✓ Much better than the other appsAfter a bumpy start due mostly to an iOS bug outside of CallBlock's control it's off running now! Many of the calls I get are being tagged by CallBlock and with the Add Number feature it's possible to submit new numbers (they also immediately take effect for you). Would be nice when blocking calls to be able to see statistics on how many calls were blocked..Version: 1.1.0
✓ This App is a MUST-HAVE!Got this app today because I got tired of receiving all of these calls. I researched around a bit and decided on this app. It has great price, a nice UI, and a universal block list, meaning everyone can contribute to it. It’s a must have, and it blocks those calls perfectly so I don’t have to deal with them. The functionality is great, the design is user-friendly, and it lets the whole community contribute to it. ✓ Call blocker... simple but stellar!The simplicity of the app is its greatest feature. The app gives you step by step instructions on how to set up the call blocking feature through iOS and allows you to add numbers to block once in the app. I get so many calls from fraud rings in Michigan that call and say you've won something and in turn grab your information and steal your identity. With this app I have been able to easily block the numbers so I don't have to keep denying the call. It's also nice to note that the app itself blocks over 3 million numbers from known tele-marketers around the world. There is a nominal fee associated with the app after the free trial but it's very affordable and acts like a monthly payment through the App Store like my Apple Music and Netflix account fees. There are no ads ( thank god! I hate apps with ads) and no surprise charges after the monthly or annual fee is paid. I'd recommend this to anyone who receives tele-marketing or annoying phone calls from unwanted callers..Version: 1.5.0

✓ Try letting the calls through to see it working...So, I had the app set to BLOCK but kept getting telemarketer calls and thought it wasn’t working. I recently set it to IDENTIFY to let the calls through but identify them and I realized it was stopping calls. Unfortunately, a lot still come through, but if this even stops just half of them, to me it’s worth the couple bucks a month to keep it. To the company: the reason I didn’t go 5 stars is because you should be able to open the app and see that it’s blocked calls. Even if Apple won’t let the app know the number that was blocked, just knowing it stopped a call on XXX date/time would let us know it’s doing its job..Version: 1.6.0

✓ I Like it!The app worked as expected based on the description in the App Store and on the developer's website. The in-app instructions are clearly written and easy to follow. Once installed and activated the app even identified and marked with an icon suspicious numbers in the recent calls and voicemail lists on my phone. I received a service call from a vendor and the app alerted me and gave me the option to mark it as an unwanted call. I was originally concerned that type of call might be blocked or sent directly to voicemail as well, but it wasn't. I liked the option to edit the list of unwanted calls since I don't subscribe to caller ID through my mobile carrier. The app gives the option to still allow unclassified calls that don't meet the other criteria to come through. There is ample support for, and access to the developer of, the app via social media and the developer's website. Finally, the 30 day trial is generous for such a nominal monthly subscription fee. That is plenty of time to see if the app will work for you. So far it's working well for me..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Works as advertisedA few month back I began receiving 6 to 8 telemarketing calls every day. Since installing Callblock it's down 1 to 3 per week. Telemarketers can create new phone numbers so nothings going to be perfect, but it's dramatically better. For those of you having problems with this app, Apple has acknowledged problems with CallKit -- the framework that Callblock depends on -- and apparently things are going to be fixed in iOS 10.1. ✓ Great App for Blocking Calls!When you first download the app, you are walked through step by step on how to use the app. You have to setup the free trial (which is definitely worth it) and it functions just like the full version. I advise purchasing the full version because this app is great. The pre-loaded 3,000,000 numbers it blocks has worked excellent so far for blocking unwanted calls.I love that there are no ads too. ✓ Re-review - It works!Update: This works, now that Apple has resolved their issues. Unknown calls are appropriately flagged. Works as described. Best is that support thru twitter was great. He really cares about the success of this. Why not 5 stars? 1) I would like a way to provide updates to the categories - that is unknown to me. 2) So far it tells me a lot of what I already knew -- most random calls that I ignored were spam. Keep up the good work. Original Review Bought it on launch day thinking it would do something. Even with its advertised 2 Million number library, it hasn't done anything. Other then the app being installed, I can't actually see it doing anything. No 'suspected spam' or anything. And when I google these numbers, there have been reports on them for months. ✓ Seems to be working in this rev.Earlier versions were letting robocallers through, but this seems to be related to bugs in earlier versions of iOS10 (unsurprisingly, launching a new feature that has to be compatible with the global calling systems, and could accidentally filter important calls if they did it wrong). ✓ App is amazing, but I’m having one issueThe app works just as advertised. Since I downloaded the app, I haven’t received any unwanted calls. The only problem is that I’m on call at my job.
