✓ Great game but..I love this game.. the one annoying thing is constantly waiting for chests to open to hope you get the armour upgrades you need to progress in the story. And the duel section doesn’t really help that. I’ve spent money on the game but won’t be spending anymore, transactions are fine but let us progress in the story by grinding away at something not just pay to play. There’s an event tab with nothing happening on it also. I do love the game as I’m sure many others do, give us something to progress in the story a bit faster. ✓ Best game I’ve played everThe other review left on there about skill levels not mattering as much as your gear upgrades, may have an element of truth to it but seemed to have come from a place of impatience rather than that of objective critique. Skill has everything to do with it. It’s the way you move; the anticipation of gap selection when you choose to strike. Choice of blocking. You have a whole range of attack options available to you, each tailored to where you are in relation to your opponent and your ability to anticipate your opponents’ next move. This isn’t some arcade street fighter type stuff (NOT bagging sf2 btw) where you just keep pressing buttons till the enemy dies. This game is one of the best games I’ve played on a mobile platform and my hats off to to people who have created it. ✓ Great Job Devs!Ok, so in my last review, I had given this game a rating of only 2 stars because the control responsiveness was lacking to the point that it made the game just unenjoyable. The devs listened and along with other bug fixes, they released an update that finally made the game live up to its true potential. From the original Shadow Fight, till now, the game has come a long way. I’ve been a fan since the beginning but this installment really takes the cake. I’m absolutely hooked. Once you learn the control mechanics, and strategies your moves, this game becomes truly addicting. The story mode may seem challenging, but that’s because it is. The developers made the game so you don’t advance to quickly, by having the player perform pvp battles in order to gain cards that strengthen the players build to advance to the next chapters. You can either buy gems to unlock better cards or speed up chests, or just fight pvp battles and wait to unlock chests. Either way, there’s no need for p2w. The game automatically matches you with people with the current gear score as you so there is not a lot, if any, unfair advantages. This game is a must for fans of the fighting game genre. ✓ No need to spend money to progressI’ve played the past shadow fight games and I can tell you shadow fight 3 is very well made and the boxes don’t really interfere with the gameplays progression. It’s honestly pretty fair and easy to obtain loot boxes and level up not saying that the fights are not challenging because they are usually and boss fights are as well. Even under leveled characters are capable wining fights it’s just harder and more frustrating at times. The game seems to have pretty simple controls if you ask me, but the key is timing and not moving to block. I myself have won high level fights without taking hits so it’s possible to win not saying I am a master at this game but I’ve retried enough to notice patterns that many of the bosses have as do fighters with there many weapon types. The game is very rewarding if you just don’t give up and you keep trying and trying. Considering this game is free with wide variety weapon types, shadow moves, and good controls I can’t help but give it a 5/5. Loot boxes I would preferred them not having a timer and being in the game but I can’t help but feel they were implanted pretty well and it really does not hurt your progression. ✓ I enjoy this but...This is a great game and much credit should go to the developer for the time and effort required to make a game with this quality especially as they give it away for free and you don’t really have to spend anything to enjoy it. Though here comes the but, it seems like the controls are somewhat broken, I know I am not the only one with this issue and it can lead to a loss of a match. Your character can act in predictably at times normally I’d accept the flaw as one of those things but in recent times it’s gotten a lot worse with the new update. The developers are clearly active but this issue is ongoing and it’s getting to the point I’m becoming so frustrated I can’t be arsed to play it anymore. ✓ Good but fix matchmaking plzThis is for one, a great game!! Don’t diss it cause ur bad cause this is amazing!! It has great graphics, the item collection is cool, and the storyline is addictive!!! I love this game but i think that ur really need to fix the matchmaking in duos. I’m finding it really annoying that i keep on going against people that have roughly 100 power more than me. This makes it really unfair and it makes it really hard to progress in the story. I’m stuck on the bit where he has to be the sarge. I have been stuck on this bit for roughly a week and it hasn’t moved off insane difficulty!!! Otherwise it is one of my favourite mobile games. Plz fix this.🙏.Version: 1.24.2
