Get itSuper awesome app, I was able to take some photos on this app if the northern light in Iceland. I brought my point and shoot camera with no luck. So unless you have special camera with tripod this is a good option.Version: 1.0

Love the appI love how simple this app is. It does one thing and one thing well. I went to Alaska earlier this month and picked up this app on the way. It took a few tries to capture the northern lights (too much light and my hands were not steady), but was very happy with the results!!!!.Version: 1.0

AmazingI do not have professional photography skills and was hoping to be able to take a picture of these while I was in Iceland. I downloaded the app and it was so easy to use ! The photo actually came out brighter than what we were able to see from our own eyes. Definitely worth!.Version: 1.0

FabBeing a point and click sort of photographer who doesn't understand anything else I bought this app when told about it by one of the expedition team on a recent Norwegian cruise. The first night - nothing and I thought I had wasted 79p! But the following nights We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights again and I got some fab pictures so I am a very happy lady..Version: 1.0

Northern Lights in Iceland Captured! We went to Iceland to see the Northern Lights but we didn't take the right lens for our camera. Our tour guide told us about this app while en route to see the lights and I downloaded it on the way. Wow! was I surprised to see how well the photos turned out. The only thing was that if the lights shined too weak the lens wouldn't capture it, but for 99 cents it's worth the risk. I came home with great memories thanks to this app. I highly recommend it..Version: 1.0

Brilliant appCurrently in Reykjavik and bought this just before we left. Glad I did as our relatively decent camera picked up nothing despite setting the ISO, shutter speed, etc as per all expert recommendations. iPhone 6s didn't pick it up on normal camera either, however using this app the photos are amazing. So easy to use as well. I used a 6s iPhone but ended up sending the photos to another lady on the tour as her iphone4 didn't pick it up very well despite using this app also. she was amazed at how good mine were (down to the app, not my technique!). Honestly the best 79p I've spent, do it!.Version: 1.0

Amazing!!This app is totally worth the $0.99! I used it tonight to take photos of the Northern lights and the photos were spectacular!.Version: 1.0

FantasticGot some great photos of the northern lights with it. A definite must if you have a phone camera. Well worth the money..Version: 1.0

Above ExpectationExcels far beyond what I would expect from a cell phone camera. Absolutely worth the dollar if you want to document the experience, don't even think twice. Don't expect print-quality sharpness, but this is the best you are going to get from your phone and will provide evidence of how spectacular the experience was to your friends back home..Version: 1.0

Good enoughI used the app on a recent northern lights tour from Reykjavik and very pleased with the results. I only had a cheap digital camera and it wasn't taking any decent photos of the northern lights regardless of the settings I changed. I tried this app on my iPhone 5s and was pleased that I was able to capture the lights I was seeing - the tour guide even remarked on how good the photos were for a phone. I'm sure if you have a expensive digital camera the photos would be better...but I wasn't investing in one just for the northern lights. It didn't seem to be as effective on my iPad 3 though..Version: 1.0

Super super superDownloaded this to use as a backup if cameras , video failed in the intense cold (-25)on a cruise to Norway recently Proved to be the best option Great pictures . Need to hold phone steady for burst Of pictures but well worth it 👍🏼.Version: 1.0

Absolutely amazing!!Bought this before going to Iceland, and was not disappointed, took amazing photos of the northern lights! Much better than using my camera! Well worth the money and would recommend to anybody going to see the lights.Version: 1.1

Wow!Arrived in Norway with little idea as to how to take a photo of the Northern Lights. Downloaded the app and hey presto, point and shoot, and some fabulous photos. There is even the ability to play with the settings so that you can discuss aperture and shutter speed settings with fellow photographers! Without the app it was not possible to get a decent photo of the lights. A fabulous app!.Version: 1.0

Definitely Worth A BuckYou're not going to be hanging Aurora photos taken with this app in a gallery, but you'll be able to get something good enough to induce FB/IG jealousy. And you'll have the pleasure of knowing that what you saw was so much better than what the app can capture. Use that to talk your friends into visiting you in Alaska. 💯😜.Version: 1.0

