✓ Sad about change to quality of filtersNo Ability to obtain filters for several years. Now the carbon portion is a thin paint on layer a veneer if you will on the hepa filter. ✓ Welcome to the future!This system blows me away. Leaving the Dyson on Auto is perfect: it only works hard when pollution is present inside my house. I now have information relating to the pollution levels INSIDE my home, eg PM2.5, PM 10, VOC and NO. This information completely debunks the advice from government to stay indoors when the outside pollution levels are high... for whatever reason, when pollution is high outside it also become high inside. ✓ Dyson Link App is amazing, if it connects!So the Dyson tech that helped me via Dyson app chat was of no help. Friendly, but had no helpful tips as to help me navigate the app connecting to my machine. I wasted so many hours and this sounds silly, but I think it may be most Link App users issue: For one, make sure you turn 5GHz wifi off. Make sure it connects to the 2.4GHz. 2nd, the Link App has a huge flaw in not blocking you from moving forward if you are accidentally entering the wrong internet provider/wifi password. It kept telling me it paired every time for appx 40 tries so I assumed I had been using the right password. It would say it was finishing connecting like it was successful and would apologize for connecting slowly. FINALLY I got curious about entering CenturyLink’s “passphrase” and a miracle happened! It connected to the app in 1 second! I very much hope this helps others as the HP02 machine is a wonderful machine for our baby’s room to monitor the temp and regulate air particles in our old house..Version: 4.5.19480

✓ Love itI love my Dyson Pure Cool Link. It cools the room and being able to monitor it via the app is great. I can keep an eye on the settings and the air quality in and around my home with the touch of a button. I am, however, disappointed that the daily schedule feature is gone from the app. I used to have it automatically turn on and off at set times of day. That was great when not home so I knew my pets were getting the cool breeze on hot days. ✓ Amazed every time I open the appI bought my Dyson as a present to me for my wedding anniversary last year. My husband couldn’t careless about it, but my boss and I have so much fun tracking every little data point. I am also being used as his test case to talk his wife and daughters into buying one for we all share in bad allergies. The app information does prove to my husband I’m not a drama queen when I say I can’t breathe, because now I have more diagnostics to prove there are items in the air causing the issues. ✓ So glad we purchased this!!💕Love it! My husband has extreme hayfever and our new Dyson purifier has helped so much! He’s getting a good sleep and has time in the morning to take his medication and sprays while the air is clear. This has made a massive difference to both our lives. ✓ Love my Dyson Zone, app needs more optionsSo, first I love my Dyson Zone headphones, I’m allergic to perfume so these things are amazing for me. However the app could use some improvements. There’s no setting for preventing the headphones from pausing when I take them off. But the sensors that tell that they’re on my head don’t always stay triggered so they stop purifying the air in places where I desperately need air purification. If the mask hasn’t been disconnected, the app should definitely assume they’re still on my head. Also I’m not sure why neither pressing or holding the button that normally does play pause doesn’t initiate a play/pause the way that power works on my Sony headphones I used to use. Like, I get that they’re not AirPods, but they should be able to do normal standard Bluetooth headphone stuff. Other than that I love love love my Dyson Zones. :).Version: 6.2.23440
✓ Here’s how to get your device to connectIf you are having problems connecting your air purifier or other device with the app, you must do one of the following to set it up: A. Connect to your dedicated 2.4GHz WiFi network on your phone. This is usually labeled with some variation of “2.4” in the name of the network, or if it isn’t but you have one that has “5 GHz” in the name, choose the one without 5 GHz in the name. The Dyson must be set to connect to this network and not the 5 GHz network. B. If your WiFi networks share the same name, or you only have one network being broadcast, go into your router’s settings and DISABLE the 5 GHz network broadcast until you set the Dyson device up, then re-enable it. The Dyson will connect fine after you complete the setup process in the app successfully. This is an unfortunate design flaw as many modern routers use the same name for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands being broadcast. Once the app is set up, it works great and allows you to monitor your air quality. Very nice!.Version: 6.2.23440

✓ Nearly perfect HOWEVER…This app does what you expect from dyson a multi- million pound company. But for the van oscillation settings in the ‘remote’ section, the degree setting overlap with the angle setting (the circle icon), therefore choosing the circle to adjust the angle (direction) of the fan is nearly impossible, as you will choose the moving degree or direction of where the fan is pointing at instead. This has been the case for the longest time and honestly has been very frustrating. PLEASE FIX IT. This is on the iPad app..Version: 5.1.22180
