✓ Looks good and is just the right challenge...Pros: it’s a really sweet game- cheerful colours and quirky details. It’s relaxed enough so you’d not find yourself tensed up (surprisingly common with games) But it has enough to think about so that it keeps your attention (well for me anyway!) The cute little figure at the top glows when you reach a certain amount and will raise a block for you to help. The spell to freeze the chomping monster is handy -it’s free you just watch advertisement for other games. You collect diamonds throughout- so if your patient it is possible to build up enough diamonds to buy the little features on the bottom- it’s adorable! Cons: you would need to pay to have the adds removed and it’s not permanent. To get to the higher levels you need to buy more diamonds. You get a bit caught out if your determined to beat your own score. Anything that can help take your mind off Covid related issues helps - just not if it starts costing too much. ✓ Great game. Ads awful!I love playing the cat version where the blocks are meowing cats. So fun! But the ads are so predatory and long! I get so angry after waiting and waiting only to be forced to click an x that actually takes you to the app store, again and again, until it FINALLY lets you leave to go back the game. At which point I feel so angry I barely want to play anymore. Be careful if you have kids that play the free version, cuz these ads are designed to get you reeled in to a purchase whether you like it or not. It would be great if we could just have regular ads that dont seek to manipulate and trick you. Also, I like that you are occasionally rewarded with supplies to help win the game but the frequency ought to be greater. When I run out of supplies and die, I don’t want to play again for a long time. I’ve enjoyed this game for years mainly because of the cat component along with the strategy game. As you play you level up, and initially I believe this unlocked the items you could use in the game, then at a certain point it just became new hats for your shaman to wear to look pretty. I'm not saying I want more for levelling up, it just seems weird to present it as a levelling up gift when it has no functionality. If it was presented as "Costume change!"/"Wardrobe Item!" then I think I would be less confused, but instead it is presented as a levelling up gift, but it's not really a gift to the player: just a change in an element of the visual of the gameplay. Yes my shaman looks very pretty, but am I playing this game for the shaman, hence why it is a "gift"? If so, I missed that plot entirely, but otherwise I thought the game had no narrative and the shaman was just a mascot..Version: 2.3.07
