✓ UpdateI's not fully compatible with IOS 15, at least not on my iPads, Air 2 & Air 3. It occasionally stops responding to whatever you write. And sometimes it suddenly restarts. ✓ Price...Really disappointed by the fact that no discounts were provided for the purchasers of the 9th version. I paid full price less than a year ago :( The new app (besides an horrendous icon), looks much better. There’s s big omission in my opinion: I love the introduction of Oxford 3000 and 5000 word list, but...why not include those lists in the app??? It’s common sense! It should be in the favorites and not in a link to a website which is just useless (since I cannot see the meaning of a word in the website). ✓ The OUP dictionary team are sly, greedy, and dishonestSo a few years ago I purchased the 8th version of their dictionary through the app store, a few months later they deleted that app from the app store, stopped all updates and pushed their 9th version. So after just a few months of paying £30 for their 8th edition I had to pay another £30 for the 9th edition. I complained to their team at the time and they promised they wouldn't do that again and it was just because of a big update. Here we are just a few years later and the Oxford University Press dictionary team have done it again. They have deleted their old 9th edition app from the app store. Not only that, but timed nicely with new iPhone and later iPad releases so that anybody getting a new phone/iPad cannot just redownload what they already purchased. The reason is that even when you use iCloud to reinstall past apps, the dictionary part was an additional (add-on) download. If you select download it won't download. Your only option is to download their tenth edition. It is comparable to Oxford University Press breaking into my house and stealing my paper copy of the 8th edition because they have released a 9th edition. Then only a couple of years later they repeat the same trick by breaking in and stealing my 9th edition because they have released a 10th edition. And before you reply to my review telling me to email you, you can FORGET IT! Unless you can send me a full refund for my 8th edition and 9th that you have digitally stolen from me by your sly, dishonest, and greedy team, and post a full written apology you then my suggestion before anybody purchases this dictionary is to buy Longman, Cambridge, Merriam-Webster or any other dictionary made by a company that doesn’t engage in digital theft of your previously purchased property. Look at OUP's history of sly, dishonest, and greedy app store practice before you purchase this. You will purchase it now and have to pay again in a year or two. And then again a year or two after that. It's 100% not worth it..Version: 1.1
✓ Text selection problem in ios 13.4.1I’ve been using the 9th edition of this awesome dictionary for years. Then when this new app was released I got thrilled by the new features included in it e.g. CEFR tags. But now after upgrading to ios 13.4.1 things have turned into a nightmare. This is because there is no text selection capability in 10th edition from this update on. Besides, there is a huge bug in text selection and copying in 9th edition from this update on. So, at the moment I can’t use either of them and that’s a pity because I’m completely dependent on them. Please help out!.Version: 1.1

✓ OALD 9 deleted from apps storeI bought the OALD 9th edition for iPhone few years ago for 30$, and today I noticed that the app is simply deleted from the apps store. So I presume you no longer provide any further support or updates for the owners of the mentioned version. What I don’t understand and makes me feel like I have been fooled is that a new version is available on the apps store , the 10 edition. Which is not free. I don’t really understand why I have to subscribe and pay again for another update. This is what we call a theft..Version: 1.1
✓ Incompatibe with older version and web subscriptionA brand new dictionary version that ditches compatibility with old version and Oxford ID web subscription, forcing us to pay twice for the app. Also, the dictionary app is now subscription-based contrary to previous version when we just need to buy it once. And ironically, the web version is free (with ads but I don’t mind), you only pay for some premium features (iSpeaker, iWriter). Why would you want us to pay for this app just for looking up the words when it clearly lacks premium features? Not to mention, we cannot change the font size of the definition, only the UI, which is a major backward compared to OALD8/9..Version: 1.0