✓ Need more on appNeed to be able to view current temperature setting, even if we aren’t able to control it via the app it would still be helpful to know the current setting so I know if I need to go back into my nursery or not. Also the controls aren’t optimal or intuitive. I should be able to indicate the temp setting separate from the heat/cool function. And auto setting is misleading. Auto to me would mean whatever temp I set, the device knows to heat or cool accordingly. But instead, the only thing auto does is filter the air and change air speed according to conditions. ✓ Swipe between productsI absolutely love every aspect of this app and always have left glowing reviews in the survey and the store. However the recent update modified the UI and removed the swipe feature between my devices. Now I have to go into the hamburger menu on the left, and then click the one I want. ✓ App is not working as expected and support is awfulDyson link app is having issue with the robot’s activity page. This could be a bug so I contacted support and one of the agents advised this is an expected behaviour. Sent support agent the evidence that this should Not be working as expected then I hear nothing from her. After 2 Days, another agent on the same ticket sent me the generic article to map my home. I have done it many times trying to resolve the issue myself, also uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the issue still persists. App is not working correctly on the robot’s activity page but no one can help me resolve the issue. Dyson products are great, but their support is appalling..Version: 4.6.20360

✓ Live and learn!You start to understand why Dyson products are so expensive! There’s a lot of value and quality in their devices… and the app adds total, from anywhere, control and monitoring. We mainly keep it in our backyard RV that we like to weekend camp in. My daughter suffers from pet allergies but we didn’t find out until years after adopting our beloved Lab. Since no one wanted to find her another home, we have been working towards keeping her environments as clean as possible. I can now monitor our RV’s air quality, temp, and humidity 24/7 from anywhere, even if purifier is off. ✓ Updated ReviewMy previous review complained about the removal of the swipe between room functionality. I have to hand it to the developers because they listened! I thank the developers for this! I still think the old swipe interaction was better for 2 reasons. First, you now have to swipe from the edge whereas you used to be able to drag the room to the side from anywhere on the screen. Second, the previous swipe interaction actually moved the house under your finger, which is typically how swipe interactions work on mobile. Overall, the app is a good app. There’s still room for improvement (I’d really love to see a view of all my rooms – fan states, air quality, etc – all on one screen). ✓ Cant connect with my phoneBought Dyson hot and cool two days ago an d downloaded this app. My phone was paired with the machine but it would not go further. We tried with four different phones in three different places. Never worked. Googled why it is happening and it seems like there are lots of cases just like us. Having had to reinstall one machine and adding a new one, the app hasn’t made life any easier. Troubleshooting doesn’t seem to exist. ✓ This thing is from the futureWhen i first bought the dyson cool link, i was wondering why it cost so much. i later realized that it filters out the air which is rlly good and my room has been fresh and clean ever since. I later discovered it can with a app. which is this app. you can schedule when your link turns on and how strong the air will flow. and this thing so has voice command. so all i have to do is set up what i’m going to say. then tell siri a voice command and it will connect to my fan and do what i asked. i can say full send to siri, then all of a sudden the link turns on and at power 10 which is the best, the thing rotates and does everything i asked for. However, a few things I’d like to see: 1) more frequent down to the minute graph updates, like the on-device display. 2) there’s a bug where if you set 2 timed profiles to start and finish at the same time it can cause a device error. 3) it would be great to be able to set maximum and minimum fan speeds for a given profile. For example - on auto at night I could set a maximum fan speed of 5 and a minimum of 2. During the day, this could be minimum 2 maximum 8 for example. ✓ Idea for a very useful Siri shortcutWould love to see more Siri Shortcut options, for example to be able to program the direction of the fan under oscillation to a specific direction. This way I could have different pre sets for different locations in my room. For example I would say:”living room couch” and the fan would rotate towards my couch at level 5 air flow speed and no oscillaton. Just turn to where I program it to. Or I would say:”dining table” and the fan would rotate towards my dining table if I program it to that direction. It’s tedious always having to go into the app and setting the direction every time I go to a different area of my apartment. I think this would be an awesome feature. ✓ Good productWe have two cool heat purification unit 07. We’re heading into our second year. The air quality has improved considerably. The heat work nice in out kitchen and bedroom. The app allows me to check room conditions which is nice. However you cannot control the heat from the app due to regulations. I’m ok with that. Adding if the heat runs continuously for around 8 hour or so. The machine shut off. Which isn’t that big of a deal. But it may be frustrating to those who try to use it as a main heating source. Which I don’t believe that’s the design led purpose. I’d like for Dyson to design one