Oticon ON for Positive User Reviews

IPhone and Bluetooth speakerThey were quickly responsive to my question on how to play music from my iPhone to a Bluetooth speaker without having to turn off my hearing aids - prior to their solution I had to either play music through my aids OR the speaker. I am so happy to have this dilemma solved. I can now play music at dinner parties and still hear conversations clearly:-) BTW, Oticon aides are fabulous and I like that I can also control them using my iWatch. The instructions should’ve been in the manual;-).Version: 2.5.0

Not working on latest iOS 16.2App was working fine until updating to iOS 16.2. App no longer working even though Ponto 4 is connected to iPhone. App stuck on “pairing your hearing aid” screen. Since app no longer works Ponto 4 not auto connecting to iPhone as good as it used to when app worked and have to mess about in accessibility/ hearing device settings every time Ponto is turned on. Was working perfectly before iOS 16.2 update. Please look into this and make app compatible again..Version: 2.5.0

Trial runI am Just trying out some demo hearing aids and this app. I think it would be really helpful to be able to adjust the balance between the aid microphone and Bluetooth volumes and the microphone and t-coil volumes..Version: 2.5.0

Otico aids and appI’m a 65 year old builder who has wired down to fitting bathrooms for a living which is very rewarding I listen to pod cast and streaming music answer my phone all day and after stripping a bathroom of tiles and plaster had to wear a mask and goggles, by 12 o’clock everything was off , bagged and down stairs so I to my mask off for the second time and noticed I’d lost an aid well after 20 -30 bags of rubble it’s well gone then I thought wonder what the app says , well standing in the bathroom it said left aid was near and the right aid was far away , so I went down stairs and walked ove to the rubble sacks (luckily the skip hadn’t arrived yet) and the app said the right was near to so I got my 14 stone polish apprentice to bring one bag at a time to me at the other end of the drive (you don’t think I did all that on my own did you !) and after 9 bags it was near to me so had to be in that bag , so we gently tipped it out and right at the bottom was my aid , right as rain though a little dusty . So I wiped it off and popped it back in bingo an could watch England play Senegal in the pub in stereo! And when everything gets to noisy I can just turn everyone right down! brilliant ! By the way I have an iPhone 12 and if ever the DONT connect for some reason I just disconnect the batteries for a second that usually works.Version: 2.5.0

A wrap for the AppToday, I inadvertently dislodged a hearing aid in the garden, when removing a mask (a known CV19 hazard). Initially, I didn’t realise! I went back hours later, and with “find my hearing aid”, located the aid among leaf litter, in minutes. Well done, Oticon On 😊.Version: 2.1.0

Problem solvedHave been wearing Oticon Exceed hearing aids for about 18 months ( I am profoundly deaf). Find them excellent for general sound( they pick up sound from all around, but you don’t get confused by the different sounds). Main issue for me has been poor Bluetooth performance. Until the recent IOS update (15.1) could not watch videos on phone for more than a few seconds before they cut out and Zoom and FaceTime were plagued with bubble sound and cut offs. Now all items are working great, but why did it take so long to get to this stage when my Phonak aids Bluetooth has worked fine for more than a few years..Version: 2.5.0

Impressive app with Oticon More, and even more so for being accessible with Voiceover for the blind. To begin, I am completely blind and use the Voiceover screen reader on my iPhone. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that developers appear to have made efforts to make the app almost fully accessible, meaning that I can access the More sound-booster, or play around with streaming equalisation without much trouble. Barring a few missing labels, and inability to tell how far I have increased or decreased treble, mid and low frequencies from the defaults on the streaming equaliser, it is completely usable to me. The developers should be commended on this, as it wouldn't have been an easy undertaking, and is one that is sadly lacking in all other hearing aid app companions, to my knowledge. One thing that would bring my rating of the app from a 4 to 5 would be an ability for the user to have more autonomy with hearing aid settings. This could be done through a similar control to the streaming equaliser control, and an audiologist could set parameters so that it is safe. It would be fantastic to experiment in different environments such as seeing live music, or going into a very noisy room to maximise the aids' performance quickly to complement audiology set-up. All in all, well done..Version: 2.3.1

Extremely quick replyI couldn’t figure out how to pair my hearing aids to my new phone (blonde moment) so I emailed the support and had a very quick response and was sorted, couldn’t ask for a better app with support like this. Thank you.Version: 2.5.0