ExcellentJust used this app in Ivalo, Finland. Allowed me to take excellent photos of the northern lights with minimal effort. Worth every penny..Version: 1.0

If you’re going to Iceland, this is a “must buy”!A brilliant app - thank you! Investing £0.99 in this app “rescued” the almost-£1,000 I spent on a holiday package for two to Iceland and the Northern Lights. We have some wonderful photos. One request, though - could you please include the option to turn off the “camera click” sound? In pitch dark, in silent countryside, the 8 clicks of the camera operating are deafening! (Maybe I could have switched the phone to “silent”, but my fingers were too cold by that time!).Version: 1.1

A must for getting pictures of the Northern LightsThis is the first review I’ve written for an app built felt as though I needed too. This was an excellent purchase for 99p. We were lucky enough to see the lights last night in all their glory and they were spectacular! Without this app I wouldn’t have the amazing pictures I have today to look at! The app was so easy to use and the pictures were excellent! Cannot recommend enough!.Version: 1.1

Great in the dark! 🌌I've taken great pictures with this app at an art festival at night, it's actually pretty impressive! One little improvement suggestion though - have a way to access the pictures taken with the app instead of going to the photo gallery..Version: 1.0

Worked perfectly!Went to Iceland specifically to look for Northern Lights. First night that we saw them none of us had a camera that could capture the moment. Thankfully we saw them the second night as well but this time caught in pictures. Thank you app!!.Version: 1.0

Worked in the YukonThe instructions for using my 'proper' camera in manual meant holding it steady for seconds with no tripod. I got faint traces only. This app at least let me capture some impressive green lights on camera, and if held up to the horizon allowed one to check if there was any activity. (Only worked on 'weak' even when lights overhead)..Version: 1.0

IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!If you’re a complete photo noob THIS APP IS FOR YOU! I know absolutely nothing about camera settings and still managed to get STUNNING photos of the northern lights in Iceland. It has pre-set settings, just point and snap! Great app for people who really don’t understand the appropriate settings that cameras need to be on to capture something as special as the northern lights..Version: 1.0

Best 79p I've ever spentDownloaded at breakfast this morning as an afterthought. Currently Norwegian coastal sailing with Hurtigruten and realised iPhone camera would be useless on its own. I felt like a real pro clicking away and got almost as good pictures as those with expensive equipment..Version: 1.0

Very intuitive and easy to useGot this app based on friends recommendation. The app does a great job and is very simple to understand..Version: 1.0

Trip saverI dont normally write reviews but this app has made such an impression on me that I have to. On a recent holiday to Iceland to see the lights I forgot one of my cameras and the other failed. I bought this app in desperation but the results are remarkably good. Very simple to use. I am not even sure what it does to my phone but I brought back acceptable images of auroras which saved memories of my trip..Version: 1.1

Best 99 cents ever spentGot this for a trip to Iceland in December 2017. Not being a professional photographer, I wanted an easy app to get a decent photo. Bought this app and another and only ended up using this one. People kept coming up to us and asking how we were getting the northern lights to show up using our camera on our phone. The photos aren’t perfect, they’re a little grainy but they’re so much better than nothing and so much better than I was expecting. I don’t think you’ll find a better app for this. I would HIGHLY recommend buying this app. Best app I’ve ever gotten! Thank you!.Version: 1.0

Amazing! This app is amazing for catching the northern lights! Stunning pictures I caught from using this! 😄 Deffo recommend buying this! Thank you!!.Version: 1.1

Pleasantly surprised!Love this! I thought I'd take a gamble on this app as I knew that my compact camera would not be good enough. I used the 'weak' setting even though the lights were strong and it seemed to work best. I got a clear green pattern of the lights, and an outline of the landscape. Brilliant!.Version: 1.0

Amazing AppI have never reviewed an App before. This one deserves it. If you are seeing the Aurora you MUST get this app. We went from not being able to get a photo to several amazing shots. Can’t thank you enough for making this..Version: 1.0

Does what it says on the tin!!!We forgot our SLR camera but luckily I'd download this app as a back up and wasn't disappointed. Got loads of amazing pics I would definitely recommend using this app..Version: 1.0

