What is Vocal Exercises? Description of Vocal Exercises

Warm up with piano accompaniment.

Suggestions for each exercise are included, but you can obviously use them any way you or your vocal coach / teacher see fit.

Pick the root note from either the piano keyboard or musical staff (treble or bass clef). The exercise will be notated and highlighted on the piano keyboard.

Select an exercise, whether you want to transpose up or down a step when the exercise repeats, select the length of the intro chord, and press play.

You can change any of these selections whether the app is playing or not.
Select an exercise at any time, the next repeat will play the new exercise.

Supports sending MIDI messages to external MIDI apps (like Apple's GarageBand®).

Don't let your intonation wander by trying to warm up a cappella. Have an accompanist on hand to play for you.

Vocal Exercises Pros

Good, could use some minor tweaksI've been using a vocal warmup app on ios for a while. Been looking for something similar on Mac. This works well, no issues. It could use an easier way to navigate through the exercises other than next or previous. Perhaps a sidebar with a list so you can jump to the ones you use without having to click through each exercise. As a previous reviewer wrote, ability to customize exercises somewhat to what you're used to or create custom exercises would be nice. For example on exercise 14 octaves, I'm used to starting on the low note, going up and then down, but there doesn't seem a way to switch this. Also all included exercises seem to be moving exercises where as most vocal warmup sessions will also include stationary exercises with different vowel sounds, on like a ma, me, mo, mu.Mpc64Version: 1.1
