Lorentz is a resonator-based, AUv3-compatible analog modeling synthesizer that can create metallic and distorted sounds.

# Synthesizer Engine
Unstable and fluctuating oscillators have unisonable sawtooth waves, pulse width modulated square waves, sub square waves and noise. You can mix these waveforms at the same time. The filter has a self-oscillating resonance.

# Universal App
This product is compatible with iPad, iPhone, and Apple Silicon Mac.
Please note that it is not compatible with Macs with Intel CPUs.

# Audio Unit Extensions (AUv3)
This product supports only AUv3 plug-in format. You can use this AUv3 Plug-In in a host application that supports AUv3.

# Notes
- Note that depending on the parameter settings, loud sound may be produced.
- This product can be installed on iPad, iPhone, and Mac computers with Apple silicon (M1, M2). It is an iPad and iPhone app that can run on Mac computers with Apple silicon. It cannot be installed on Mac computers with Intel CPUs.
- This product supports only AUv3 plug-in format. Other plug-in formats are not supported. It can be used with AUv3-compatible DAWs.

✓ Beautiful Sounds!Of the 44 synths I currently have loaded on my iPad, this one ranks up at the top of the pile. The interface is very intuitive and the sound engine is simply beautiful. This is one app that I take great pleasure in composing with or simply noodling. I also really like IceWorks other synths, Laplace, Mersenne, and Cassini. All are very well done but this one is perhaps my favorite. In a field that's saturated with so many synth apps its easy to miss some really great ones. ✗ Limited usage due to poor designYou can't really use thus synth for any really serious work. All the multiple setting features you can only "step" though the setting which forces you to stop playing so you don't hear the in-between settings. They really didn't think that through. And the built in keyboard is only 2 octaves with no ability to move up and down the octaves. Yes, there is oscillator range button but like I already mentioned, you have to step through the three range choices and you can only travel top to bottom and back to the top. It's compact and easy to tweak, but I felt boxed in and forced to use delay after a while, as the sounds sans the delay effect are just par for the course.
