hours each one and I haven’t gotten anything good save one helmet and now I can’t even use it because it’s such a low level, similar to all my other gear, is low level and cannot be increased because coins are impossible to get with duels being so high input with low output. ✓ Great game absolutely awful controlsLove the game, but if you have big thumbs, don’t bother. The “large” setting for the joystick is still almost entirely covered by my thumb on an iPhone X, so not exactly a tiny screen.... why not just have sliders to adjust UI sizes like LITERALLY everyone else. Also, the responsiveness and accuracy of the joystick are laughable, almost every time I try to do a leg sweep, my character does backwards somersault. This means that whilst I’m trying to dodge, I practically get 1 hit KO’d. The game is difficult, the scaling of the bosses is a bit extreme, and if I had a gem for every time my sword went through someone and didn’t hit them, I’d probably have every item in the game by now. ✓ Needs a lot of work!!I’ve been playing this game for a few months now and ever since the recent update, although they added unlimited side quests. They mess up the way the rules work, for instance I’ve been stuck on this one mission for a week now, the rule is head hits only, but the AI doesn’t have that rule applied to it, which is not how it worked before. While I’m sitting here trying to do combos that will grant me a head hit all the AI has to do is throw me to the ground of sweep my legs and he gets critical hits every time, or I get shocked and I loose my weapons and now I have to fight with my hands while he still has a ranged weapon like a staff or spear. I really enjoyed this game before the update, even though I would rage on occasion, but at least then I knew it was my fault because I wasn’t playing smart, but now I try to play smart but I can’t win because the AI doesn’t have to follow the rules. Also the hit boxes in this game are so finicky it’s ridiculous, if you go for a jab to the torso, somehow the opponent doesn’t take damage, then they return with a critical hit which knocks out like 40% of your health. ✓ Is it just me, or...?Firstly, this is a step up from the last one. No energy requirements, no penalties for needing to try again, and the ability to mix and match move sets. However, I have major gripes. The A.I. feels so much more aggressive than the last game. Whenever I get into a fight, I have to start stunlocking the enemy, and keep completely and perfect dominance in the fight, or else everything hits the fan. As soon as your opponent gets a second to breath, they will either do one of two things. A) stunlock you and somehow be faster than you in almost everything you try, or B) Throw you to the ground, repeatedly. This second one is so annoying, especially since it feels harder to pull off in this game as opposed to the last, and the a.i can do it because they don’t have button combos to press, they just do whatever they want with ease. The card system is ok, and at least you aren’t railroaded into using a specific weapons at certain points like the last game, but the a.i’s difficultly and the random and convenient criticals the enemy lands are too much to handle at certain points. ✓ Amazing but designed so you can't winI really enjoyed this game I kept it for a while. But slowly I played it less and less. The graphics are great, the story very detailed and actually interesting to follow. The fighting set up and equipment is amazingly effective and simply you'll wonder how big consoles have messed it up for so long. ✓ I love this game, but it has a huge issue.I’ll keep it short because nobody likes walls of text. This game is extremely fun, has great graphics and fantastic gameplay. The micro transactions aren’t forced on you at all, and on top of everything it actually has a story with fun bosses. However, the weapon balancing is off-the-charts bad. It’s like Rock Paper Scissors, almost, except way worse, so ignore the analogy. I was getting annihilated in PvP by Spears when I had an axe, because I had no range. Then I unlocked a spear and I annihilated everyone else in PvP because I did have range (and a BS attack that basically guarantees a free hit). Now that my level is higher, I’m running into people with curved swords that can trap me in automatic 4-hit combos, then start over again because I have literally no time to attack, their attacks are just way too fast. The shadow abilities are a little ridiculous, too, simply for the fact they are 100% unable to be blocked. Anyways, apologies for the wall of text after I said I wouldn’t give it. This game is genuinely very fun, and probably my favorite I have installed right now, this issue is just too big to ignore, and it makes many fights feel unfair, or at a disadvantage simply because of what you’ve earned from crates, which is a huge no-no. Common chests takes 3 hours to unlock... 4 spots, 3 hours for the lowest chest. But get this. The dueling system is based on your duel rating. This means someone can be twice as far in the quest line and have much better gear and because they have a lower duel rating, you’ll be put up against them. You will have no chance. I have legendary gear from the second faction. I can hit an opponent repeatedly in the head and barely do damage but they can hit me with one good combo and that’s it for me. Equipment from the third or even fourth faction and I still go against them just because they have a lower duel rating. I have a legendary chain weapon and the basic combo can have up to 4 head hits in a row and if I’m up against someone with third faction gear, I only do a quarter of the damage to them than they would do with one critical hit with or without weapon. Had a duel, 60 seconds into the duel and I get them down to 25% without me taking a hit and then shock them. They do one punch and take 80% of my health from full. I wish I was exaggerating. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Fix this so that people in the same part of the quest line duel each other..TheJLB8483Version: 1.9.3