that could be a main heat source. ✓ 10/10This product is terrific! The app is a genius idea! Especially when I’m in another space and can’t get to the remote I can still control the levels and settings. The auto setting is great, just leave it in at let the Dyson do the work! Very helpful when I’m cooking dinner. The highest fan setting is a tad noisy but considering I don’t have it on high all the time it’s very quiet and selecting night the night time setting you hardly notice it. You could have added the menu feature for those who want to click on specific devices but also kept the swiping feature for the rest of us because that was much much much better for me and many others. ✓ Simply amazing.The app is functionally amazing. I have three of the Pure Hot+Cool Links around my house and they all took minutes to connect to WiFi and get linked up. The app handles them all perfectly and never seems to have connection issues. Even when other smart product apps have difficulty. While my last year purchased purifier has the heat option in the app still, the newer ones don’t (even though they’re the same) due to some new US regulations. ✓ Update: Poor update of you have multiple fansUpdate: My frown has been turned upside down.... The ability to swipe between multiple cool link fans has been added. If you now add key function buttons to the individual launch screen to avoid the remote button and add Apple Watch function it’ll be 5 stars from me...for what that’s worth.... I’ve always been frustrated by the Pure Cool fan integration in the Dyson app, having to select the remote to adjust manually rather than have the most used buttons on the product launch screen, but was ok. However, the update has made using this app even worse, previously if you have 2 fans you could swipe between fans, now you can’t, if I want to change the speed setting on my bedroom fan I have to open the app, go to the menu, select the bedroom fan as front room is default, once selected I then have to press the remote icon to finally adjust the settings. I never write reviews but this update has made an ‘ok’ app and poor app. Apple Watch integration and complication would be handy too..Version: 4.6.20241

✓ Dyson 360 Eye to AustraliaI have a Dyson 360 Eye which I had to privately import to Australia. The machine is excellent. I have no idea why Dyson doesn’t release it in Australia. To get spare brush bars and the like I have to buy them from overseas which is pretty annoying. ✓ All the controls you wanted for your Dyson.In short this expands what you’re able to do with your Dyson fan. You can control the reference point of the pivot, set and fix the direction, set a timer to turn off and monitor the the air quality. My mum favourite feature is that you don’t have to be in the same room as your wifi as this is all internet connection. I’ve heard that they wifi and app connection it from the latter fan models. ✓ Dyson 360 HeuristI am a huge Dyson fan and have many products. I have just upgraded my 360 to the heurist and it’s a very welcome upgrade! My only niggle is with mapping and the created map. It would be brilliant if you could adjust the map by adding a wall for when it’s not quite mapped perfectly. The ability to also be able to manually add a new area after it’s been cleaned would be fab. ✓ Mostly goodI really do love and appreciate our 2 Dyson machines. I have a respiratory disease and air quality is everything. My only issue is the WiFi link 😔 ..Because I can’t see/ use the little blue remote..I rely on my iPad or iPhone connection to control the functions. At 72 yr old when I need a blast of cold air I need it now!!! 50% of the time I get a cannot connect response that requires physically restarting the machine. ✓ Stop complaining....People in the US need to stop complaining about not being able to control the heater. Dyson is being over-regulated by US laws, politicians and the US government and because of this over-regulation, Dyson is not permitted to allow US app users access to the heating feature on the app. If you’re unhappy, write or call your local politicians. The United States likely has these regulations in place because of lawsuits and negligence by consumers. People have put their space heaters too close to blinds and furniture, which caused fires, they sued the manufacturers so laws were put into place..Version: 4.6.20360
✓ Useless AppHave just taken delivery of a Pure Hot & Cool. In connecting to the app I get past Bluetooth connection to connecting to the WiFi which “will only take moment” 😤 it accepts the WiFi password and then a revolving wheel then a message that connection is slow. So slow, in fact, that I’ve so far not been able to connect after an hour of trying. I have 2.4GHZ WiFi and mbps of around 56. Sack the Developers. I take it all back and have now rated the App 5*. The developer explained there had been an outage. Have had another go at connecting and now I think it is wonderful..Version: 4.6.20461
✓ Switched phone to 4G in order to connectI was having trouble connecting my phone to the Dyson using wi-fi. I would get to the last step and it would say connection failed after 20 minutes of trying to sync. After one month - the fan and air purifier is great- I decided to try again. Again- failure to connect. Then I read you can’t use a 5.0 ghz network. Weird. So I turned the wifi off on my phone and switched to 4G. Bam- 5 seconds later it was connected. Seriously though- 2.4ghz is a strange criteria to have in order to sync an app. The interface seems quite intuitive so far. We will be adding a second Dyson soon so this will make it a lot easier then keeping track of the tiny remotes with two toddlers in the house..Version: 4.6.20280

