✓ Rubish, unreliable, not working at all. Dont pay.I paid subscruition after reading few good reviews, but now i think those were paid for or something because the app does not work most of the time. You pay £60 for peace of mind, but in an emergency the app just shows you where your child was 16h ago..!?!?!?!!!! People rely on things like that especiall when they pay for it and you just wing it. This developer needs to reconsider their core values. ✓ The app is great when it worksThe app is great WHEN it works. It doesn’t notify the parent app that the child’s app isn’t working as it should - so your child leaves the house, you go and check on them and it shows that they are still at home and that it’s not giving any updates 🙈. Not great when you need to keep an eye on the child. There should be a notification to say that there is an update required or that the app needs to be opened and that the app won’t function properly until it’s done. ✓ Does NOT have the ‘Sound Around’ feature on iPhone.I got this app and got the premium version because unlike all the other apps this had the sound around feature. WRONG. IT DOES NOT. If you and your child have an iPhone then you cannot use the sound around or app statistics which is what seems to sell this app more so this is hugely misrepresented. App developers. You need to remove any mention of sound around or app stats from the whole add promotion and in the apple App Store as this is a huge misrepresentation and you could have legal issues if someone pays for a service you advertise that people get when they actually don’t get it at all. I will be looking for an alternative app as this is no better than using find my or WhatsApp now because it’s pretty useless. Not at all happy I thought this would be great as my son has got to an age now where he wants to start trying to go do little things by himself in preparation for starting school where he needs to go by himself. ✓ Paid for it but can’t use sound around and to see what apps my kid usingSo I got this app since my 12 year old kid started middle school and I was happy because of the sound around and also I can monitor what apps he is going in too. I thought I have to pay to use those features and I did, after I paid I look around the app to find the sound around and to monitor the apps my kid using and I can’t find it. I mean those features are the only features I like but even I paid for it I can’t use it. Just a waste of money! ✓ The app worked well the first couple daysThis app was a great idea. But unfortunately after a few days I kept getting notifications that my kids were off line while at school. There was nothing wrong but the app seems to drop my kids location for some unknown reason. Constant false alarms like this can not only be stressful but very dangerous. ✓ The app was hacked on my son’s phoneI’ve generally been pretty ok with the app for over a year. But last night as we were sitting and talking, I got a message on the app from my son’s Find My Kids app that said, “I’m at school”. I went from having 95% confidence to more like 45%. What was that? How can I be sure it won’t happen again? I tried to find a way to report this within the app and there was no “contact us”. ✓ Not good / battery killerI used the app for 4-5 months and i regret choosing it. I switched to Life360 last month and cant be happier now. 1. False advertisement: At a time I subscribed the app it was advertised that you can hear your kid surrounding but there was no such an option. Also i still don't see any option about seeing your kid screen time or app they used. All false advertising. 2. Batter killer: The app is total battery killer on your kid phone. I monitored the battery usage and it uses at least 20-25% on each full charge. Even if I put the phone in the drawer without any movement still drain the battery. 3. Not reliable: It stop working every often and ask you to tell your kid to open the app. 4. Location history is not great too. It put a straight line between two location like your kid traveled with helicopter!! Life360 is like Apply Find my phone and hardly uses any battery and give you reliable and accurate information..Version: 2.2.205
✓ Drains iPhone BatteryI got this for both my kids. You can’t hear the surroundings if you have an iPhone because their policies. It would say they are home when they were a street over on their bus going to school. Also, sometimes it was very delayed in saying that they were leaving or got somewhere. It drained the battery of both my kids iPhones 13s so bad I can’t use it anymore. It also drained my battery, but not as bad as my children. ✓ After update not workingBought this to keep track of my child, initially it worked well. Had to change all the phones in the family, now it’s not working as well. Has my son stationary at unknown locations when he should be at school…I’ve had to contact the school to ensure he has arrived. ✓ Not worth itI use 360 app but wanted to try this because it’s said you can hear