✓ AWESOMEI love this game. its simple enough that it's not overwhelming, yet theres enough playstyle variety to keep it entertaining. it would be nice if it was a little easier to obtain the common currency, but over all its amazing. i really appreciate the zero energy cost play and really appreciate not having to "pay" to upgrade items. just about every element in this game is perfect. i love i can keep trying as many times as i want to without worrying about having to wait for a stamina bar to fill up. i dont know what else to say! maybe increase the amount of loot received? or perhaps reduce the time it takes to unlock chests... all in all, its my favorite game BEST. GAME. ✓ I came back to write another review :)I had already rated this game 5 stars, but I wanted to come back to add onto it. The game is really amazing and plays smoothly, the graphics are great, the choreography is to die for, the story is a fun time with the unique boss fights, the duel system is handled wonderfully, the factions are all fun in their own ways, the list goes on. The reason I’m coming back is because recently I encountered my first game bug, which when I opened a legendary quest chest and a rare one, it told me a restart was necessary and I was not rewarded any items for the chests. I was a bit upset about the legendary one, given how long it takes to get those, so I sent in a bug report. Not only did support reply so quickly that I thought it was a bot, but they immediately fixed the issue AND compensated me with not only some of the items from the chests, but 30 rare keys, 30 epic keys and 15 legendary keys!!! It made me really happy to see that the devs really REALLY care about their community and I want this game to grow to reach the top of the charts. :) (Also a release on Steam would be amazing Nekki pls I’d pay $9.99 for that <3).Version: 1.20.0
✓ Ranking system is a JOKEI am a 6067 player cos I really spent hundreds of dollars in this game to level up my favourite weapon. But no matter how good my equipments are, I still get knocked down by TWO SIMPLE KICKS from all of the opponents I met! I knew it along that these opponents are not real player behind but with a real player’s nickname ....but, excuse me? 2 hits and then I am out? I’ve seen plenty of 5000+ or 4000+ player kick me down with 2 to 3 moves...so guys, don’t dream about levelling up and smash everyone in the game. Stop pouring money, cos it makes no difference. ✓ Bring back vectorHi this isn’t about this game however it u a about another game this developer made. Back in about 2014 there was a game called vector it was a parkour game were your character that ran straight forwards doing various parkour moves trying to escape a police of sorts. It was fun and personally I would pay for the full game however if it is brought back I recommend you have a pro payed version and a normal with ads every two levels but it is the full game. If the game was taken down by Apple for safety reasons then leave a notice every time you open the game that some of the things done are very dangerous as they are done by a *game* character and should not be attempted. ✓ Great Game, but could use some featuresI’ve played this game for a long time now and I have just finished the game after a couple of years. I have played this game on and off almost from the very beginning and I have a few suggestions on how to make the game more enjoyable. The first suggestion is to make gems more easily attainable. The shop often has good legendary items, but I never have enough gems for them, let alone a legendary pack which costs 2000 gems. The second suggestion is to implement a way to play with or against your friends. There is no true way to test your skill because even duels are AI controlled. Also I have a lot of friends who play this game and I would like to play against them. The third suggestion is to make shadow points more attainable because it costs so much to upgrade legendary items. Another suggestion is to make the process of getting dyes VERY clearly explained. My final suggestion is to make the events easier for high level players. I have relentlessly upgraded my gear in an attempt to do better but the fights remain difficult as ever. ✓ Great game overallI’m not sure why the other recent reviews say this game is so difficult. It’s much easier compared to its predecessor and it looks incredible also. Just an issue with the chapter 4 update though, it seems that after I complete a story mission or a side mission the game is unable to move to the rewards and is stuck on the fight. There is also a booster pack bug where you get stuck in a loop of opening the booster pack over and over and you are unable to quit it. Please patch soon!!.Version: 1.9.0
✓ Read this review before downloadingThis is a great game with an awesome story and plot. The battles a very entertaining and fun. I would like to say that when you go to do the next battle, your opponent is almost impossible to beat unless you figure out how they move, and that might take 6 or 7 fights to master before you beat them. The armour and weapons are really cool and exiting to unlock. I guess it’s going to take a 10 to 11 days of this game before it get really exiting and edge of your seat worthy, but I’m 2 days in and I still can’t figure out whether I’m a Ninja, knight or Samurai. ✓ Main Chapter and RewardsThis game has lots includes lots of variety when it comes to weapons, special moves and stuff, but firstly, the main chapter is very difficult, meaning that you have to wait quite a long time to get better rewards. This makes it increasingly difficult and annoying so I suggest you make the main chapter easier. Secondly, the wait to get a dual chest or a dynasty pack is quite long. Not only is quite long but if you receive a good weapon or armor you probably won’t be a high enough level, and the only way to get levels is by completing the main quest. This is very frustrating but otherwise it’s a very good game. The shadow abilities add a unique touch to it and has lots of variety. Fix these issues and it’s 5 stars for me..Version: 1.16.1
