The app looks great but I bought it to use in the car via car play so it’s a little white elephant at present and with me buying a premium lifetime license I’m feeling like I’ve wasted my money at the moment? ✓ Was good, but…I’ve been using Sygic successfully for five years and often recommended it to others until now. My last two trips have been filled with problems. On my last trip (1600 miles across the US) Sygic often indicated I should exit at almost every exit for many miles. It suggested I exit, go to the other side of the interstate, then go back onto the interstate up the exit ramp and into the left half of the interstate against traffic. It often directs me to the wrong side of the road in split roadways. It would do this mile after mile. It never used to do this, now it does it consistently. The last straw was getting the wrong turn onto a toll road that took me 20 miles out of my way along with tolls I was not prepared for with correct change only. I don’t trust Sygic anymore. Oh, and the speed limits are often wrong, but that never bothered me before..Version: 22.3.7
✓ Sygic Truck and caravan sat nav, could do a lot better.Still getting to grips with system/features but took a wrong turn whilst following directions and it didn’t reroute me until I was 100yds from road I should have been on! In the interim I drove 12 miles in wrong direction before being able to turn them 12 miles back, fortunately I knew the roads and was just testing the accuracy of the system or I could have been much further away. Has put a BIG question mark over its accuracy until I can test it more. Also when inputting dimensions of my motorhome it doesn’t record them accurately, it just seems to use the nearest generic figure that it has, thankfully making the vehicle longer, higher, wider than it actually is but why have a feature that asks for your measurements and then not use them? To summarise it’s still early days with the Sygic Truck and van navigation system but early indications aren’t that good, you need something that will quickly reroute you if you make a wrong turn! If things improve over use I will revisit my review but for now it’s just a 2* could do much better..Version: 22.4.2

✓ InaccuracyMaps show wrong signs all the time like wrong truck limits for roads that are truck accessible causing you to go around the much longer way! Voice prompt speaks 200meters before the turn. Nit a great idea if you are travelling faster than 50kph! App is very expensive compared to other Navigation apps! Wrong driveway or entrances, suggesting you to go into a one way street! Make amendments to these things and this app is potentially good!.Version: 22.0.0
✓ Don’t downloadRun by folks who don’t live in the states. The maps are graphically terrible, they charge an outrageous amount for truck routing but you can’t even set your length and width properly. The last straw was when I finally got the state I was in downloaded, the navigation voice sounded TERRIBLE. Hard to understand and speaking super high pitch and fast. AVOID THIS APP.Version: 22.4.2
✓ Absolute rubbishWe bought this as we have a large RV and really need roads with access for HGV and no low bridges. We set the width and height half a foot over just to make sure ... however it sent us down roads that were unsuitable for HGVs and towards bridges that would have taken the roof off. One road was literally as wide as the vehicle and we ended up with scratches down each side. We met a vehicle that couldn’t pass and as were articulated we couldn’t go anywhere. We complained to the company but they didn’t even bother with a response. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RUBBISH. ✓ Very very frustrating.I bought this navigation app to help with routing when towing our caravan. Since downloading many time I’ve had problem after problem try connect to my vehicle through Apple CarPlay. Now my phone will not connect to my vehicle. Probably the solution will be to use the app separately to connecting through CarPlay. ✓ Poor navigationI have a 7.5m twin axle caravan 8ft wide and during the trial period it was fine now upgraded sends me up 25% incline road that is prohibited for caravans even though all the preferences are set correctly I now think I’ll be getting a fine due to following this useless app. What a waste of money I should have trusted me gut buy cheap buy twice . Save your self the hassle and buy a proper system that is up to job as this quite clearly isn’t. You report it to the routing team and not even an apology they want you to load the route and tell them where the issue is. Luckily I’ll be contacting my card provider as this app is clearly not fit for purpose ..Version: 22.3.7

