TerribleTerrible service, I always gets reservation but when I reply to the customer I never get a reply back. I contacted booking about an invoice they have send me (but I’ve never received no customers ) and explain the situation that I never gets messages back from peoples who makes reservation. More then 5 times I’ve mailed booking but also no reply from booking but still they are sending me your invoice hast 3 days due , 8 days due, 11 days due and so on so on.. 😡😡😡.Version: 9.0

Bug at writingThere is a problem for very long time at replying in messages. The whole app is stacked and it’s very difficult to reply or correct something in your message. You can’t easily move in the text and copy and paste parts in the text so sometimes you have to erase the whole message and start over. Very poorI have used other sites and apps and never found such a complicated app. The app makes it extremely difficult to contact anyone and I’ve had extreme difficulties trying to cancel my listing. If the book g was cancelled you incur charges which is not clear at all when you list your property. My listing is classified as ‘not listed’ and so I received bookings without being notified. Very complicated system which avoids any accountability. Airbnb is MUCH more simple and friendly system..Version: 11.9

Inbox not working on appStruggling to open messages in my inbox on the app which is very frustrating as I have 4 holiday lets and unable to answer my customers questions. Very poor pulse app abilityI own two properties and they are both on my pulse up. I get notified as soon as a booking, message or question comes in. What I can’t do is co-host other properties and have them on my pulse app. I find this very difficult to get my head around as I look after 12 properties on Airbnb and have no problem with that. You would of thought In This day and age that it would be no problem. Unless I delete the other properties from the owners extranet main account and add them to mine . Not practical at all. Not user friendlyThe app is very difficult to use. You need to have at least 2-3 phone to utilize, before you can updates, access certain information on your own account. Unlike other app, you can just easily use one app to transition from traveling to hosting. This however requires 2 (Booking for traveling, Pulse for hosting). And have to log in gazillion times just to update your password. Recently I spent 3 hours trying to update my own pw and another 40mins w/ service support. In fairness, he was very patient. He mentioned multiple times that requiring 2nd authentication is for security, but when will it becomes inconvenience spending hours should be enough reason to update your system..Version: 23.5

Forced updatesWhen I open this app, it's because I have a guest on the phone and need to check their reservation. I don't have the time to update to a new version and keep the client waiting in the meantime. However, when you roll out a new version of this app you force everybody to update before they can access their calendar. A lot of details are missing too that you see on a PC but not on the app, these are important, eg No availability all year , a software glitch? All ok on the app but blanked out on the PC view. My biggest irritation are : Not being able to see day prices at a glance on the calendar Between my acceptance of a booking and guest confirmation it disappears. ImprovementsIt s a good app for keeping track of bookings but the calendar is useless if you have more than one property. You can not see clearly which one is booked as they don’t show on calendar as different colours. Also would be good to look at past bookings. Once they are here they go off the bookings list and if you want to message them it can be difficult to find them if you have multiple properties. Worst platform ever for paymentThey do not take the payment of the host like other platforms like Airbnb or Vrbo does. They only take 30% of their customers and what about the other 70%. That is insane i have to spen 4 hours of my time everytime i have a booking with them to explain to the customer why i am the one handling the payment and why i am requesting e-transfer. Some guest come from other countries they do not even understand what is a e-transfer. But booking want all their commissions while offering half of service. What kind of business is that. Now the guest cancel because they think its a scam and sometimes their own booking agent cancel what is this. Weird. Insane and very frustrating.Version: 25.0

I’m stressed out with this app and the pulseThis app and also pulse booking . Com is very frustrating. People book your place and you don’t know if they are actually coming to stay. Mine says you pay when you arrive. Once my place is blocked. How do I know that the Guest is actually coming ? I have a guest now that won’t answer any of my emails yet he is booked to arrive in August. This is frustrating. Also if I want to cancel the guest has to accept the cancellation. Pulse Booking appFrom a hosts point of view this app is excellent in terms of the functions. It does everything you need to manage your business on your smart phone. It has been well developed and is very user friendly. On the negative side it seems to stop working quite often I have had to delete it and reinstall many times It gets stuck and the data in particular the calendar fails to load It also constantly logs you out so unlike the Air B&B app which does the same thing as pulse albeit through another booking channel. Booking dot com are very difficult to talk to I have raised issues with the app. They seem to be a totally all on line organisation from a hosts point of view so feedback just disappears into a black hole Overall booking dot com are the most powerful Chanel for bookings for your business without doubt This app is an essential part of this and is so easy to use. Glitchy!Lots of the features are not responsive eg does not switch readily between reservation or arrival date, daily report regularly arrives late at night by which time it’s pointless. It is useful for trying to keep in touch with guests although not that many seem to use the messaging system and also getting any cancellations as the extranet on the desktop does not bother to inform you if a guest has cancelled. A combination of the app and desktop extranet is just about workable. Both need lots of improvement..Version: 11.0

More notifications to guestsCompared to other booking platforms this needs a lot of tweaking. For some reason guests are rarely notified or encouraged to look through information given to them. We often get calls from guests asking for basic check in or wifi information - when they have not even taken the care to look at the messages we have sent them which has ALL the information they could want. It’s frustrating having to “baby” many guests- we don’t have to do this with the other major booking platforms. Booking.com need to help guests be more independent. Last night a guest called us multiple times (at midnight!!!) asking us for where to park, then what the check in information is, then what the wifi was, and then where the pull out bed is-!!!! All questions that would be answered had he bothered to read the messages we sent to them. This happens very regularly with booking.com guests. We are happy to help guests that have genuine questions or problems but it’s a huge waste of time and frustration when they don’t even bother to read. Not easy to manage calendarMobile version is way more difficult to navigate, especially when access to the calendar and reservations are needed. It gets even more complex if there are two properties, then to manage the calendar is almost impossible. What’s happened to the calendar?I lived using this app it was only the main reason I stay with this platform for hosting but this week it’s all gone wrong. I listed a second property and all of a sudden I can no longer see my booking details in my availability calendar. Where as before it was so easy to check a guests details and if I had same day turn arounds no when I click on a booked date it gives me no information on guests booking. Not so Great ReallyI wonder why a hired (or employed) web designer simply cannot get it through their head that the space available to the user on their specific device is the target space and not one third of it. IPad functionality not there yet.I use this app on my iPad as well as my Samsung telephone. I have noticed the functionality on these devices is worlds apart. Case in point, I have recently attempted to change my availability for today on the iPad to which I was greeted with, “To avoid overbooking, availability can not be more than 1.” No discussion and no options for changing my availability on my iPad. To get around this, I simply opened the app on my phone which within five seconds allowed me to successfully update my availability to reflect my circumstances. I don’t know how much beta testing the app had on the iPad but I am having some pretty basic issues that aren’t reflected on my phone. I just deducted another star as the iPad version shows cancelled bookings at still active and isn’t allowing the rooms to be rented. I’m sorry but this new bug reduces this app to a useless piece of garbage which negatively impacts my business..Version: 10.7