✓ Updates and ImprovementsI love this game as a continuation of SF2. Been waiting for about 8 years and not that it’s here I have a few things to say. First, I’m glad they took the energy out. I use to hate having to wait and fight. The second thing is why can’t we by the cards we want? I rather choose my favorite weapon to fight with and armor to progress without changing anything. My favorite color is red. Third things is what’s up with the pvp here? Why can’t it be real time pvp? That would’ve made this game awesome and another thing y’all need is clans/guilds within factions. At least 3 or 4 factions you can choose from and every week or so whose ever at the top get special bonuses. The last thing is the chest. Why do we have to wait hours to open a box when we play 10 games within one hour? Please cut the times down. Other than that, this game is amazing and worth every star. ✓ Good game, great combat, but...The game is great, amazing graphics and nice combat but there is one large issue I see in the game, the levelling up system, at the start gaining XP is easy but as you progress the game gets 10X as difficult, the side quests don’t give you XP, duels don’t give you XP and the events don’t give you XP either, the only way you can actually gain XP is by completing the chapters, but if your side quest difficulty is hard and your chapter difficulty is insane it is nearly impossible if you aren’t lucky or if you buy cards with the gems which either cost money or you can get them for free by using tap joy, there should be a system where if you loose you gain a small amount of XP but I don’t know if could work for the flow of the game but it’s just a suggestion..Version: 1.11.1

✓ You don’t have to pay a centBeing honest here, this is perhaps one of the best mobile games I have ever played. Yes, I see the problems with pvp and items, but that was my only setback. Even so, those problems were fixed by the latest update. To the people stuck on side quests, equipment is not the entire point of a game, you need true skill. This can be done via training to see what fighting style is right for you. I am at approximately a power level of 5,900 and used to fight people with up to six hundred power levels higher than me. Most of the time, I won. To the people stuck on the main quest, keep trying. It’ll work out. I could not tell you how many times I had to fight against a boss to defeat it, but I pulled through. I have completed all four chapters from determination, skill, and of course, a bit of power. I have not once bought gems to help my progress , yet now I am on top pvp rank, which is now currently Legend, the eleventh dan. I would also like to mention I am thirteen years old. Most of you are older than I am, so you have no excuse whatsoever. For those who are younger than me, I want to wish that you don’t give up on this game. ✓ Fighting style and other stuffThe thing I mainly have a problem with is you need certain armour to do certain things like to jump and flip off a wall to get away from your opponent is not available till later we’ll to far but still troublesome and this is the same problem I had SF2 is you have to obtain a new weapon to become better yet by the time you get good a one fighting style you have to switch I’ve won perfects easily with my fate slicer then I have to switch to Sai because they were more powerful and I struggle with short range weapons also those things that you equip on to your weapons are annoying because some only work for certain weapons it sounds like I’m ranting but apart from what I’ve mentioned it’s a great game oh And the fact that getting keys is stupid because 3 keys for winning three fights with swords while I had swords but they where weak so bring back survival.Version: 1.14.2
✓ Amazing graphics, fighting styles, storyline, and more!From the start, this game helps players use weapons the right way and get good at the game, without an hour long tutorial. The story starts off giving you pretty basic yet useful weapons that don’t require combos and can just do a lot of damage. Later on through the start, you start learning new moves and getting new weapons. Then in the next chapter, you receive different weapons. These ones involve combos and more, but by then I felt like I knew how to play. The last set of weapons given are ones that require punishing your opponents flaws to do damage, which by then you know how to do extremely well! Then after you get all three you can decide which kind of weapons you want to get as rewards, which you can change any time you want. The other great thing about this game is it’s complex A.I, making the player have to change their tactics. The A.I learn from the players moves if they keep doing the same thing, causing it to predict the function. This also stops the players at the start from not learning more. The story mode is also unique and bosses have special abilities that you don’t have. Honestly, I suggest people get this awesome game..Version: 1.20.3

