✓ DisappointedJoined for the minimum 3 months as they do not have recurring monthly membership. Very disappointed with fake profiles and not enough matches in my city. Have encountered a few responses only to find out they request your email so that they get “better acquainted”. I didn’t fall for this and warn everyone using this site there are fake profiles where the person is either selling goods or promoting their private porn site. Also encountered profiles where the person tells their happily for ever after story and how they were going to delete their profile and either a coworker or relative read your profile and they would like to chat offline away from this site. The majority of my matches did not come with photos, did not supply them when requested and, when looked at on the mobile app, seemed to have been inactive for a great deal of time! If you edit anything it sits permanently “in review” (they actually review and approve things promptly but the app never shows this). Even the accounts that aren’t obviously fake, end up being a scam. I’ve had the app for 4+ months (because I paid for the premium and can’t get out of it, I tried) and have talked with 3 real people! That’s out of hundreds of “matches” and “likes”. As other reviews have mentioned, the matches aren’t real matches, it’s based on the apps algorithm for what is a good match. Which is even more strange because the app will match you with an account that has absolutely zero information in the bio. Of the 3 real interactions, 1 lives in the same state (2+ hrs away) one was 8+ hrs away in a different state and the 3rd was literally more than half way across the country even though my settings are “within 50 miles” The apps horrible, lags, shows the same accounts repeatedly, and there seems to be zero effort for screening fake accounts. I don’t think it’s due to me. I get lots of positive responses on other services and told that my profile is attractive and desirable. When you create your profile and every single time you edit your profile contents, even for a single word, they review it before publishing it. This process is annoyingly slow and is RANDOM. ✓ Single in the SpringsSo many gold digging scammers. Some days I had the same men’s picture with different profiles as matches. Other days there were separate profiles with identical write ups in the bios. Every day I was reporting fake profiles to customer service. While they were quick to remove the scammers, the majority of my matches were not real people. I was initially willing to spend more to discover if perhaps there was a group of men who wished to be more intentional with their dating lifestyles. Instead I spent a lot of money to act as a filtering service for this app for some thing they should be able to do themselves. I got approximately 5 matches a day. Perhaps every other day, one might be an actual human being with sincere intentions. I’m really disappointed and I wish that I could get a refund. The profile is long and sometimes you need to go back and edit to put your best answer. However, the app goes on “In Review”, as it would not allow the edit to be updated. I am not even talking about the app’s disability to show a whole picture. They claim that based on your personality test, they would match you with only a few ‘right’ match. Their matching system totally ignores your “must have criteria”, e.g. age, education, etc. You will see some “wildcards”, which you can connect with. However, when you click on a profile (from the wildcard list), you cannot save them for later. Right at the moment, if you swipe to the left, the profile will disappear permanently from your list. If you want to consider these profiles, you should send a question to them, otherwise there is no other option to keep them in your potentially interested list. I also experimented the website (using browser). I can tell that the app and the site are not entirely resonating in terms of the content. You see some options as “whatif” (which again potentially you can choose from) in the app, but the site does not show this. Also, the search engine is quite wide. You cannot narrow the age from 18-99 years old. 😅 You can see your personality test result on the site but not in the app. They claim that this site is for professional educated singles, which I did not find it to be entirely the case. ✓ One of the worst dating appsI have tried most all of the dating apps - from free to paid memberships. I hadn’t tried Elite Singles yet. Reading over the website it sounded too good to be true. Why? I have been using this site for a couple of weeks now and my matches have been very incompatible. Many don’t fit my set preferences and several don’t even have photos. I did like that it required you to the set up a thorough profile, complete a personality questionnaire, and it does seem to screen your information more carefully than some other sites. Before that meeting takes place they think that you’ve been sucked in sufficiently they ask for you to send money before you have ever met them. There is no matching involved. You might accidentally meet someone that wants to really get to know you. But the chances are slim at best.
