✓ An app that actually works - nice!I had a Symphonisk & SonosOne SL as a mismatched pair I wanted to use as rear surrounds (to match up with my Playbase). The normal Sonos app will not allow this. But Sono Sequencer allowed me to accomplish this - awesome- thanks SonoSequencer! That being said, it’s not very intuitive & hard to understand the concept of “sequences”. ✓ Great App that Saved my SonosI had a Sonos Play One for several years as my kitchen music system. Despite its evident sound quality, most of the household stopped using it in favour of a portable Anker speaker, due to the lack of Airplay 2 and the clunk factor of the Sonos app. Ideally I was looking to add a speaker to it to make a stereo pair, but Sonos wouldn’t let me do that with an Airplay 2 enabled speaker. And so it was that the Play very nearly ended up on the scrap heap and I very nearly bought a set of AudioEngine speakers to replace it. Then I found an article recommending this app as the solution. I now have a stereo paired Sonos One second gen with the Play. They sound superb together. The Anker has been banished and the household has happily scrapped the Sonos app. Sonos should be happy ‘cos I didn’t throw their old speaker away and I spent more money to buy a new one. Why Sonos refuses to build this app’s functionality into its own app I just don’t know - they’d sell more kit if they did. But in the meantime, a massive thank you to SonoSequencr for enabling me to run my speakers in the way I wanted to configure them and making the impossible easy..Version: 7.6.0
✓ Incredible app that will give you control backIf you’re reading this you probably know by now that Sonos are greedy arrogant plonkers who think that they should be able to micro manage and hobble how we use the speakers we buy from them. This app gives you back control of your speakers and lets you use them however you want - in my case pairing non-identical speakers into one setup. I bought two identically-named Ikea Sonos speakers, one is a bookshelf and one a lamp. To my shock, after installing them in my house I discovered Sonos wouldn’t let them work as surround sound speakers because of TINY differences in their sound profile. What pretentious arrogant nonsense! Thank God then for this app. It lets you set up any Sonos into a surround sound system and even lets you tune how loud they are. Something Sonos could EASILY let you do with their own app if they weren’t so precious. The app can be confusing to use but if you email them they’ll get back to you SO fast to walk you through the setup (it’s easy once you know how) Best app ever! Thank you!!!!!.Version: 5.5.2

✓ Allows pairing of old and newSonos have too high an opinion of themselves and won’t let you form a stereo pair of different devices presumably due to some perfectionist hi fi view. I bought a couple of new devices to spread around so I could benefit from AirPlay 2. This brilliant app allows me to pair a Symfonisk with a Play 1 and I’m well pleased. Be warned though, the app is not intuitive at first sight. The bit you want is the “config” link against a device where you can add a stereo pair. You can carry on using the Sonos app or you can use this app by itself. And of course I can now use AirPlay without upgrading every device..Version: 5.11.0
✓ Amazing App!I have been using this about six months now. The longer I use it the happier I get it. As others have said, these features should be built into the Sonos app. Since they’re not, this wonderful app provides a much needed automation at a very small price. ✓ Improves Sonos experience, great app, great supportThis app allows me to enable 5.1 surround sound with my Sonos Playbar, Sonos Play 1 and Sonos Play One. This configuration is not currently offered by Sonos. After enabling the configuration with this app, the settings are retained and recognized by the official Sonos app. Now my surround sound works great and I’m able to fully utilize the functionality of the speakers I purchased. ✓ Good appLike this controller a lot. So far the only remote that doesn't have to reconnect when adjusting volume when watching TV. There is some weird splash screen in German on the watch so that could be skipped altogether and the app would be even faster..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Great supplement for SonosThis app is very interesting and acts as a kind of system controller and provides a number of unmet needs from the Sonos app. For example one can have sleep timer at any timer value compared to Sonos’s 5 choices. One can instantly group speakers according to predefined preferences. We have over 10 rooms and this app makes it a snap to manage a group according to time of day, mood or activities when you are in different parts of your home. There are a whole lot of functions customizable and available from one screen rather than having to wade through the layers of menus in the Sonos app. I don’t think I have learned to make full use of Sonos Sequencer but it clearly has a lot of capabilities and potential. For the price, it is worth a try for those looking to maximize the Sonos experience especially in a multi zone environment..Version: 3.2.2