✓ Dueling is broken.I’m enjoying this game however, with the structure of gearing up your character, you do get forced to play duels more than any other game mode. Which is fine, I enjoy climbing the ranks, however, more often than not I am paired up against someone that I literally have zero chance at beating as they are ridiculously higher geared than I am. I’m all for a challenge but when my opponent enters the fight unarmed and kills me with 2 knee attacks that I blocked and because his armour is much higher level than mine I do so little damage to him I wouldn’t be able to beat him before the timer runs out regardless. If you’re going to make the player play duels to progress the game you seriously need to make it enjoyable, because right now it’s not..Version: 1.6.2

✓ I like the game a lot.Personally, I have played “Shadow Fight” since Shadow Fight 2 first released. As I saw the trailers and ads for Shadow Fight 3, I got really excited. Whenever I got my hands of Shadow Fight 3, I played it for hours. Right now I am so happy for 2 main reasons: One being that the game is actually difficult. In the second game, you could defeat Impossible rated levels with ease once you got used to the controls. In the third game, however, that is not the case. While yes, you can defeat Impossibles, but the game is much more difficult. The second good thing is when you get to the end of the game, instead of just doing raids like in Shadow Fight 2, you actually get events for special armors, and you also get to do duels whenever you want. A third thing that completely blows this game out of the water for me is no energy. For anyone not familiar with energy from Shadow Fight 2, you could do 5 battles until your energy ran out, and it took 20 minutes to get one energy back. In other words, you could play the game for long. The last part of the game that is nice is fancier graphics. In the second game, it was literally black, like a shadow. Now it has nice graphics, which I guess just makes the game more fun to look at..Version: 1.13.0

✓ The best 3D Fighting game on the marketI’ve been playing shadow fight 3 since it first came out, and boy let me tell you it’s changed a lot. The graphics are absolutely amazing, the fighting styles are unique and fun to play with, and although you may get stuck, there is always a way to get out. So what if you have to wait a day or 2 to get a new event to continue the gameplay? There’s always something to do and the progress can always be sped up with the in app purchases. Unlike other games that are complete scams, I feel completely satisfied with this game when I buy something. Especially the legendary packs or set items from the special offers. And better yet, the attacks are so smooth and exciting. I can’t wait to finally try our shadow fight arena once it’s done downloading! Keep up the great work Nekki! One more thing, I want to see where the storyline leads to and how we handle shadow, now that I am fused with shadow mind. It’s a game for mobile, it shouldn’t meet your expectations because what you expect is typical of a console game. ✓ Strange bugI have played shadow fight 3 for a long time, it is a great game. I have enjoyed seeing how the story and general app development have evolved. Just recently when I went on the app to collect my daily reward, I watched a video for a bonus card. This bonus card gave me tokens for the wrong event!! ✓ Great game, has some bugs, requires some in-pp purchases to move forwardAs the title suggest, this is a great game, with some bugs, and requirement for in-app purchases to move forward. It’s a great because the game mechanics are done well for hand held devices. The controls are responsive and the graphics and re-play ability are great. Has rpg elements in there that really get you hooked on the character. The however is fraught bugs which occasionally lead to frustration. For instance, there is a bug where a legendary chest with russian characters will be presented to you and crash the game. Another instance is the loss of credit/shadow gems/currency (without reason) after defeating a boss (eg marcus/itu). All this takes away from the user experience. Lastly, the games difficulty escalates exponentially. In addition the game does not have character balancing systems and the user heavily relies on character enhancements (through in-app purchases) to progress in the game. Albeit buggy, it’s a great game to sink your teeth into; particularly if you’re keen on fighting games, and have time, patience and cash to spare..Version: 1.13.2

