✓ Easy and fun, great for skiing togetherMakes it so easy to see where everyone is when we’re out skiing together. Chat function is great. I don’t have to keep calling everyone all the time! ✓ Great by yourself or with friends - now with Rockies!Update ———— And now Canada and the North East! People who are complaining obviously didn't read the description. The supported resorts are listed and this isn't a hardcore stats app. This is about skiing with your friends or tracking your runs by name (no other app does this!) Anyone who has done any skiing or snowboarding knows how hard it is to find people on the slopes. Plus just getting lost wondering which run you are on. The app does a great job of showing you exactly where you are on the map, as well as making it easy to coordinate with your friends. Perfect!.Version: 3.0
✓ Great app, good battery usageTried this at Big Bear for the first day of my season, and it worked great. Intuitive, aesthetically pleasing and works. It'll email you a summary at the end of your day which was a nice touch. Wish for snow!.Version: 1.1
✓ Great app for skiers/snowboardersThis is a GREAT app! I love how it shows the locations of my friends and I on the trail map. We used to try calling/texting to meet up but this app is far more effective. I used this app at Kirkwood and Squaw and had no issues..Version: 1.2
✓ Great app but uses batteryThe app was very useful for finding family at Northstar. It accurately shows what lift or run each person is on and how close to the end of the run they are. The AppleWatch interface is excellent. You don’t need to pull out your phone to see where people are! Improving the battery usage would be appreciated. We got in the habit of making sure our phones were 100% charged before the day and then only turning on the app when we were ascending the Gondola immediately before our 1st run. Even so our batteries (iPhone 5s) had difficulty lasting the day. Battery improvement suggestions for the developers: 1) Add a setting to decrease the frequency of location updates. It seems like the app updates your location every minute. That’s accurate but burns battery. If our battery is stressed it would be better to allow us to update location every 3-5 minutes. 2) If the app reports you are “not in the park” then the location update frequency should decrease dramatically (to once every 15 minutes at most). 5 stars because this app is what a watch-enabled ski group app should be. Helpful. Easy. Hopefully the battery situation will be improved before my next trip to the mountain..Version: 1.1
✓ Great App!This is the best app for skiing in California. Very accurate. Makes it so easy to meet and find friends on the mountain. My boyfriend and I used it at Squaw and loved it. During a storm we could easily view each other's location on our Apple Watches and see what % the other was down the trail. I'm a beginner and he's advanced and always found me without having to iMessage or call. Highly recommend! We got all our friends to download it. Also, serves as a great trail map..Version: 1.1
✓ US & CAD west coast ski resortsSuch a useful app for stats and finding your friends on the slopes. Highly recommend for skiing in the US and west coast of Canada..Version: 7.0
✓ Finally a ski slope tracker that got it rightI have tried severa "track friends on the slopes" apps and most of them fall short. This one did a great job in the following areas (which were my key care abouts) (1) realtime updates of where your "party" is skiing. Clearn notes of not only what lift and run they are on but realtime updates of where they are on the lift or "run". For a lift it shows 0% when in line or just getting on. Then quick progressions as they ride up the chair with 10% increments. Then at the top of the run, it notes 0% when at the top and again progresses in 10% increments until at the bottom of the run which notes 100%. It was so reliable, that I could tell when the chair stopped and restarted. (2) Very power efficient. I was concerned that it would drain my battery and it did not! It also had cool messaging capabilities which I did not try but looks interesting. The only "shortcomming" is that it has a limited number of slopes, but I'm sure that will increase with time. Fantastic technology and glad to have finally have found an app that works in this space!!.Version: 2.1
✓ Super ConvenientI was able to use the app successfully at Mammoth and it was so much more convenient than trying to find my buddies by phone. The tracking feature is pretty interesting to look at for data heads..Version: 1.2