✓ Sat nav for trucksYou need to fix issues with this app asap. I pay monthly subscription of £8.99 and use this sat nav for my truck. It freezes/crashes at a vital moment when you need it most. Then takes time to recover whilst I’m already driven of course. I can promise you that it will take me one day to a places where I will cause damage to bridge building etc. is it worth the money? ✓ Not very goodIt seems that most truck satnavs focus on where they don’t want trucks such as towns and villages and not on roads that are actually appropriate for large vehicles. Seems to send up country lanes instead of an A road through a village. I have found this to be the case of most truck satnavs. We need something similar to Waze that is updated by the users and is upto date and useful..Version: 22.3.7
✓ Don’t BotherBought this and paid the £80 for it. Had the real time update traffic update that was supposed to be discounted. They charge me full price for it. I’ve tried to sort it out with sygic support , very slow to respond.I’ve just been palmed of back to Apple Pay they are saying it’s their fault. ✓ Unsafe on UK roads you will get caught speedingIf you use the road speed limit option on this software in the UK it gives the wrong speeds sometimes slower, not so much of a problem, but mainly and more worryingly that 40’s show up as 50’s or 60’s. I even found this on local roads I know well and double checked the signage which have cameras. Other than that it was a winner. But I have had a refund for the software now..Version: 21.3.0

✓ No!Installed on my iPad mini, latest version. overall it is a nightmare to plan with and use while driving a rig. Finding a POI on your route good luck ... never mind creating or editing a route... The only positive is that I have a back up with the North America map stored on my iPad just in case I have one argument too many with my Garmin and it ends up out of the window .. which i have done... repeatetly. I have no regrets purchasing this app however would I renew or re-do it all over again.... No. I just have not figured out yet how to read my own reviews in the future from the past. ✓ Not suitable for Coach or Bus in UKOverall I like this app versus other competitors. As a PCV Coach & Bus driver the app has a huge flaw. PCV can use “7.5 Tonne Max Weight Limit” roads however the app avoids these roads. Restrictions for these roads only applies to commercial goods vehicles. Developer: Please change vehicle profile logic for Bus to ensure these vehicles can use 7.5 Tonne Max Weight Limit roads..Version: 22.4.2

✓ High hopes dashed again!I really had high expectations for this app especially after reading the bold claims made by the developer. However these flames are unfounded, I was forgiving of the slightly child like graphics and quirky and clunky interface. I cannot however forgive the fact that it achieves none of the claimed functionality. On first use it tried to take me down a narrow road signed “light traffic only” in Darbyshire and tried to take us down another a few minutes later. ✓ Terrible customer supportDownloaded on my iPad. Not the most user friendly App. Maps appear to be from the old key maps issued by cities, making adding addresses difficult. Prime example, it will not let me add my home address and the online version shows me at an address not mine. Thought it might be because of free version so purchased the Truck & Caravan GPS Navigation along with Heads Up Display but when I login the subscription is not valid. Apple Pay show payment pending. ✓ Layout & functionality need workHeading in the right direction, but there’s definitely room for improvement *Note these comments are for when used in landscape mode with no side bar Speed limit (top right) - This is where the speedo should be, no fancy speedometer gauge with needle is needed, just a big round circle with the current vehicle speed. Sound mute (bottom right) - totally pointless as a shortcut taking up valuable screen space. Incident / Map error - this needs to be a shortcut on the main screen (where the sound mute used to be) and when selected the options need to be large buttons/pictures - remembering at the end of the day, we’re looking at this momentarily whilst driving, so the options need to be quick and easy to recognise. It’s great that you have the Sygic watermark on the map (bottom left) but if we’ve installed the app, I don’t see the value in once again, taking up valuable screen space. ✓ Oversized loads aren’t allowed on the freeway.Needs serious tweaking. I said I was 5 m wide and 6 m high. For starters it said get on freeway ( illegal ) . ✓ Kept directing up unsuitable roadsShould be a good app, but even though I selected large van and ‘prefer main roads’, this app still tries to direct me up very narrow lanes or housing estates instead of more direct. Even when I changed the vehicle to HGV, it still wanted me to use single-track roads that were no wider than a small car - despite main roads being available and, on some occasions, shorter and quicker for the journey. I also found that the map was slow to follow my position, risking missing turnings. I’ve not had this problem with Google Maps, Apple Maps or Tom Tom Go. Glad it came with a free trial because I shan’t be subscribing. It’s too unreliable and makes for difficult driving and routes..Version: 22.0.0