While the D-pad controls may be a slight issue I cannot think of controls that do not have an issue. Personally I have found the gameplay to be brilliant and there is never any lag. The game is very varied however I wish they would make more missions, weapons and armour. Although I appreciate that this is a micro-purchase app rather than a pay upfront one it would be nice to have a chance to get legendary items, currently we have none. ✓ Amazing game but needs more customisationI can’t get enough of this game, it’s addictive, fun, easy to learn and just all round Entertaining. My only problem is the customisations yes you can wear gear but you can’t do much with the gear, I think we should be able to change the colour of the gear and complete events to unlock Rare, epic, legendary colours for our gear, also my main problem Is not being able to view your characters face while fighting the only way to do it is if you unequip the head gear itself to view the character, all there needs to be is an on/off switch for the helmet but still have the helmet equip to the character. I’ve been playing this game for a while now ever since re installing it because I took a break from it and now I’m glad to say that I’ve been enjoying it so far due to the events, the raids, the rewards and the content that is in the game now. But the only problem I have with it is the technical issues that I keep facing with it. Usually whenever I play it the game keeps lagging and it freezes and when it does it usually crashes. This is very bad for the players like myself that play too much duels because when they have a high winning streak the game can usually freeze and crash and they lose those winning streaks that they had. It’s been happening to me a few times now and it’s problematic, not only for the duels but other game modes that I play. ✓ 10000x better than the other shadow fightsWith the new equipment and fighting styles, this game is my #1 favourite game to play on the phone. I would recommend pairing the duels closer to the levels, and possibly lower wait times for chests, but overall this was a brilliant game!!.Version: 1.6.2

✓ Great game for ninja fans!Shadowfight 3 is a great game for ninja fans. Why? Well In Shadowfight 3 you basically are a ninja. And you, as the ninja go around completing missions and side quests to level up. But it’s not a game where you only have 1 item for the whole game. In Shadowfight 3 you can unlock and earn various armours and weapons just by fighting! Shadowfight 3 is constantly doing events that have a ton of extra missions in them. And from those events you can earn different items that can only be earned in that event and nowhere else. In Shadowfight 3 there are multiple different rarity’s of items you can get. Like common and rare and other rarity’s too. Different rarity items can be harder to get then others. Legendary items are harder to get than common items. Personally I think that Shadowfight 3 is a great game because of the things you can do. So if you get Shadowfight 3 then maybe you will see what I mean by it’s a great game..Version: 1.16.0

✓ Really greatThis game is amazing but just a few issues but I’ll start with the positive so the game handles well, I’ve only had one crash on 8+ but I guess that just happens after update. Very nice sound track really ancient dynasty like which really sets a nice environment to the game. The graphics are better than most IOS games I’ve seen which is awesome. A couple of issues though. I finished the game already because the new chapter hasn’t come out and every time I try and play my daily mission it says it has an update. But I doesn’t which means I can’t play the game. ✓ It’s a love hate relationshipBeating impossible enemies after trying for so long feels amazing, especially when you haven’t paid for new gear. The grind is worth the reward, learning the weapons and finding your favourites whilst climbing up the pvp ladder is the best. Now there’s some points when the controls let me down (or it’s just my sweaty hands) and it enrages me to no end! And I do think that they could offer more gems for your money or lower the price of booster packs, HOWEVER you don’t need to buy these to play and succeed so the price is irrelevant. The story is quite cool, the writing is a bit off sometimes but it’s not off putting, also the side missions can give away what comes next in the main story but that’s also not a problem really, I’m just there to fight. ✓ Latency Latency Latency GateSome welcome changes, there on the right track but the track is still broken, the bot control avatars hit when it wants to hit, kick when it wants to kick and combo with the quickness, but my avatar has way too much Latency, when both are standing still and in that 2,3 milliseconds I'm tapping and tapping a punch or a kick, and absolutely nothing is happening, then you guess it the bot avatar unleash on me when clearly I had the win with one punch or kick, my controls just would not respond, in boxing you are instructed to protect yourself at all times, but how can you when you guys throttled us back, sounds familiar? kind of how apple was throttling back on the iPhone's performance! You guys are throttling us on our performance, please just stop it, again! Ain't nobody trying spend a grip of money to send your kids through college to play a pretty decent game, let it be our skills only that defines the win or defeat, not a built in latency gate which slant the victory in your favor, again it's a pretty decent game and you get hooked, so as James Brown said it, "please please please" fix the track and remove the latency so I can gladly give you that 5th ⭐️.Version: 1.10.0