And as for “experimenting with new fighting styles” you can forget that since you’ll be running to your highest level gear for the next ‘insane’ battle which comes up every 3 main battles or so, taking away control from the player so instead of say learning the game on easy for younger children then working their way to normal and onwards, they get stuck almost immediately. ✓ Soulless game with good combat.I’m truly amazed at the sheer amount of micro transactions, the non stop pop ups, the constant push to get players to pay real money. It’s disgusting honestly, I can’t even play 1 match without being harassed about the latest and greatest card pack or gem box. Or season pass. I can’t speak on ads I’ve got Adblock, 10/10 would recommend. Combat, is good. It feels smooth and easily controllable. Animations are fantastic and the feel you get brings it all together. Each weapon type has different moves, and you’ll have to fight way differently depending on the opponents weapons. I should mention shadow abilities. Which can either ruin or compliment the combat for you, depending on how you view it. It’s essentially 4 customizable, OP attacks that can carry you through an entire round. Some have infinite range, others do half a health-bar of damage instantly. Some are more utility based but still tend to affect the enemy in some way. I don’t like the armor and weapons system. Progression and your loots “score” are tied together, meaning you’ll be forced to either use equipment that you don’t want to. (Because of the randomized card system that determines loot) Or whip out your credit card and pay up. ✓ Unbalanced and op AII was playing the current event and I was doing so good against the greatest gryphon and then he hit me the with the most basic attack and one shot me. I found thus extremely annoying because as the player you have to hit so many combos and different point to do about 5% damage to his health yet he can do 80% with just a small swing. And the weapons are so unbalanced, for example I was fighting the gryphon again for the second time and He had me in a corner and mind you I have the shadow artisan perk so I was using the kusarigami which is one of the lightest weapons in the game while the gryphon uses the heaviest great sword in the game and he swings faster than I do with my kusarigami again found this severely annoying because I did all this hard grind work to beat him twice just to get dominated because he can swing his sword in 2.5 milli seconds versus my character which swings the weapon at 3 and half minutes per swing. He is already as OP as it gets with his armor shielding him until attacked and his already non balanced damage scale now he can swing his sword which is the size and weight of a giant faster than the flash can run around the world really makes this fight not worth it. Not to mention you have to spend 300 of the earned points for 1 ticket even though it shows three in the picture this is the biggest scam and unfair to the grind players who have to fight the pay to win players. The problem lies in the developers decision to monetize this game as much as they can. Loot boxes (Card Packs and Chests), are very prevalent in this game, and only once in a blue moon you can get an upgrade you really need, only once every 20 chests or packs you get something helpful. Duels, their so called PvP mode, is hilariously broken. It doesn’t let you play with real players, it’s just an AI that takes the form of a real player, with identical fighting styles. With the newest update, the fighting style the AI uses does not allow for weapon usage or even simple attacks like kicks, the AI flips you if you attack in close range, while the AI themselves don’t even attack, yet still win almost every time. The matchmaking system has been improved, but still isn’t great, and takes serious grinding, usually at least two weeks to allow you to move into the next rank. I’ve been playing this since November, and yet, I still don’t know why I still play. Duels, it’s loot system, and it’s slow story mode ruin what’s otherwise a really good fighting game. Much like every other player had to grind my way up and upgrade my gear my completing missions and duels. This grind was what made the game both fun and I frustrating at the same time, however to get to the top you had to grind your gear up (or by gems) but everyone was on the same level. Now with your pass new players will probably be deterred away due to the fact that it’s not fair now as players can pay a subscription to get rid of the grind and fast track them. But the animations are incredibly annoying, as they trap you in one spot for an extended amount of time, and the character is just not as fluid as it used to be. The enemies can do things you just can’t, and they can trap you on the ground, kicking you and punching you, but when you do it they can just roll away. There are less kicks you are able to do, less dodges, and it seems the devs want you to have to grind to get coins to