✓ Totally UselessDownloaded this app after being caught by one of the many low railway bridges in Brisbane. Entered in my truck dimensions - Height, lenghth, weight, axles etc and got very excited that this could possibly work given all the info it wanted.... This excitement quickly turned to dissapointment on the first navigation I tried when it tried to direct me under a 3.8m bridge when my height was set at 4.3. ✓ Great Idea…Poor Execution!I wanted a nav app that was meant for RVs. The concept of this app and its features aren’t found on most navigation apps. In practice it fails. Here are a few issues: - print is small and hard to read on my Apple phone - Maps are grossly outdated. There are many problems with roads not on the map. Speed limits are constantly wrong. - Arrival times were shown at a time that was not attached to a reality I know. - many missing Poi’s. Some street addresses could not be found. - the new Apple Car Play is unusable. The screen has box’s of info that are too big , windows of information overlap other windows making the screen messy and unreadable. - Apple Car play was obviously never tested! My observations were developed while towing my travel trailer 9000 miles across the country and back this summer. The maps are poor everywhere..Version: 22.5.3
✓ Garbage satnavI downloaded this app whilst my tomtom, (best satnav on the market) was being repaired, people, DO NOT waste your money on this system, yesterday I was heading from Northampton to Spalding Lincolnshire it routed me down the M1 to the A428 Bedford bypass across to Black Cat and north up the A1, Today I left Spalding to head to Scunthorpe it first sent me via Newark until I reached Sleaford then rerouted me to go down the A17 and through Boston, instead of north on the A15 towards Lincoln, even when I reached my delivery point it said I still had 220km’s to go, even though the destination marker was showing I had arrived, also, when on motorways or dual carriageways it will tell you to exit at a junction but then direct you back on at the same junction. GARBAGE! GARBAGE! GARBAGE! THE ONLY REASON I AM GIVING THIS ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT WONT ALLOW ME TO POST WITHOUT.Version: 20.6.3

✓ Incorrect routingTried to use this on a 14 day trial for the interface with Park4night. Initially it worked ok with good interaction & information although the sound is very quiet. On 2 occasions it then tried to take me down what I would class as a farm track in my motor home rather than follow a major D road in France. It says "available" for the midwest, but I haven't been able to use it because the maps aren't there, even though I downloaded North America. ✓ If you’re looking for truck navigation look somewhere elseI bought this specifically for the truck navigation feature. Fortunately, the first time I used it was for a destination with which I was familiar. It’s a good thing. The routing provided by this would have been a disaster had I followed its directions. As a result, I don’t feel I can trust it with an unknown route. Also, about 50% of the time the speed limits were incorrect. I’ll stick with my Magellan GPS for Trucks..Version: 21.4.4
✓ Hassle renewingIt works kind of well however renewing the monthly subscription for the premium version is problematic. It doesn’t always work. I’ve actually been charged twice in the same month. Now with the auto-renew feature it’s worse. For 2 days a month it tells me that my subscription has lapsed and gives me the option to go premium however when I click the option to go premium it tells me that I’m already subscribed. ✓ Not good for motorhomeWanted a good app for my motorhome as it is over 7.3m in length and 2.4 wide. Decided to try the free option before I purchased, really glad I did. First use wouldn’t find GPS, so restarted the app and bingo, it worked. Took me to the campsite and no issues. Then, next journey, same thing, wouldn’t find GPS until I restarted then after about 5 miles tried to send me down a single track road, which meant I had to reverse out, not easy as I was towing a trailer. Then took me through villages, B roads, single track so got the map out (yes paper map),turned off the app and planned the route manually. Have deleted the app now as it does not work, would have been better using co-pilot or google maps. If you use this app, suggest you have a paper map handy and check the repute beforehand..Version: 21.3.0