✓ The Highs and LowsFirst of all before all the moans, this is a fantastic mobile based game. One of the best no doubt. Great graphics, gameplay and overall a great continuation of Shad 2. But as expected, as the additional downloads become necessary to progress, the connection and server issues comes to light!!! This is spoiling the greatness of this game, as well as causing massive frustration to many players on the verge of completing levels or guardians, only the be frozen out with your win not recognised!!! Now I’m having problems connecting to the home screen? Please look into these connection issues as this game is certainly worth saving and I’m hoping I won’t have to give it up just as it getting really good. Is it worth downloading? Of Course! ✓ Amazing gameI’ve played sf2 and I have to say that sf3 is as good if not better. The game is smooth is always fun to play. I saw other reviews saying that they had a problem with levelling up because you can only gain xp from the main quest and that they can’t beat the boss because they don’t have the stronger weapons which are unlocked in the level after. I have to disagree with that because I beat the boss many times when it was on impossible which I have to say is the only flaw with this game because when something is impossible you shouldn’t have a chance to beat it and when the boss was on insane it felt like I was playing on easy. ✓ Good, but...Being a fan of shadow fight 2, i was delighted to see the “upgraded” version in the App Store. First hand, the graphics and being able to visually see your character earn a big thumbs up, the story seems to be just as good as the former and the addition of the shadow powers and perks are superb. However I am disappointed that a game with this much potential has fallen in the category of pay to win. The money you can make in game takes an absolute age to make to buy anything decent, let alone epic gear. Why can’t you sell old armours? Why can’t you sell weapons you don’t like or use? Why is there no survival mode? The pay to win scheme in this shadow fight has gone a step too far. Also ..the chests?! 3 hours to unlock a common that usually contains the most useless gear... come on.. ✓ Get it if you haven’tOk first of all I like the fact that when you get to each boss for all the factions each boss has a certain attribute that makes them unique, I also liked the story so much once I’d finished the game 2 weeks ago I deleted it then reinstalled it so I could do it again and It didn’t save where I was so I could start the whole game again, my favourite part is the wide verity of weapons, armour and abilities it really sets it apart from its competitors and predecessor Sf2. ✓ Needs to add some featuresThis Game is excellent on how it was brought out and it’s an amazing time killer for when you are bored, This game is quite fun but the only feature for them to add is a refund purchases option when you accidentally but a pack or special offer etc. It has happened that I accidentally bought a special offer that was £15 and I wanted a refund and after looking for 15 minutes and going through the Support section there was none and now I’m stuck with items I never wanted and pretty much lost from my money. Edit: I have received back my money by sorting out the problem with apple support and cancelled by purchase. ✓ Can’t updateWhenever I go onto the game it tells me that it needs an update, then when I go on the App Store there aren’t any new updates for me (even after a few days). While I’m writing, I might as well complain. The story mode gets too hard too fast and so many times I’ve had to fight bosses (Sarge and Ito) while my chest was opening and it took forever before I got new gear to stand a chance. You need to change how much damage the enemies can do. My favourite part about SF2 was the offline battles but as soon as I got SF3 I was devastated that I need wi-fi to play, I really hoped that I would be able to play offline and earn money for packs..Version: 1.7.0

✓ Great game for those with a brain!Frankly I come across many games that are absolutely rubish! However so, Shadow Fight series’s has prevailed once again with a new adventure. Although Pay2Win is a biggy in this game, it doesn’t really matter to legit players who can still grind the challenge. The game isn’t hard, just challenging. It’s not unfair just because you don’t spend money on the game, it just means you lvl slower than those whom purchased their way. There’s no disadvantage in multiplayer, but only to lvl your hero to become more powerful. ✓ Better rewardsI like the game but it’s really hard to get any epic and legendary equipment/perks. I feel like you gotta but them in the shop. I just feel like when there’s some type of event, the value of the rewards should be way better. There should be less rare equipment/keys and more epic and legendary stuff. Because when I win rare stuff I don’t feel like I won anything because I always get rare stuff through missions, side quests and duels. I also think that players should be rewarded better based off of the difficulty of the mission. For example, there have been times where it took me a long time to beat a boss on insane or impossible. Then when I finally beat it I get rare equipment. If I win an insane or impossible mission I should be getting more gems, epic/legendary equipment, not rare equipment. This should really matter since the game gets harder as you progress. I shouldn’t have to keep buying great things, I should be rewarded well on my hard work. And it’s not like the items are cheap. There’s a lot expensive items in the store but most of the time I can’t get what I want because I don’t have enough money or gems. Like if the game is not gonna reward a