surroundings I was interested in that cuz sometimes you wonder if they are in a safe place. But you can’t do this even if you pay so technically it’s the same as 360 I will said 360 it’s better in a way they don’t false advertising. ✓ I’m not satisfiedThe app is ok but, it definitely needs work. It has my children moving and in different places when they’re in fact in school or at home. I’ve come close to calling police because this app had my 8 year old in New Jersey when he was at home with his sister. It told me my daughter was downtown NYC when she was actually in school. ✓ UnreliableI bought the yearly subscription and it worked at first but now it has become slow and unreliable. ✓ Not working properlyFor 2 weeks now we’ve had issues with this app. Twice it has told me the app has been deleted when infact it has not. Even when messages are sent and received from the app it still says it’s deleted. Today they left home yet 2 hours later it was saying they were still at home. ✓ Drains the child’s battery!I got this and was just testing it out and I thought it was amazing at first. I can find out everywhere he’s been, where he is at the time and there is a lot more you can do if you pay for it. We have been testing it out for a couple weeks and I was ready to pay for the extras when I started to notice my son’s battery was decreasing very fast throughout the day. I thought it might be his battery so I invested and this app is taking 75% of his battery!! I was shocked! From 100% 8am - 3pm it would be down to 16% with him barley touching his phone as he’s at school. I think I’ll be looking for something similar but with better results..Version: 2.2.113

✓ TerribleThis app is absolutely useless for tracking your kids whereabouts, my daughter has just started high school and is getting the bus on her own for the first time in her life, twice now the app has shown me that she was en route to school but at the same time, she was on the phone to me as she was walking through the school gate, the app was still showing her as being a mile away from the school and it’s supposedly accurate within 4 metres!!!! ✓ It keeps randomly switching off child’s locationThis app has worked for a while, so even though it’s expensive I kept it going for safety (although I do feel for the price all features should be available). Over the past few months though, it keeps randomly switching off the child’s geolocation. Both of our apps are up to date and he isn’t getting prompts to do anything. Even if he goes in the app to reinstate it, sometimes within an hour or so it switches back off. So I think it’s time to uninstall it and find a more reliable app. We have checked the links in other reviews and tried the help offered and still is switching off location more and more. ✓ Very basic on iPhoneI thought all the features advertised look amazing and it’ll be perfect for me as I’ve a daughter that’s walking to school every day by herself.. unfortunately it seams that on my iPhone this app is pretty basic!? ✓ Great app just one problemI’ve been using this app for a few years now. I love the app. It’s a little delayed in bits tracking but I can deal with that. However the one day I really needed the app. It would not work at all. My son miss placed his phone one day. The app told us it was near by. We backtracked but it wasn’t there. I signaled for it even called it. No response. Finally about a half hour later the app and phone responded. I found my address and name and personal information all on a website that I did not recognise, when I saw the source, it said it was from pingo. I can’t believe that any parent would put their child at risk with this app by making them download it. But I tried to add my husband to an account and apparently unless you buy a lifetime subscription (not sure which child wants to be monitored after certain age, nobody monitors their grown up kids!) adding second parent to an account is not possible, which is a bit of a rip off as its two parents of a same child, one subscription, one household bill. ✓ Hate the new route updateApp seems to have updated & I hate what’s happened to the looking at the route it was so much easier to use your finger to glide through the whole days route & to choose the date to look at, I don’t want the map that doesn’t open to anything with time to & from & location to & from I want to follow the route how it was before the update & see exactly which route was taken. ✓ Odd survey that resulted in disappointmentIt used to be good. I used to use a free plan. Then one day the app asked me to fill a quick survey asking “what feature of a free plan do you like the most?” Which I answered loud signals. Then guess what happened, they just took that out and made unavailable. I also tried to use a plan version where you pay for a month. It worked horribly. It wasn’t showing the actual address at all. ✓ UselessFor a few months now the app works really bad. The location shows incorrectly, need to restart app for