Not just for the lightsI used this app, not just for the northern lights, but for other things such as sunsets. This app works brilliantly when taking pics of them. I highly recommend this app, not just for the northern lights, but other things as well!!!.Version: 1.0

Northern LightsDefinitely worth the price. I was afraid that my iPhone would not capture the Northern lights. This app did the trick. So happy the Northern lights museum recommended the app..Version: 1.0

Definitely worth it!I tried to follow online guides to change my iPhone 6s settings but was pretty complicated. I found and bought this App and was so lucky to capture the lights on our last night in Iceland. Really east to use - I had it in weak setting..Version: 1.0

Great app.We are on a NorthernLights cruise in Norway. Without this app I got nothing. With it have managed to get some quite good pics. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommended..Version: 1.1

AMAZING!!I have never written a review of an app because I've never been that impressed but oh my gosh! This was amazing! Went to see the Northern Lights in Iceland twice, took my fancy expensive camera with me and got barely anything to show from it... Downloaded this app to see what it would do and got extremely clear photos that I was very very impressed by!! Would definitely recommend this app, I got better photos using the stronger setting and custom settings also. Enjoy peeps!!!.Version: 1.0

Great App! Great Photos! This app definitely works if you see good Aurora! We saw them two nights in a row in Reykjavík and the first night they were very weak and I didn’t get any good pictures but the second night they were better and I got GREAT pictures! So it somewhat depends on the strength of the natural phenomenon. I used the weak setting. Pics are slightly blurry without a tripod but amazing when you consider its through an iPhone. Most people with us didn’t get pics and I had two strangers ask me to email them my pics because they were so good!!.Version: 1.0

Highly recommend!!I would highly recommend this app! It worked amazing with my iPhone! You will not be disappointed!!! My pictures came amazing!.Version: 1.1

This app worksDecided to download this last minute and am glad I did! Was skeptical but it captured the northern lights on the weak mode. Def worth the 99p investment!.Version: 1.0

Loved it!Thank you for this app! I could share photos of aurora instantly from my iPhone instead of waiting to go home to download from my camera. Of course we can't expect to have perfect picture that you'd have in a real camera...but it was so good to take the photos in my phone & be able to share it with my friends!.Version: 1.0

Best 0.99 I’ve ever spentI bought this for a trip to Norway since I don’t have a fancy camera and was just bringing my iPhone. It obviously does not look like a professional photograph but still did a great job capturing the lights so that I have a visual memory. I think it’s worth it!!.Version: 1.1

Amazing photos with my iPhone 6!!Great photos using my iPhone 6 and a selfie stick lodged in the snow as a stand. Was amazing and the preset and custom settings work a charm. 100% recommend. If I could share my photos to prove it, I would..Version: 1.0

Images of the Northern Lights Captured!Thank you Simon Leung for developing this fantastic App! I was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights in Yellowknife, North West Territories over the past two days and your App helped me preserve those images!.Version: 1.1

Excellent appThis app is great and gave me brilliant pictures of quite faint lights in Reykjavik. It is very difficult to hold the phone still enough to get a picture that isn’t slightly blurred hence the 4 stars but really my photos would have been nothing without this app!.Version: 1.0

Iceland visitWent last week, and had one evening of a spectacular display of the northern lights. The app worked brilliantly and I kept taking snaps on my phone until I just wanted to stand there and watch the sky dancing above my head..Version: 1.0

Amazing! In Iceland at the moment and just used this App to take some absolutely amazing photos of the northern lights. It captures them beautifully and far better than the stock iPhone camera ever could in low light. Very pleased :).Version: 1.0

AmazingJust came from our tour and my photos were better than most of the others with 'expensive' equipment. Can't recommend enough..Version: 1.0

Excellent AppI used this App on an iPhone 6 Plus in Reyjkavik, 30th Jan 2016. Clear dies very dark but faint Northern lights at an activity rating of 2. I took about 20 photos using the 'faint' setting and holding as still as possible. I got some incredible photos, with others" photographers stating they wouldn't have thought quality possible on a phone camera. The proper SLR cameras present gave better resolution, and a stand would have given me less blur, but regardless they captured the moment perfectly. Excellent low cost app..Version: 1.0