lot of gems or money don’t make the items in the store really expensive. This also includes shadow energy. ✓ Version 1.10.0 ThoughtsI have been faithful to the game for a long time and have currently reached the most recent chapter in the story. I have enjoyed the game immensely even if the controls take some time getting used to do. I think that the new season mechanics are a great way to allow an equaliser between players and allow those who don't pay real money (like me) a chance to be able to attain Legendary and Epic equipment. Unfortunately, there seems to have been an overhaul in the fight mechanics as well. The opponent seems to be in a perpetual guard along with a continuous throw adaptation once you get close enough, forcing the player to rely on a system of only throwing weapons and backing away. To compound this, even the chance of attack during the forward step that the opponent takes is gone as the opponent guards during that as well, while your character is still vulnerable. Although, I understand that it has only been a few days since the update and I have played very little, I hope that the developers will note and confirm whether these changes are true and if so to improve the game. ✓ Great game, but has some issues.First of all I would like to say that I genuinely enjoy playing this game. It’s a great way to kill some time when you’re bored. However, this game is not without it’s faults. They’re more noticeable once you get to about chapter 2 in campaign and rank 3 in live fights, which aren’t actually live fights. They are more similar to CATS duel system. They use a players name and equipment, but are A.I. controlled. The biggest problem I have with this game are that once you get to a certain point, it gets to difficult to progress. When you’re at the katana boss in chapter 2 of campaign and at about rank 800 in duels. The way the game works is that you have to play duels to get better equipment to beat the campaign missions which in turn give you the xp needed to unlock higher level equipment also earned from duels. One you get to the guy with the katana you have to play duels to beat him. The problem is that the duel system is designed to keep you in check. It’ll let you win some battles and then give you a guy you can’t beat without better equipment, which you cannot earn without winning duels. Perhaps if chest unlocks were about 3 times shorter you could get equipment faster, but as is your inventory fills with chests so you cannot get more..Version: 1.6.2
✓ Good except for the duel systemI loved playing Shadow Fight 2 before this game released, and I was so excited to hear that it would have a multiplayer/PvP aspect incorporated into the base game instead of being added on later. When the game came out it felt a little sluggish but I got used to that (some of the controls do still feel unresponsive sometimes though). The game feels good overall with it’s PvE, story, and side quests, and I’m extremely glad they added survival. This brings me to the duels. They were fun at first, but the more you play, the more you realize that (even with really high level gear) it’s just a luck of the draw on whether you get someone who does enough damage that tickling you with a feather would be more effective or someone who will hit you with one kick while you’re blocking and take away a quarter of your health. I’ve been stuck at the same place in the Warrior Dan because my matches keep alternating between these two scenarios to the point where it doesn’t feel like I’ll make any more progress. It also just isn’t fun anymore to lose just because you apparently have “worse gear” than the other person (even though my ability and gear rating are both higher on the initial fight screen)..Version: 1.16.0

✓ Free to play in ps4 maybe?First off I’ve gotta say this is the best game I’ve ever played on mobile that is free to play and it is better than all games that cost money on the iPhone and mobile in general. Please make this a free to play game on ps4 just revamped because I would play this all day and I’m not joking. The bosses are cool and the different chapters and gameplay you get to experience with the opening cinematic being console level graphics and the game as a whole with the lore and world building is some of the best I’ve seen on mobile as well. This deserves to be at least a ps4 exclusive or sold on steam, it has that type and kind of potential. 5 stars out of 5 and didn’t even have to think about the rating I’d like to see what your opinions on it being on console is and please tell the developers and team because I love this game and I really think it has the potential for sales in marketing for a free to play game with even more expansive cosmetics and a 3 to 4 month season pass which I see the game already has that it seems like. ✓ Great game just needs a few tweaksThe Games great it has a really enjoyable combat experience. Really would appreciate though if legendary or epic items were easier to upgrade. I’ve got some really good gear however it costs to much to upgrade with shadow energy and once you get to a high enough level you really need your legendary items to do well. Now I’m in a constant grind trying to get items strong enough to fight June in shadow form. I don’t know maybe make it so if a legendary item you have shows up in the store to upgrade, it’s free or the same price as a card package taking away the randomness of it all..Version: 1.11.0