location update, there is no continuous tracking anymore. Routs feature is not working for a long time(months)- “Service is temporary unavailable”. They spend time and resources on useless improvements like changing the path colours though. ✓ LocationIm using a paid subscription for this app. The idea of this app is amazing but it does frustrate me a bit. Location accuracy is quite poor. Ive added certain places like school, home etc but because you have to use such a large radius to add a place, when my daughters phone is at home its showing on the map as a few streets away. You should be able to accurately pinpoint certain places without using a radius. A pin feature would be better i think. I also find the location doesnt refresh very quickly. Checked helpcentre and chat bot and there’s no answer in the online help and the chat bot doesn’t give any option to ask a feee form (typed yourself) question. Just suggested things it can help with. I don’t want to be charged a subscription as this is not suitable but there’s no subscription info in my Apple Pay either. So I’m totally stuck. ✓ Was good, not so much now!This app was brilliant when I first downloaded just over a year ago after we’d decided our ten year old son was just about ready for his first mobile phone. We could locate him without delay, and the fact it had in-app-purchases didn’t bother me at all, you cannot put a price on our children’s safety! They then updated it and it’s become almost impossible to rely on in terms of exact location and really hard to navigate when your child’s constant visits change slightly as in, our son usually goes the park with his mates so I’d set up an alert so I knew he’d arrived safely, then he decided his mates house was the new hang out so tried to change the constant location to there but trying to do so is near impossible. ✓ Had to updateWent from 5 stars to 3 , so this app its not free at all and that’s fine if that’s what it takes so you can be at peace. But one of the reasons that i got it , it was because you could hear the surroundings around your child. ✓ Sound aroundI’ve had this app for awhile now and the fact that it has been changed to where if the parent puts the sound on around the child because they can’t get in touch with them it alerts the child is rather bothersome. Okay I get that everyone is going to say that its invading their privacy. But seriously in the world we live in today they don’t need privacy they need supervision! Now what if my daughter was kidnapped and she put her phone on silent so they didn’t know she had a phone. As soon as I hit the button to listen for her surroundings she’ll be alerted whether her phone is on silent or not. So as far as I’m concerned that feature makes absolutely no sense in protecting our children from being harmed. ✓ Not for me after 8 months of usageI paid for this app annually and have been using for about 8 months now and I don’t think I’ll be renewing it. I am happy that the app tracks where my daughters are, and when it works it’s brilliant. however it relies on an update every few days from your child’s phone (“is everything working?”) if they don’t answer or ignore, it switches off their location. I’ve gotten wise to it now but today After updating one daughters phone at the weekend to say yes accept location and comms, she left this morning and the app did not track her saying her location is off again. She is 10 and hasn’t touched the app. The other is 13 and isn’t that reliable at updating it either. It’s a really great idea but flawed and annoying as the parents app should have more control over whether it is on or off. ✓ The idea is fab. The app is not.The idea of this app is absolutely amazing and if it worked I would feel confident that my child was safe when out and about. However, the app really does not do what it says it can. It never updates the location. It can never access my child’s phone to listen to surroundings (even when my child is at home and connected to the Wi-Fi) and it doesn’t monitor all of the apps on her phone (I left tik tok on for 20 mins and it didn’t recognise that the app had been used at all) but it will monitor some. ✓ Not worth the hassleI installed this to test on my child’s phone as I was looking for an app I could use in future - he’s only 9 so doesn’t leave the house with it but wanted something reliable and with gps reliable etc. wanted a decent app I can use for all my kids in one. Currently my child who’s in bed and the phone that’s next to me claims he’s waking around the street behind me… so not that accurate. My kids do not use mobile data as they do not need it- but the app claims every 4 and a half seconds that I need to turn mobile data on - the kids phones are not set up on their phone- in order for it to work sufficiently. I will not turn any data on as they use mobiles for games- and that drains a lot. I tried to contact support to ask if there’s a way to use it without needing data on and it tells me “subscribe to speak