buy armour rather than become good at the game and defeat enemies by skill. It becomes impossible to do anything like actually WINNING a round later on in the game, and is impossible to get anything worthwhile that you can level up with. ✓ This games combat is extremely one sidedThis isn’t about the game being pay to win. No not at all in fact it’s about how stupidly unfair the combat is against CPU’s. The thing which makes it so infuriating is that if you look past the extremely one sided combat you have a genuinely have a good game. Basically, it’s very easy for you to be disarmed but really really rare for a cpu to be disarmed and if you do get disarmed you practically lose instantly. As well as this, the kick system is abused and seems to do more damage from CPU’s however when you do it it does practically nothing. You also just take more damage from CPU’s in general sometimes (even when said to be easy). It can deal a third of your health for no reason over then a head hit which deals about a third of the damage they do to you with same exact load out. And for two more kicks while your down you can’t reset your account without messaging there support team which isn’t even an option provided by the game’s believed problems. ✓ Poor AI CombatSince the latest update, I’ve found it impossible to win ranked matches. The update has changed the fighting style of the AI entirely. For starters, the opponent blocks literally every attack, except for when they are on the ground, in the air, or shadow attacks, even when they are stepping forward or attacking. This means I have to hit them about two hundred times more just to deal enough damage through their blocks while avoiding their unfairly rapid attacks. This brings me to my next point. The AI never leaves a break between attack chains and any time they are within sword’s length, they throw me, wait for me to get up, then throw me again and knee me in the head when I stand. ✓ Design PhilosophyAfter the first 10 minutes of gameplay it’s fairly obvious that this game is trying to draw on the success of its prequel in order to make a game that’s financially good but of poor game design and blatant plagiarism of other loot chest based games. The beat ‘em up genre has traditionally been an area where you are rewarded for good timing and punished for poor timing and button mashing. The basic attacks of the enemies in this game are much faster than the player, this in combination of the sluggish animations of the player character makes timing obsolete and encourages players to spend money to simply progress in the game by button mashing. The only way to gain levels is through story mode thus creating a barrier to items that you get which are above your level. So an item that would really help you out to "balance" a boss fight is only attained after you beat the unbalanced bosses. Basically, this points you in the direction of spending money on epic decks of items to then beat that boss and then have no use for the item that would have helped. Then a streak of players with about 500 more power than me brings me down to almost 1200 points.At each fight that you lose the amount of trophies you have decreases of about 17 points so I have lost well over 10 battles straight. I even had a guy that had double my power fight against me! To add to that, I am pretty sure the fights aren’t even online because multiple times I have seen people with the same power, same armor, weapons and with the same name 5 battles in a row. ✓ The game is good but the chapter 4 bosses are way to opLook, this game is really amazing. Like the graphics are so good for an iPhone and just blows most games out the way. The fighting techniques and moves are really awesome too. But here is where the game gets its cons. Yeah the weapons are pretty cool but at the same time some won’t do you justice because if you really play the game and understand it your weapons really depend on range. (for example, if I had a spear and the other guy had a sword I would destroy because I could cheese the whole game by keeping him away from me buh yet still hitting him which also causes a lot of damage.) Also sometimes the game depends on speed of weapons. Like some time you would press the button but don’t hit 4 secs later. That’s a really late reaction time but for lighter weapons they hit right away so I believe the weapons need to be fixed. Also chapter 4 is a little to op because when you verse some of the shadow fighters all they need to do is hit you once or three times and you are already dead while you do not have any armor or good weapons to go against that fighter. ✓ What’s the point?I’ve played this game for hours, minutes at a time, and there is some real problems... I’ll start with the pros- good graphics, (mostly) responsive controls, a few different game types... now the cons- hit detection at times can be arbitrary, it sometimes registers multiple button presses as one long one ( this leads to you foolishly winding up for a huge move only to be interrupted by a jab following a combo) the biggest flaw to me is PROGRESSION. After completing all of the story mode campaigns, I get greeted with “more coming soon” oh come on, was it that hard to make the game so far? Time based objectives in “side missions” will “allow” you to play roughly 4-5 matches per day, which will upgrade your existing equipment or (rarely) grant you new abilities.. “battle” mode is a supposed pvp game where you play an online opponent, and here is where the problem lies. I have found it impossible to