✓ The micro transactions aren’t that bad and here’s whyI played Shadow Fight 2 and comparing this one to the previous I would say it improves in some areas and in others it’s lacking. Some improvements I think is the combat. I personally like the different fighting styles with each faction. Some have strengths and their own weaknesses as well. One think that needs improvement on the the weapon balancing. I feel there are just some weapons that have combos that can be a bit much at times. I don’t really have a problem with the micro-transactions. I haven’t spend any real money into this game and I don’t plan on it. I think people are being harsh about them in this game. It’s a free game you guys. This is how they have to make money. I can’t relate to the people who say this game is pay to win. Of course there is gonna be that super duper legendary armor and weapons that you can only get through buying the card packs, but having the over powered armor sort of ruins the point of the game. ✓ Suggestions and feedbackFirst off there is Way too much micro transactions. gems makes coins obsolete, the packs cost gems an the best items cost gems it should be coins to buy new weapon packs and shadow energy to upgrade them, gems should be used for shortening wait times. Overall gameplay is great except for the fact of waiting for side quests and survivals those modes should just be continuous why do I have to wait 7 hours just to play one quest or round of survival, that makes absolutely no sense. Events yeah but side quests especially they need to be fully continuous. If you can’t decode gems out of the game bring back fight energy use the gems for purchasing gear packs, coins for upgrades since they’re easier to earn an upgrades are always required to have the best chance, and use shadow energy as fight energy where it’s aquatinted to the players level so each regular story quest cost 50% of shadow energy side quest cost 25% survival fights cost 75% and boss fights cost 100% so with the players level, a level 1 would have 100% shadow energy total to use for main, side, or survival quests, level 2=200%, level 3=300%,etc. basically the higher your level the more you can fight. A fully depleted shadow energy bar or icon refills after 2hrs no matter the level. Cause you want to give players a break from the game but not to long of a break that they forget it till the next day/week/month..Version: 1.18.5

✓ I hate this DIFFICULTY CURVE!Why play the game for only a week, just for the game to become almost impossible to progress through for free players in only a couple of days! The thing is, when u get to a point in late chapter 1 (idk if it is my luck but still), you will get to a point where u need to get better equipment to progress but u lose every single round of duels when the trash matchmaking computer faces u with a higher ranked enemy / player, who has better equipment than u, and then that player kills u swiftly every round and u don’t stand a chance! Developers. U need to fix this ASAP! (Fixes: Making the matchmaking more power based and ramping down the difficulty later in the campaign.) ✓ The others are wrongPeople say this game is too hard. This game seems quite unique, so maybe it’s just a specific skill that these people don’t have. I recently read a review complaining that the CPU’s kick harder, but most likely this person was using a weaker armour. The unarmed combat in this game is dependent on the armour, so most likely this person was fighting people with better armour. For armour and weapons and helms and ranged items, there are three categories. The Legion are strong, but hit less frequently, so would be classified as a ‘tank’ in other games. The Dynasty hit frequently but with less power. The Heralds hit precisely. I have no idea what the game means by ‘precise’ but I like it. ✓ Why are there hate commentsI don’t understand why there is a single hate comment, they probably don’t realise this game is completely free and it requires a lot of effort and money to put together a game that is so intricate and full of mechanics. ✓ Amazing game, but I feel this new update ruined it.I’m a long time player of this game, at the start of every season I would spend a few days getting back to the legend rank and a few days more to get to a worthy opponent. I didn’t really like the fact that it dropped me back to warrior at the start of every season, so I thought maybe the duelling system could do with some changes - this is not what I had in mind. I hate the fact that I can only do as many duels as it takes to open a duel chest. I really don’t like the new ranking system. And I seem to always be put against opponents who are much stronger then me. So far, I’ve had a fight were the opponent didn’t hit me once but I still ran out of time before I could get them below half health. Most the time I’m in a situation where my critical hit or head hit against them does the same amount of damage that they do when I block them, and then when they get an ordinary attack of… it does at least an eighth of my health. Gotta be honest, I don’t like it. If the duelling system had just been changed so people in the upper leagues didn’t drop back down to warrior every season, i would have been happy, but this went too far - and I’m not happy about it.