A Really Useful AppThe “Find my Hearing Aids” function on this app enabled me to find one of mine in the dark six hours after unknowingly flicking it off my ear while walking the dog in the park. NB make sure you check your settings for this function to get the best out of it. Also the app enables you to link your hearing aids to your smartphone which is really useful for telephone calls and listening to music etc.Version: 2.5.0

Oticon appI’ve used this app for four years. Typically does good for me. I would say in the 4 star range. But the past couple weeks the app just stays on screen that wants me to pair HA up to phone. But my HA is already paired up. I go through un pair process and start all over to no avail. Same ending the app waiting for HA to pair up with phone. So at this point the app is useless. So with my iPhone I put my hearing accessibility short cut for hearing connected to the three clicks on button on right side of phone. Trust me I’d rather use app, but till app is working I’ll just use the capable assistance that iPhone is giving to me to mute and control volume..Version: 2.5.0

Solved problemI use nhs issued hearing aids and have found them very good. I did have a problem with the Bluetooth disconnecting but this was sorted out quickly with the very fast response from Oticon support..Version: 2.5.0

Oticon on and Oticon hearing aidsVery happy with my new hearing aids and the app allows me to make the changes i need to be in control of my hearing i was very excited when i learned i could have new hearing aids that would connect to my phone ... they do and they are great and very easy to use however i have horrendous tinnitus and my hearing aids play a constant white noise in my ears which keeps me sane, the problem is when i get a call or i stream music from my phone this white noise is switched off rendering this perk useless to me i am hopeful there is an update to fix this soon as i was the reason i was excited for now ill disconnect from my phone and go about my day with my aftershock bone conductive head set as before 7/10 for the app and ease of use would be 9/10 if it didnt interrupt my white noise.Version: 2.5.0

OticonHad a problem recently getting hearing aids to work with my new phone. Contacted Oticon and the were so helpful with their guidance and I was soon up and running. Nothing was too much trouble. Great service..Version: 2.5.0

Nice companion appI find the Oticon App useful as it allows me to adjust my hearing aids without having to manually push the buttons on my More 1, especially when I’m wearing glasses. I do find however that I lose connectivity when I want to stream if I step away from my iPhone. Seems there is a problem re-establishing the connection when back in range.I would really like it if Oticon would provide more ambient sounds like thunder storm, rain forest, birds, ocean, and more. The brook sound is nice but not enough. Also please expand the equalizer for more than just High, Mid and Low. We nead more frequency adjustment sliders..Version: 2.5.0

A long-awaited benefitAfter a very disappointing experience with the £100 Streamer Pro a few years ago I was suitably sceptical after I acquired my new (NHS-provided) xceed1 up, to learn of an app that promised to do even more than the Streamer Pro…and for free… but it does !! The Bluetooth connection to my iPhone 11 was easily achieved and works beautifully and it’s made a big difference day-to-day: controlling volume on the phone screen is much easier than reaching behind my ear and listening out for barely audible clicks. Streaming from the phone has been a revelation: conversations on the phone, which I used to dread are now crystal-clear and I can make much better use of internet music and information sources. The only weakness I’ve spotted is the inaccuracy of the battery meter - when I first got the app it said my, almost new, battery was at 10% and it continued to send warning notifications for another week… apart from the time it briefly upped its reading to 30% ! I’ve been wearing hearing aids for 40+ years now and this app along with the xceed aid must be biggest improvement in my hearing experience I’ve met..Version: 2.5.0

Very usefulIt is hard to assess what elements of functionality come from Apple Accessibility and which bits from Oticon On. However, it does stream music and system sounds strain to the hearing aids. I was sceptical about the value of the phone going straight to my ears; I have mild loss and have used a phone without this for decades, why did I need it? It turns out I was very wrong, it is not only clearer, but way easier. Being able to listen to music or podcasts wherever and whenever is brilliant. The app seems a little slow to start up, and seems to need to reconnect every time you use it which is both irritating and slow. Basically it lets you change the volume and program and check on batteries, I think other brands are able to give rather more functionality. I got good support from Oticon when the app acted up.Version: 2.5.0

