✓ Take the stress awayI used hello fresh about 3yrs ago and loved it then but then my children came home from uni so stopped it. Now they are older I mentioned about starting it again as I find it a pain trying to decide what to cook, they agreed so here I am telling people how good it is. First of all it take the stress of what to cook and also you can look at the menu and change them if you don’t like them, it helps with portion control as I am a feeder and they are all balanced. Most of them only take between 30-40 min, the value for money is a plus as well because when you go shopping you tend to buy all of rubbish and stuff you don’t need so i do an online shop for the other stuff I need for my home so it is a win win. They arrive well packed and you can choose what day is best for you and my family are enjoying them so far. I would recommend this to everybody as it is good to try different things and it is healthy so give it a try..Henneykat67Version: 3.11

✓ Worth it for the timersThe app is great for amending delivery dates and choosing meals easily. For the cooking it’s great having timers, however it only seems to be on some elements of the cook and not others which is disappointing. It’s also VERY frustrating when it says to, eg, ‘slice the onion (see ingredients list)’ but there is no way to easily access the ingredients list without exiting the ‘cook’ mode and having to flick through it again from scratch. There is an ingredients menu at the bottom of the page where it says to refer to it, however it only has the items in that step pictured and doesn’t mention the quantity. Adding this in and ensuring timers were available for all steps would make it 10/10..Scrambled megVersion: 3.14

✗ Attempt at Accessability?I am vision impaired and thought the idea of food being selected and delivered, with on screen recipes would be great. I use voiceover, which kind of works with HelloFresh, but with a few small changes, it could be great. A couple of issues, the app has long instructions that can only be read out in one go, so frequently I need to remember about 5 things to do in one tap on the screen. This could be fixed easily by breaking up the instructions into seperate paragraphs. Similarly the ingredients are all read out in one go, instead of being seperate items. Finally the items in settingg are not labeled, so very difficult to access them. The app is fairly good, but for the vision impaired, it could potentially be great..AblogreviewerVersion: 2.33.1

✗ Fresh produce? Not all the timeAs any family I plan my meals out for the week. I follow the plan of putting the stuff away in the correct place as soon as possible after delivery. I look at the use by date on the meat (especially) and on the other aspects of the meal eg salad / vegetables etc that come in the respective bags for the recipes. On a couple of occasions we have come to open the meat and it has gone past usability despite still being in date. Eg when opening a chicken packet (still in date) but it was grey and its smell was repulsive. I did complain and got £10 off the next box. However the next box the salad, whilst also still in date had gone past the point of no return to use and again another meat product in the next box wasn’t great either. I started out loving these but find now I skip weeks and weeks as I really am not that sure anymore! I keep going back to give it another shot but the last two times I have be left disappointed..AakleoVersion: 3.3