✓ Filling the Sonos functionality gapWith Sonos removing direct play from iOS devices other than via Airplay 2 I had a bunch of Play 1’s that would no longer be any use to me without a new supported Sonos 1....which I purchased to facilitate continued use of my older SONOS Play 1 investments. VERY disappointed to then find I couldn’t pair Play 1’s with the new Sonos 1.....but EXTREMELY please with finding SONOSEQUENCR which has done the config Sonos couldn’t. ✓ Can confirm this still worksLike you, I was annoyed that I couldn’t stereo pair my Sonos one with my Play:1. I was also skeptical as to whether the app would work. I am pleased to say it works completely. You don’t need to sign into your Sonos account. As soon as it’s setup it recognises the pair on the Sonos app. You can tune both speakers with true play together instead of separately etc. Would recommend fully. ✓ Solves major problem with the Sonos app!Love SonoSequencr! So, let’s say you’re listening to a group of speakers, and you need to bump up the bass a little bit. With the official Sonos app, you’ll need to navigate through six or eight menus for EACH speaker to adjust the bass. Painful. With the SonoSequencr app, you can setup a command that adjusts Bass or Treble with ONE Tap, across ALL your speakers! Dev (Marcus) is very responsive and updates the app with new good stuff. ✓ Great 1st versionThis is a brilliant app and I look forward to new features in future. I have a few different 'macros' for grouping certain players with set volumes, one for going to bed (turn all off, ungroup, start radio station on beside unit, set volume, set sleep timer...) Would love to see integration of more music services, setting alarms and ideally some time based triggers within the app to start a macro at a set time/day. ✓ AwesomeThank god this app exists. I'm a new owner of the Sonos Beam and was gutted when I realised I couldn't create Alexa routines to schedule Night Mode or Speech Enhancement. Not currently supported by Sonos despite users asking for years apparently. I've been looking for alternatives or other ways to do it and came across this app on Reddit. It does exactly what I need. I've set Night Mode to automatically turn on late in the evening and turn off in the morning. Subscription is also offered at a very generous price so couldn't be more happy. ✓ Fantastic App - one small requestThis is a great app for those with a lot of Sonos Zones/Rooms/Devices. I use this to group my outdoor zones together when we are by the pool, and my kitchen and family room zones together. I also use it to toggle the surrounds attached to my Beam. The only thing missing in my opinion is a add/remove surrounds sequence. I hope they add this as I occasionally grab one of my Play1s that I use for surrounds and take it into the garage, or into a bathroom. Great app!!.Version: 5.11.0

✓ Essential appThis removes so many pain points and frustrations of the official Sonos app. Being able to create macros for repeated actions is brilliant. I love this app and use it every day. Even considering purchasing an apple watch just for this! Additions I would love in the future is a toggle "shuffle" included in the commands, and deezer as a music source. ✓ My Surround speakers are now working!Credit to the author. This app has now allowed me to setup an older Play:1 together with a new One SL as surround speakers to a beam that was simply not possible with the Sonos app (why not Sonos?) - as it will not allow that combination. Once the config has been setup in this app, you can then (if you want to) simply return to the Sonos app and continue as before. I may well use some of the other features, however, being able to overcome this one annoying Sonos limitation is well worth the cost of this app..Version: 7.1.0

✓ Saved me £200Recently bought a Sonos One with the sole intention of making a stereo pair with a Play 1. Disappointed to find out this is not supported by Sonos as only speakers of the same type can be paired. £1.99 later and they are paired using this app. No need to spend £200 on another speaker just to create a stereo pair. Highly recommended. If you do pair these speakers then the One must be on the left otherwise some functions will not work in the official app..Version: 3.3.1