FantasticPurchased this yesterday evening, our last night in Reykjavik. The sky was so clear so I thought, "give it a go". The results were fantastic!!! If you are going anywhere to see the northern or southern lights and are not a serious photographer, this is for you!.Version: 1.0

Fantastic App!!In Iceland and the Northern Lights were supposed to be good tonight, but I only had my iPhone. Decided to give this app a try, and WOW!! Even on a rocky boat with some background lights, it worked great! Will these get printed/published? No Did they capture the essence of what I saw so I can keep the memory and share the pictures with family & friends online? Absolutely yes!!! Don't hesitate. Best $.99 app I ever bought!.Version: 1.0

Northern lightsBest app for the buck. “99 cents”. Am very satisfied. Used app on trip to Norway. Very happy with result. Got some super photos of the Aurora. App color exactly like you see it. Can’t go wrong. Thank you, Twoyys..Version: 1.0

Worked well in NorwayUsed every night we saw the Northern Lights in Norway- I got some great photos- a tripod would have made my shots better, but I am happy with what I got..Version: 1.1

A Must Have!I downloaded this app on the tour bus on the way to see the Northern Lights, and I’m so pleased I did! I don’t usually write reviews, but this app enabled me to take spectacular pictures of the lights, so I feel it’s only right to let everyone know how brilliant it is. Very simple and easy to use..Version: 1.0

FantasticJust used this app this evening to take some fantastic photos of the lights. Would not have been possible without it. Thanks for a great app..Version: 1.1

Used In IceHotel Sweden to Capture Northern LightsWe travelled to Jukkasjarvi Sweden to the Ice hotel. We had alerts from an aurora app and then used this app to take pictures on the weak setting on my Iphone The greens from the Aurora were amazing the best 79p I've spent by far. We were the only people to capture it on the whole plane and were sharing pics on trip back. If you are thinking its 79p just do it. Normal camera will not pick up the colours it really works..Version: 1.0

Pretty cool appTook a chance on this app as I was going to Iceland to see aurora lights. Figured 99 cents wouldn't be the end of the world if it didn't work, but to my pleasant surprise, this app took decent pictures of the aurora lights!! I say decent because quality can't really compare to a nice digital camera. I compared the stock camera app to this app and this one definitely showed better results 😀.Version: 1.0

Exactly what you expect - Good (not great) quality photosUsed this app to capture images of the Northern Lights on a particularly high visibility night. Used a tripod and a remote to take pics so as not to have to touch the phone very much. As long as everything stayed still, the pictures came out quite good. Clearly they are not DSLR or professional-level images and won’t win any photography awards for Northern Lights pictures, but they are MUCH MUCH MUCH better than you’d get from just using your iPhone camera (which I tried, and simply got black)..Version: 1.1

Great app!We saw the faintest of shimmer in the sky, but with this app our pictures are stunning. It was cool to look through the app and really see the lights dancing..Version: 1.0

Great app!Really pleased with this app, especially for 99p. My camera didn’t take any decent photos but this did the job really well. The NL appear just as a white glow but using this got the fab green colour. A tripod would’ve made the photos clearer as you have to try and hold your phone really still but great results anyway..Version: 1.1

AMAZINGThis app is incredible. No way I would've gotten any pictures of the northern lights without it. I don't know the first thing about "real" cameras, and just as the description says - this app does it all for you. Great work developers!.Version: 1.0

Works! We were in Iceland - and found out that the iPhone was horrid in taking pictures of the northern lights. A quick Google resulted in this app. Skeptical at first - but tried it out of desperation. Happy with the results! Not perfect - but enough to document the moments..Version: 1.0

Amazing valueIf you are in Iceland and planning to see the Northern lights then you need this app! When we were told on our guide that the lights were visible all you could see was grey vapour against the black sky. It didn’t look like how you would imagine it to work green trails high up. By using this app I managed to get great pictures where You could see the green lights. I can now show the pictures to family to prove that we saw them! Well worth 99p. Only suggestions are that you really have to keep the camera still when you take the picture, a tripod would be ideal but I am not going to use one. Perfect in between solution..Version: 1.1