Outstanding!Excellent Oticon hearing aids and App. The App does everything I want it to do and gives me complete control - volume control, separate programme for TV, streaming from my mobile, finding my hearing aids etc. I had a problem recently with streaming my mobile phone directly to my hearing aids (probably due to an IOS upgrade) but the very helpful Apps Support Team quickly sorted out the problem for me and restored the streaming service. Fully deserves 5 Star rating..Version: 2.5.0

Does what it saysI have been using the app with Oticon OPN 1 aids for some time and now with new OPN More 1 aids. The app does what it claims to do and I have had no problems using it with iPhone 6s and iPhone 11. One thing to note is that if you have the app live on more than one phone, as I do, unsurprisingly if both phones are on and in use near the aids and the app is used on either, it throws the app on both phones into a state of confusion. Easily resolved by turning Bluetooth off on one. Received a good and prompt response from the app support team when I had a question..Version: 2.5.0

Good - could be greatI really like the app and use it several times daily. Tech Support is fantastic - especially Tishi)! I too have experienced the random mute/unmute and random volume changes, etc. when both my iPhone and iPad are connected. I frequently switch back and forth between my phone/pad and it’s a PIA to remember to keep turning off Bluetooth each time I switch. Also, it would be really helpful if Oticon would inform users upfront rather than each who experience it have to do back and forth with Tech Support to determine the solution. I also would like to have the streaming fine tuning capability on my Opn’s..Version: 2.5.0

Convenient and EfficientI have had my Octicon hearing aids for over a year. They have literally changed my life. My one regret is that I had not gotten them sooner. Regarding the app, though, I appreciate the simple design/layout and the ease of operation. Many of the functions in the app can also be performed via iOS but the app acts like a shortcut and provides additional features, as well. In closing, one recent issue I addressed through a review was answered by the developers. As it turned out, an iOS update was needed to squash the bug and restore the functionality I had grown accustomed to..Version: 2.5.0

App stuck (update after developer helped)This App was so useful until it got stuck on a “Pair your hearing aids” option which just appeared out of nowhere when I opened the App one day. My hearing aids were already paired but the message would not go away even after I deleted the App twice & unpaired & re-paired my hearing aids to Bluetooth (again, twice). Frustrating. Wish there were a fix for the problem. REVIEW UPDATE: the developer reached out to me right away about my issue and provided me with additional instructions on how to resolve my pairing problem (unpair & re-pair all devices my hearing aids were paired to). This worked!! and I’m once again successfully using the Oticon App regularly. THANK YOU!.Version: 2.5.0

I love all the features available through the appThe Oticon ON app greatly enhances the experience of having hearing aids. The “FIND MY HEARING AIDS” feature is terrific as is the “MoreSound Booster” to cut down on background noise when you are in a conversation with several people. I also really like the ‘microphone’ feature where you can put your iPhone at a distance from you and it works as a microphone, making it easier to hear a conversation at a distance..Version: 2.5.0

First rate supportSome things in life we just take for granted, as I was with this app, that is until I changed my iPhone earlier this week and suddenly I was lost without the app as it transferred over to the new iPhone but needed setting up! My audiologists had set up my phone originally and passed it over to me and, as the Oticon app worked perfectly, I hadn’t been involved with the app installation and had no idea why it wasn’t working in the new iPhone. I took it back to the Apple Store and spent over an hour with a ‘Genius’ to no avail. I then discovered the link in the app to get help by email and had all the answers from Oticon, together with a link to Apple’s own support for future reference, and everything was up and working properly within minutes! A mention too for the friendly and polite, as well as prompt, response from the customer support team at Oticon!.Version: 2.5.0

Excellent supportI had occasion to contact the App Support and the response was prompt and my issue was resolved quickly. Katarina was both extremely helpful, she walked me through how to get the information I needed and my problem was diagnosed and resolved promptly, Definitely 5star service. Thank you.Version: 2.5.0

Life changingThank you, thank you, thank you for developing the most wonderful hearing assistance devices. I am nearly 72 and have multiple sclerosis and it was exhausting not being able to hear people who were talking to me. In particular my husband was very irritated by me continually saying “pardon” every time he spoke to me. I find the devices very easy to fit and they are extremely comfortable, so much so that I forget that they are there. Thank you again and I wish everyone at Oticon a very happy Christmas. Kim Mudway 🥰👂🥰👂🥰👂👂👂🥰🥰🥰.Version: 2.5.0

