But I haven't had any success with multiplayer games. My son and I can't connect even though we can send requests to each other. It's not able to find random opponents either. ✓ Server down?The app needs server access to work properly and that access seems extremely limited. No it is not my connection. When you launch the app and click to start you’ll see lots of spinning white circle on a blue background. Eventually (after a really long time) it will give up trying to connect and you can play as normal, but rewards for completing battles will be unavailable. Please get your server working again. Their company website seems to have some issues as well..Version: 1.07

Does scoring rely on keeping near 100% health? Keeping most works alive? Finishing within only a few rounds (time)? I just cannot figure out how it works because sometimes I get 3 stars when I don't think I deserve it, other times I think I deserve 3 stars and only get 1! TEAM 17 If you read this, please give some support on this to explain how scoring works?? I was super excited when I bought this but take everything you love about the worm series now forget it cause this has none of this.. now take what you hate about all the freemium play to win stuff. It has all of that not only do you have to pay for this game. ✓ Worms, but crashes a lot, and with worse gameplayTwo things: Firstly, this game crashes out most times I try to play it. This is quite appalling, being that I've paid for it. Secondly, this Worms has shorter games (that is, fewer Worms) and reduced weapon damage and fling-effect, so weapons in the previous games which caused 70+ damage and flung the enemy across the map now do 50 damage and make them hop. This takes away a lot of the satisfaction of the game, and makes it more a game of attrition not single clever shots, which is disappointing. ✓ I don't like itThis review is coming from a guy that has never played worms before but it can say a lot to others who never played any worms series as well. There isn't really a tutorial so you'll have to learn everything by yourself (I mean everything) which can be very frustrating. On the 5th level (I think) was the level that frustrates me the worse. Took me a while to figure out how to make the jump (by using a jet pack) didn't tell me there was a menu that opens options to other arsenals. Some jumps are frustrating and the controls are just really hard to figure out like controlling flying sheep bombs. Never had a game that frustrated me so much. Got the 4th one because the first few had some negative comments in it and this one seemed most positive. 5$?? Wish I could get a refund. Once again it's not really fair for me to rate the game so low because I have little knowledge on it but I didn't enjoy it so there you have it..Version: 1.07

I see her in a list of friends to invite and I can't play with her for some reason! I'm sitting next to her and the game tells me she's "unavailable". She clicks on my name and it tells her I'm "unavailable." Quite comical. It's a shame cuz the engine itself is very well done and the experience could've been magnificent. ✓ Broken gameFirst of all, the multiplayer component of the game does not work in the slightest. Connecting with a friend is nonfunctional. Finding a match online does not work either. I’ve always really loved worms games, and they really shine best when playing multiplayer. They release so many versions of the game over so many platforms, that it becomes impossible to play with anyone else online. There is simply not a large enough pool of players. If they would just make one worms game and put it out on all systems and make cross play compatible, that isn’t riddled with bugs, then there would be a healthy pool of online players. ✓ Good ideas, bad implementationOverall, not a bad game, but there are some bad implementation details that really hamper it. The constant connection problems are annoying, leaving you looking at an orange overlay with a spinner for minutes on end. Getting reward chests that won’t open no matter how much you tap on them is frustrating. Being deducted 12,000 game dollars for a chest that was supposed to cost 2,000 game dollars was irritating too. The control panel in the bottom left isn’t great, either - the original game’s interface was far better in this regard. It’s fun because it’s Worms, the new missions are interesting, but the lack of any explanation for any weapons is terrible. You have to use them, several times, before you can work out what they do. Lazy, could do so much better, but they don’t seem interested in anything but taking your money..Version: 1.07
✓ Few steps forward, many steps back.I was looking forward to playing the successor to the excellent Worms 3, however I was sorely disappointed. The only real upgrades Team 17 managed to do was to give the game a facelift with some new physics and a robust single player mode; it all goes downhill swiftly after that. Customisation is locked behind the single player mode, which requires grinding (or real $$$), removal of Async online (honestly why? Best feature of Worms 3), Facebook integration doesn't work, challenging friends doesn't work, online doesn't work, the game randomly crashes (6S+ user). The game would have benefited from some more time in the oven to iron out these issues but the fact that it costs $7+, add all the missing features and bugs makes me a very unhappy customer. Team 17's lack of customer support should also be noted, they do not respond on any social media channel so good luck getting answers. 2/5.Version: 1.03