reach 1600 battle rating, because every time I get close, it puts me against people with a waaaaay higher rating with way better equipment than I have, so I slowly go up the ladder only to get knocked down 2 pegs. To make it worse, the game gives you “upgrades” in the form of cards, but I find they tend to only upgrade the crappiest gear I have, instead of the better stuff I have, and there is no way to sell the old crap I had when I started. ✓ Mediocre but potentialThis game has a lovely foundation and a nice RPG loot system but overall the gameplay isn’t anything noteworthy mainly because most of the campaign and duels are rather predictable and repetitive. Most powerful enemies in duels just use hyper armor duel weapons that let them pulverize you while you’re on the ground which means you can’t block. A few bosses in the campaign are far too high of a difficulty spike. I’m a dark souls veteran so trust me, tedious boss fights that make you irritated aren’t what makes a game hard, its gimmicky and boring. Overall this game is alright but how much of a grind it becomes despite having so few options to actually earn loot early game will discourage impatient players. ✓ Read before playingVery good game on first impression, after spending a few hours you quickly realise that this the gameplay is slow and flawed. It prides itself on “online duels” which is completely misleading, instead of duelling real players, you simply play against AI who claim to be other players. The enemies are designed to nearly always have a difficulty of “impossible”, making the only way of progressing (no matter how good you are at the game) only available through your wallet. Amazing visuals on the ‘shadow abilities’ its a shame that they completely ruin the game- there is nothing worse than having a flawless 13 hit combo, taking your enemy to half health- just for them to gain their shadow ability and take you out in 2 moves. As for the hit detection, it’s rubbish at best. There’s also a glitch that results in both characters doing a front flip when you go to flip the enemy over and finish them off, voiding all damage. Took our freedom of what we get to spend our coins on by having some card packages that let you play fruit ninja for a few seconds. I have two friends playing this and apparently everybody gets the exact same experience. You took what was good and made it crap. Shadow Fight 2 was already fine, you added horrible 3d renders and gave us colours that don't catch my eye. It was all about the background and foreground rather than the character itself, SF2 was unique Speed is too fast, animations are rigged, difficulty ratings are not what they seem- might as well make "normal" impossible and call it a day. Doesn't do much, just another beat-em up game. The only thing they haven't given us yet is pvp and sadly they haven't realized that feature is what will rack them players. It took at least 2 months or so until they finally released the new story update and since the update I don’t get coins when playing the story anymore. Usually you would get either coins, gems or both as reward for finishing a chapter, now you don’t get anything sometimes. Usually when you lost one of the chapters, you would get coins for how well you played, but after the update the game just restarts every time. This makes it impossible to keep upgrading without spending money on coins and gems all the time. And also when playing online, I always get matched up with opponents that are a lot stronger than me. Like 100+ points better, which makes it impossible to win, as they only need to hit me 3-4 times, but I need to keep hacking them and land good hits. Therefore only 2 stars this time. One, the matchmaking obviously will screw you over (Clash Royale Style) where you get matched with people with legendary gear and weapons with 900 item power compared to your 700 item power with rare armor. Two, the bosses in the main quests are very annoying and almost impossible to beat if you are F2P. Usually, I’m really good at fighting games because most of them come down to skill. However, this game just requires dumb luck to win. Half the time, your attacks will phase through your opponent without dealing damage, the other half of the time they won’t hit the opponent but you’ll deal damage. As you go on in fights, the power rating in the story jumps drastically, and the opponents you fight in events quest also drastically increase in power. Throughout all of this, one thing I notice that is constant is “favor of the AI” as I like to call it. You can go and hit your opponent 5-6 times without having anything special to them, but if the AI hits you twice, they’re both likely to be critical hits and hits where you lose your weapon. This happens in almost every fight I’ve gotten into. Now, I don’t know if that’s awful luck for me or just constant AI support, but that should be something that is fixed. Then I realized that the opponents don’t actually attack (or rarely attack) but instead they react or block. Proof of this is when a suggestion will come up during the match that says “try changing your fighting style”. Well no matter what move I make, since my opponents are reacting or blocking, rather than attacking, if I kick, they do a proper counter attack or block, if I go low they do a proper counter attack or block, if I do a back spin attack, or a jump attack etc. They do a prop... well you get the point. If I do nothing and wait to attack, they don’t attack. So then the time runs out and I lose. So basically they made