On or Companion?I wish with the explanation for the use of this app It would tell you the difference between the On and the Companion app. I keep getting notifications to install the new version and when I hit it, it just goes to the download and says open without an explanation as to where the revised app is or what the latest version is. In neither explanation does it tell you the difference or which one you should be using. I can’t seem to tell the difference between the two, but it does tell you that having more than one app on your phone gives you problems with connectivity. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two apps and which one I should be using?.Version: 2.5.0

Oticon AppI like the ability to control my hearing aids through the Oticon app as well as the ability to also use the buttons. I recently had a connectivity issue and with the assistance of Oticon customer support was able to correct the issue by deleting one device. I understand this is something being worked on between Apple and Oticon and look forward to being able to use more than one device with Bluetooth capability. Other than that I have enjoyed being able to switch programs and adjust volume setting through the app..Version: 2.5.0

Service ProfessionalismKristian had been my service tech. The attention to my problem was extraordinary. Very complete and precise instructions. My observation had been fairly frequent connection drop between my hearing aids and app. with four separate devices being involved. We were able to discover as to why, a fix was determined. A lot of hard effort was put into this, and throughout very professional. Best technical service I ever experienced. 5 star for sure..Version: 2.5.0

Apple Watch, volume adjustment too sensitiveHaving access to this app on my Apple Watch (series 7) is super handy, but the thing I use it for the most, adjusting volume, is really difficult due to its sensitivity. You turn the bezel knob on the watch to make the adjustment and usually I only need to change the volume by one number up or down, but to do that is nearly impossible. I overshoot both ways EVERY SINGLE TIME. Back and forth, back and forth to get to the number I want. 😠 It doesn’t need to be so sensitive that you go from one end of the scale all the way to the other in one scroll. If the developer is reading this, please tune down the sensitivity of the volume adjustment bezel. Thank you.Version: 2.5.0

Apt ConfusionThrough support, I found out that my apt confusion was caused by having both my phone and iPad paired to the apt. I tried the apt reload to no avail; turning my aids off and on; turning the Bluetooth off and on with no effect. Once I did a “forget this device reset” it worked better but not perfectly. The volume on the apt control would move independently w/o my input. I took my aids to my audiologist and she wiped my aids and reprogrammed them and everything has been reset. The apt works flawlessly now. I have also experienced the battery drain and perhaps this may have been caused by the apt being confused by two devices and by its working overtime to connect to one or the or the other. My rechargeable batteries have failed after two years and the price of a new pair is outrageous! $275!!! I paid $65 for my old ones!.Version: 2.5.0

Missing apple watch complicationWorks nice with apple watch most of the time. App on the watch lags or unresponsive at times. Watch app also does not have watch face complication available on many apple watch faces. Really important for me to have that shortcut on the watch face at all times..Version: 2.1.0

Excellent, swift help from Oticon. When having bought a new iPhone I couldn’t understand the blurb about how to connect phone to hearing aids, Kristian at Oticon replied to my questions extremely swiftly and very helpfully with excellent step-by-step instructions which even I could understand. Now fully restored! Great service, nicely rendered..Version: 2.5.0

Disconnection ProblemMy hearings were disconnecting when using two Apple devices. Although the underlying problems remain, the customer services help me to fix the immediate problem. Very good and prompt service..Version: 2.5.0

It just works!I find that this app works quite well. Unlike another manufacturer’s app I tried, this app connects to the aids as soon as it opens. It doesn’t have as many bells and whistles as some apps, but I find that it handles all the things that matter quickly and reliably. User interface is on the whole very intuitive. The only thing I would change is to include the things now in the quick settings - microphone level, background options, and input options in the main app. It’s confusing to look for settings in 2 separate places..Version: 2.5.0

Great app and great app supportGood app haven’t had any issues in the last 5 years until this past week when the app was not working and I contacted support and spoke with Katarina who was extremely good and stayed in touch with me until the problem was resolved. Thank from satisfied customer What I really wish is that the app would update faster in regards to the active time of the hearing aids.Version: 2.5.0