✓ Meh.As a big Worms fan, I really don't like this game. First of all, everything is confusing. Second of all, the customization is horrible. You need to get "badges" or whatever it's called to get costumes, which is horrible. But I do like how each Worm can get customized, and what I mean is that each Worm can have different costumes. ✓ Don’t waste your timeI used to love this game on pc, I downloaded this and became addicted in short order, until it quit loading, that is. I contacted support, followed their instruction to reinstall the game, and it worked, but only the first time I loaded it. Their support team basically said to do the same thing. Now every time I want to play, I have to delete and reinstall it, and some times it will have saved my progress, but more often than not, it doesn’t and I have to go back a few levels and upgrades I had are no longer there. I saw that 2015 was the last update for this game, so I assume the developers must have moved on to other things. So why is it still available in the App Store if they aren’t willing to try and help someone who purchased it? I told them I guess I’ll just have to keep reinstalling it? ✓ Loot boxes, really?Less worms on your team. Less cosmetics, and now you have to have weapon badges which makes them useful. Luckily it’s all locked behind loot boxes. I saved donkey **** dollars for a weapons loot box only to have the game lag and take the money away but tell me I didn’t have enough for it. It’s so much fun being ripped off instead of having fun. ✓ Connection problems, Crashes.I’ve always loved playing worms, except with Worms 4, I can’t. When loading the app, it takes around 3 minutes to load, due to some sort of connection problem. When the app does load, most of the special items that you have earned / paid for, including chests and coins are lost. When opening chests, once again, it takes around 2 minutes, or around 300 taps to open it. I contacted them about all of the issues, and was promised they were looking into it, however, many months have passed, and nothing has changed..Version: 1.07
✓ Great but drains my batteryLove it. But it heats my iphone and drains my battery too fast - unlike previous Worms. Also after you zoom in to your preferred scale, falling crates provoke a zoom out - which is ok - but afterward game doesn't zoom back in. Annoying..Version: 1.07
✓ Typical Team 17Warning: this game has advertisements. Other annoying things about this app is the unavoidable and redundant score screen that you have to wait like 20 seconds to continue. And one more, the VS mode is funk: where is my 4 player brawl option? (It doesnt exist) Edit: I just cant believe how badly they screwed up this game. ✓ Great start, but impossible level killed it.Love the game as it takes me back to when I wore a younger man’s clothes and I played the original game on PC. Very nostalgic. But, level 34 happened. I’ve been stuck on that level for what seems like weeks. Tried customizing my worms differently, nada. The fight mechanics are geared to be impossible. I like a good challenge, but that level is impassable despite many variations of attempts..Version: 1.07
✓ Poor game play.Changed graphic game play physics weapons make for a slow boring game. Should have just released worms 3 with more levels and harder difficulty. So annoying you cant make it more difficult. People who play worms want to play the worms game that they know and love not some weird skinned kids version. ✓ TerribleWorst worms game I have ever played. If you like multiplayer, just stick to worms 3. - no turn-based mp - real time multiplayer does not work, as there is no-one playing. ✓ BoringBoring plain and simple. I mean while I like the new upgrading system and I got used to how it looks I don’t think it’s as good as the previous worm games mainly because after completing campaign you would want to go to multiplayer right? well you can’t because is broken like seriously I’ve never found a single person in this game. Also I don’t like some of the new game modes like the crate collection missions (that you have to complete to pass the campaign) there not fun there just an annoying chore. Honestly I think this game is just meh hopefully they make a new worms game for mobile that has the same quality as the pc versions. DONT WASTE MONEY ON THIS, BUY WORMS 3 instead.Version: 1.07
✓ Online doesn’t work :/The main reason I play worms is to play the online feature, but for some reason it just comes up with errors. Sadly disappointed and asked for a refund.Version: 1.07