this game in a way that you simply have to be overly stronger than your opponent so when they continue to block every move. You’re still causing substantial damage. Also, if the game wants you to win, you’ll know. You’ll all of the sudden get hit with a 13 combo and you can’t get out of it because each hit stuns you for a split second, where the superhuman bot will just keep laying hits on. The player progresses through the story to level up the character and eventually reaches soft walls for content with “insane” or “impossible” difficulty. I’ve seen comments that if you’re skilled enough you can win at this difficulty, but in some situations there really is no possibility of winning even at the highest skill levels. For example, an opponent that literally out heals any damage you could possibly do. I love it but there are many things that could be included to enhance gameplay. For starters, players should be able to sell equipment that they aren’t going to use back to the game for shadow essence, as it would make acquiring shadow essence a lot easier and players would be able to progress faster. I for one am stuck versing an iron beak warrior in chapter 2. The rating of that fight is “insane”. Taking the time to do online fights and waiting until you get a piece of equipment with a higher rating then what you already have takes ages as rare/ legendary loot rarely drops and common items are useless most of the time. Players should be able to sell this useless equipment back to the game in order to help them save up for shadow essence upgrades on higher quality equipment. Second of all, players should definitely have the option to “retry fight” after they fail a side quest or main story line fight. This would save a lot of time and frustration as I personally know that having to go back through the menus to press fight again can be a rather large hassle after you’ve done it a few times. ✓ Waste/ takes little skill just money honestlyThis game is a waste of time it’s more of a game where you just open chests with a long wait time you can’t progress fast and have fun because you only level up through story but to play each level you have to have a even higher power level which you get through chest and most of the time the good weapons require a higher level. Also you can’t progress with pure skill because every time you beat one story level the next part of the story is literally impossible. Also you have to wait for more side quests which are the only thing to get better weapons but they also have a long wait time. Yes the game is fun but that’s when either your evenly matched or have a higher power level. With not being able to progress with pure skill you can’t because attack’s others have when they are a lot higher level then you can take your whole health bar down with a simple combo move. It’s also pretty hard to dodge because once you mess up a dodge you get knocked down and they can hit you down again before you have the chance to do something. I’m fine with waiting for chest but maybe they could shorten some. Also I think you should be able to level up weapons and armor through multiplayer. Another thing is adding friends so you can fight them. ✓ New update 1.20The new update has added some new gear that only higher levelled players can obtain and I think that they should make it easier to get without spending money. The new duel system is terrible and I’ve found myself fighting people with 23k power in dan 7 when I’m only 9k; it is impossible to win anymore. The story mode has been made easier which I think is useless as I like the story being a challenge and the duels being something I can actually get cards out of. The update is also filled with bugs such as the game randomly crashing, it asking you to restart every time you open a pack, upon opening the app it will glitch and you cannot load the game and the battle controls acting as if you were playing on vertigo; these need to be fixed as it is very annoying to actually play the game..Asa clyVersion: 1.20.0

✓ ProgressionI like this game because it’s hard core its graphics are good and it’s super fun. The part I hate about the game the most is progression and chest I don’t like the progression of the story because after you do all the quest you have nothing to do and also they give you lackluster gear and it’s not enough to close the difficulty gap .I know I said I like the game because it’s hard core but I kinda don’t like the fact the story mode opponents rating go up immensely after 2 fights . Then we have to play pvp to get better gear which is the other topic I want to talk about. The chest in PvP are not hard to require you to win obviously but that’s not the problem, the problem about the chest is that it’s just like the quest unless your luck and get rare or legendary chest you will get common chest that you have to wait like 6 hrs to open and get armor that won’t help with anything besides helping you die quicker but, this game feel very satisfying when you beat the boss you have been stuck on but still I kinda don’t like how the developers of this game push legion as the faction easiest to get in my opinion it’s the worst but that’s why it’s easier but still wish when they hand out event stuff they let you choose the faction you get the gear from instead of it defaulting to legion.Blazein1020Version: 1.12.2

✓ MatchingI like this game a lot, but the matching is really bad. I’ve been matched with players way higher than me with better gear. Unfair. And the amount of pay-to-plays are very little.
