✓ A couple of bugs but not badI love filming and the deathlens but the app is a little broken. There's a couple bugs two to be exact and well they're pretty major. There's one that won't stop recording I press the button off getting a line and it doesn't stop recording it just keeps making new clips until I reinstall the app! The other one is pretty bad it doesn't let me save clips onto my phone until I turn off and on my phone. It's bad I wouldn't recommend it until it's fixed sadly. I love filming the baker, deathwish, and the Shake junt team they're pretty much the same people but yeah please fix this don't disappoint more people! I like the app but it's just broken right now!.Version: 1.0
✓ 2 essential functions brokenI have a brand new iPhone 6 and using this app the exposure never stays locked, the focus never stays locked, it always attempts to readjust itself after a couple of tries, no reply from deathlens, I'm sure I'm not alone here..Version: 1.5
✓ Needs patchingIt needs patching the record button hardly wants to work the auto focus will just adjust in the middle of a clip or the auto brightness will go from day time to night time in a second and ruin the clip and there should be a better way of going through and deleting clips and for it to save your settings when you close out and only change them when you go in settings aside from that its a great app that has a lot of potential.Version: 1.0

✓ Too many bugs but it comes out goodIt's really good for filming skateboarding lines and clips and looks like a dvx but sometimes it doesn't film and when u do a trick like trey flip a 6 stair, it doesn't flim and takes you a long time to land it again.Version: 1.3
✓ Pretty good app. Still got a bit of tweaking left.Been using the app whenever I have a lens I haven't scratched. Features are great. Especially the auto focus control. Turning that off and getting rid of the vignette shake (only for the fisheye, wide angle isn't affected. I've used both) is awesome. But when I look through the footy, if I wanna swipe back to the previous clip it displays a blank screen and I have to re-enter the library of footy to see it. No biggie. Also sometimes the recording symbol is stuck looping as if I'm hitting record over n over again. Also the light exposure gets SUPER blown out even with exposure locked. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing but using my regular camera (iPhone 6S) app gets rid of that problem for the most part. Would recommend this all for sure though..Version: 1.6

✓ Videos won't let me play after recordingAs I tried to record my video it worked. Then after the video was recorded I pressed play and it will not let me play the video also the steady cam will not come on. Please update this app I know it was only two dollars but it's worth it and I bought the camera for 40. ✓ Rip-offBought the lens. Sick. Paid for the app. Rad. App updates and now I have to pay again to record over 10 seconds? Will the next update limit my clips to 3 seconds unless I shell out more cash? Gross oversight on your part. ✓ FIX THIS APPI love filming with the death lens but this app makes me so mad. After I finally land a trick I hit the stop recording button and it automatically starts a new clip and keeps doing that. To make this stop I have to close the app. After I do so I come back in to watch the trick that I just tried like 100 times and discover that it's not that even though it said it was filming. This app is messed up. Other than that one HUGE problem, the app is good. But as long as this bug is here it is not usable. Please fix this soon and I'll give it five stars. Thank you.Version: 1.0
✓ Its iteIt works about half of the time, and the other half it just doesn't. When I want to get a clip it records even when I press stop, and the recording comes out to half a second. Snapchat is more reliable but it has a restriction on the amount of time u can record.Version: 1.4

✓ CofounderAwesome that Deathlens products exist and the app is good but there are slight bugs and the app does crash from time to time. Two problems: 1) frozen black screen with record button still flashing 2) app will be clearly recording with flashing red light but the clip you just filmed will just disappear! Lost many banger makes due to this! :( Please fix it guys 🙏🏼.Version: 1.5
✓ Should be freeThere is no reason at all for this app to be two dollars, if somebody told me they had the choice of buying this app or two dollars worth of crack, I would tell them to buy the crack at least then they might feel a small glimmer of happiness witch is more then this piece of trash app could ever offer..Version: 2.2
✓ Does not work with iPhone 7 although they sell they lens for itUPDATE: App doesn't work with iPhone 7 The app NEEDS to be able to record 4:3 at 60fps. 30fps is awful for sports and looks even worse when slowed down for a ramped slow mo or any slow mo. If the point is to mimic a Vx1000 then 4:3 should be the priority. 2. The app should be able to begin and end record via the volume buttons on the phone so that problem number #3 isn't such an issue... 3. The app shouldn't reset the locked exposure and focus anytime the screen is touched. This happens often because the record button is very small and easy to miss when you're trying to hit it quickly to begin filming. Doing so means you have to refocus and reset the exposure to what you desire again. Once it's locked it should remain so until manually turned off in the settings. These are three very big issues with the app as it sits now. The app is good as it is, but feels very unrefined without these improvements which shouldn't be very difficult to make as they are all possible via the default camera on the iPhone. Thank you for you product and I hope more improvements are on the way..Version: 1.5

When looking through each clip sometimes a black screen will appear instead of the clip causing the app to close out majority of the time if you try to click anything option on the right side (like save clip etc). ✓ DisappointingI downloaded this app so that I could better film skate clips ether the death lens pro, unfortunately once the app is open it renders the usual record buttons useless. You also cannot use a selfie stick or remote to activate the video which is very poor. Also to play clips you have to go back to the phones video app😔 also it plays all footage back in slow motion Please fix this..Version: 1.6

✓ Needs work-could be the go-to filming appGot it straight away when I saw it was out. Exposure lock and focus lock turn off and on randomly. Once you set exposure and lock it you can't adjust again even if you turn lock off and reset app-a small bug but need sorting. Back to using filmic pro with Deathlens. ✓ Great app but needs some touch upsI really enjoy this app and the fisheye together! There are some things that need working on the app such as: • being able to zoom in and out while filming • all the setting for the app reset every time you exit the camera But overall it's a really cool app. The way it's laid out makes it look like almost like a Vx1000. Your able to change your ratios and frame rate. White balance. It's really smooth to film on. I recommend this if you have the deathlens. It will help you a lot and make your footage look so much better!.Version: 1.0

✓ Not worth the money.Considering you already have to pay a fair price for the actual lens, the app being this price is a bit steep. Also, I have an iphone 5 and the shake reduction option is not available, which is what I mostly bought this app for. If this feature is unavailable with some phones, why does it not state that in the apps read up? Also there are silly little bugs, like the ae/af lock just unlocks itself after you go onto the menu, and annoying things like that. Exposure lock is nice, but if I'd've known all this app was was basically a realtime Instagram filter adder, I wouldn't of bought it..Version: 1.0
✓ Good but ..It was real good when I first heard of the actual app. I had the first version called 'better cam' then the actual deathlens app was released. It was really good, easy to use and when you paid for it you could record forever! Now since the update has come you can only record up to 10 seconds (technically 9 as what the video clip says) even when you press 'restore purchase' it still only lets you record up to 10 seconds. If this wasn't an issue then it would be a definite 5/5 but sadly I have to stick to a 3/5.Version: 1.1

✓ Lens is worth it, app isn't.I have a 5c and the only things that work for me are white balance and the focus/exposure locks... Which I can use the normal phone camera app for. Waste of my money. Also very annoying not being able to use the volume buttons to start/stop recording, as the record button is too small and finicky. Missed out on half the clips I was filming due to the positioning of it. The lens itself is definitely worth it. If you have a 5c, don't buy the app..Version: 1.0

However, since the last update I can now only record 10 seconds of footage without it prompting me to pay an extra £1.49 for unlimited recording! Restoring purchases does nothing.
