✓ Qadr AllahSalam everyone, First all I think it’s hilarious that everyone in reviews write these long reviews but on the app itself people barely take the time to write in their bio. A bit ironic. Anyway , I think this is a great platform to meet Muslims. Not everyone will meet someone but some will. I read comments people are blaming the app but in reality it’s just humans will always be humans. We have to be optimistic and pray to Allah , hope for the best. I’ve been using this app on and off for a while; I haven’t met anyone yet but I know others who have and that gives me hope. Insha allah khair. ✓ Too many inactive usersThe app is built as a platform to search for your other half - and it does provide that ability. HOWEVER, the fact is there’s just too many inactive users. When everyone is time sensitive, this creates a hurdle for users who have to scroll through ghost profiles. I suggest inactive users (say after 2-3 months) be deactivated until they sign in again - this is a win-win for everyone. I should also mention, admin are very responsive within the app, which is nice to see!.Version: 6.7.1
✓ It works with patienceIt’s a good app if used for the correct reasons. I’d been on muzmatch for about a year. Their were some that weren’t genuine and you tend to figure that out quick as you get to know someone. Persevere and patience eventually the right one you click with will match up. I have matched with someone like minded with a good sense of humour. We have talked non stop for 4 weeks before meeting once we met up things grew more and now talks of marriage and getting families involved is the the next step. ✓ Good app but one issueIf you are in Muslim, that is serious about a Halal relationship, I would recommend this app. My one note to the developers is regarding the instant chat feature. When you send a chat request there is no guarantee that the recipient will accept. I have had many instances where my request to chat has been declined. I want to be able to receive my instant chat back to my account if the recipient declines, because otherwise it is unfair. ✓ Don’t marry your cuz, get Muzz!I knew of two people who had met their spouses through Muzz so I decided to give it a shot. Alhamdullilah it is such a well developed app. So user friendly! I would definitely recommend the Gold feature because it makes it so much easier to filter what you’re looking for in a partner. Travel mode was the icing on the cake for me, because that is how I matched with my husband! Muzz provides Muslims from all demographics and backgrounds a really great platform to connect with their potential partner, and I would recommend 11/10! ♥️.Version: 7.56.0
✓ UpdateOk last time I reviewed I gave this a 3/5. It’s up to a 4/5 lol. So the app I feel has more serious choices/folks. Which is good. There is still a lot of weirdos but that comes with any app so nothing against muzmatch. The reason I won’t give this a full 5/5 yet is because the interface could use work. I hate how I have to “visit” profiles that like me to like or pass them. Especially when I wanna say no basically. I wish there was a way were your list of folks who “like” you can be LISTED going down instead of that horizontal scroll - with info included and the option to like back or dislike without visiting the page. But maybe this is the app’s way of us making sure our decision isn’t based on looks etc. And honestly it isn’t I just keep getting the wrong sect guys liking me and I want to pass them lol. So I guess I see the reasoning of why we must visit a page but I think knowing they’re getting that notification that I’ve visited their page is weird. ✓ I found my love, my life, my everything!Muzmatch... I’ve never been the type of person to meet anyone online. When I joined muzmatch after listening to a few people’s experiences I was nervous. I didn’t know what to expect and felt like this was all wrong. When I did join, I had a very pleasant experience. My responses were amazing, I did speak to a few guys but by doing so I learnt how to really find out what I truly want from my future spouse - eg non smoker, location, even their voice or humour. I found many guys on here genuinely do want to get married which was the opposite of what I heard previously. Now muzmatch.. know that I am eternally grateful for joining. ✓ Amazing app, just needs to improve a bitInstalled this app 4 years ago for the first time and I have to say that it has come a long way since then. The interface and the verification system is really good. But please add a few more thing: 1) Please add a feature to see whether a profile is an active one or not so that we do not waste our time by matching. 2) Please add a prompt where we can select whether we are interested or open to dating/marrying a person from other race or ethnicity. Hence, we would be able to see the filtered profiles. This might seem racist but this is so crucial. 3) Please do not allow anyone outside our basic filters to dm us. 4) Please add a prompt where people can select whether they are interested in a long-distance relationship. 5) Please advertise about the app in South Asia, especially in Bangladesh. No one knows about the app here and it is so disappointing. ✓ Good appIt took me around 2 weeks to find my *now* husband on this app. Highly satisfied. In my two weeks on the app, I spoke to hundreds of guys from muzmatch. I ended up meeting 3 of them, all seemed very serious about marriage and had great personal qualities and were degree-qualified. So I would definitely recommend muzmatch to Muslims looking for marriage. If I had any message of improvements for the developers, it would be in relation some online stalking and trolling I received as a result of being on the app. To elaborate, I found men from aboard would auto-match me on the app and then somehow find all my social media from muzmatch and send me around 200 messages a day, which made me feel a bit unsafe. Hence, I would recommend to remove this auto-match feature for foreign men to match with women aboard (eg in the uk); especially when these women have selected to not be shown to men outside the uk (like I did)..Version: 6.4.7