Excellent supportI couldn’t be more impressed by the support. My issue was the app kept disconnecting from Bluetooth. My enquiries were addressed in a timely manner. The issue was an interference from my iPad. Once I unpaired the iPad it has worked seamlessly. Thank you..Version: 2.5.0

Great AppThis is a great App for checking on your hearing aids. I had a few problems connecting both aids but these were dealt with through their excellent support lady, Katarina..Version: 2.5.0

Great supportI have had great support in getting the Tv adapter to work with my hearing aids. The support person was very patient with me and gave lots of solutions. In the end it was my fault that I hadn’t connected the TV adapter correctly. 5 stars for the support person. Thanks.Version: 2.5.0

Good, But Room For Improvement.“Oticon On” offers a feature to track missing/lost hearing aids. That is a good feature. However, if your wearing hearing aid(s) and you walk too far from smart device that has the “Oticon On” app installed on a device (ie: phone), there is no alert in the hearing aid indicating your too far from your Bluetooth signal. This can help users prevent loss of the device. A nice feature would be a “Loss/Reconnection Of Bluetooth” from your smart device. If you’re out of Bluetooth signal range, the hearing aid(s) would make a sound alert, signifying you’re out range from smart device. If you come back into your device’s Bluetooth range, the hearing aid(s) would make an alert that Bluetooth reconnection has been established. Just like the hearing aid traker, “Oticon On” should allow the users to set the device tracker to On/Off..Version: 2.5.0

What happened? I just got these hearing aids. What happened? Was there a software update because now I can’t use my hearing aids on my phone and I’m deaf blind I need this..Version: 2.5.0

SuggestionsVery handy app. However can I make a suggestion? Could there be a battery power bar on my phones Home Screen to show how much battery is left in my BAHA? And perhaps a low battery alert banner like to one that comes up on our phones? This way I will be more prepared to change my battery before it dies on me completely..Version: 2.5.0

Great AppMyrna Copeland March 5, 5:40 GMT I lost my hearing aid tonight and didn’t realize it until I went to take it off. I went into panic mode fearing that one of my three dogs would find it before I did. I looked all over the house. I really didn’t think I was going to find it and then it occurred to me to see if there were any apps that would find hearing aids. I typed in Otion And to my surprise, there was your app. I found my hearing aid about 15 inches from my dog who was sleeping facing away from it. I thanked my lucky stars and I’m thanking you. Great App!.Version: 2.5.0

Should have left it aloneSince making the older app obsolete and forcing everyone to accept this new “upgrade”, this app has become useless. There are places where is doesn’t work and I can no longer adjust the volume. Why are you people always trying to reinvent the wheel. The old app worked fine, you should have left it alone..Version: 2.5.0

Pride✨I been using it for serval months it’s the best app to use when watching stuff or trying to hear better its very helpful to me and my deafness I’m 13 years old I be 14 in January 27th before this app i was struggling with my hearing and at school now I got the app it’s honestly use-full and very helpful to deaf ppl who needs to hear better you can adjust the volume hearing and everything I’m glad this app exist! ❤️❤️❤️.Version: 2.5.0

Huge improvement in one areaI never write reviews but I feel compelled to because there are so many negative ones which is very different from my experience. I installed this in iOS 16 and now using in iOS 17 without issue. I have an iPhone 13pro -I’ll start with the biggest improvement which is the Apple Watch complication. The previous one required using the Digital Crown to change volume which was very imprecise. The current complication has a + and - button to push which is much better. Also it has a toggle for the speech booster function which is new. -the iPhone app itself is about the same as the prior version, very responsive and connected to my oticon miniRite hearing aids easily. -The app shows estimated battery time (ie x hours ) remaining on the hearing aids in addition to the percentage charge remaining I almost didn’t download the new app because of the poor reviews but I’m glad I did. I’d encourage you to give it a try and decide for yourself..Version: 2.5.0

Very helpful technical / customer contact department. Thank you, Tishi!I was having problems due to my iPad being too close to my iPhone. I was advised to turn off Bluetooth on my iPad and the problems went away. Keith.Version: 2.5.0

Highly recommendI’ve been using this app for at least three years and really the only reason I gave a four star rating instead of five star isn’t Oticon’s fault. I gave the four star because of Apple’s updates. I use this app from the time I get up until I remove my hearing aids at night. I use the app to raise and lower my input volume and to switch between tv mode to normal mode and I also use the mute in the app for loud situations, like mowing the yard, makes my hearing aids like ear plugs. And what I also like very well is Oticon’s great customer support. Thank you Oticon.Version: 2.5.0