to actual people” This is not the kind of service you really want, I want answers BEFORE I pay for the service not after I pay to then find out it’s not any good for our family. ✓ Good app but could be improved.This is good app with very precision tracking and map but my kids have to open the app few times a day if I want to see where they are which is very annoying. It constantly disconnects from tracking. I understand if I’m writing a message or actually need something but every time I open the app to check the location, I need to remind my kids to click on messages in the app to be able to see where they are. ✓ Used to be excellent - now not workingThis used to track my children even when they weren’t on WiFi (I mean - that’s the whole point, right?!) I’ve updated their phones etc but whenever they aren’t at home it doesn’t track them and my messages don’t get to them. My kids are only 8 and 10 and this was the only reason to give them a phone. I don’t know why it’s gone so wrong?! Messaged twice to help desk and they promised to send me an email but they haven’t yet. Such a huge shame. ✓ It’s ok when it actually works, but very inconsistentMy 16yo is the only one in the family who doesn’t have an iPhone, and refuses to allow me to buy her one. She uses a Google Pixel 4, and I have a iPhone 13 Pro. So the issue I have with the app being inconsistent could possibly be due to the outdated phone she refuses to let go of. The tracking only works when in real time about 50% of the time, and the other 50% normally has a 20 min + delay, or just doesn’t work at all. The Sound Around my kid feature works about 10% of the! This I find the most frustrating because when there is a delay or a complete drop in her location, I can’t hear to see if she is ok. Even when her tracking is working in real time the audio rarely ever works!! It’s ok, but nothing compared to the ability I have to keep track of where my boys are on their iPhone using iOS in-app features!!.Version: 2.2.164

✓ This app doesn’t workI talked to one of the tech support About me not getting my daughter location on my phone seen march 2nd, and he wanted me to give him data used on my daughter phone on that day, I said seen that day doesn’t work I sent signal she gets them so we are in FaceTime on her way back to school so I can see where is she but there is no internet on this days, I rest the app the phone the location in her phone still not working so he told me that that happened because the phone goes on sleep mode so if my daughter is not on the phone 24 hours a day I can’t track her..Version: 2.2.115
✓ Not totally accurateI use the free version and the sos feature is good from my child’s side but with mine I can only send one last signal to my child. I’m Not sure what will happen after I use that last one. The location is not that great at the moment he is with a friend 5 minutes away but it is still saying he is at home. Also once before my phone alerted me that my son was going out in 1am!! REALLY??? I done the sound check and he was indoors not out and he was sleeping over a friends who lives below my flat so I have no idea why the app was telling me he was out, it was really worrying for a few minutes but thank god that sound check helped me realised he was indoors asleep. That’s why I am giving 3 stars as I can see if his phone is on silent and how much percent his battery is. Only down thing is the limited amount of signal offered and location not accurate..Version: 2.2.130
✓ Great featuresI use this for my 12 year old and 10 year old. It has great features for the free version. You can listen in on them every now and then, which helps if your kid(s) walking home. It has an SOS button on their side in case they come across dangerous situations. It is pretty accurate when it is tracking them. The problems I have with it is that it tends to lag a bit. It has features to call/text them but you can only do that if their phone is connected to wifi or has cellular service. Which seems a bit pointless because if they have service you can just call/text their phones, and if it doesn’t, they won’t have wifi outside of the home, so you won’t be able to use those features regardless..Version: 2.2.149

✓ Most features don’t work if you have iPhones!Make sure to read the fine print - most of the cool features such as checking how long your kid has been on their apps and others aren’t available if your kid has an iPhone. All you can do is see where they are (when it’s working) and send them a loud signal if they don’t pick up your calls. So that part works ok when it’s not glitching, but they should really update this app to work with iPhones, or charge iPhone users a lot less since they can’t use half the features!.Version: 2.2.145
✓ Only works sporadicallyRegret buying this as it’s not updated in a timely manner. My kid is at school, I can confirm that with Apple’s Find My app but this app says she’s been at home since yesterday. Waste of over $80 of my money if it’s not updating.