✓ Much better than other apps at free levelAs the title states, the app is MUCH better than others at the free level, as you get a variety of filters you can choose from. This takes a lot of the guesswork out of the matching process. If you want to refine the search more, premium works well. The major problem (in my opinion) that this app faces is in its ability to accurately place locations for users. One user had her location bounce from London, to two towns in Birmingham in the the space of one day. You need to allow users to select their own location. There are also profiles which state “wrong age but can’t change it”, which makes me wonder how many other profiles may have incorrect details. You need to allow users a one-time change to these details at the very least!.Version: 6.0.4

✓ Good n badNot a bad app. It’s my first time trying to find someone they an app. In most cases had to unmatch because of flakey people. They tend to disappear 😂. Sometimes the app shows the profile of others changes and shows my profile when trying to view it . I don’t know if it’s a glitch or something but it happened to me few times. It’s a little annoying. Also my messages go slow even tho my WiFi and data is completely working on everything else. I am getting decent and consistent matches compared to any other apps but there’s just 1 annoying bug issue that is easily fixable but annoying as a consumer. Bug issue description: when pressing either ‘X’ or ‘ ❤️’ after several profiles go by 4/5 times the swiping won’t register to the next person and will just be stuck when ive pressed either. ✓ Bots?I get likes all the time. I respond fairly quickly and never hear from them again. It's no wonder why so many of us are headed into our 30's and still single. Muslims are terrible at this. Part of it isn't our fault as our parents told us not to talk to the opposite gender all our lives and now we are headed to or in our 30's and they are wondering where are wives and husbands are. Oh yeah, also I think this site has bots. I don't believe all these profiles are genuine. My social circle shrunk with regards to Muslims as I left college. People tend to move all with life for various reasons. So I gave this a shot and it's either bots or you're so paranoid and introverted (perhaps egotistical) that you can't send a message or even reply? One girl changes her mind? Possible. But over and over again? "It may just be you" you say? But it doesn't go past "hi" lol. Cool, so sit there then and wonder why you can't find the right person. I much rather be alone than parade myself on this anymore. I get more attention from non-Muslim woman than my own - it's absurd. ✓ Found my soulmateI downloaded this app when the pandemic first started. At first, I was hesitant on finding my other half online but I gave it a shot. I was on this app for 3 months, and there were some people that weren’t the right fit for me but just when I was about to give up on this app, I found my other half. I spoke to my match on the app for about a day before we exchanged numbers. I was living in Bahrain at the time & my (now) husband was living in London. We both were scared at first as to how this whole long distance was going to work but Alhumdulilah we made it through & got married this past November. It was extremely difficult planning our wedding considering the whole pandemic & travel restrictions but Alhumdulilah it all worked out in the end. ✓ Great app, could use some tweaksThis app has improved a lot since I first downloaded it a few months ago. The texting feature is much better now. There are a lot of profiles on muzmatch and the people on it come from very diverse groups so I think this app is for anyone looking to find a spouse. I also like how you can set certain filters so the profiles you're seeing are more compatible with you. However, one thing I find odd is that the option to filter out profiles based on prayer level and practicing level is only exclusive to premium members. Considering the fact that this is a Muslim matchmaking app, I would think that compatibility in deen is the number one priority, so everyone should have access to these filters. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford the upgrade, so it can be frustrating trying to sort through profiles without these two filters on. Another suggestion I would make to the developers is to add a zabiha vs non zabiha option, because some Muslims use 'halal' and 'zabiha' interchangeably, whereas others do not, and this can cause some confusion..Version: 4.0.1