Data usageLove this app, what I love most, if there’s a problem there is always help at hand to help fix the problem..Version: 2.5.0

Connection problemsI lost connection with my iPhone but connection was still ok on my iPad. I contacted them and they talked me through the steps to get it reconnected within a day..Version: 2.5.0

Useful appA very useful app for controlling my hearing aids. Could be more useful if you could change the volume on the watch app along with the program. Just worked out how to do it now..Version: 2.5.0

Why is this app still on the App Store? This was a good app and always worked well with my Octicon hearing aids. It’s now been replaced by a new Oticon Companion app which is useless in comparison. So, if this app is superseded, why can it be downloaded and opened, but not able to be used? Why is on the App Store?.Version: 2.5.0

Praises for Kristian, the Oticon Team2/1 pm…forget about all the accolades about this app. It is no longer paired to my hearing aides. I do not have the time nor the patience to go through a series of steps every morning to connect😟 2/1 am…I had problems pairing my hearing aides to my new phone. I sent an email to Oticon. I promptly received a reply with 1-2-3- instructions on how to do this. Also received a link to a detailed “Pairing Guide”, if I needed it. Thanks for the prompt reply and for the simple, easy to understand instructions..Version: 2.5.0

Help serviceI cannot thank this team enough! They are absolutely amazing. They respond me immediately when I need help and they really got me out of a sticky situation when I changed phones. I couldn’t connect to my new phone and they sent me a lovely email stating all the steps , which made it so stress free. I am so happy with the service that for you provide. I consider myself very lucky to have these hearing aids which have changed my life!! I would😊recommend you all very highly!!! Thank you so much for helping me!!! Kindest regards Louise.Version: 2.5.0

Working Perfectly NowThe TV adapter streaming default volume setting is at the highest (loudest) setting. The comfortable adjustment I set to enjoy a program on TV, used to have to be readjusted each time I received a text, notification, etc, due to the volume and equalizer returned to the default settings. Happily, app support immediately reached out and gave me several options to correct and avoid my issues. I now set my volume and equalizer that is comfortable for the program I am watching and then go to settings on my IOS and turn off Bluetooth. Wa La, no longer having to readjust the volume. When I am no longer watching TV, I go back to settings and turn Bluetooth back on. This has taken care of all issues..Version: 2.5.0

Opticon On is greatI find this the best app for my hearing aids, reliable with excellent connectivity and control. It also allows me to control the volume of each hearing aid separately, which is super useful as I have different levels of hearing loss in each ear. Thank you😀.Version: 2.5.0

TV adapter supportI had a problem with my tv adapter after having my hearing aids adjusted. I had fabulous support from the Oticon support team. My emails were answered immediately and my problem solved. Their patience was marvellous and so much appreciated, especially when others had given up on me. Thankyou Kristian..Version: 2.5.0

DisconnectingThis app worked really well until my iPad got involved! It then started disconnecting and I couldn’t hear anything through my aids. Oticon were very helpful and eventually the cause was my iPad. I eventually managed to disconnect my iPad which kept insisting on connecting itself. Once finally done, the app worked well again. Excellent help from Oticon. Thank you.Version: 2.5.0

Problem sorted so quicklyI updated my iPhone and transferred all of the data and apps. From that point my hearing aids did not function as I was used too. I emailed Oticon my problem they responded and emailed me how to fix the issue. I followed their instructions and wow everything got back to normal Great communication and first class service from Oticon. Dennis.Version: 2.5.0

Slow but worksI would give this app 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the app doesn't stay connected to my hearing aids all the time. When I open it to control my hearing aids, it takes a long time to connect to them, even though they are already connected to my iPhone. Otherwise the app works well and is easy to use. It's the only control that lets me adjust the volume on each aid separately or to just mute them (like when I'm using a hairdryer or food processor). There are controls built into the phone and buttons on the aids themselves, but they control both together always. And the buttons on the aids require pushing multiple times to the lowest volume. So I think this app is worth keeping. Developers, please don't ruin it like other hearing aid app developers apparently have done. I studied their reviews to get a feel for what other brands might be like. I think I'll stick with Oticon for a while longer..Version: 2.5.0