Only complaint and it’s a small one and it maybe my fault is that connecting my device to my phone was a little frustrating. But once I slowed down and read the instructions it connected right away. ✓ TP04 The best air purifier!The dyson air purifier TP04 is by far the best! I live with chemical sensitivities, cigarette smoke to name one, and this dyson has made my life so much more enjoyable. ✓ Great controls, but sometimes annoying when trying switch settings.The app is the great remote control for the air purifier. However inside remote control it keeps notifying that the oscillation function has been automatically turned off. Turns annoying. I with there’s a switch to stop automatically turn off oscillation function or switch I can not receiving whole page blocked notifications that telling me that auto-off thing every each time I’d like the function back on..Version: 5.1.21340

✓ NOT an annoying appliance app (finally)!I’m used to apps for appliances being slow, glitchy, poorly designed, and frustrating to navigate. We have had our dyson tower for almost 5 years now and I’m finally writing a review for the app lol at first I didn’t use the app because it has a little remote, but I found ease of access when using my phone instead now. I don’t really need the remote unless I can’t find my phone, and I appreciate how it tells me what allergens are in the room and how much of it, and even logs the time of day which it detected any. ✓ Mapping issuesI really love the Dyson i think it does an excellent job on both carpets and hard floors. My negatives would be that it often has mapping issues and only does half of a room. I also would like it if i could schedule a couple cleans in one day and not just one. Is there a possibility in the future of having a battery that lasts longer? ✓ Great appSuper cool app. I use it every day and I love it. It is great to be able to switch on the heater from my phone while I am under the blankets trying to convince myself to get up. Also the timer function is great! The only issue is the survey in the app itself refuses to open for me. It’s a blank page. ✓ Love my DysonI have been enjoying my Dyson. I like the app and being able to look at the history of the air quality. As others have said, my wishes would be a landscape mode and an explanation of what the different air quality symbols mean. I have the page from the Dyson website bookmarked for reference but it would be great if that was in the app. The question mark explains the graph but not what NO2 means. I too have tried the chat feature in the app with no luck. I finally sent an email to Dyson with my question and got a quick reply. ✓ Newest updateUpdated review: The app has been updated and the ability to swipe to the different machines has returned! Great job, I don’t think i could live without this app now. Thank you for the follow up Dyson The app has changed and where I was able to swipe left and right to see the multiple machines I own has been removed. Now the menu on the left is to select a specific machine and then see only those details, seems much more counterintuitive than the last version. Dyson products are so smooth to operate and normally sleekly designed. This actually reversed that and makes the app more of a pain than a pleasure. Please please please allow us to easily slide between machines as it was before, it made sense. So I like to use the app. Fantastic well designed app as it was. But with this new update. I’m talking about the new remote built into the Home Screen. Thank you. So very much. ✓ Better thru updates, one niggle thoThis app has got progressively better with updates which is great, however I have one small niggle which should hopefully be addressed. Today I received a notification that my Dyson pure cool tower advanced has a firmware update, which again is great but I like to know what improvements it brings, but there is nothing to tell you exactly what has improved, or what new features etc have come with it. ✓ Some areas for improvementFirst I’d like to say that I enjoy using the app and dyson products in general. I have three suggestions that could greatly improve the product and app experience: 1- app interface for homes with multiple dyson air treatment devices: it would be much more convenient to display all devices on the home page of the app. Instead of displaying one device under the roof of the current design, display all devices there. Right now, I have to keep going to the menu each time I want to check air quality and controls of different device location. 2- alerts and notification. It would be nice if we are allowed to set app alerts if air quality goes above a certain threshold. It would help us notice and adjust controls and fan speed in a more timely way when the device is not within the eye sight. 3- this brings me to the last suggestion which has to do with the Auto mode. The auto mode needs a minimum fan speed attached to it. In hot days when I want the fan to work even if the air quality is good, auto mode is useless because the fan will go zero. I’d use auto mode much more if I can set a speed floor for the fan under the mode. Thank you!.Version: 5.0.21062
✓ Great app - improved with HomeKit integrationI primarily use the dyson link app for my Pure Hot+Cool. The ability to schedule and turn on the device while out or elsewhere in the house is great. The experience could be improved, and the app rating increased to 5*, by the addition of HomeKit integration, enabling me to include the fan in automations and scenes in the rest of my home.