✓ Ok app but seems expensiveTried the trial version today on a HGV run. No issues with the route and was easy enough to use. I think it’s too expensive though looking at the paid version and doesn’t even include basic functionality as speed cameras and traffic updates. These are paid extra bolt ons. And on a yearly subscription. I was seeing if I could include a truck Sat navy on my phone instead of having another bit of separate kit. Looks like I’ll be buying the TomTom Pro after all. Navigation has been ok so far in the UK but, navigation sometimes takes you around the really long way! When overriding it and going a familiar safe route it continually tries and redirects you. ✓ Not for Apple devicesThis app has too many flaws when it comes to running it on Apple devices. I was having issues with the ETA. I went the support site where the answer was to reset to default. Well that wiped out my settings, and then my maps stopped working. Reinstalled the app to get the maps back (had already lost all my settings), which did the trick, until I logged into my account to stop the annoying “go premium” ads. It appears to be a weight limit problem- if you reset your vehicle parameters to under 20,000 lb, the app will route you on 80. In Colorado, the app requires you be shorter than 10ft to use I-70, though the tunnel limits are 13’6” I first reported this problem YEARS ago. No change. ✓ HGV Driver Class 1What a joke. And look at the price. Set all my vehicle parameters correctly. Tried taking my 44 ton vehicle down a hair pin 7.5 ton weight limit road. Embarrassing as I had to swing it in wide off an A road to see the sign down the road and be blocking both lanes. On the route home it wanted to take me through a town centre ignoring my height I would have struck a bridge. When I got back to Hull to the depot it wanted to take me in another way that has a week bridge with a 12 ton limit. It pulls you off the motorways and likes town centres for some reason. If you go off route as you know a better way it will try turning you round for miles and won’t recalculate along the new route you’re taking. No margin for error in a HGV and this will catch you out I guarantee it. How can you ask so much money! It’s not even worth using if it was free because it puts you in career ending scenarios.Version: 22.1.2

✓ Does not work with CarPlayI bought this after being impressed by the standard Sygic Sat Nav but as I tow a caravan the times to destination was not accurate as I was not driving to maximum speed limits which is how sat navs estimate times to destination . Therefore I presumed the truck / RV version would be more accurate as you can input your vehicle and slot more information . On plugging into my car play presuming it would work as the standard sygic does I found it would not show up on my car play , and I only found this out after reading other reviews not from the information provided in the app information . It was my mistake for not checking and just presuming . ✓ Looked promising - but no sound when chargingUsed the version for a car and found it very good so when I got a motorhome I decided to invest. Good map and routing seems okay however when I put the phone into the wireless charging carrier I get no sound for directions or any other warnings. ✓ Ok but has issues with routing.I have used this app to plan 5 routes this week, all routes I do regulay. On all but the 1st route at some point it has tried to send me off a main road such as the A1 on to a side road through a small Village and then to bring back onto the main road again. As I am using this app on the free trial and know where I have been going I haven’t relied on it to get me a delivery or collection. If I had been relying on it for routing to somewhere I hadn’t been then I would not have been happy to be sent off main roads onto potentially narrow roads which may have been unsuitable for the load or vehicle I had. I am not sure if I will purchase this app at the moment and may just stick to what I am using at the moment. I have 7 days left of the trial so we shall see how it goes..Version: 21.4.4

✓ Absolute nightmare in EUI used this a few days ago on a trip across Europe passing through France, Germany and into Austria and had my passenger use copilot and sygic tried to send me at-least 2hrs out of my way multiple times for no reason as there was no issues on the roads and my time to destination was almost 4hrs more than the copilot route, my signal was good and had the most up to date maps just a heads up for anyone new, I’d stay well clear of this and use another like copilot.Version: 21.5.1

✓ Doesn’t work for caravans, no CarPlay.The actual navigation screen is pretty good, However putting in car and caravan’s dimensions still navigated me down a road which was too narrow and another where the bend said no long vehicles so I had to back up! The support is woeful. All roads lead to the faqs, no option to contact the team at via email or otherwise to help sort out being navigated down a no entry road, or that the POI for a campsite was in the wrong place. I got stuck in a massive traffic jam due to roadworks, which Google maps was warning me about, but I thought that the routing on Sygic would also know about it, it didn’t. Added an hour to my journey. Finally the real killer, no car play support. The other navigation app that Sygic produces is almost better, but the time estimation there is wrong as it doesn’t understand about lower speed limits.