✓ 🤨The app is cool and is definitely one my favorite apps out of the other dating apps I tried. Two things that really bother me is the ad that keeps popping up encouraging you buy a membership. It’s annoying and ruins the flow of things. It’s like I’m navigating a mine field when going through the app trying to be careful to not have an ad pop up. Lastly the fact that you can run out of likes when you DON’T like someone is whack. Coming from Tinder and Hinge this is something that bugged me and that doesn’t make me want to buy a membership more. It just ruins the user experience for me. ✓ Found the one!!A lot of weirdos on the app but also a lot of well intentioned people too. You need to listen to you gut when red flags show and stick to your principles. At times I wanted to quit the app because I thought I was too conservative for it based on some of the interactions and behaviours of people I had matched with. When I saw the app though it just really made me happy to know that there are places where racists and just mean people, are left out. It’s uncomfortable and difficult to be on an app that suggests marital matches but comes across as a tinder hook up. Please don’t use Islam as a cover up as vulnerable women are being harmed by trusting the app and the ill intentions of many of the men on the app. Had a number of creepy dates and one was a close call ... really makes you question the ethics and value of the men within the Muslim ummah. Although I eventually did not get married to the person I met through here I did want to leave a review before any changes following the legal battle are made. This app honestly gave me the confidence to put myself out there and realise there actually are kind and decent people out in the world and give me hope I can find someone. If muzzmatch wasn’t here I may not have found that hope or push that I can meet someone eventually. ✓ It’s a great app!Hi, I think physical attraction is an important part of online dating, if not a key driver that makes people want to initiate conversations with people they are attracted to. But in a world where there’s no such thing as online dating for example when meeting a person face-face I think liking a person goes beyond how good a person looks in their photos as sometimes this doesn’t do the person justice fully. In most cases and I’m sure many people will agree that enabling a feature in the app to upload a video, like Hinge and Bumble, captures a persons facial expressions and will hand in hand with photos. It can help or hurt you. There are people on there that genuinely looking for marriage and there are people on there looking to mess about (Both genders). After a few experiences you’ll able to differentiate the two very easily. Don’t get put off the App. It does what is says and more have to give it to the muzmatch team for making a platform like this likes of which has ever been seen before. ✓ Green CardI didn’t quite settle down with anyone I’ve met on Muzmatch. The first guy asked me to marry him in a rush even though he isn’t a permanent resident/ citizen in the country, having zero job and means to provide for a family. I felt he was just out looking for someone to give him a Green card. I tried to help out by assisting both morally and financially fi sabilillah but his behavior and demeanor towards other people, use of profanity, racist comments, quick temper, manipulative sneaky ways and the way he pressures me to financially play the role of the man, sign up on a mortgage, leading me to do haram sexual acts, and the pressure told me this isn’t the man I’d want to spend a lifetime with. ✓ Finally and thank you!It was a difficult nerve wrecking journey I would say exhausting but it was all worth it. One has to broaden their expectations otherwise it becomes almost impossible to meet someone. There are all sorts of people around here and I came across many of them. Encouragement from my family and the huge choice made it possible. I am not from the UK and hardly have any interaction with Muslims as my social circle is all non-Muslims. Due to this it was becoming impossible to meet someone until a friend recommended muzmatch. That was the best recommendation I had. It wasn’t without challenges but all is well that ends well. ✓ Definitely better than the other appsI would consider myself as one of the success stories Alhamdullilah. I am probably one of the rare cases here but I managed to find my husband within 5 days of downloading the app (back in summer 2022) and had our nikkah 7 months later. Alhamdullilah we are happier than ever. My husband didn’t have the same ease, he was on the app on and off for 2 years when he found me and did have a few matches before that didn’t work out. The app itself is pretty good, much better than other ones I’ve tried. I used the free version and didn’t feel forced to subscribe and had access to most of the functions. The down sides is that I don’t agree with functions such as sharing profiles - the last think you’d want to happen is to be judged/talked about by your match’s friends and family so early on, before connections have been formed. All in all, I’d definitely advise to give it a go if traditional routes are not for you. Just definitely keep in mind that you can find your fair share of the not-so-nice profiles but every now and again you may find a diamond in the rough inshaAllah..Version: 7.30.0