Fabulous productI absolutely LOVE my hearing aids. I was born prematurely at 3 1/2 pounds 2 months early. I have been hard of hearing ever since that day. I read lips all through school and colleges. I finally have purchased Oticon hearing aids. It has been a life changing experience ! I just had cataract surgery so now I can read without glasses and thank God I can HEAR! Oticon service is the BEST! The company replies immediately to any online questions a customer has!!!.Version: 2.5.0

Excellent service from OticonI had a problem with my hearing aids and contacted the Oticon helpline. The response from them was almost immediate. Alessandra replied to me and solved my problem. She was very helpful. My hearing aids are now working perfectly thanks to her help..Version: 2.5.0

Hearing aid stopped workingAllessandro helped me to sort out the problem with my hearing aid within a day. Excellent work and service Thank you.Version: 2.5.0

Good but could be betterI find the battery level indicator (especially for left device) inaccurate. Putting new batteries in it shows <100% on the left, swapping batteries over it still shows the left less than the right.Version: 1.10.0

A great appI found this app is excellent pairing with my phone and doorbell makes life much easier for me being able to hear the doorbell ring directly into my BAHA When I’ve asked for help, I’ve had excellent service very professional and quick to reply Terry Loveday.Version: 2.5.0

Remote connection to iPadHad an issue with aid not pairing with iPad following upgrade to version 15 received excellent advice and the issue was soon resolved..Version: 2.5.0

VolumeThe volume on the Watch app is much too sensitive. It is impossible to change the volume to -1 directly. It goes to -2. The only way I’ve been able to dial -1 is to go to 2 and down to -1..Version: 2.5.0

BrilliantYesterday I was prescribed a new set of Oticon hearing aids, they are a massive improvement on my previous ones. Now I can hear the human voice clearly, but a running tap (faucet) doesn’t sound like I’m stood next to Niagara falls…Wish I was though! So, on to this Oticon app, ‘It’s brilliant’, I can optimise my hearing aids via my smart device so quickly and easily. It even tells me at a glance the state of charge remaining in the batteries. App not working! Now it is!!!Last 5 months have noticed my app opens with a “Pair your hearing aid(s)” screen with instructions for pairing! They are paired with my Apple iPhone!!! Can no longer change programs or adjust volume with the app! I am using Oticon Ruby 2. Started out very pleased with all of the apps functions, including finding a lost hearing aid, but unless this is resolved, I want be able to recommend Oticon!!! Read another review and followed instructions on unpairing my hearing aids on my iPhone in the Accessibility settings and Hearing Device setting. Did that, put my hearing devices in the charger and took them out to reboot; went back to Settings on my iPhone under Accessibility and Hearing Device and repaired my hearing aids and app is connected to my hearing aids!!! Raising my review to 4-stars!.Version: 2.5.0

Does not work with iPadThe app works fine with my iPhone but cannot get it to work with my iPad. I have a new pair of otican real hearing aids replacing an older pair that was working fine with my iPad. None of the troubleshooting suggestions worked. Now as far as rating the hearing aids for their primary use, hearing, they are excellent. My low rating is “only” for the iPad connection issue and nothing else. UPDATED REVIEW: problem solved I figured out the problem a few weeks ago. I had to remove the older set of hearing aids from my iPad. Oticon also contacted me today via email with the same advice. I also preferred a tv adapter that allows me to watch via blue tooth with the tv volume turned down or off. Easy to set up..Version: 2.5.0

Connectivity issues sorted!Update: after not being able to pair my hearing aids for over four weeks an upgrade to iOS17 has done the trick. Many thanks to the staff at the Edinburgh Hearing Practice for their advice..Version: 2.5.0

Great for iPhone and Apple WatchYou may not need this app as much if you’re using Apple MFI controls, but if you want a few more controls, it is very good. I especially like it to turn down one ear in restaurants, etc. and still hear the conversation. If you have an Apple Watch, it’s great! Easy to control your hearing aids (I have the Oticon More), and quickly mute and unmute them. Think about working with power tools or mowing a lawn. Very fast and easy to mute them and return to normal when you’re done. It’s up to you whether to use them in social situations!.Version: 2.5.0