Works!I have a GoPro 3+ and was sad to learn it doesn't have a night mode (which supposedly takes good Aurora pics according to my tour guide). I was googling and came across someone who said this app worked, I figured $.99 was worth a shot for a once in a lifetime opportunity. And sure enough, jury rigged my GoPro tripod to hold my phone and voila, good (a little grainy but hey it's an iPhone camera not a DSLR) pictures of a very weak light. 5/5 because it turned an iPhone camera with no settings into one that can take pics of the northern lights with the push of a button.Version: 1.0

Buy it!If you only have an iPhone then buy this app. Obviously never going to beat a proper slr but just taken some great snaps in Finland with an iPhone 7. Only issue is keeping the camera still!!.Version: 1.0

ExcellentDoes exactly what it says. If this doesn't work for you, you aren't pointing it at the northern lights! I got some amazing photos with it. Thanks!!.Version: 1.0

Works. Settings are buggyDoes work I can only see the northern lights when it's set on the faint setting even when they are really bright- still nice to actually get pictures though with a iPhone without this app they do not show up at all.Version: 1.0

AMAZING! Definitely recommend!I thought it would be a little risky to pay for this app incase it didn't work... But the results were amazing and the app is so easy to use! I used the app on a school trip and everyone download this app after they saw the results! I cannot thank this app enough as now I have some amazing pictures of the northern lights! 100% recommend 100% satisfied.Version: 1.0

Takes great pictures on iPhoneThe northern lights showed up great! I told so many others on my cruise about your app because their phones weren’t picking up the lights. I got so many amazing Northern Lights pictures!.Version: 1.1

WORKS 100 %You need this if you are going to see the northern lights. Just returned from iceland with some amazing photos. Your phone will not take pictures of them without this..Version: 1.0

Good appI got just what I expected. I used the app with an iPhone 6 on an inexpensive tripod. I had a remote shutter release but didn’t need it. The app allows you about a second or so then tells you to hold still. Plenty of time to move away. Yes the pics are a little grainy but decent and I was able to use my iPhone!.Version: 1.1

Worth itBest .99 I’ve spent. Photos came out a bit grainy but that was somewhat expected. My iPhone camera couldn’t pick up anything at all and this app let me photograph the lights in Iceland. It sets up an extended exposure so you need to lean against something to hold still(ish) or consider getting a tripod setup. It only worked on the weak setting for me, even when they seemed bright. Only thing that would make this better is if it allowed a video feature since my phone camera/video couldn’t pick them up enough to show the lights dancing all over the sky..Version: 1.0

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!After a trip to the Reykjavík lights in 2015 I was distraught when I arrived and could not capture them on an iPhone or digital camera. This time I did my research and found this app. It has honestly completed the whole trip for me. I only captured a few- but amazing photos due to being simply stunned by the lights, take a tripod and buy this app!!! - obviously don’t expect a family portrait in front of the lights, it will most likely be a silhouette but the lights themselves will be seen..Version: 1.1

It worksWas very skeptical that it would work. I took the big 99 risk and it worked. I got pictures tonight of the northern lights. So happy. Thanks..Version: 1.0

Must have app for iPhonesI recently went to Iceland and was informed you can’t capture a good image of the northern lights using an iPhone but this app allows you to capture it perfectly! Not as good as a professional camera but does do the good job!.Version: 1.1

So worth 99pJust downloaded on a whim, saw the northern lights tonight and it caught them 😃 ok they're not sharp and crisp, but I held it in freezing cold temp and the image was still so good!.Version: 1.0

Don’t get stonedStoned, whiskey drunk. Should’ve read the directions. Take only memories, lead only footprints.Version: 1.0

Worked well for me !!On a group trip to Iceland in February I was the only one who managed to capture a decent photo using, most of them had cameras or were just using their normal phone cameras, my photos were the only ones where the lights were clearly visible I ended up sending my shots to the rest of the group..Version: 1.1
